Re: All In The Game
The offer of a hot shower with Serenity sounded real good. Just like her his clothes came off and he headed for the shower, making sure the door was firmly closed. He entered the shower and moved behind his lovely Serenity, moving his hands down to her stomach, pulling her back against him. The hot water felt good as he cascaded over their naked bodies. Moving his hands up he took some soap and began soaping her tits and moving his way down her body. "I think I can get use to this." he chuckled and slowly moved his hands over her body, soaping it as the water rinced it clean.
Back on Harcone, Admiral Montrose was ordering a number of ships to go search for the two Pirate vessels. "Do not engage, only locate and report." He had found the damaged cruiser and its captain. A test run for the new ship is what the captain had been told by Krell. That he did not belive at all. They were up to something and he needed to know what. He had plans and he did not need them interfering with them. He had been gathering ships and men, hidding them in systems like Harcone. The military bases he had on the plannet had been obliterated. Thousands of storm troopers lay dead now, storm troopers he had painstakenly recruited. His anger knew no bounds.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity sighed deeply as she felt Krell's hands over her skin. The smell of the soap was really quite pleasant and she smiled as she leaned back into him and let him wash her clean. His comment caused a small snort of laughter, "I'm sure you could." She replied smoothly, then turned about in his arms. "And I know something else you could get used to, too." She took the soap from him and took a small step back. She lathered up the soap and spread it over his chest, massaging it into his skin. Over his powerful shoulders, down his ribs to his navel and then back again. She could tell he was thoroughly enjoying this and to be honest, so was she.
Pulling him under the jets fully, she rinsed off the soap and then ran her fingers through his hair. She did this firmly, pulling his head back slightly before she leaned forward again and kissed his throat, nipping lightly on the skin.......

Re: All In The Game
Krell enjoyed the way she washed his body. Her hands felt good moving over his skin. It aroused him even more as his hard manhood pressed against her as his hands moved over her soft naked flesh. As one hand moved up and down her back, the other moved up to find her marvelous breasts and squeeze them. As she began nipping at his throat he let out a low growl of pleasure.
Two days of being on the Raven with out her was a bit fustrating and in the future would probably be the same. But when they did get together it would be one hell of a time for the two of them. He was going to enjoy the time they had for the hyperdrive engines to cool off. Now that he had found the woman of his dreams he was not about to let any time they had together go to waste.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity grinned as she heard the growl from Krell. She knew how much he was enjoying this without even having to look. The rather strong prodding beneath her navel told her all she needed to know. Slowly, she backed up again and put her back to the wall of the shower. She pulled Krell with her and lifted a leg around his hip. Then her arms went around his neck and she lifted herself up to him and put her other leg around him. She then locked them together at his back and pushed her shoulders to the wall. Once she knew she was secure about him, Serenity kissed him deeply and smiled as the water cascaded down her face.
This should keep him plenty distracted, she thought, or at least it'll stop him asking me constantly if I'm ok. Kissing him again, Serenity hoisted herself up just a touch more and then waited for him to do the rest.....

Re: All In The Game
Krell felt her move back, so her back was against the shower wall and then pulled him with her. Once she had lifted both legs up around him and held on to him with her arms about his neck, he reached down and guided his hard manhood up to her and slid it inside her waiting womanhood. He let out another low growl of pleasure his manhood was sheathed inside her. She was still nice and tight and it felt so good. His hands moved down to support her more by holding on to her legs as he began moving in and out of her.
He had promised her that their first time was not a one time thing and that there would be many, many more nights like their first. He was adament on keeping that promise. For he was the type of a man that once he made a promise he kept it. He kissed her long and hard, his toung dancing with hers, as the water flowed over the two of them.

Re: All In The Game
A deep shiver of pleasure slid down Serenity's spine as she felt herself impaled on Krell. A deep sigh escaped her lips and she kissed him back deeply. Carefully, she arched her back to take him deeper into her and then tightened the muscle around him until she could feel every ripple and vein along his shaft. Such a wonderful feel began to grow inside as she turned her hips into his and rubbed the bud along him. The extra stimulation caused her to tight more around him and she let out a small cry of passion into his lips.
As he had promised, Krell was treating her to pleasures she had long missed and she knew now he was the real deal. In their lifestyles, making a promise could be entirely different to actually keeping a promise. Krell had made his promise and now he was keeping it. This was something Serenity would not take for granted.
As the water moved over her face, she locked her eyes with his, blinking intermittently against the drops that forced their way into her eyes. She allowed one hand free from his neck to quickly brush away the hair being plastered to her cheeks and nose and then smiled at him again. "Krell." She breathed, "Krell, I....." So close, so very close to telling him! She caught the words in her throat. Instead, she kissed him again and held him tight....

