Re: All In The Game
Seeing the apparitions emerge into something more believable, Serenity lowered her saber. A man and a woman, both dressed like they had just walked through a time rift. The man looked her up and down, somehting she had hated for many years and still did, even from a ghost. He spoke a name she recognised, then the woman introduced them both. To her, Magnus looked remarkably like Krell, except he was somewhat taller and probably much older. The woman, Lu'Sen, reminded Serenity very much of her grandmother, or perhaps her great grandmother. Her mother had once shown her pictures, but had never explained them much, just that the woman in them was an ancestor of sorts. The name she did recognise was Jon'Dur. He was her maternal grandfather, or at least, his name was.
"Jon'Dur was my grandfather's name." She said as she looked the odd pair over thoroughly, putting aside what they had said about the Sith for now. She looked them up and down again and wondered if these were the original lovers that had caused the chaos all those years ago. "So you two are our ancestors?" She asked, waving the saber at Magnus, then Lu'Sen. Serenity could barely take her eyes from Lu'Sen, she reminded her so much of her mother. Then, "I have a question for you both. Why me? I mean, Jenny sure, she's bright, determined, a downright pain in the ass sometimes, but why me? Why didn't you pick my brother for this? Doesn't he have the same abilities hidden somewhere? He is my twin after all, so why not choose him? He's the noble one.".......

Re: All In The Game
Lu'Sen smiled. "Not all decendents were blessed with the ability to use the force. You are the one that was blessed with it, and you are very strong with it, as is Jenny." she seemed to sit down on something as she continued. "Yes Magnus and I are the ones that shook up the Jedi and the Sith with the two of us falling in love. " she chuckled, "Though at first we were dead set at killing each other." she reached over and took one of Magnus' hands. "But we didn't and we were blessed with two beautiful children of which you two are decended."
"This Jedi that has called you here, he has insight on the way the force should have been used. Trust him and as Lu'Sen has said, train now and let the abilities and knowledge that is there come to you. The Sith that is coming is powerful and very knowlegeable in the ways of the force."
Jenny looked on in awe as she began to grasp who the two "ghosts" were. "How can you two and that other ghost that is with Luke be here if you are dead?"
Magnus chuckled again. "When those that have used the force like us die, we can come back in this form and talk with those like you. Another perk of the force you might say."

((sorry, ran out of things to say))
Serenity remained silent for a while longer, thinking it over before she made her next move. Another perk of the force indeed. Regardless of what they could achieve, the pair were still very much dead and gone. After quite a while in sielnce, Serenity finally spoke up again.
"Just how many descendants do you have?" She asked, looking squarely at Magnus. "How big is our family, really? Dozens? Hundreds even? How many of us are there that you know of?"

Re: All In The Game
The question Serenity asked brought sad looks upon the faces of the two, and in their eyes one could see great sadness. "You two and, your brother and Jenny's mother are the last. All the others have died in one way or another. But then a smile returned to Lu'Sen's lips, and of course the child that you carry. That one my child, will be more powerful then the Jedi that seeks to train you."
Magnus placed a hand on Lu'Sen's shoulder. "But you are not the last of those that are strong with the force. Both those that make of the Sith Empire and here in the Empire and New Republic have those that can be trained and be the new peace keepers. Thought the New Republic does not think they need such peace keepers they do indeed." Lu'Sen rose and both of them backed back up into the shadows. "We must leave for now, but know we will be with you. Train and aid the Jedi. Put aside your stubroness for now and learn all you can." Lu'Sen's voice came to them.
Jenny turned to Serenity. "What do you think Serenity?" Then she got a mischevious look on her face and backed up. "Shall we practice our skills with the light sabers." She activated hers and brought it up into a salute of sorts and took a fighting stance. "They said we should practice, yes?"

