no longer doing this rp
Hamona a young and beautiful mermaid, she is also a princess of the sea kingdom. One night while Hamona was at the ocean surface, she saw a cruise ship. She was fascinated by all the lights and the people. Then a little boy had spotted her. He yells out to her, “Hello there! How are you not drowning out there?!” Hamona being the same age as the boy showed him her deep blue tail. The boy was shocked. Then all of a sudden, a big wave hit the ship hard, causing the boy to fall overboard into the sea. Hamona gasped and quickly made her way over to the boy before he could go under water. The boy blacked out because of the cold water. All through the night, Hamona swam through the water to the seashore. Hamona looked at the boy as he began to breathe. She thinks, “Good he’s still alive.” Hamona smiled and took a scale off her tail and placed it in the boy’s hand. She says in his ear, “As long as you have this scale, you will be safe in the sea waters.” Then Hamona went back into the sea and to her castle. She was unaware that she left her magic peal with him too.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt has always loved the sea, living near it his entire life. He took cruises frequently, as he was at the moment, leaning on the railing as the night air refreshed his face. He took a deep breath of the familiar salty air and looked down at the dark water, tilting his head to the side as he saw a girl in the water. “Hello there! How are you not drowning out there?!” he called to her. It seemed extremely unusual that someone would be out in the cold water, so deep. When Hamona showed him her dark blue tail his mouth fell open in shock. He had heard of mermaids, but not beleived the tales he heard, passing it off as tales for little kids. When a wave hit the ship he pitched forewards, falling into the cold water, his world going black as the dark waters engulfed him and he lost conciousness. He had a strage dream, being pulled by a mermaid through the ocean. But it was all foggy, and didn't really make sense. He woke on she shore, hearing the familiar sound of the waves, as he sat up slowly and noticed what was in his hand. He examined it closely, wondering if the dream was actually a dream after all. The tide lapped at his feet lightly as he turned the scale over in his hand, and he sighed, wishing it would stop, as he was freezing. He looked at it suddenly when he realized that the water had indeed stopped lapping at his feet, and the waves seemed to be avoiding him. He walked into the sea, drawn by its beauty like he had many times before, diving down beneath the surface. He knew he should have been finding a way home, but he didn't realize how long he had been out in the water until he turned to find the shore and it wasn't there. Paniking, he thrashed in the water, hoping to attrackt the attention of anyone, hoping someone was near enough, though they could pass it off as marine life. But he felt his fingers his the scale and he pulled it out of the pcoket he had stuck it in, and he began to tread water, for some reason calmed.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona made her home and sighed. She hoped the boy would make his way home okay. She sat on her sea weed bed and looked around. Instinctively she tried to grab the pearl around her neck, but it was not there. Hamona began to panic. She says in whispers, “Oh no I must have left my pearl with the boy too. Hopefully he’ll keep the scale and my pearl safe until I can come to the surface again.” She decided not to tell her father about the human or the pearl. Her father would surely kill the human if he found out. She could not go to the surface for the next three months and hopefully the sea witches would not find the human or her pearl.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt swam in the way he figured he had come from. He was normally good with directions, but in the ocean, with nothing around him but water, he found it harder to figure out which way he had come from. The cold water was starting to get to him and his teeth chattered. The hand in his pocket with the scale brushed something small and round, and he pulled the pearl out and looked at it curiously. He didn't think it had any value but he found it pretty, so he stuck it back in his pocket. He had a feeling that it belonged to the mermaid who had helped him, and he hoped that he had the chance to return it. He swam for what seemed like hours, and his body was completely exausted, when he dragged himself onto the shore he never thought he'd see again. Fayt lay on the warm sand for about ten minutes before getting up and making his way home, to the big house he lived in that backed onto the sea. When he got there his parents went insane, thinking they had lost him, before he was sent to bed so he wouldn't get sick. He put the scale and pearl on the table beside his bed, wondering when and if, he would see the mermaid again, unless it was all a weird dream, but rhe scale had his mind thinking otherwize.
Re: no longer doing this rp
After three month, Hamona made her way to the surface. She had a lot of things in a side sack attached to her shoulder. She got to the surface and actived a tracker for her pearl. She swam for days on end without stop for a breath. Hamona finally came to th shore but did not step on it. She was suddenly afraid to go into her human form. She then took a breath and started to move onto the shore. Her hair shortened, her eyes went from purple to blue, and her tail turned into legs. Hamona looks around as she stood naked on the beach. The only bad thing was while in human form mermaids were not able to speak. She started to walk around looking for the boy and some clothes.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt spent alot more time on the shore for three months than he normally did, and he walked out of his house onto the beach slowly, scale and pearl in his pocket. He was wearing white shorts that hung to his knees and a blue t-shirt, which went well with his odd blue hair that he had been born with, though many people claimed that he dyed it. His hair blew in the light wind and he started to walk through the sand bare-footed, the breeze nice in the heat. He looked out at the sea, walking down the beach. He wasn't really paying attention to the shore, so he didn't notice when he drew close to Hamona.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona had finally found a cloak to put over herself. She was walking on the beach following the tracker as it beeped louder as she got closer to her pearl. The pearl began to glow some wherever it was at. She then bumped into a boy with blue hair. She fell back on her butt. The cloak was not covering her very well as she looked up at the boy. Her eyes lit up as she saw it was the boy she saved three months ago. She covered herself the best she could with just the cloak. She then looked up at the boy. She tried to speak but no sound came out of her mouth.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt jerket his head to look at the person who had bumped into. "Oh, sorry, I wasn't paying attention" he said with a small smile. He didn't recognize the person but he held out his hand to help her up, his eyes taking her in quickly, wondering why she was on the beach in only a cloak. When she tried to speak, the boy tilted his head to the side. "Are you ok?" he asked curiously, not knowing what was wrong. He had no clue that this was the mermaid who had saved him when he was knocked off of the cruise ship. He gazed into her blue eyes as he waited for her to respond, not knowing that she couldn't.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona took his hand and got up. She was still trying to talk. But then her eyes widened realizing her voice was gone. She points to her throat. She thinks, "Darn it, I can't speak to him. I forgot if you lose your voice if you lose your pearl. This is going to be hard." She covers herself again and keeps pointing to her throat trying to tell him she could not speak. The tacker was beeping like crzay in her hand. Hamona looked down at the tracker and then shut it off. She know if she stayed with the boy she would find her pearl.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt helped her up and watched her carefully, extremely confused. "Ok so. . . you can't talk" he said slowly. "Um. . . can you write in the sand or something?". He was intruiged as to why the girl couldn't speak, and he wanted to know what she was trying to say. His hand was in his pocket, and he fiddled with the pearl and scale absent-mindedly, as he had been doing alot out of habit. He pulled the pearl out of his pocket and rolled it around in his fist now, not really paying attention to what he was doing.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona got a gold stick out of her pack. She writes in the sand: I'm Hamona. I am sorry I bumped into you. I was not watching where I was going. I am very sorry.: She senced her pearl was close, but her human form senses were not always so good. She ignored them since she did not know if she was right. The pearl rolled around in his hand smoothly. It was glowing like crazy in his pocket. Hamona looked at Fayt with lit eyes. Eyes that anyone would love. She waited for his answer with a shy smile.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt raised his eyebrows at the gold stick that was pulled from the girls pack. He read what she wrote quickly before looking up at her and smiling. "It's ok" he said with a small laugh. "and I'm Fayt" he looked into her eyes, smiling a bit wider at the light in them. "So. . . uh. . . " he scratched the back of his head with the hand that wasn't rolling the pearl around as he tried to phrase the question in his mind without it seeming akward. "What are you doing out here in that cloak?" his attempt mostly failed at not being akward. "And why can't you talk?" he added as an after thought. He couldn't keep his eyes from hers as he waited for her to write in the sand again.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona thought a moment and wrote: I am wearing this cloak because I do not have any clothes...I don't know why I can't talk. My throat gets sore every time I try to talk.: Hamona saddened some. How could she not think to find some kind of clothes to wear. She yelled at herself mentally for being stupid and for seeming like an idiot in front of Fayt. As soon as she finds her pearl and gets her voice back, she was determind to tell Fayt that she was the one who saved him. But how could she without her father finding out?