Re: All In The Game
Krell felt her muscles tightening around his hard shaft and then move her self to meet his rythem. It felt so good, it was hard to describe but he wanted more. She gave out small cries of pleasure as they continued their love making. She was enjoying it as much as he was and he wanted to make sure she enjoyed it. It was never good for only one partner to enjoy it, both needed to.
She looked at him and he could see she was wanting to tell him something but stopped in mid sentence and kissed him. He assuemed she was trying to tell him she loved him but decided to show it more by kissing him. When he broke the kiss, "I love you." he whispered, his voice filled with such sencerity.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity stared into Krell's eyes as she heard him say he loved her. Three little words that could mean so much heartache and happiness. Pulling herself closer still, Serenity seemed to wrap her entire body around him, and put her cheek to his. "I know." She whispered back, then buried her face in his neck.
As he thrust into her, Serenity turned her hips into it, taking him deep into her. It didn't take long for that burn to rise and her cries became louder and more urgent for that release. The already steaming water from the shower turned hotter still as her skin flushed with colour. Then her cries turned to screams and she threw her head back. Everything around them began to rattle, bottles and canisters fell from the shelves in the cubicle......

Re: All In The Game
Krell increased his rythem as her cries became louder and sounded as if she was about to climax. He moved himself faster and harder as her cries becames screams of pleasure and she threw her head back. He rammed himself up inside her one more time and held himself there as he unloaded his load up inside her. Her arms were already tightly around him and her head burried into his neck.
He put his arms around her and held her tightly to him, as he hit the button to shut the shower off. He heard the bottles and other things in the bathroom falling. He smiled. It seemed they would have to try and get her to control her powers. He wished that the Jedi had survived the Rebellion and had not been wiped out in the final battles. They could have helped train her in the use of her powers and she could then use them. "It seems your powers are emerging more." he chuckled.

Re: All In The Game
The higher her release grew, the harder and deeper, and faster Krell thrust into her. He would climax at the same time with her. "More!" She demanded and he gave it. Harder still, he rammed up into her, pushing her to the brink of her senses. Her climax finally hit and she screamed loudly into his neck. And just at that point, he came too, filling her. After that, everything went hazy again and Serenity allowed herself to relax on him.
The shower was turned off and Serenity smiled in relief. The water had become almost unbearable. Taking deep breaths, Serenity unlocked her legs and let him carry her full weight. Her powers were emerging more? Serenity furrowed her brow as she smoothed back more of her drenched hair. "You've lost me." She replied, "What do you mean, my powers?" She was aware of them, sure, but calling them powers was a little weird....

Re: All In The Game
Krell carried her from the shower and looked around the bathroom. Things were laying all over the place. "The things that the governor talked about. The ability to control the force, powers as some would call them." he nodded to everything around the bathroom. He carefully steped over everything and into her quarters. Here he set her down on her feet but kept his arms around her, holding her to him.
"Perhaps when we find this mysterious planet we can find a way to teach you to control them." he kissed her lips gently. Then he thought of what they had been doing and sighed. "I think you should go see the Doc aboard the Phoenix and get a birthcontrol shot. Though I would love to have a little one, especially with you, the timeing might not be quite right at this time." He did want a family, children that he could help raise and love. But they were in dangerous territory and he had no idea how long they would be out there.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity surveyed the damage in the bathroom and turned a crimson colour in her cheeks. "Oh." She said, "That. I wouldn't call them powers, more like a curse." He carried her out of the bathroom and then set her on her feet in the bedroom. He kept his arms about her and she happily slid hers around his hips. He carried on about perhaps learning to control them once they had finished with this mission. Serenity nodded, but then her face emptied of emotion when he said he thought it a good idea for her to have a contraceptive shot. The words, 'too little, too late' came to mind.
With half a smile, Serenity moved from his arms and leaned back into the bathroom to grab a towel. "You're probably right." She said, "And we haven't been together long enough to cope." Every word she said was true, but he really was a little late in his thinking. Though he probably assumed she'd had the shot last time they'd had sex. But it did stick in her mind that he did want a family. And with her no less. It made her smile inside. She knew he wouldn't run off when she finally did tell him. She just had to now find a way to keep the medic and Krell away from each other.
Then, a small part of her, probably what little sense of right and wrong she had, told her that he really should know. At this, she gave a small shudder and wrapped the towel tightly about her. No. If he found out now, he'd send her back to Haven, drag her kicking and screaming probably and she'd be port bound or kept aboard the Raven so he could keep an eye on her. No. She couldn't tell him. Not yet. But that little voice kept niggling at her and she closed her eyes to fight it.
Pretending to dry off and sort herself out, Serenity feigned a smile, "So you really want the whole deal with me." She mused. "Next you'll be wanting to wed me and keep me at home. The happy housewife and mother sort of thing.".....

