Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
The Heart of the Hulk
The heavily crowed streets of hive Sibellus under hive on the Scintilla was a dangerous place for the inexperienced, luckily for Silvanus he was not inexperienced. It been almost a years since he began in the service of Inquisitor Vaarak, he had been on a small investigation mission of the past days now but what was to come was something he could never prepared for. The crowed did suddenly spread out as a group of soldiers wearing full suit of black carapace armour with a capital ‘I’ with a skull in the middle of it in a crimson colour, this was the rosette of the Inquisition and all feared the agents working under them. These soldiers were storm troopers of the inquisition, as they approached him a man dressed in the traditional long coat uniform of the Imperial Navy stepped forward. “Sir you are called. You are to come with us at once.” Silvanus knew better then to question the will of the Inquisition so he quickly followed them to one of the many space port of the hive were a naval transfer lander were waiting along with another group of storm troopers and a some people that he recognize from some were before.
((Okay to put this simple you are the other people that are by the lander, your characters have all been gathered in the same way as Silvanus and you also have all meet one before when you got the employment from Inquisitor Vaarak who is kind a like our master or employer.))

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Nickodemus had been contracted to kill a man on Scintilla. As usually he booked passage on a cargo ship to the planet. The man he was to kill was one of the more promanent members of the planet's ruleing council. He had been a pain in the side of certain factions of the council and they wanted him out of the way. But he had eyes and ears in many places like the Officio Assassinorum. If any one requested a contract through them he would know. So they turned to the only one that could do the job and was not part of that particular branch of the Inquisition.
He had received the needed documents to be able to enter the secure buildings he needed to go to. Once there he discretely observed the routine of his target. Places he went, the way he went, who was with him and any security he might have. The man seemed to think he was untouchable, for Nickodemus saw no security. He found the right place and the right time that he would end his targets life. The man would be found dead a small needle puncture wound at the base of the skull. The credits he got for the job had already been banked and transfered to yet another bank by his middle man who took his percentage.
As he was preparing to enter the space port to take a ship off world a squad of Storm Troopers of the Inquisition approached with a man dressed in a long coat uniform of the Imperial Navy. "Sir you are called. You are to come with us at once." Nickodemus frowned. No one knew who he was, except perhaps one man. One that someone wanted assassinated but that he had declined after seeing who it was and thought the contract to dangerous to take. He discretely had informed the man of the contract and those that had put it out were never seen again. He knew better then to try and fight the so called Call and went with the man and his storm troopers.
He was taken to a naval transfer lander where several people and more storm troopers were. He recgonized a couple of the people. People that had worked for Vaarak. He had met them when he was researching the contract on the man. He wondered what Inquisitor Vaarak wanted of him.

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
She was just out in the town on a normal day, she had some errands to run. Life had seemed a little simple now, not much going on since she had left her hometown. There were so many places to go and see but she fell under the pressure and got involved with a man named Vaarak.
The streets were filled with people all over the place but it still seemed to be in order. Skye wandered about the streets trying to figure out which errand she was going to take care of first. Skye looked up from her piece of paper to see a pretty large group of Storm Troopers walking down the middle of the street, forcing others to jump to the sides. Sky stood there just watching them as they walked up to her "Miss you are called. You are to come with us at once" the told her. She looked at them, they couldn't be serious. She sighed and followed them anyways. To disregard when you are called would be a death wish.
Skye followed them to a transfer lander. As she looked around there were several people that she recognized but no names that she could place to their faces. She wondered why they were all being gathered here.
ooc: sorry that i've taken so long. And i'm sorry if it's a little...not what you were expecting. I'm still trying to get a handle on this one.

They were quickly herded in to the transfer lander with firm but not aggressive directions. The heavy door closed after them when the Imperial officers took there seats in the passenger compartment. The craft started to shake heavily as the craft lifted from the ground in a almost vertical direction. One of the officers looked upon their passengers puzzled faces and felt that he could at least give them some knowledge on what was going on. "We have orders to bring you to the Mangus Ecthelion, high in orbit. I am not authorised to only that it must be done with out delay by order of the Inquisition." As he finished speaking could one see the massive bulkhead of an Imperial Dominator class cruiser, the Mangus Ecthelion. The ship of the line was an impressive sight armed with a massive series of laser canon batteries that stretch more than half the span of its hull both port and starboard. The prow of the ship had been shaped to resemble a magnificent armoured warrior with its raised sword formed in the the barrel of the massive nova cannon. the lander touch down smoothly in in the vast hangar bay of this beast. One of the officers said to follow him as he led them down a series of corridors passed armoured naval guards that looked like they were preparing for an engagement. They were final lead in to a large and lavishly ready with a large table in the middle with chair around it, on the table were some refreshments. "The Captain will make his presence felt shortly." said their guide before he left the room. Silvanus coughed in a metallic tone though his cybernetic respirator that that covered half his face while he was taking a seat at the table. "Do some of you know what this errant may involve, it is not usual for Vaarak to pull me out from an assignment." his voice was cold an metallic just like his grey eye that could be stooped from time to time under his red hood.

