Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
She bit her lip and hoped that the cookie had been Tobi's, but when he sat down on the couch and appeared to be having some sort of seizure-like attack, she ran to him, trying to shake him to wake him up. He seemed to be heavily unconscious, and she didn't know what had been in the cookie he had just eaten. Ryota didn't look as if he was in any kind of pain, just unsconscious, so she thought maybe she could ask anyone who might have spiked it. She ran to Hidan's room first, unsure if he'd actually open his door for her. Kakuzu answered, holding a wad of money in his hand and looking as grumpy as he always looked. He was probably counting his money and she had interrupted him. She asked him if any of them had left a cookie out and had spiked it. He denied it for both of them. The only person she could think of who would try something like that left was probably Deidara. He wouldn't poison his own son, but it was worth a shot. SHe ran to him next, finding him in his room arguing with her dad. "S-sir?" she asked, trying to get his attention. "Did you....did you per chance leave some kind of spiked cookie out in the kitchen? I-if you did, Ryota ate it..."
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Deidara looked up from Sasori to Nami as she walked in. He wasn't in a good mood, arguing with his partner as he did so often. He raised an eyebrow as he wass called 'sir', though when he heard what she had to say he cursed. "Shit! That was left out for Tobi, un" he said, snatching a little bottle off of a shelf, that contained a bright blue liquid. "I thought he was sleeping, un" he muttered, holding the bottle out to Nami. "That's the antidote. . . there's no side-affects or anything. . . just knocks whoever consumes it out until they get the antidote, un. . . thought I could get rid of Tobi for a day or two".
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami took the bottle and ran back to Ryota, kneeling down next to his head and trying to pry his mouth open. When she managed this, she poured some of the bottles contents into his mouth, hoping he didn't choke on it when he swallowed. She rubbed his throat to help coax the liquid down easily, waiting for his body to recognize the antidote.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Deidara shook his head as Nami left. Ryota really needed to learn not to eat things that are left out. He turned back to Sasori and picked up the argument again, not worrying about his son at all.
Ryota woke up after about half a minute, shifting slightly. "Ugh, what the fuck is that weird taste?" he muttered groggily, not really knowing where he was until he opened his eyes to see Nami, and that he was lying on the living room floor next to the couch. "Wait. . .why am I on the floor?" he muttered, sitting up and blinking a few times. He remembered eating a cookie and sitting down, and that was it.

Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
"You ate one of your dad's spiked cookies he left out for Tobi, and you passed out," she informed him, setting the now empty bottle of the antidote to the side. Deidara must have gotten the poison and antidote from Sasori, because the blonde was just like his son when it came to messing with poison. They couldn't do it to save their lives, so he must have asked for it or stolen it. "You shoiuld have learned by now not to eat food that's been left out," she told him, looking at the bottle on the ground and then at Ryota.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota frowned when she said that the cookie had been spiked by his dad. "It probably wasn't for Tobi. . .he probably wants me dead now too" he said cheerfully with a grin. He knew that that wasn't true, but it was kinda funny to say. "But it was right there, and it looked so good!" he protested with a slight wine. He never thought of things before he ate them. If he was hungry, and there was something there that looked good, he would eat it. Apparently that was a stupid thing to do though.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
"It was only meant to knock Tobi unconscious for a couple days to give the base some peace," she said, "and he said you should know by now that things left out by other Akatsuki members shouldn't be eaten." Ryota never learned any of his lessons, no matter how painful they were, he never seemed to get it. Which would explain the reason he was always getting hurt and stuff. If he was smart enough, then maybe he'd at least realize everything he did and all the punishment he recieved for it was a little too repetitive.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
"Oh, well, he could still have been trying to get rid of me for a few days. . . you never know with criminals" Ryota argued, just for the sake of arguing. he wasn't even sure why he was. He got to his feet and sighed, plopping down on the couch where he had been sitting before. The remote was still not there, so he stuck his hand in between the cushions, not surprised to find it wedged in there. He pulled it out and flipped the TV on. "I probably should know by now not to eat shit, but I'm going to forget in a few hours, probably" he added, making a face. He never remembered the important things.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami sighed and watched as he flipped through the channels. Nothing good was on, and Ryota seemed kind of occupied with going through the channels now. Now what? The biggest thing that had happened today happened practically every day. Ryota forgetting some things he should have learned by now and windind up getting himself hurt. He was a mess, really. He'd probably never learn.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota flipped through the channels aimlessly, settling on a program that showed how some products were made. Apparently it was called 'How It's Made'. It was a bit interesting, and he watched them starting to make swords, which was weird. There was nothing else on that looked that good, and it wasn't too bad, so he settled down to watch.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Now there was just plainly nothing to do, and Nami was going to get bored of watching them make a whole bunch of junk. She didn't need to know any of this, so maybe she could just go whever to hang out. She walked away, just letting her feet take her where ever while her mind thought about what to do. SHe found herself in the entrance to the base, and she sat down, not knowing whatelse to do.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota glanced up as Nami left the room, not really caring. He didn't need anything, and she was obviously bored, so he just sat and watched as several other things were made, eventually ending up stretched across the couch on his stomach, despite that being uncomfortable becuase of the stupid stab-wound in his stomach. After the show was over a really boring one came on so he groaned and turned it off. :Ew" he said, rolling off of the couch to miraculously land on his feet. If only he always landed on his feet. Like a cat. He got up and went looking for Nami, limping down the hallways until he found her sitting by the entrance of the base. "Having fun?" he asked with a grin.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