Re: All In The Game
Krell, laughed when she mentioned him probably wanting the whole thing, getting married and all. "That I would not mind." he told her and wraped his arms around her again. "But keeping you at home, I don't think I could ever do that to you. Just as I don't think I could stay in one place all the time. We two are alike in this I think. We need to be out here among the stars, coming back home to stay for awhile, enjoy down time. But our lives are ment for space. It is in our blood way to much." he kissed her neck.
"I would never condem you to that kind of life. Though we would have to figure out how we would raise our children." They could keep their ships and crews go out and do what they had to, taking turns on staying planet side and raising them. That way one of them would always be with them no matter what. But that was down the road. Once they had gotten this mission over with and hopefully rid themselves of the emperor and empire.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity closed her eyes and put her hands back around his hips. She turned her head into his shoulder. He promised he would never keep her planet-bound if they had children. That made her feel somewhat better, but when it came to him actually knowing they were having children, would he really be able to keep that promise? It irked her badly that she couldn't read him like she could read other people. Still, she would take him at his word for now.
Being held like this, she found it hard again not to tell him right then. And it was getting harder. And the longer he stayed with her like that, the harder it got. Eventually, she managed to break free of him and she reached for her clothes. "I'll just nip down the med bay and see about that shot." She offered. "I won't be long. Make yourself summats to eat or something." She forced a smile and quickly got dressed. As she did, she felt her stomach turn over again and coughed it off into her hand. She finished dressing and grabbed her boots......