Re: All In The Game
Five people survived, inlcuding the baby she carried. Was that really her entire family left to date? She would have expected a dozen or so at least. She wondered if the Emperor had played a part in their deaths too. It was possible. Then they were departing again and Serenity stared at the darkened space they had occupied. Her mind was still deep in thought when Jenny backed up a few steps and activated her light saber. She wanted to practice with them.
Serenity activated hers, then turned to face Jenny full on. "Are you sure?" She asked carefully. Jenny nodded. "I mean, are you sure you want to just practice with these? Bearing in mind, one wrong move and you could lose your life." She looked around the hanger and spotted some long wrenches. Picking them up, Serenity found them to be lightweight and easily handled. "Let me show you." She said, turning off her blade. She hung it from her belt and then tossed the second wrench to Jenny.
Then, without warning, Serenity made a parry attack with the wrench. She didn't want to hurt the girl, merely show her that swinging a light saber, even with some skill, could be highly foolish. Serenity was far too quick despite Jenny's ability to anticipate her and before she could react, Serenity had landed the wrench at the side of her neck, her arm blocking Jenny's free side. "Ooops." She said, "You're dead." She took the wrench back and cocked her head at Jenny. "See what I mean?" She offered, "If I'd done that with a light saber, you'd have 2nd or 3rd degree burns and that would only be the beginning. If I'd put on even just an ounce of pressure, it would have cut into your neck and severed your corroted artery. You'd be dead before you'd hit the ground." Serenity put the wrench down and took out her light saber again. She activated it and held it up once more. "I remember when my Dad had to take Rahma to the medical centre on Port 5. It was about a month after he'd first given these to us. We'd been practicing in the junk yard and Rahma had tried to turn a parry on me. He hadn't got used to it properly yet, like you, and he ended up slicing his right hand off as he turned the blade over. It took the medics four hours to reattatch it and even now, he can't do certain things with it. Lucky for him, he's left handed."......

Re: All In The Game
Jenny frowned as Serenity bested her but she was not done yet. Light sabers might be a bit to dangerous to practice with so she went to one pf the old crates left there and with her light saber carved out two nice wooden swords. "These should do nicely. About the same size as a lightsaber and they are light. Again she took up a stance and then attacked, weaving the wooden sword before her as if now on some kind of pure instinct. As she reached Sereinity she jumped into the air and did a sumersault over Serenity and landed on her feet lightly behind her facing her back and ran the wooden sword across Serenity's back lightly. Then she backed up quicky awaiting for Serenity's next move.
She then realized what she had just done and said, "Whoa now where did that come from."
From the shadows Luke watched the two and smiled. Now that was a true move of a Jedi or a Sith. Serenity had knowledge and some experience with the light saber, but not against one that really knew how to use one. He dicided to just stand there and watch the two to see how they both fared.
(ahhhh make a good practice fight session between the two. LOL something like the one with Obiwan and the sith aprentice in Epoisode 2. They both can draw on Lu'Sen's and Magnus' abilities and knowledge.)

Re: All In The Game
Serenity felt the touch of the wood across her back and arched it in slightly to compensate. Jenny still had the strike however and the older woman would allow that without argument. "Well done." She offered, turning about quickly. So much for going easy on the girl, she thought. Taking her stance, Serenity dipped down slightly and held up her wooden 'sword'. "En guard." She ordered with a smile.
Pushing everything else out of her mind for the moment, including Luke; yes, she knew he was there; Serenity relaxed and smiled. Jenny came at her, but this time, Serenity simply side stepped and tucked her shoulder in. The wooden blade went flying past and Serenity grinned as she dropped her shoulder, turned, then slapped Jenny on the ass with it. However, knowing Jenny could anticipate her, Serenity moved again quickly and blocked another attack. She drew both blades down and then quickly turned them over. It slapped Jenny on the back of the hand, then Serenity moved back.....

