Daniel smiled a bit, nodding. "Alright... See you there..." he said eagerly. Daniel sniffed the air... making sure that there was no troublesome hunter... nothing... he smiled. Chris lived on the outskirts... luckily he rarely came into town. Finishing his ale he headed out with the rest. Today had been a good day so far... a new member of the pack and new clothes.

She waited till everyone had left then she also took off into the cover of the woods to join her pack and love. Mera followed Lith close, Lith watched her as she undressed put her things in a pack and changed. Mera was beautiful both human and wolf, Lith hadn't seen anything like her. She smiled whom ever ended up with her would be a very lucky man indeed. Lith changed and lead the way.

Daniel wasn't too far behind in the woods. Watching them. He hoped that Mera would end up with someone good, she seemed to be nice enough... and maybe with her the pack would grow even more... maybe she would find someone nice, have pups of her own... he could tell earlier that she was thinking that she might find someone. Maybe the pack would have a chance after all. Daniel changed with the others. and followed Lith.

They ran into the night "Where are we going Daniel?" she asked knowing they needed somewhere to rest. Mera was to Lith's left and Daniel to her right flank, she would keep an eye on Mera till things settled down. "Any caught your eye?" she asked. Mera laughed "I haven't been able to see my options yet." she said.

Daniel nodded. "I remember a nice clearing further into the woods... not too far though. Secluded enough that we won't be bothered though. Most humans don't roam into the woods." he said. He was watching how Mera was acting. He smiled, she would get along fine with this pack he though.

Lith smiled "Would be good to lay down, my head is spinning a little." she said. Mera smiled "Baby sickness" she said. "You lead the way Daniel" she said dropping to his right flank and Mera to his left.

Daniel smiled. "Alright momma..." he said teasing her a bit. "You can rest all you want." he said. It wasn't long until they arrived with Daniel leading them. Once there he gave orders to set up the camp, everything was running smoothly. Daniel licked Lith. "You just rest..." he said.

Lith changed and dressed. "I'll help set up love then I'll rest" she said. Mera smiled "I' lucky to be welcomed into a pack so easily by both Alpha's" she said. "What can I do to help? Make my place?" she asked.

"Hmm... well... most jobs are taken care of... except for firewood." Daniel said. "Just find enough to last us." he said. "Well... we find one of our own kind... not that common." he said giving Mera a smile.

Mera nodded and set off to do her job. Lith smiled and kissed Daniel. "I can't believe we found her" she said. "Now I have a midwife" she said with a laugh "I am carrying your children Daniel" she said kissing him.

Daniel smiled widely and kissed her... now that she was with child for sure... she looked a bit different... a beautiful glow about her. He couldn't believe. "I never thought I would be father material..." he said. "I'm glad... I'm so happy..." he said. He watched Mera go off. "Yeah... lucky... our pack is growing.' he said placing a hand on her belly.

She knew he was happy. "You're gonna have to be daddy" she said kissing him with a wide smile also. She placed her hands on top of Daniel's "Boy or girl? Or both? or two girls? or two boys?" she asked him.

(Sorry catching an early night. Story is awesome so far, I have plans for it yet.)

Daniel held her in his arms. "Hmm..." he kissed her neck lightly. "I don't know... but as long as they are healthy... I will be happy..." he said. "A son would be nice, but a daughter is wonderful as well... or both..." he smiled. "I'm just happy to be having children with you." he said.

"They will be strong, healthy leaders" she said "a son would be good" she said "Both." she smiled "I wouldn't have it any other way my love" she smiled. The pack started to settle in. "Daniel, will you lead a hunt? I need to have a sit down for a while" she said. "Doc and Mera will accompany me" she said.

"Right... as long as you stay safe..." he kissed her lightly before leaving her side. He gathered around the group they would need to get enough food tonight for everyone, not too hard, but it was going to be a celebration. A new member and more on the way. He lead the others off for hunting. He was excited.

Lith lay down as doc came to look her over. "Your a bit warm but that will pass. How's the stomach?" he asked. "Not to bad doc, been jumping a bit" she said. Mera moved to Lith's side "There's a herb we used to use back in town to help settle the stomach" she said looking across at doc. Lith clicked and smiled softly. "I'll be fine, just baby makin me feel funny" she said.

Daniel ran across the woods at night with his pack following in tow. He led them wondrously. Soon they found a large elk... that would feed all of them well for the night. The pack worked together, taking the beast down quickly... it wasn't that difficult for the collective work of the pack. They began bringing it back... Daniel's mind never left Lith... he wanted to be with her, hopping that she was feeling alright.

Lith got up and paced back and forth awaiting the packs return. "Mera will you cook dinner tonight?" she asked. Mera nodded "I know just the thing depending on what they bring me back" she said. Mera had a box full of herbs and spices, threads and needles and Fabric for Lith's clothing.

((would you like to Play Doc? I want to make him and Mera a couple.))

Doc watched Mera a bit, smiling lightly. "I'm sure you are a great cook..." he said looking at the box of herbs and spices... "Wow... your collection makes my gathering of medical herbs look shameful." he said with a small laugh.

It wasn't long until the others returned. Daniel looked proud. "This should fend off hunger for a while." he said moving over to Lith, checking up on her.

Mer smiled and blushed a little "It's not what you've got but how you use them good sir" she said. Mera looked at the kill "Can someone carve it for me after I skin it so I can mix up something" she said hooking it up to skin it.

"Good work love" she said kissing him lightly. "Look at her" She smiled "She blushes whenever Doc looks at her, and he hides under his hair but can't get his eyes off her" she said.

((also I want Doc to be a little shy if you don't mind. He had a family_ a wee girl and a wife called Maria. Mera reminds him of her and looks like her. He had to leave them when he changed. ))

Doc moved over to help the rest of the men, getting the food ready, carving it. Everyone seemed eager to help.

Daniel smiled lightly looking at them. "Well... maybe we can help them along a bit, Doc seems a bit shy..." he said with a sly little shine in his eyes. "You know... I was thinking... if we found here... maybe there are more out there..." he said

"Well..." Daniel started. "We could always ask... find out what she did with her life... she's got a story I think... maybe it will feel good for her to tell how she got this far." he said with a smile. "And I guess you are right... I shouldn't meddle..." he said with a little laugh.

Mera wondered around the boys giving them a boll of food all seasoned with her special herbs. She handed Doc a boll and looked down a little shyly as their hands touched.

Doc looked up at her, his hair blocking some of his embarrassment... he seemed to get a bit flustered around her. "I... er... thank you..." he said looking down. He began to eat... it was wonderful... Mera really knew how to cook well it seemed.

"I suppose you're right... like always." he said with a laugh