Nickodemous followed the other on board the transport and took a seat, setting his bag down on the floor between his feet, as it lifted off. The trip to the huge cruiser did not take long. One of the officers explained where they were going but not why. He probably didn't know himself. He probably only knew that he was to round up certain people he had been given discriptions of and bring them to the ship. Typical Inquisition standard operating procedure. Keep everyone in the dark about everything unless it was absolutely necessary.
When they finally docked with in the belly of the massive war ship, he stood up and again followed everyone to the Ready Room. He walked along the table and picked up a couple pieces of fresh fruit and took a bite of one of them as one of those that had been picked up aksed if any knew what was going on. The one talking was evidently a Tech Priest, by his implants, clothes and attitude. The others he could not tell right of the cuff.
"What ever it is, it must be damn important." The only reason Nickodemus could think of that he was there was that Vaarak wanted someone important dead. He was after all an independent assassin and off the radar of the Temples. When he killed, he left his calling card, a single black feather pined to the victims clothing. Then it was known who had been the assassin. But if it was to kill a man why all the others, what roles did they have to play in it? He moved to a cornner of the room and placed his back to the wall, watching the others and the door.

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Skye kept to herself as they were loaded onto the lander. She didn't care much for the close quarters. She hadn't had to use her mental blocks in a long time and she was a bit rusty. Being so close to all these people she was getting over whelmed. So she just sat there staring out into space. She vaguely listened to the officer about where they were going but he didn't give them much to go off on so she would have to ask some questions later.
The ship came to a stop everyone got to their feet and Skye followed in the back of the group. She was trying to keep her distances from everyone till she was able to reconstruct her mental blocks. They walked into the ready room and her eyes scanned every inch of the place before she chose her stop at the table. She took a couple sips of a beverage that was placed in front of her. Makira agreed with them about the importance of why there were brought here. "Well what ever it is there better be a good explanation" she spoke in a soft yet hard tone. She had a pretty good idea what the others were but she wasn't too sure or what involvement Vaarak had in mind for all of them. "Per usually secrecy is top, so my question is unless you too like your secrecy...for what reason do you think you have been brought here?"

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Another metallic cough came from Silvanus as one of his more flexible cybernetic servo-arms on his back stared to work on a box on his chest. "The reasons are just as unclear to me as to you." The servo-arm stopped working for one second as he applied some sacred oil from a small vile he had with him before the arm continued. Before he could continue to speak was a small chime sound heard and a spherical device slowly lowered in to the centre of the room from the ceiling. There was a electrostatic flicker, a smell of ozone in the air , and a hologram of a man's upper torso appeared above the sphere. The figure had some sort of bionic filter over his mouth, while his skin is covered in fine circuitry that extended into an elegant augmentic skullcap that flared up behind him. His gaze sweep over the assembly his to the word, his voice deep and ringing with the tone of ritual cadence sounded within the room. "Greetings. I am Captain Sepheyr, master of the Mangus Ecthelion. I am to convey your lord's greeting and his apologies for being unable to be here with you, but the urgency of the mission that now stands before you allows for no delay. Here now, I display his key unto you all that you may know I speak the truth." Data-slates on servo-arms emerged from the underside of the sphere, each one which showed a series of engramic codes along with the Seal of the Inquisition. "Are you satisfied with this proof?"

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
So far Nickodemous was just one of a group of people that had been brought together. People with various skills, talents and the like. Those that were not as obvious as the Tech Priests remained unknown at the moment and he wished his to remain so then and in the future. If any found out who he was, his ability to do what he did would be comprimised. In effect he would have to eliminate everyone in the room to keep his secret. He wondered if Vaarak understood this.
He had not made his living thus far by having people know what he looked like, nor what his true name was. He looked at the coded data slate. It meant nothing to him really, for he had no official dealings with Vaarak so he had no code to correspond with the man. He had only got real close to him to warn him of the contract and show him how close to death he had come. He in effect had spared the Inquisitor's life that day and had turned the tables on the mans enemies. A double debt one might say was owed. But the Seal was proof that it came from him. He wished he could talk to Vaarak himself. He was a bit uncomfortable with idea of being around everyone there especially if they began to ask what one did to determine what they were doing on the so called mission.
"When will we be able to talk to him Captain." he hoped that the Captain was not informed of who he was. "And what is the mission we are called to do?"