Re: All In The Game
Jenny yelped as she was smacked on her ass by the sword then giggled and turned again to attack. Serenity was good but Jenny was learning. Serenity got in a couple good blows but so did she. The wooden swords flashed in the air between them, the sound of the wood hitting each other echoing through the hanger. As the two moved around each other the hits on each other got less and less as each anticipated each other's moves.
Jenny circled Serenity testing her new defense. "Looks like we are both getting the hang of this." Then she thought of what Luke had said. Both about the Sith Adept and about using what you could. Distraction, make your opponet think of something else before you strike. Keeping her attention on Serenity she saw the small box out of the corner of her eye and moved it up and at Serenity. Then she attacked. If she used the wooden sword to knock away the small box she would expose her self and her sword would stirke her midsection. If she ignored the box and blocked the sword, the box whould strike her legs and possibly knock her off her feet.

Re: All In The Game
"Indeed." Serenity replied calmly, "But you've still got a long way to go before you can beat me at this game." The woman grinned slyly and then watched as Jenny made for another attack. The sly little wench however, began to use her new found abilities and threw a box at her legs. Serenity had to think quickly. Have her legs taken out from under her, or leave herself exposed. Use the force, she had been told. Why not.
Lifting up her hand, Serenity turned her eyes quickly to the box, then back at Jenny. She had to be quicker than usual this time. Serenity leapt into the air and pushed her hand towards Jenny. A sudden blast of cold air shot for the girl, the attempt being to knock her down, as she jumped over the flying box...

Re: All In The Game
Jenny was pleased with the results of her little trick. She had made Serenity take her eyes off of her for a moment and also made her jump up as the box went sliding under her feet. Though it did not have the effect she wanted it gave her insight on what an opponet with the same powers might do. The blast of cold air hit her and that was a surpise for Jenny. It knocked her back and nearly off her feet, but it was like a memory more then anything, and she found herself stoping and righting her self as she again came on guard to meet Serenity's next attack.
Luke stood there watching, a slight smile upon his lips. He had been right. The memories of the jedi and sith were begining to emerge. They were learning quickly. At the rate they were going, he could forsee that they might be ready for the Sith Adept when he or she arrived.
"I think I am getting the hang of this. It is a strange feeling, almost like memories. Isn't that strange." she asked Serenity as she moved in to attack again.

Serenity blocked the attack from Jenny and then stepped back as the girl spoke. "Yes." She agreed, staring at her wooden sword for the moment. "It feels like I've done this before, only... it wasn't actually me doing it. It's weird." Then Serenity had the odd notion to close her eyes.
Taking another stance, Serenity dipped down slightly and lifted her blade. "One more go and then Ill make us some lunch." She offered, then actually closed her eyes. "Winner picks what we have." Then she stood there, poised and ready, eyes closed and shoulders relaxed. It was strange to look at and even stranger that she was doing it with what she would call a rather adept opponent too. Still, there was something telling her that she didn't need to see what Jenny would do. She didn't even have to feel it either. It was like she already knew exactly what was to happen and how. All she needed to do was react at the correct time and that was it......

Re: All In The Game
Jenny took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She calmed herself and reached out with the force to sence everything around her, even Luke standing in the shadows watching. Moves, stances, actions and reactions flooded into her mind. As she made her attack, even though she had never fought with a sword or light saber before, she knew the moves, counter moves, everything. The wooden swords clashed, again and again in a series of moves that seemed to flow as if it had been corragraphed, for a dance.
As Luke watched, he nodded. His training with Yoda had not taken that long, not like those that had been discovered long before him and trained. They had started off as young children and their "Masters" trained them in the ways of the force. It took years to learn what Serenity and Jenny were learning in just a short time. Because his father had been a Jedi he was able to learn quicker, because it had been bred into him and needed only to be brought forth. The child that Serenity carried would also be able to learn the ways of the force quickly. If only the Jedi of old had listened to their hearts, how different things might have been.
(Ah can you hear the music playing as the two spar)

((absolutely. perhaps moonlight sonata in 'A' major, or perhaps something with more of a tempo or more familiar? nessun dorma perhaps? lol))
Serenity played out the attacks in the same manner she had forseen them, well, felt them to be. She met each parry and thrust, laying out her own attacks intermittently as they moved around the hanger. The movement became more fluid, easy and smooth, almost like they were creating music together. Eventually however, the melody had to finish.
Parrying Jenny's final attack, Serenity turned on her heel, sliding her sword along Jenny's and then spun on the spot. The sword came round, tapped Jenny's shoulder firmly and then landed as neat as a razor under the girl's chin. At that point, Serenity finally opened her eyes again and smiled. She checked where the girl's sword was and smiled wider. She wouldn't be able to get a hit in from where they were stood. It appeared then that Serenity had won this match. "I guess I'm picking lunch." She offered.....