Re: All In The Game
Krell liked it when she put her arms around him and laid her head on his shoulder. Holding her made him feel on top of the verse. When she broke free of his hold and began getting dressed he raised a brow. Going to the med bay right then and there to see about the shot. Now that did not seem like Serenity. They only had a short time that it was to be together before the next jump. He was becoming a bit suspicious that something was not quite right. But to have a relationship like theirs, Trust was paramont. He had to trust her to tell him when the time came what was bothering her.
"Well the next jump will bring us to the Core of the Empire. Since none of us has been there for some time, it will be hard to figure out a place to come out of hyperspace. I think I will go over the old charts of the Core and see what I can come up with." he told her. "I'll be up on the bridge." he moved up to her and patted her ass before opening the door and leaving.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity nodded in agreement and then watched him leave. Entering the Core would indeed be a tough guess. Once she knew he was out of earshot and her vision, Serenity leaned against the wall and put a hand to her lower stomach. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. The sickness would get far worse before it got better. Once she had calmed herself again, Serenity made her way down to the med bay. She just hoped the ship's doctor would be more trustworthy than the cook had been.
On entering the bed bay, Serenity looked around cautiously and then gave a cursory smile to the doctor. A young man with a bright smile and glittering red eyes. He clearly wasn't human, but he looked close enough to pass as one if you weren't looking properly. "You are the ship's doctor, yes?" She asked cautiously.
"Indeed I am." The man replied. He had a strange accent and tone to his voice that was neither common, nor Imperial, nor alien. It seemed a complete mishmash of the whole lot.
Serenity lifted an eyebrow. "I need a few things done and such, but on the silent. Can I trust you, Doctor?" She asked seriously.
The Doctor furrowed the rather odd looking monobrow he had as his red eyes seemed to contract and then turn a dark orange colour. "If that is the case, can I trust you to be completely honest with me at all times?"
Serenity remained silent for a moment or two as it hit her that she recognized the species after all. Slyder was a variant of it. The Doctor must have been the half-breed version while Slyder was a full blood. "Yes." She finally said quietly, "I will tell you everything you need to know. But you must swear to me that it goes on no record that can be opened without either of our permissions and you say absolutely nothing to anyone else outside this room. Understand?"
The Doctor lowered his head and bowed discretely to Serenity. "As you wish Captain." He said, "Anything that needs to be recorded shall be placed under another name and title and locked away in my personal files."
Serenity nodded and finally smiled proper. "Thank you."
"Now." Said the man, patting the med table next to him. "What is it I can do for you?"
Serenity placed herself neatly on the edge of the table. "Firstly, I need a full medical check." She said, "After that, I need you to keep an active file open for me for the next 10 months, or thereabouts."
"10 months?" The doctor questioned.
"Yes Doc. Ten months." Serenity repeated. "During that time, I want a fortnightly check of my iron count, hormone levels, proteins, any possibly deformities and I want a constant check on my weight and any curvature of my spine as I grow."
The doctor smiled almost brilliantly, his eyes turning an almost ruby colour. "How delightful!" He exclaimed, "Congratulations, my dear Captain. Mr. Krell must be dancing on the stars."
Serenity gave the man another serious look. "He doesn't know." She told him quietly, "And I don't want him to know until I'm ready. Understand?"
The doctor firmed his feline-like jaw and nodded, "As you wish." He replied, then motioned Serenity to lay back. "Now, let's have a look at you."
The examination took around half an hour to complete and by the time the doctor was finished, Serenity knew exactly how far along she was, what the fetus looked like, how big it was and how much it would grow in the first few weeks. She knew exactly how much she weighed, the exact angle of her back, hips and legs. Her hormone levels were elevated, but that was normal and her proteins were within the needed markers. Apart from the sickness, Serenity was a picture of pregnant health. She left the med bay with a copy of her file so she could keep track privately as well as with the doctor. Though the file was sealed by password and voice activation.
The file locked away and hidden in her quarters, Serenity went up to the bridge and smiled as she spotted Krell in the Captain's chair. "I believe that seat belongs to me." She offered lovingly as her arms went about his shoulders. Both crews knew about them now, so there was no point in hiding their affection.....

Re: All In The Game
The star charts in the ships computer were extensive. They had been compiled long ago and kept up to day by the Empire, well as far as possible. But they did not have the deployment of the Imperial fleets. Krell knew that there were two fleets. One the outer world fleet was spread out among the systems to keep order and the systems in line. The Second Fleet, the Imperal Guard, was at the core of the empire. A number of systems that were heavily populated, industrilized and, the most loyal to the Emperor. That is the military, govenors and the elite. The populace was more or less forced to comply with the emperor. They would not weep for the man if anything should happen to him or his cornies.
The Fleet is what bothered Krell. It was made up of the finest Heavy Cruisers, Light Cruisers, and Friggets. Unlike the outer systems that had maybe a Frigget or a Light Cruiser patrolling the area, these had small task forces comprised of a number of ships. Come out of hyperspace in the wrong place and they would be pounced upon by at least a dozen ships at the same time and a couple squadrons of fighters as well.
When Serenity came up to the bridge and moved up to him putting her arms about his shoulders, he chuckled at her comment. "Aye Captain." He slowly stood up and helped her to her command seat. "There you go." he grinned, and then again took a look at the star charts for the Core that he had up on the main screen. "Looks like this system would be the best to come out at. It has an Ion Cloud just outside the last Planet's orbit. Should give us some protection from detection." At least he hoped it would, unless they had put some sensors out that far to warn of such a thing. Then things could get a bit sticky.
Now it was his turn to put his hands on her shoulders and give her a massage.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity smiled and took her chair back. As she sat down, Krell pointed out the system they could drop into and then massaged her shoulders. It was nice, but Serenity had a problem. She looked over the star charts again and then shook her head. "No." She said flatly. "We can't drop out in there. The Ion Cloud is a ruse. Trust me." She looked up and over the top of her head at Krell. "That's where I dropped in last time." She said, "And right into the middle of a large Imperial squadron. And two cruisers, I might add. Like I said. My last trip through here nearly cost us our lives. We need to drop out in the most exposed place possible. No planets, no clusters and no nabulae. Remember my love, you can put things in a map, but you can't take things out. There has to be a few thousand square miles where there's absolutely nothing but space."
After a quick search through the charts again, Serenity came up with a spot that seemed just perfect. "Kai." She said, "Double check these coordinates for me. Let me know if there's anything there beyond star dust and emptiness. I don't want anything around us."
"You got it." Kai replied and started checking Serenity's positions. "Looks clear." He said after a few seconds.
Serenity touched the spot on the map to bring it up in better detail. "We drop out here." She said to Krell.