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
"Am sorry too say that you will not be able to contact Inquisitor Vaarak before to mission, our Astropaths is to business keeping communication with our fleet at the moment." Silvanus had looked over the Data-slates were quickly and noted that this was in fact Inquisitor Vaarak code. He gave Captain Sepheyr a nod to confirm that this was the real thing. A cough came out of his respirator before he spoke. "As my suspicious companion here would I also like to know the mission which we were summoned to accomplish?"
One of the large walls of the room shimmered and revealed itself to be a large view screen. What at first appeared to be a great dark ship was shown of the screen, but that impression shifted as one looked longer on the vessel which seem to be interlaced with rock. It soon became clear that the object were in fact a conglomeration of multiple ships of varying style, not all of which are readily identifiable as Imperial. "This is the reason which you were called here Acolytes, this concoction of ship is a Space Hulk that recently exited the Immaterium within the system on a direct course for Scintilla..." The captain falled silent and his eyes took on a faraway look.
"Gentlemen, it is my honour to introduce you to the individual who will be briefing you fully on what this portends and what will be expected of you." The largest door within the room opened, but it was not enough. Not nearly enough. The massive figure that stooped to enter barely fitted though the door frame, even while crouching. Glossy black power armour encased a warrior standing nearly two-and-a-half metres tall. in the crook of one arm was he holding a helmet. At his side were and ancient bolt pistol. As he raised to his full height did he survey the gathering with appraising gun metal-grey eyes. He was one of the Angels of Death, the chosen warriors of the God-Emperor, the Imperium of Mans super-soldiers, an Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine!
"Acolytes," intoned Captain Spheyr, "I present to you Brother-Sergeant Agamorr of the Ordo Xeno Deathwatch. To him falls the duty of explaining your mission."
((kk, will continue without you till you say stop.))

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Nickodemous shook his head when it was told to him that Vaarak was not available. This was not going to be easy keeping his trade and identity from the rest of the people in the room. Then to answer his question somewhat one of the walls shimmered and huge dark shape appeared and what ever sensors had been turned to it brought it closer to reveal the massive form was an array of various ships that had been brought together to form a single ship.
Nickodemous stepped forward and took an even closer look at the thing. "Looks like the desperate attempt of thousands of people to escape something, perhaps a disaster." he was about to ask what the danger it posed, when the Captain introduced a hulking figure that entered the room. A Space Marine. Great he thought, a military mission, probably to exterminate everyone that was aboard the makeshift Ark.
He went to a seat and sat down. He waited for the Marine to speak and explain what was needed of them.

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Silvanus simply sat quiet as he looked upon the massive hulk that have been made out of chance and metal. He knew that it never happened that a space hulk entered inside a system but did usually drift in and out of the warp in deep space. When Brother-Sergeant Agamorr did his only human eye widen he had never seen a Space marine and thought then to only be myth. "The space hulk is a great mystery no one knows who they are made but many of then are ancient, sometimes even older then the Imperium it self. But they are great treasures of lost technology but also very dangerous as all types of Xenos and other monstrous creatures live on them. So if people live on then I do not pity them."
Brother-Sergeant Agamorr nodded to the captain's hologram and then to each of the guests in turn. Before he stared to speak did he place his helmet down on the large table and took a control wand from a block on the hologramatic sphere. When he finally spoke, came his voice from deep within his massive chest. "That you, Captain. Gentlemen. Approximately three days ago, a cadre of sanctioned Inquisitorial psykers registered an unusually strong disturbance of the aethyr about the Golgenna Reach. We were unable to verify what their sense were detecting until naval telemetry confirmed the emergence of a space hulk which we have code-named, 'Twilight'. The Twilight has entered realspace on a trajectory that will take it directly into Scintilla's upper atmosphere in little over half a sidereal day. While there is no standard procedure for an incident like this, the recommended course of action when dealing with a hulk that is too near a planetary system is to eliminate it, which is exactly what Battlefleet Calixis was preparing to do. However, soon after its detection, a transponder signal emerged from the heart of this hulk an encoded signal that the codifiers of the Inquisition have identified as carrying the call sign of the legendary Inquisitor Adorjin. Adorjin has been missing for over six centuries, her fate unknown. The signal has repeated twice since, at odd intervals. the dense material of the Twilight in conjunctuin with the unusual spatial anomalies that you can clearly see on the view screen has made sensor reading of the interior of the hulk impossible. Corresponding, the Inquisition has ordered the Battlefleet Calixis to give their agents as much time as possible to determine Adorjin's fate and retrieve the holy weapon that she once carried, the Luminous Reproach. Which brings us to you. You have been granted the honour entering the Twilight. You have just over fifteen hours to determine the source of the signal, secure the blade if possible and depart before the Navy destroys the hulk." The Space Marine finished his speech and looked about the room expectantly, one eyebrow slightly raised in a comfortingly human gesture. Then the Captain spoke. "The Navy will not be able to delay the destruction any longer as we have given you as much time as possible, but now at least you under stand the urgency you experienced earlier." Agamorr pauses for an instant then he states. "I was given the understanding by your master that you hold your positions by choice. He does not order you to do this, he asks. What say you? Will you accept this burden?"

