Lizabeth remained with the king watching waiting to see what was going to happen. She knew that this would be her chance to prove herself to her new father in law. She knew Takeda had said that she didnt need to but Lizabeth was still unsure. She still felt that she needed to prove that she wasnt weak, that she was worthy of his son and coulxd protect the kingdom when Takeda was away. She silently prayed for the safty of her dear Takeda, and their homeland.

Takeda meets with the leaders of the chinesse army and Karai. Takeda smiles at the emperor and says, "I offer you an deal why kill hundereds and hundereds of men." The emperor was nodding and so was Karai. Takeda continues and says, "How about me v.s. your best fighter and I will fight them to the death winner takes all." The emperor smiles and says, "Deal." Then they returned to the boat to discuss who would fight the Legendary Takeda.

Lizabeth turned to the King. "Sire what do you think is happening?" She wanted to run to where he was but he had told her to stay behind so staybehind she did. Ready to defend the castle and the people with in it. But she still wished she could tell if Takeda was safe. She loved him and she knew he loved her.

The king smiles and says, "I don't know but I would bet he already has them on the retreat." He smiles and wraps his arm around Lizabeth and her sister giving them both an big hug.

On the battle field Takdea was putting on his armor and then grabed his swords and waited to see who his opponet was. Takeda was egar to fight his opponet and end this within the day.

On the Chinesse warships Karai and the Chinesse leaders. Karai was demanding that he be made the warrior that fights Takeda. The leaders where not so sure about this. But Karai was detremand to fight Takeda again.

Lizabeth nodded. She needed to learn to have more trust in Takeda, for this would be the norm, she did trust him of course but she also loved him so much she didnt want to lose him but she knew that he was his job to protect her and the castle and the people so he would have to be gone much of the time.

As he pulled her into a hug she froze a moment she wasnt used to such displays of effection but soon she was snuggled into his side smiling up at him. "Thank you your Majesty, I do like hugs" She smiled and kept her eyes looking for any signs of danger.

Takdea's father looks at the bow in Lizabeth's hand. He reaches over with his massive arms and lifted it up out of Lizabeth's hand. "I heard what my son said but there is no need for this. If danger some how makes it by my son there are many samurai here to protect the royal family." He gives he an big smile and then says, "Now after hearing this information if you still want the bow I will not keep it from you but I will help you even more if the bow is your weapon of choice.

While on the battlefeild Takeda watched as the chinesse warships lined up across the beach and an massive army accompanied an champion but they were to far off to tell who it was. Takeda grabed his weapons and whipped them out spinning the blades.

Lizabeth was grateful for his massive hands lowering her arms carring the bow. She stared up at him. "I just wanted to make sure I am not seen as weak" She paused and Her sister too innocent to understand not to say anthing looked up at the king. "Our uncle used to beat Lizzy for being weak" Lizabeth shot her a look but she just shrugged. "Lizzy you know its true" Lizabeth kept her head down to advoid eyecontact with the king. Takeda knew that her uncle was mean and evil but she had never told him how extreme it got.

The King almost crying takes the girls into his arms. "That won't happen to any of you here I don't care if you couldn't lift an feather you will be treated like the beautiful girls you are." He started to smile some but was still an little upset and refused to let go of them for an while.

Takeda was walked into the cricle where he saw an huge man who was not Karai but the champion that killed him before coming to fight Takeda. And he proudly wore Karai's head on his belt like an trophie. Takeda squares off with this obviously great fighter."

Lizabeth relaxed. "I will try to remember that" She grinned. "I like the sounds of that" She looked up at him and smiled again. "You really do like have girls around here dont you?" She had finally fully released the bow and arrow and it laid at her feet. Her sister stared at her smiling too, she knew her sister had been the tough one for such a long time and now it was time for her to lean on someone else, it would be good for her sister to be able to be a girl again and let others protect her.