Re: All In The Game
He looked at the area that she picked out. It was possible. Out of the way of everything. Not close to any planet. That was good. But it was to damn close to Imperials for his comfort. Even though they did have alot of space around that nothing should be there, one never knew. He pressed a button on her chair consol and transmitted the data to the Raven. "Been years since I was even around those parts."
A message from the Raven came back, "Course plotted and laid in Captain. Four hours before we can ingage hyperdrive engines."
"Roger Raven. Will be back aboard shortly then. Three hours. Not to much time for them to be together. He was wanting to spend more time with Serenity, but the way things looked they would not be able to do much until they were in the New Republic Territory. He had a feeling that Serenity would be staying on the bridge. "Ok Beautiful." he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Next stop the real Empire Core. Take it easy and pray the Empire doesn't have anything there." he grinned and left the bridge.

Serenity half looked over her shoulder and then at Kai. She gave something of a worried look and Kai came over to her. He leaned over her right shoulder discretely and then turned his head to her cheek. "You haven't told him yet then." He whispered. Serenity shook her head. "Does he have any idea at all about it?" Once again, she shook her head. Then:
"Can we get back to the business at hand, please Kai." She whispered back.
Kai nodded, but then tapped the chart to bring up her coordinates. "Does he know how much the Core has changed over the last few years?" His voice was a little louder now, but still private.
Serenity shrugged her shoulders, "If he doesn't," She replied, "He's gonna get a rude awakening when we get there."
Kai lowered his head and chewed his lip. "I'm not comfortable with this, Ren. There's nothing there for a damned good reason." He whispered quietly. "Talent and wits and all the prayer in the 'verse aside, there's no way he'll make it through the Void."
Serenity looked up at her commander, "He'll make it." She whispered firmly, "I believe in him. He will make it Kai."
Kai leaned in a little further, "Ren, there's only four pilots I've ever known that can do that run and come out again alive. You, me, Holsche and Bradin. Bearing in mind, Holsche is now 75 years old and Bradin died in Smuggler's Pass 5 years ago. Do you seriously believe he can get the Raven through there without getting sucked up?"
Serenity sucked her teeth, then her upper lip, "I believe in him Kai." She repeated, "I can feel it in my heart. He'll make it." She then half turned her head to Jenny. "Get the kid up to speed on this Kai, I don't want her freaking out on us. She needs to know this route in case we come back this way."
Kai looked at Jenny for a few seconds, then back at Serenity. "She is not flying this bird through here, Ren."
"She won't be. She'll be flying Jez with me."
Kai's face went pale, "Explain." He demanded.
"Later." Serenity told him, then tapped the internal comm for the ship. "Head's up pups." She said clearly, "We got a few hours before our next jump, so take advantage of it. After this, we land square in the Core and I don't fancy gettin' sucked up this trip." She then turned her eyes back to Kai. "Get her up to speed." She ordered, "I'll be on the Raven for the next couple of hours. The Phoenix is yours until then."
Ten minutes later, Serenity arrived on the Raven and went immediately to the bridge. Jenkins met her at the entrance and smiled. "Welcome aboard Captain Diamond." He said politely.
"Thanks Jenkins." She replied, "I need to speak with Krell. It's important."....

Re: All In The Game
Jenkins nodded and moved to a door a bit to the right of the one that lead off the bridge. He pushed a button and spoke into the intercom. "Sir, Serenity is here and wishes to talk to you."
"Send her in." Krell's voice came back and the door opened. Krell sat in a chair behind a desk. He was looking over every scrap of info on the area that they were going to be coming out in. Old reports from years before told of ships disapearing there, one that had managed to escape claimed that there was somesort of void that suddenly appeared and sucked in a second ship that had been with them. That they had barely escaped. As she entered the small office, he stood up and smiled.
"Well now. I didn't expect to see you till we came out of hyperspace. What's up?"