Re: All In The Game
As the two ended their duel, Luke came forward out of the shadow. "Well done, both of you. Perhaps the two of you will indeed be ready when the Sith apprentice arrives. Come and as you eat I will explain more of what has transpired and why you will be needed." He turned and lead the two back through the hanger, through some corridors to what looked to have been a dinning area for a large amount of people.
"You have your choice of food over there that you can prepare." he smiled. "As you prepare it I will explain the best I can." he moved over to a stone table and sat down on a stone bench. "When the war between the empire and rebels ended the new Republic was stretched and rocked with problems. Some star systems broke away form the New Republic and formed their own Federation of Worlds. The Empire now shrunk to what it is made an uneasy truce with the New Republic. It did not have the resources it once had to continue a war.
The New Republic, even though it had been with the help of the force that the empire had been defeated and the Emperor killed, decided it did not need a new Jedi Order. I was not allowed to seek out new recruits and train them. But I was allowed to go to the old Jedi Temple and learn all I could about its past and remove the data there and bring it here." He lifted a hand and a piece of fruit rose from a table and moved through the air to it. "In that vast store of knowledge I learned about the Sith. Another order, that could use the force but had turned to the darkside to become more powerful and let it rule them. The Sith and the Jedi warred long ago and the Jedi was able to win and force the Sith to stay out of the Old Republic."
The Emperor had been one of these Sith. He had managed to influence matters in the Old Republic and my father to become the Emperor and create the empire. Though he was a Sith Lord, he did not share his power with anyone, especially other Sith. For those many years that it took me to grow to manhood, he used his powers and the power of the empire to keep the other Sith away. For the last couple hundred years the Sith has bided their time and have come to see the Empire as the weakest of the three forces."
They have kept to themselves and their cluster of star systems all this time. Now they have again begun to make their move to expand their influence and rule over others. They have the ability as you do to cloud the minds of the weak and make them think what they want. If they get control of the Empire, then they will begin a war that will plunge it and the New Republic in to choas in which the others will come and begin to take control of world after world. Only those that can use the force will be able to stop them. That is where you come in."

Re: All In The Game
Serenity listened carefully as she gathered up what she wanted for lunch. Of course, it was up to Jenny to make it, she had lost the match after all. She made sure though to make it as easy and quick as possible and after only a few minutes, she and Jenny were sat at the same stone table with Luke.
The story he told was harrowing to say the least and Serenity could feel the sliver of ice moving down her spine as the old man recounted what had happened to the Republic and the Empire and what was happening now. Serenity had many questions, but she waited until he had finished his story first. The food suddenly felt uninviting again and Serenity quietly pushed her plate away. So many things began racing through her mind and Serenity found it hard to keep her tongue any longer.
"Old man." She began, then bit her lip and recounted it, "Luke. I understand that the Jedi and all that is important, but I still don't see why we've been dragged into it. In the beginning, it was about ancient artifacts that had been found on some distant planet. Then it became a weapon to help the rebels fight the Empire. In the beginning, we only got involved because of the money. We're pirates after all, so you can't expect anything less from us." Serenity sat back on the bench a little and scratched her forehead before continuing. "This was supposed to be a quick trip through the core to an ancient planet for some artifacts. And now, me and the Kid here like the last hope for the galaxy. I'm sure you can understand my confusion here. I mean, it's not like we're the pure hearted, goody-two-shoes types. And on top of that, the Emperor himself is after me." Krell didn't know she had found that out yet, but she would tell him eventually. "So asm much as I believe your story, it's got some major holes it right now." Serenity looked at her plate again briefly, then looked at Luke, waiting for his answers......