Finally the king lets them go. "Of course I have enjoyed adding you to inot my family and considering you to be daughters of my own." He kisses them both on the head and then picks up Lizabeth's bow. "If you are going to use an bow and arrow don't use this peice of crap Takeda hardly ever uses." He walks into the castle and returns with an huge bow that stood 7 feet tall. "This is an yumi bow a lot more accurate and can shoot an lot further." He places it in Lizabeth's hand.

On the beach the battle begins. Takeda held his dual katana's his new opponet held Karai's old konoboi and an huge buster blade in the other hand. Takeda circled and then out of no where the chinesse champion starts swinging wildly and even the people around the fight moved back as Takeda dodged the mighty blades with flips and ducks.

Lizabeth grinned as the king spoke then kissed her head. She was grateful that his son had gone wray way of his gaurds but in case that Takeda hadnt let that little fact out she didnt dare. Instead she just smiled and enjoyed the hug, and remembered times when her father was still alive.

As he took the bow she eyed him carefully. She didnt know what to expect as he came out again holding something that was nearly double her size. "How, How how am I suppose to hold that?" She asked stammering over her words

The king just lifted up the bow and says, "You hold it in the air like this and load your bow and fire it off it at your target." He smiles and places the bow into Lizabeths hand. Then wistles and watches as his and Lizabeth's horse come to the stairs. "Come on that white smoke means an dual for it all and I am postive our champion is your husband." He leaps on his horse and then pulls Lizabeth on top of her horse. And take off to the beach. "Takeda noticed his father and Lizabeth coming up and his opponet was actually really good. He was keeping Takeda on his toes and forcing him to keep dodging back and fourth.

Lizabeth followed instructions she still wasn’t sure how she would be able to do it, the thing was huge but in time she was sure that she would learn it, she would have to of course. It would be her job to so she would make it a personal mission to learn it. As he whisteed and her horse came forward she was momentairly confused she was abut to ask where they were going when he ansered her question. Momentaily she had a moment of fear on her face, her husband being the champaion? But once untop of her horse she composed herself and nodded to the king. She looked strong and steady on the horse and rode with him. She noticed Takeda but kept herself still and simple smiled to Takeda she didn’t want to distract him , for if he died she would be distroyed inside.

Takeda's head gaurd turns aroudn and says, "Your majesty they have been at it for almost two hours and all that had happened is that they are both starting to tire out." Takeda dodges another blow form the buster blade and crossed his katana's to block the incoming konoboi that almost knocked him off his feet until he turned an back flip and caught his balance both men just looked at each other with furry in their eyes and exagustion on their breaths. The emperor steps in and says how about an break for the champions. How does an hour sound." Takeda nodds his head and backs away from his opponet into his accompaning mens arms. He laughs and says, "Get the Phenix Talon." One man runs away and returns with an huge banryuu. Takeda smiles at Lizabeth. "Father I told her to stay home for an reason." He glares at his smiling father who just says, "Oh shut up and enjoy your wife's company."

Lizabeth watched the two men, she could see the wearniess in both of them she listened to the head gaurd and turned to the King to see what he would do. She was grateful when he orded a break. She knew that her sweet Takeda was exhausted and if this fight was to the death it better not be him.

As Takeda came up to her and chatised his father Lizabth dismounted and walked to her husband she embraced him and kissed him long and hard on the lips she was still shy and unsure of herself but she softly pused in her tongue into his mouth and stoked his face hoping that she could regenerzied him.

Takeda smiles and says, "What was that for. I appreciate it but I won't need an good-bye kiss right now." He lifts the huge blade on his shoulder. "You think one of you guys could go get the other talon." One man comes back with another banryuu. He wants to play the big boy game well then let him tates the legendary birds talons." He smiles and says, "This won't take long love." He kisses her back and walks back to the circle. With both of the massive banryuu's on his shoulders pointing backwards.