Serenity smiled and entered the office, but then waited until the door was closed before she spoke. Then, knowing that they were alone, she moved up to the desk and looked over the computer pad he was looking at. "Well, this is up." She said, pointing to the pad. "There's a few things you need to know before we make the jump." She sat down on the edge of the desk, her hands resting on the desk either side and looking downward. "The only way you'll learn about that part of space is to talk to someone who's been through it." She looked up again at him. "Namely, me."
Taking a deep breath, she hopped off the desk again and picked up the pad. She tapped it over her other hand for a moment,t hen let it drop back onto the desk. "We call it the Void because there really is absolutely nothing there." She began. "That void has claimed more lives than any war this 'verse has ever seen and I'll tell you why. It's not a Black Hole, or an anomaly in space. It's not a dark matter nebula and it's not a time rift. It is, in fact, a living, growing and completely aware life form. An entity that thrives on certain forms of energy. And it moves. Not very much, but enough that it can suck up an entire star system like that." She snapped her fingers at him. "The only form of communication it understands is food and Baby, believe me when I say this, we are prime, class A grade gourmet meat to this thing." She gave him a look of caution, wondering what he was thinking. Something that continued to drive her utterly nuts. "This thing can literally suck the life force out of you and you won't know it until it's too late. Now, I've dealt with this thing before and I know how it works. I can sense it and almost anticipate it, but you can't. If you're looking it up, you've never been near enough to it to know what it can do. So, I've come over here to draw up a plan with you. That plan being, you stay on my ass the entire time. You let me lead you through without question, hesitation or doubt. If I say jump, you don't even ask how high. You just jump."
She moved around the desk and perched herself between him and it and leaned against the edge with her feet between his and her arms folded across her chest. "If we make it through, you can shout, yell, swing for me if you want and I won't argue with you. But until then, I'm God. One more thing......" She opened her mouth, then shut it again, then opened it and shut it. Then finally, she took a deep breath. "I...."....

Re: All In The Game
Krell sat there listening to her go on about what she called the Void. She seemed to know alot about it and there fore he took it that she had encountered it and like the one ship had managed to escape its grasp. "So a living entity and a hungry one. It only inhabits this part of space and it appears only now and then?" It sounded like it was a creature that phased in and out of the known universe. Perhaps it was apart of another one. He had heard theoies of alternate universes and that at times door ways open and close to them.
"Alright I will keep on your ass all the way." he grinned, "A lovely one to follow if I may say so." When she moved between him and the desk, he reached up and pulled her to him, slipping his arms around her. Then she seemed to be trying to tell him something else and couldn't. "Well what is it?" he asked.

Serenity smiled nervously, but didn't move from his arms. She coughed quietly into her throat. "No." She said, "It doesn't appear now and then. It is constantly there, it just moves from time to time, depending on a food source. So far, I've only ever come across this one being, but it's possible there are more in the 'verse. They just haven't been found yet, or they've eaten those that would have told about them. Take your pick." Then he pressed her for that other thing.
Taking her time, Serenity tried and failed a few times to think of something else to tell him. "well." She stammered, "It's kinda difficult for me to say it." She was stalling and he would know it. "I mean, it's never happened before and I'm a little worried that you won't keep your promises to me." She stared into his eyes and tried to smile, then shook her head, "It's nothing really I suppose. It happens to everyone else eventually, why not me now, huh?" For all he would know, she could be talking about anything, especially when it came to them, seeing as she had made it clear she had never done this before......

Re: All In The Game
She was hymn hawing around about something. Telling him that it had never happened to her before. She was a bit worried about it. That it was really nothing, and she was worried that he would not keep his promise. The only two promises he had made to her was that their first night of making love would not be the last and that there would be many, many more. The second was that he would not keep her planet bound should they get married and have children.
His eyes went wide and his jaw dropped. He looked down at her. He swallowed hard, "Are you, you, trying........" he cleared his throat. "Trying to tell me....... you are, with child?" The look of amazement, pride, worry, and love filled his face. He pulled her to him, holding her close.