Re: All In The Game
Luke listened to Serenity and nodded. She reminded him so much of Hans, his old friend when they first met. He had been all about the money. He had a debt to pay and if he didn't he would become a hunted man. In the end it all worked out and Han had become a big part of the rebellion and had married his sister Liea. But there was more to the story.
"During the Rebellion, the emperor sent a former Jedi, my father, to destroy every single living Jedi there was. The Emperor, a Sith Lord, knew that should any Jedi live her or she would be a threat to him." he looked at Serenity, "The Sith know that the Jedi pose a threat to their take over of this galaxy. They have sought out any that have exibited any sign of being able to use the force and have eliminated them. Do you think your parents were killed randomly. The Sith have been here for some time and have been influencing not only the emperor."
He looked over at Jenny. Her parents had not been found. The one that carried the genes and the force had laid dormant until Jenny. By then they had been rescued by Krell and his crew and taken to The Santuary. "You two are the only ones that stand in their way now. It would take years to train others, that do not have the ancestry that you do." he then thought of what she had said about at first they had been just looking for an ancient planet and weapons to defeat the empire. Stray thoughts about the mission......................he suddenly looked at Serenity with wide eyes.
"The Teachers! You have found their world?" With the vast store of knowledge of the Jedi, their history and everything, the whereabouts of the Teacher was never known. They had vanished long ago. They had created the Sith and the Jedi, in hopes of defeating in the end an enemy that only thought to conqure and enslave. What had happen to them no one knew. When the Teachers disapeared so had the nameless enemy they had fought.

Re: All In The Game
Serenity blinked dumbly for a minute. Who were the Teachers? Then, after a few seconds, things started to fall into place. "Krell and the Professor think they've found it." She replied carefully. "It was a planet from a twin system. The system itself was destroyed, which is now the asteroid field and Haven. These ancients, or Teachers as you call them were able to move the last planet away from the destruction. Well, according to the Professor anyways. He's been going over the artifacts on some of the outer rim planets and he found out that this missing planet could be somewhere on the other side of the Core. That's what we were out to find when you got in touch." Reaching back, Serenity took out her light sabre and rolled it across the table. "I was dragged into it all because of this... and my ever much the asshole Uncle. It has the same markings as the artifacts that were found. My twin, Rahma, had the second one, which now belongs to Jenny. The writings on that are identical to the writings that the Professor found."
Watching Luke look over the heirloom, Serenity took a moment to consider his words over her parents. Her mother had died of a fever and her father had been killed in a barfight her Uncle had started. How the Sith could have been involved in that, she wasn't sure. After that, she continued. "As far as I know, that sabre is as old as the artifacts the Professor was looking over and the stuff he's told me about it and the people behind it, it kinda figures that everything works in tandum. This supposed weapon works with a twin system. The people were from a twin system. Everything they did and were came in twos. From what I know from my Uncle and the Professor, these two sabres are the last of their ilk and the oldest working models there is." She almost smiled at the thought of owning something as old and precious as that, but thought better of it. "My Dad used to tell me they had once belonged to royals of some kind and they had given them away or summats to that note. Since then, they've been passed down my family up to me and Rahma. They had been Mum's before she died. She'd been a twin too I think. She died when we was both real young, so I don't remember much. One of your ghosties though, looks a hell of a lot like her. That's weird enough. Most folk where I come from: When they's dead, they tend to stay dead, ya know?".......