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt looked at the words scratched in the sand and raised an eyebrow. "You don't have any clothes? Ok then. And your throat gets sore. . . do you have larengeitis or something??" he was pretty confused about her answers but he didn't really think anything of it. He continued to roll the pearl around in his palm, having no idea that he was talking to the person he had been looking for so he could give it back.
((ok i dont know if i spelt 'larengitis' right but i hope i was close XP))
Re: no longer doing this rp
(OOC: It's spelt Laryngitis)Hamona knew he was confused by her answers by the look on his face. She could not answer him the way she wanted to, it was to dangerous. For her people and for him. She writes: I am not sure what I have. I think that's what my doctor called it." She has studied the humans for years so she knew what they called things.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt nodded at her words in the sand. "Oh ok" he said slowly. "That sucks. . . I had it once". He made a face to accent the fact that it wasn't a pleasant disease. He was running out of things to talk about and he was getting slightly akward. "So uh. . . what are you doing here?" he inquired. He shifter his bare feet in the cool sand slightly, looking into Hamona's eyes.
(( ok thanks XP ))
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona thought a moment and wrote: I am going to be moving here for a while with my aunt and uncle. At least for a month or so.: She heard the sand beneath his feet. She then wrote: Might you know where I could find some clothes? I'm feeling rather uncomfortable in just this cloak.:

