Mera blushed wildly and looked up at Markus then to Lith then to the ground before letting go. "umm..Yeah... rest.." she said walking off with her head down to hide her embarrassment.

"Rest well" she said to them then turned back to Daniel. "Right Captain" she said with a laugh. "Your in charge" she said.

Markus moved below deck and found a room. "Um... if you don't want to share a room with anyone else... you... can share one with me." he said. "There are two beds... so..." he offered.

Daniel watched as the two went off. He sighed lightly. "Young love..." he said. He was a bit younger than them so he laughed slightly. "Hmm... I think they will do alright. They make a cute couple." he said. "Captain... sounds nice... never been called that." he said laughing

Mera smiled a little shyly "um... Thanks..." she said moving into the room he suggested. It held two single beds and a small table.

She laughed "Young?" she said raising an eyebrow. "They are both shy. They both have felt heartache. She wants comfort and he can give her that" she said. "Well Captain lead the way" she said with a laugh as she looked out across the water.

"No... no problem..." he said. Markus looked down at the bed... comfortable for what it was. He smiled looking back at Mera. "Mera..." he said. "I'm... glad you joined the pack." he said blushing a bit.

Daniel smiled. "Yeah... match made in heaven... I'm sure Lupa will smile upon them." he said moving to the wheel. "Aye aye first mate!" he said taking the wheel. "Next stop, D'nalri island!" he said.

She sat on her bed she saw him smile as he looked at her. She smiled back and blushed again "Yeah.. Me to" she said. She yawned again then took off her boots and coat and got under the covers in her pants and singlet top. It wasn't too long before she fell asleep.

She smiled "Yeah... Depends if Mera can take being here" she said. "First mate? Intend on having more?" she asked with a laugh "Typical Male Alpha taking several women.." she laughed.

Markus stripped down as well, leaving on only his light clothing, comfortable while he slept. Closing the door so the noise wouldn't bother them, but to be honest all would could hear was the gentle waves and feel the light rocking.

Daniel nodded. "Aye... the place... might bring up too many bad memories..." he said. "Hmm... now that you mention it..." he said teasingly. "No... I don't think anyone else could be as good as you... as smart or as beautiful as you. Besides, you already stole my heart away." he said.

She slept well for a while... Then the dreams started. They had been getting worse over the last few days. She was outside hanging a white sheet, she could hear her husband around the corner chopping wood. She felt a kick in her belly and she laughed running her hand over the bulge. Then she reached down to take another shirt from the basket, she looked into the eyes of a big wolf. His teeth were flashing white as he eyed her, his eyes hungry and lustful. She screamed as he lunged for her knocking her over. She heard her husband calling her name but it was too late, the beast had her leg and started to drag her into the woods behind the house, she screamed and hit its head again and again till blood loss and shock knocked her out.

Mera screamed as she slept and thrashed around in the bed sheets. She kicked and mumbled unable to open her eyes from the nightmare.

"Yeah that's what worries me" she said rubbing her arms. She laughed "It's natural for an Alpha to take more than one mate... I know a few who stay with one." she said "You think you could put up with just me?" she asked with a smile "I've locked your heart somewhere safe. Somewhere only I can get" she said.

Markus heard the ruckus, his eyes opening, waking from her screams. He quickly jumped up, seeing if anything was attacking her... he was ready to defend her... but no... it was her dreams. He still moved over. Placing a hand on her. "Mera... Mera... Wake up. It's me Markus... Mera... you are safe..." he said trying to free her from her nightmare.

Daniel looked at her lovingly. "Hmm... I don't know... I think I can put up with you..." he said tieing down the wheel once the course was locked. "My heart locked away... hmm... where are you keeping it?' he asked. Moving over to her, kissing her lightly.

"Run Demetree Run" she yelled, she felt a hand on her and her eyes flw open and she sat up really fast. She was hot and panting as she looked around the room in a fright. She ran a hand over her legs the looked at Markus who had a hand on her. She let out a deep breath "It was only a dream..." she said with a sigh. "I'm so sorry" she said looking at him, his face calming her down as her breathing became normal and her temperature dropped.

She smiled "That's good cause I think I may be a tough house wife" she said watching him tie the wheel down. "Wouldn't you like to know" she said as he came over. She kissed him back the pulled away and looked to the door way down to the bunks. "Did you hear that?" she asked.

Markus looked down at her, kneeling so he was at her level. He looked to her. "No... you didn't bother me... It's... fine..." he said feeling her head, feeling her temperature returning to normal. "How about you... are you alright?" he asked her moving a bit closer to her.

"Yes... I did." Daniel said moving in that direction. "We should check that out, make sure everything is alright." he said now having a look of duty on his face... ready to protect the pack and his love.