Re: All In The Game
Luke took the light saber and examined it and its markings. There were such markings in the archives, reminents of the Teachers writings, but no one really knew what they ment. When she mentioned his ghosties, he looked up at her. "What are you talking about. The only "ghost" as you call him is Obiwan." He looked around the hanger his hand going to his light saber.
He stood and looked around the hanger. "Twins, sounds about right. My sister and I are twins. So your idea carries some weight. Two worlds, sets of twins, the Sith and Jedi." Walking around the table. "Tell me more of these "ghosts". You said one of them looked alot like your mother." He reached out with the force searching and then felt the presence. Looking back at Serenity. "So you have seen and talk to those you came from. It might be interesting to find out what really happened to them. No one really knows."
With another glance in the direction that he felt the two, he turned back to Serenity. "If this professor and your......... Krell have truely found the world of the Teachers, we can not let the Sith find them or find out they have. Quickly, we must leave here and join back up with them." Luke doubted that the Teachers would still be alive after all these milluems but their knowledge and what ever technology they had could be used by the Sith to outright take control of the galaxy.

Serenity stood up from the table and gave Luke a half assed grin. "I'll have that back, if you don't mind." She said, holding her hand out for her light sabre. Once returned, she moved away from the table. "You're right. We should get back to them. Without us, they definitely wouldn't be able to handle any Sith." She then left Luke and Jenny and returned to her quarters.
Alone and silent, Serenity sat down to think over a few things. So much had happened over the last weeks that she felt her world was spinning out of control. Not that she had much control over her life anyways, but the ideal had still be nice. Taking out her data pad, Serenity set it to send and then began recording a message. It would take only a few hours to get to Krell, so at least they would have a heads-up before she got back.
"Krell." she began, "Before I say anything, keep this transmission on the down-low. We're heading back to you guys and something important has come up. Everything you were told about the Jedi was true. There's an old boy here called Luke Skywalker, I'm bringing him back with us. His information will be priceless to your professor. But there's something else. He told us about another sect called the Sith. And they know about us. They know the Jedi are still alive and they're hunting us down. It wouldn't surprise me if they're already on your heels, so tread very carefully. If anything looks, sounds, or feels out of place, back off. They won't take prisoners and they have no mercy. Tell the professor to hide the artifacts. If the Sith get their hands on them, it's game over. Now, we should be back in a day or two and I'd prefer it if I found you lot still breathing." Serenity hit the transmit button and then quickly packed away her belongings.
Meeting Jenny and Luke back in the hanger, she nodded to them both. "Ready to go, I hope." She told them both.......

Re: All In The Game
Krell with the Raven and the Phoenix kept on course for where the world of this ancient race was suppose to have been moved to. He did his best to keep busy and his mind off of Serenity, but that was always difficult. Even though it was just a short time, he missed her being there. The professor was becoming more excited as they drew closer. He was constantly after Krell to move in faster, but Krell was no fool. They were in the New Republic territory and he was not about to be anouncing that two strange warships were out there prowling around.
When he got Serenity's message he went to the bridge and had a long range scan of the area they had just passed made. Nothing showed up but that did not satisfy him. "Keep scaning and also in all directions. We might be having company that is going to be a real pain. He contacted the Phoenix, "Mac got a message from Serenity. Be ready for unexpected company."
Luke climbed aboard his X wing fighter. His R2D2 droid floating up and into his nitch behind the canopy. "The Sith will be here soon, hopefully we will reach your friends before they know that we are gone." he radioed Serenity.

Mac got the message loud and clear and quickly ordered scans of every inch of space that could be scanned. He acted almost paranoid about it, never once letting up. The scans kept coming back with nothing, but Mac knew better than to simply take the results and leave it. He wasn't that easily fooled.
Serenity boarded the Jezzabel with Jenny and quickly fired the old bird up. "Let's hope that's what happens." She radioed back, "And lets hope we get to Krell before they do." She turned her head over her shoulder to Jenny. "Firing the ion drive in five... four... thre... two... one." A bright flash of light and a mushroom of smoke and the Jezzabel shot out of the hanger......

