Hercules was still eating and grunting pushing the plate around the kitchen. Jessica giggled as Angel spun around and expressed his love for her. She thenl licked her lips as he started to walk with her. She felt oddly like a rag doll but didnt complain. When he sat down she sat down beside him and cuddled into him and closed her eyes relaxed.

Angel drink his drink in one hand and the other hand around Jessica. He kisses her forehead and continues to watch the TV. He here Hercules finish off the bowl and knew it would only be a matter of time before the dog made his way to them. But angel was ready for that. When Hercules came around the corner Angel throws a dog toy and Hercules goes crazy chasing it.

Laying with Angel everything seemed prefect, longwas forgotten her years of abuse, her broken body, the fact that she had almost died before Angel saved her. She remembered the pain in the hospital and wondered why she had no lasting effects. She figured she would at least have panic attacks but it seemed as if she had nothing.

When Hercules came back Jessica jumped up suddenly having had fallen asleep but when it seemed like he was entertained she leaned back and closed her eyes. "Hmmmm" She said softly breathing in his secent.

Angel smiles as she smiled him and says, "You should stay down your very tired and in need of a lot of sleep." He smiles as he kisses her forehead and strokes her hair. He looks up at the TV and says, "Your safe I won't leave your side."

Jessica was about to argue with him to let him know that sleep wasnt what she wanted, that she wanted him and she wanted him bad. But suddenly she realized that she was right. She nodded and laid her head back down and yawned and then fell back asleep in his arms.

Angel held her tightly as he kept her as close as possiable. He smiles as he continues to watch the TV and hold her as close as possiable. He smiles as the dog continued to play with the toy. He kisses Jessica's forehead and takes a sip of his drink.

Although she was sleeping she was vaugly aware of things going on around her she sighed in her sleep and snuggled deeper into his arms, She felt completly safe in his arms. She smiled in her sleep as he kissed her forheead, even deeply asleep she was worried about him feeling bored since all she was doing was sleeping.

Angel just softley stroked her hair and watched the TV. As he flips the channles he comes arcoss the news. He mutes the tv and watches the subtitles as they talked about how a very popular gang was rising up and their were talks of riots and uprisings until they got the blood they wanted.

Although she was asleep she could feel Angel stroking her hair and she smiled and sighed snuggling into his strong arms more. She was happy with Angel, but even his strong arms couldnt keep away the dreams. Herbert was at the door knocking and demanding her, he had now entered the house with a gun, he shot angel then began to beat her again.

She woke up with and start her body shaking and she swallowed hard turned and looked at Angel, her eyes wide with fear her heart beating quickly. Finally she calmed her self down and laid back down holding on to his arm as if it was a life preserver and she was in the ocean drowning.

Angel didn'teven flinch as Jessica awoke in such a startle. He looks down and says its just a nightmare you are safe. He instantly changed the channel to some cooking channel as she looked at him he leans over and kisses her forehead. He then uses his arm to pick up Jessica and pull her into his lap. As he wraps his arms around her it took next to no effort to do this she was so small but angel loved it. He looks at the TV and says, "Here watch this it will settle you down after we watch it we can make it."

Hearing his words Jessica sighed and nodded and found herself relaxing she nodded. "I know I am sorry" She said and snuggled into his chest. She giggled as he picked her up and pulled her into his lap. "You do that too easily" She complained then smiled and leaned into him.

Shaking his head at the tv she turned to him and kissed on the neck and collor bone softly bitting his neck. "Id much rather do this" She whispered into his ear.

Angel smiks some and says, "Jessica you know I love you but I my mother was only murdered two days ago and I have yet to avenger her." He takes her hands and says, "I love you. You and that damn puppy are all I got left but I can't take the time to be fully relaxed till I know that you are one-hundred percent safe my love." He looks at her and says, "I am sorry that I have to be like this but it must be this way until I ensure your saftey." He kisses her deeply and holds her tightly and says, "When I can hold you like this with out looking over my shoulder I will make the sweetest love to you and you can hold your breath on that i have full entent on putting these men to rest before this week is over." He smiles widly and kisses her again and says, "Please don't be upset with me my dear."