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt thought for a second at her question. "There's a boardwalk just down the beach a bit if you've got money. But if not I'm sure I can find something" he said with a smile. He was glad she would be there for awhile, as he would be able to see her more.
((OOC: sorry!! so sorry. I got sick and didnt have a chance to reply. sorry XP ))
Re: no longer doing this rp
(Sorry for not replying. I got my casts removed Thursday and I have been working ongetting my feet and legs stonger.) Hamona looks at him and then writes:I don't hav any money right now. My parents well have my money right now. Me coming here was kind of a last minute thing. So I was left here in a rush. My father and mother did not come with me here and most of my stuff that I got stolen.: She hated telling him lie after lie, she could not let him know who she was until she had her pearl back.

Re: no longer doing this rp
((its ok ^.^ i havnt been posting much recently anyways XP))
Fayt nodded and smiled. "Well I can probably find something for you to wear" he said confidently. She looked to be about the same size as his sister who was out of town. "It's too bad your stuff got stolen. Did you talk to the police about it? It could get found pretty easily" the blue haired boy had no idea that she was lying, finding it pretty normal what had happened, as it happened alot around there.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona smiled happily as he said he could find her something to wear. She writes: It would mean a lot." Hamona was happy that Fayt was not catching on that she was lying. She thinks, "This stuff must happen alot. He does not seem to expect a thing." "It's too bad your stuff got stolen. Did you talk to the police about it? It could get found pretty easily." Fayt said. She writes: I tried to, but they seem a little too busy to bother finding my stuff.:

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt smiled and nodded his head down the beach. "My house is this way. You can borrow some of my sister's clothes" he said. "The police here are normally pretty busy" he grimaced slightly. There was alot of crime there for a small town on the coast. He turned and began walking back the way he came from, towards his house. He glanced back expectantly, making sure Hamona was following him.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona smiles as she follows him to his home. Her footsteps made no noise as she walked behind him. The sand seemed to sway beneath her feet causing for some reason made no sound. So when Fayt looked behind him to make sure she was following him, she gave him a calm smile. Her eyes calm and happy.

Re: no longer doing this rp
Fayt opened his back door when they reached his home and he listened for a moment. Hearing nothing he called out. "Mom? Dad?" hearing no answer he was satisfied that they were alone. He walked in and looked back to Hamona, gesturing for her to come in.
Re: no longer doing this rp
Hamona was hesatate for a moment. Then slowly she walked inside his home. She looks around in amazement. She had not seen anything like his home in her life. Human things were nice to look at. Hamona was still learning about the human world and the things they used. She looks back to him with a smile. Her eyes filled with excitment as though she just discovered a new treasure.