Re: All In The Game
"Approaching the corridnates Captain." his pilot reported. On the view screen, there was nothing but empty space and the sparkle of the stars everywhere. "Nothing on scans Captain. Just empty space." Krell turned to the Professor that was standing next to his command chair.
"It is there. Just cloaked." the professor said. If it was cloaked, it had to be one huge, mother of a cloaking device. To be able to cloak and entire planet was something else, not to mention the power requirement for something like that. He took out a small device that had the strange ancient writing on it. He placed it on one of engineering station computer terminal and activated it. It immediately opened and sent several tiny metal shards into the metal of the consol followed by thin wires. Soon from one of the scanners a beam of green light flashed forward into the darkness of space and what appeared to be a ripple appeared in the distance. "Head for that. That will be our point of entry." the professor said with excitement.
The trip back to the two warships was not as long as Serenity had thought it would be. A day in hyperdrive brought them to the corridinates Krell had sent back to Serenity over their secure line. "Imppressive looking ships. Wouldn't stand up to a star destroyer but now days they probably could take on anything." Luke told Serenity over the radio.
"Two ships incoming sir." came the security chief's voice from his station. "It is the Jezzabell and a small one man fighter, a very old style fighter."
Mac looked at the ships approaching with a smile on his lips. "Open the cargo bay to receive the Jessabel and the shuttle bay doors for the fighter." then he called Serenity, "Welcome home Serenity."

Re: All In The Game
It was soo good to be home! Serenity beamed with a smile as she watched the Pheonix's bay doors open in ready for them. Then Ma'c s voice over the comm was even better. "Welcome home Serenity." he had said.
"You'd better believe it!! She replied back, just as happily as she maneuvered the Jezzabel into her docking handles. The bay doors closed again and Serenity almost leapt from her seat, eager to see her family again.
Staying just long enough for Luke to get his fighter stowed away, Serenity hot footed it to the bridge and before anything, she went to mac and threw her arms about him. "Gods, I've missed you!" She grunted, hugging her old friend tightly. Slyder got much the same treatment, as did Rat, but the one person she wanted to see the most right now was Krell.
"We got your communique." Mac told her, "Krell sent over the details, but so far, we haven't found anything yet. The professor has found a way into the cloaking device for the planet and we should be in reach in a few hours."
"Excellent!" Serenity chimed, "Now where's my lover? I have some new for him."
Mac blinked a little dumbly, then nodded to the communications officer. "Get Krell over here, would you please? Pronto?"
"Yes Sir." The boy replied......

Re: All In The Game
Krell took a shuttle over to the Phoenix as soon as they had spotted the Jezzabel and she was docking. It was not long after the X wing docked that Krell pulled the shuttle into the bay. He had missed Serenity in the cargo hold and made his way up to the bridge. He stood there in the entrance to the bridge as she finished hugging her frineds and asked where here lover was.
"No need for that Mac." Krell said with a lopsided grin. "Think I going to wait for an invite." he chuckled and strode to Serenity and took her into his arms infront of everyone on the bridge. "Damn woman, I missed you." he said softly.
Luke had followed Krell up to the bridge. There was something about the man that made him grin. As Krell took Serenity into his arms, Luke just smiled and shook his head. Then it hit him, Krell reminded him of his old frined Hans. He moved forward, the bridge becoming quiet as he moved towards Serenity and Krell.

Serenity spun on her heel and quickly leapt at her lover. "I missed you too." She breathed, then kissed him deeply, not caring who saw it. Then it all went quiet as Luke entered the bridge. Serenity found her self control again and coughed into her hand as she moved back from Krell. "Everyone." She said clearly, "This is Luke Skywalker. Master Jedi." The gasps and following silence was expected and Serenity knew it wouldn't take long for the professor to find out. She turned to Mac. "Would you get him set up in some quarters please old friend?2 She asked, "And a charging unit for his droid."
"Droid?" Mac asked.
Serenity smiled, "Yes. He has an old R Unit."
From across the bridge, Serenity spotted Rat stand up sharply. "I'll get it!2 he pipped with excitement, "I've always wanted to see a R Unit in working order!"
"Fair enough Rat." She replied, then smiled to Luke. "Rat here will take care of all you need." She told the old man. "Make yourself at home."......