She put a hand on her chest and lay back down. "I just gave myself a fright" she said. "Lucky the Doctor was here" she said with a weak smile.

Lith followed and soon they got to Mera and Doc's door. Lith knocked "Everything ok?" she asked as she slowly opened the door.

Markus looked down at her and smiled warmly. "I'll always be here..." he said. "Just... relax... take deep breaths... you'll be alright." he said. Markus looked to the door and seen Lith and Daniel. "Yes... we... we are fine. Mera just had a night terror." he said. "It... looked like a pretty bad one as well." he said.

She did as she was told and tried to relax, her hands were clenched into tight balls ever since she woke up, she relaxed letting her fingers straighten.

Lith nodded to Doc, "Ok. We just thought we could come see what the distress was" she said "Rest well, both of you" she said.

Mera blushed and looked away.

"How bad?" Lith asked walking over to her bed side.

"P-pretty bad..." he said. "Screaming... and..." Markus stopped... "I'm sorry... but... it isn't my business to tell you..." he blushed a bit. "I... shouldn't be speaking for Mera." he said noticing that she was relaxing a bit. "

Daniel stood in the doorway watching... seeing everything was fine he smiled, though a bit worried about Mera...

She was blushing and looking away from Daniel and Lith. She looked back at them still blushing "Sorry..." she said. "I'm ok now..." she said quietly.

Lith nodded "Ok then... Rest well" she said leaving the room, she closed the door and took Daniel back upstairs.

Mera looked away again "Sorry..." she said again.

Markus looked down at her, seeing her looking away he shook his head. "It isn't your fault... some things we just don't have any control over." he said. "Mera... is there anything I can do to help?" he asked her gently

Daniel followed Lith back up topside. "I'm worried about her... but she is in good hands, Doc can help more than we can." he said

She looked back to him hearing his soothing voice. "I don't think I can sleep again..." she said softly holding back tears.

"So am I..." she said "I know she has been having bad dreams but that's bad" she said. "Doc will watch over her" she said.

Markus looked to her and put his arms around her. "Mera... you need rest..." he said. "I'll... I'll be right here..." he said looking at her, seeing her holding back tears. "But... if you don't think you can... then I can't force you." he said. "Still... sleep will help you." He was worried about her, he wanted her to be alright, but knowing she was distraught from this nightmare... he couldn't help but feel helpless... he was only good with things effecting the body... he didn't know much about the mind.

Daniel nodded. "Aye... he is a good man..." he said.

She sighed "yeah I do... But so do you" she said. He put his arms around her and she felt a comfort and warmth. "Force me?" she asked looking up at him. She wondered how he would do that. "Where's my bag?" she asked. "I think there is some lavender in there. It should help me sleep" she said "i always carry it with me" she said.

"So are you" Lith said kissing him.

"Right... I... don't like to use pills to make people fall asleep..." he said. "Lavender... brilliant" he said. "That will help a bit." he said finding her bag, removing some of the lavender from it. "Yeah... I need rest... but I can't until I know you are alright..." he said looking to her. He blushed a bit. "So... what else can I do?" he asked.

"Aww... you give me too much praise." he said looking to her. "Hmm... I got a great mate as well... that helps." he said.

"Yeah" She said watching him fetch her bag and some lavender from it. "I don't want you to lose sleep over me" she said placing the Lavender under her pillow then resting her head over it. She saw him blush and she did a little also. "I should be ok" she said with a yawn.

"Na just enough. Any more and it would go to your head pup" she said "A bossy old one" she laughed.

Seeing her yawn he smiled down at her. "Alright... if... you are sure then..." he said standing up. "I'll be right over here if you need me." he said moving back to his bed. Laying down. He looked over to Mera. "Sleep well..." he says.

Daniel smiled. "Bossy? Nah, just keeping a pup like me in line... and old? Hmm... not too bad." he said. "Young enough to keep me on my feet." he says putting his arms around her.

She nodded and watched him go back to his bed. "You also" she said. She looked at him and then closed her eyes to let the lavender take its toll on her.

"Yeah hard work that is" she said with a laugh. "Your getting old" she said with a laugh "Older than who you used to be, who your friends are" she said. She held him close feeling his warmth.

Markus looked to her once more before yawning and closing his eyes. It wasn't long before he drifted off to sleep.

Daniel smiled. "Old? Me?" he said with a laugh. "I guess I am... but I have to grow up quick... with all the changes happening... I have to learn what I need to do." he said. "And you help me so much." he said holding her close as well. Hugging her tight. "I love you." he said.

Mera Slept well with the lavender Her dreams were however of Markus.

She laughed "Don't worry. The pack will help you. You'll grow into being a daddy" she said. "I love you to" she said back rubbing her belly."I think I'm starting to bulge" she said with a laugh.