Immeditally Jessica felt guilty. "I am sorry Angel" She nuzzled his neck. "I was just scared" She blushed at the sound of his promise "Well that is diffently something to look foward too" She kissed him back then sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I love you" She said and then looked up at him "Upset with you? Never! I just feel guilty so it is I that am worried that you are upset with me" She then tuned her attention to the TV. "Hmmm I could try to make that, but I dont know if we can affored a trip to the ER right now" She said jokiling about the meal they were making on the tv.

Angel smiles at her joke and kisses her forehead. "I can make it my love and their is no way in hell that I could be upset with you." He pulls her closer and says, "Do not feel guilty for if I knew this would happen I would still have saved you a million times that day and not thought twice about it." He kisses her forehead and looks at the TV you don't want that crap I have other food I can make for you that will make you feel like heaven on earth." He smiles and holds her tight.

Hearing Angel laugh made Jessica smile. Then she turned to him as he spoke. "I do know how to cook, I had to cook all the time...." She paused "Back at the other house"

When he told her not to feel guilty her body turned rigid she nodded but she still felt guitly, if she hadnt been behind that day, if she had just let Herbert kill her, Angel would still have his mom and he wouldnt have to go back to a life of crime.

She allowed him to hold her tight and she leaned her head into the crook of his neck and she closed her eyes allowing him to relax her.

Angel smiles as she nuzzles into his neck. He smiles and kisses her cheek as she snuggled into him. He loved her touch. The feel of her on his neck. Made him feel like their was no other place to be on earth. He just held hear as tight as he could without hurting her. He didn't want to squeeze to hard. His large arm was like half of her body. But he enjoyed every second of holding her like that. He kisses her forehead and relaxs with her in his arms.

Jessica blushed as he kissed her cheek. She wasnt sure why he was still able to make her blush but she liked it. She loved to touch him. She knew that she had come a far and it was because of Angel that she had made it, not only had he saved her from Herbert he saved her from herself as well.

She sighed and relaxed even further with him. She kept her eyes closed and just allowed him to hold her.

Angel held Jessica until the show went off. He then sits up and lifts Jessica up as he stands up off the couch and walks into the kitchen. He sits Jessica on the counter and as he turns to the fridge and starts to pull out ingerdiants for a nice meal to make Jessica. He would glance over at her as she sat on the counter. He would wink at her and stick his tounge out at her as he put stuff on the counter and walk by her.

Jessica only half watched the rest of the show, she was too relaxed in his arms when he picked her up she yelped and giggled as he lifted her up. "Either you are really strong or I am really light" She allowed herself to be sat on the counter and then watched as he began to cook

When he would stick his tongue out she would raise an eyebrow and then do it back with a giggle. "Hmmm that smells lovely"

Angel turns around after moving the food of the fire and without giving a sign or giving Jessica or enough time to react. He wraps his arms around Jessica and kisses her deeply. When he finally breaks the kiss he looks at her and says, "Nothing I can make will ever be as lovely as you. "He kisses her lightly and turns back to the food.

Jessica was too busy staring at Angel and smelling the food that she didnt except Angel to suddenly grap her and then kiss her she returned to kiss though and wrapped her arms around his neck with a smile when he broke it her lips were swollen and puckered. "Mmmm" She said softly.

She blushed a deep red when he made his comment. "I tend to disagree, but I will let you think that you won" She said wth a wink and then when he turned his back she stuck out her tongue.

Angel glimesed at her as she stuck her tounge out at him. He continued to cook and as he finished the food he kissed her lightly and began to plate the food. He looks at Jessica and says, "Would you like to get out the drinks." He winks at her as he started to take the plates to the table.

Her stomach growled loudly as he cooked. Her mouth began to water in excitment over the food that he was making for her. She kissed him back as he kissed her and then nodded. "Aright" She jumped down and got two glasses and filled them with milk then brought it to the table.

She was never allowed milk before so now that she was with Angel she wanted to drink lots.

Angel smiled as he saw her grab the milk. He looks at her and says, "Do you like milk." He looks at her with a huge smile and says, "Well this isn't the type of meal you have milk with. He takes the glasses and says, "We will have water with the meal and milke with the dessert." He smiles and kisses her forhead as he gets some water.

Jessica was a little dissapointed when he took away her milk. "Why do we just have water?" She asked innocently. But then she shrugged and smiled as he kissed her. He would know the proper beverage to go with the meal.

Then it hit her. "Dessert?" She asked surprised. "What is for dessert?"