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Skye silently sat there, watching everyone. She held her tongue on many questions that she had but more then one of them speaking would just create chaos and she was sure that the questions that she wanted answered were the same ones that the other two wanted answered. She kept her eyes trained on the captain till he turned toward one of the walls. She watched as the wall turned into a new picture. She didn't recognize it but once the picture was explained she remembered hearing about the mass.
Skye listened to the explanation of their mission. It was close to what she was expecting from Vaarak. He always sent her to do life and death type missions. As she assumed was the same for the other two. Skye's eyed the other two and wondered what they were thinking. She sure didn't want to do this, she was promised by Vaarak that she would be able to have some down time and he cut into it. Her mind wandered on everything that could happen if she went on 'Twilight.'
She did have plans that she wanted to get to, she had things to do back at her place and people to see but other then that she probably would be bored at home and she really didn't have anything too urgent to get to. "I'm in" she simply stated.

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Nickodemous raised a brown at the time limit they had. A few hours to get on board the hulk, find their way through probably a maze of ships and things, find this legendary Inquisitor and a weapon she carried and get out. All Before they destroyed the thing. Not to promising to say the least. Anomolies made it impossible to tell what was inside the hulk. Anchient ships, ships of unfamiliar design, an Inquisitor that had been missing for six hundred years. Quite strange indeed.
Then again what was his purpose on this mission. He could see the Tech Priest going, perhaps one of the people there was a psyker that could sence things, maybe even guide the group to the Inquisitor if she still lived or at least her remains and the weapon. But he was an assassin, he killed for a living, and not like a soldier did. But it would not bode well he thought if he rejected this job. Yes they said they could decline it but if one did, what would Vaarak think of that person. One did not make powerful enemies and that was why he prefered to keep his identity secret even to the temples. That way no one could really trace him or bother him.
He didn't like it but he shugged his shoulders, "Why not. We can try and if it gets to close to the dead line we can always get off it and back here."

Into the Twilight
"This one will accompany you as well." Did Silvanus answer, this was a would be a great opportunity to for him to obtain some Xeno technology without the Priesthood of Mars knowing it and perhaps could he also get some technology from the dark age of the technology as well to blind then with while he was sneaking some other tech away. The metallic cough came from his cybernetics one again as he rose from his seat to get a better look of the hulk, there was clearly some Xeno ships in this hulk.
Brother-Sergeant Agamorr nodded once, decisively, after each of the people in the room have answered. "I will not standby as you walk in to the dark alone, I will go with you. Now come with me." The Brother-Sergeant lead them down the never-ending corridors down into one of the forward holds of the Magnus Ecthelion. The hold was crowded and noisy as the Naval personnel were carefully preparing the cruiser's weapons for the destruction of the Twilight. Over at one of the less busy areas of the hold had the Imperial Navy arranged equipment for the boarding party, there was most of the things they believed them to need on board the hulk. Full vac-suits with magneticlly chargeable boots, a full array of equipment, form auspexes scanners to micro-beads as well as an advanced vox-caster that the navy enginseers hoped would be able to cut through the distortion fields surrounding the space hulk. As wall as a standard array of weaponry. "The amber rune signifies the presence of air and the ability the breathe, the red rune means the void holds sway and you must keep your helmet sealed, relying on the purified air of your tanks." Did a Navy personnel explain as he showed how to take on the vac-suit and use it. There was also some electric torches if the light of the vac-suits would fail and finally were there as series of already coordinated chronos that were couting down to the moment the battlefleet would destroy the space hulk. There were also given as series of coordinate vectors of the best guesses of the signal which appeared to be close to the centre of the space hulk.
((Yup that is Brother-Sergeant Agamorr))