Lizabeth wanted to tell him that it was of course not a good bye kiss but more of a good luck kiss, the type she had seen wives give other warriors. As he waled back to the circle she turned to his father with a tear in her eye "I dont understand many of your customs, my customs have a lady givingtheir warrior a good luck kiss, here its seen as a good bye kiss" She shook her head. "Other customs I am grateful are different but some I am not going to understand I fear, how am I going to make him happy if I do things wrong?"

The king smiles and says, "Pay him no mind he knows what that kiss meant he is just being his usual smart ass." He wrapped his arms around her for and pulled her to his side. "He will be fine do not worry about him." He smiles and strokes the back of her head and says, "Watch this. The fact that he has pulled out the phenix talons means he is through playing and is going to end this fight." Takeda smiles as his opponet comes out with his giant sword an Karai's konoboi. He drops each tip of the banryuu's in the ground as if he would have an hard time lifting them. The man saw this and came after Takeda in a rage swinging his blades widly. Takeda lifted up his blades chopping both of his weapons in half and then chopped the chinesse champion in half.

Lizabeth nodded "Okay well like I said some things are going to take getting used to" She smiled as he pulled her close. She wanted to look away fearing for Takeda's life but she found herself unable to look away either. "Sir, he is my husband I fear that I will always worry about him, isnt that what a wife does, worry and hope for their husbands safe return from battle?" She asked before he drew her attention back to the battle. From the sounds of it the king sounded like he excepted it to end fairly soon

Lizabeth gasped and burried her face into the side of the king as the man was chopped in half, clearly she wasnt used to such violence and although she felt faint she willed herself not to faint. She still felt as if she had to be strong to prove to everyone that she was strong and not weak.

Takeda raised his banryuu in his left hand the one that had slayin the champion he points it at the emperor take you men and leave an deal is an deal and if I beat your champion this easy with these think how fast I would run through your army with my men behind me cleaning up on the carnage I leave behind." He lowers his weapon and walks away placing both weapons on his back and walks over to Lizabeth and wraps his arm around Lizabeth and walks away with her and his father. "I didn't wish for her to see that." He says to his father his voice low but submisve. "But I guess it is something she need to see any ways." He kissed her cheek and saddled on to his horse as he watched the chinesse army leave.

Lizabeth watched the Chinese army leave and then lifted her head even higher as Takeda came to her. She greated him with a smile though she was shaken up a little by what she saw she was grateful that he came through unscathed. She knew he would but she was still very grateful. When he wrapped an arm around her she grinned but it turned to a frown when he spoke to his father. "Takeda do not blame your father, you are right I know I have to get used to it, war is a part of life here right?" She blushed slightly as he kissed her infront of his father. But she gratefully mounted her horse and stuck close to him and his father. She turned to watch the Chineese army leave. "Will they be back Takeda?"

Takeda smiles and says, "Yeah probaly tomorrow." He laughs at his father and says, "I have to correct you love. Yes we do fight with other countires very often but this land is not about war. War is what is used to ensure the peace amongst my people." Takeda takes Lizabeths hand. "Thay will be our job some day." He kisses her hand as the ride back to the castle.

Lizabeth chewed her bottom lip. "Tommrow??" She didnt like the sounds of that she wanted them to be safe and to be able to enjoy their wedding, and then their honeymoon, how could they enjoy it when they could get attacked at anytime?

Lizabeth nodded to Takeda "Well with you I am sure we can do a great job serving your people"

Takeda smiles and says, "So many men have forgotten that is what an king is suppose to do serve his people." He kisses her but my parents didn't forget that I won't and neither will our childern." He pulls her closer to him as they rode back to the castle.

Lizabeth smiled to Takeda and then to his father. "Well it was clear to me that you have not forgotten" She blushed greatly as he mentioned children then turned her face away from his father. It was clear that she was a bit embarrassed about having talk about them having children in from of his father. As they rode on she contined to blush "How can you talk of such things infront of your father??" She harshly whispered.