Nick just shook his head. He still was trying to figure out why he was there. Unless it had something to do with the legendary Inquisitor. Did this person pose a threat to Vaarak and did he want Nick to eliminate her? He had no instructions on the matter. Anything on the coded pad was useless to him since he had no contact with Vaarak after their first.......'meeting'. Only his middle man knew how to contact him and where he would be. Nick rubbed his jaw, no one but his middle man knew where he was going to be. This made him frown. It ment that his middle man had told agents of Vaarak where to find him.
It looked as if he might have to eliminate that one and find himself another. He didn't mind doing a job for Vaarak, it was after all what he did. Vaarak owed him but this was not a way to repay that debt, but only could lead to him owing Nick even more. Still he needed to know his real purpose for being selected. He wondered if would ever be given instructions on his mission.
Following the Marine down to one of the ship's holds he looked at the weapons and gear that they were to be using. Vac -suits were even more annoying. He put his on and strapped two blasters pistols to his hips and slung a blaster rifle with scope over a shoulder. In a sheath on his right lower leg he slipped in a steel bladed combat knife and on his left fore arm a plasma knife. Straping one of the chronos to his left wrist he was ready.
"Alright lets get going. Time is a wasting." he said and looked around at the others.

Skye followed the group and hung back as usually till they came to the weapons. She quickly picked out what she wanted. Not too many things because if it came down to it she would just use her powers. Though that was a risk to take she was going to take it. If it cost her a couple years off her life it really didn't matter. She chose a few long range weapons and a few short range. She was sure if it came down to it the two others would take care of the killing. She really didn't like to kill unless it was her life that was going to end in those few seconds. "I'm with him on this one. Lets get this over with" She said crossing her arms.

After some complications were Silvanus finally dressed in his vac-suit, his servo-arms had been the problem but it had been solved by some creative thinking. Sealed and ready did he pick up a Combat shotgun and a hand full of shells as well as an Autogun with some mags. He knew that he wasn’t really a combatant but the rumors about what lurked in a hulk was something that he didn’t what to meet unprepared. “Let’s get going then.” Did Agamorr in his dark voice after he fetched a well-worn thunderhammer that he added to his bolt pistol. He lead the boarding party to an assault boat named Helios that the Navy as grated then to use when entering the hulk. Before they could board Helios would they have to wait as the one of the Navies Tech-Priests to finish the Adeptus Mecanicus chant to the Litany of the Sleeping Leviathan. Silvanus stood perfectly still as the chanting and resisted each word as it was spoken, this continued for ten minutes before the Tech-Priest finally finished with the blessing of the Helios with sacred oils and the blessing of each of the Acolytes. “The Emperor protects.” Did he finish with a rusty voice and they entered the assault boat. With Brother-Sergeant Agamorr on the controls did they leave the hold in which the assault boat had been docked. The Magnus Ecthelion were one of the largest vessels that had been assembled for the destruction of the twilight, but as they near the space hulk looming before them could one guess that it would take at least ten or more such cruisers welded together to even begin to approach the sheet size of the Twilight. The space hulk had a roughly ovoid shape, with various pieces of ancient crafts sticking out at odd angles from its central mass. As they drew closer could one see that several of the Twilight’s protrusions resembled no Imperial ship or anything even built in the Emperor’s shipyards. The denser material clustered between the myriad of ships resembled stone, but the scans from the Helios returned noting useful about it. Indeed, a liberal interpretation of the readings would suggest that there was no material holding the various derelict ships of the space hulk together at all.

Re: Purge the Unclean ((Group rp, Privet))
Nick took his seat on the ship that was taking them to the Hulk. As they got closer it was not hard to see how truely massive it was. Where had all the ships come from. There had been over the centuries ships that just disapeared with all hands aboard. He wondered if those ships were among the multitude that made up the Hulk. There were certainly some old ships among the others, very old ships. He had seen vidios of the old ships, some that were still in exsistance.
"Are we getting anything on whether there are any life forms aboard any of those ships?" he asked. "Especially those that are of some other worldly manufacture." Who knows what kind of creatures were aboard them before they were joined to the hulk. There were eough deadly creatures in the known universe, some that could rip you to pieces in a matter of seconds. He looked at the marine. He hoped that he could stand up to what ever was on board the ships they would have to transverse to where the legendary Inquisitor might be.