She jumped at the sudden sound of Ryota's voice, which penetrated the still silence of the area she was sitting in. She hadn't even been doing anything, or thinking anything in particular. She realized she had been picking at her dress, not actually watching how many tears and all the damage to it. Now that she was to her senses, she saw them. Konan probably wanted this back.... Now who in the Akatsuki could sew? Maybe Kakuzu, because he used all those sitches. "Um, I think so?" she said, answering his question. She got up and walked past him, excusing herself quickly to say she was going to Kakuzu's room to ask if he could repair the dress.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota raised an eyebrow at her question, laughing. "Wow, looks like it" he said with a grin. He looked at the torn up dress she wore as she got up, not having noticed how ripped up it had gotten until then. He nodded as she said she was going to get Kakuzu to fix it, but he limped along beside her, having nothing better to do. "Think he'll fix it?" he asked skeptically, not sure weather the stitched man would even want to.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
"If he wants to. And maybe if we bribe him," she said, walking along the halls until she got to Kakuzu's room. She knocked, pretty sure Kakuzu and Hidan were annoyed by how many times she had come to their door already. Hidan answered, and when he saw it was them, he scowled.
"Well? What do you want?" he barked angrily, still not very happy with how she had broken his arm before.
"I-I need Kakuzu to stitch this dress back up," she said nervously, keeping her head low as he snapped at her. He might not agree to let them ask him, but Kakuzu shoved his way past Hidan, looking at the dress,
"What do I look like? A seamstress?" he asked, holding Hidan back from the door way.
"It's not mine. It's Konan's, and she might be mad if it's not returned to her in the condition it was before." Kakuzu thought about it for a bit, knowing Konan could possibly get mad at him for not repairing the dress and might just come back later and ask for it fixed. Might as well get it out of the way while he wasn't busy counting his money. He eventually agreed, telling her to come back with it. She nodded and headed for her room, telling Ryota to wait outside while she changed. At least she could be in her other clothes for a bit.

Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota laughed, wondering what she would bribe him with if he wouldn't sew it up for her. He leaned against the wall as she knocked on the door, smirking slightly at Hidan's tone. It still amused him that Nami had broken his arm. He didn't seem too happy about it though. He waited silently as Kakuzu finally agreed to do it, tapping his foot as he waited. He followed Nami to her room, waiting outside as she left him to go change. He leaned against the wall there too, looking like the lazy ass he was. He slid to the ground after a moment though, his broken leg hurting. He crossed his legs and leaned his head back and humming, his head swaying from side to side. He would look a bit drunk to people who didn't know him at all.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami hurriedly switched the clothes from the torn and worn out maid's dress, to her familiar old clothes; the black ninja gear she missed. It was much more covering than those maid's clothes, which she was grateful for. She knew this would be the last time she was ever going to wear a dress, and never would she wear one of her own free will. They were far too uncomfortable, and they had no sort of protection whatsoever. She stepped out of the room after, looking at Ryota being bored. She walked past him and went back to Kakuzu's room, handing him the dress. He eyed it with a sort of appraising look. He nodded once, then closed the door. Nami sighed as it felt good to be back in her other clothes. Now what?
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota glanced at Nami as she left her room with the ruined dress, and brought it to Kakuzu's room again, but stayed where he was, humming still. After the old man closed his door, leaving Nami standing there, he got up and walked down the hallway to her, with some difficulty because of his broken leg. "So. . . watchya wanna do?" he asked, having no idea. He had nothing to do, and he probably wouldn't find something easily, so he asked Nami, even though she probably wouldn't have any ideas either.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami looked around. "I'm not sure.....both of us are recovering from injuries, and neither of us have anything to do, so.....I'm not sure...." she trailed off, not coming up with anything good. Nothing better than Ryota could. Or maybe it was better. Because Ryota could come up with some pretty idiotic --not to mention dangerous-- ideas and activities. Hers wouldn't get them severly injured and or killed, but she never could really come up with anything to do. They needed something to happen, then there was something to keep their mind's busy.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota sighed and made a face. "Always the injuries" he grumbled. Everything that he couldn't do was normally because of him being hurt in some way. "Well. . . why don't we. . . uhh. . ." he racked his brain, trying to come up with something for them to do. "Ugh, I can't think of anything to do" he said in disgust. That was how it went, all the way until Ryota was fully healed. His leg wasn't broken anymore, his arm was done, and the wound in his stomach was gone as well, with just a scar added to his collection.
Ryota's stomach growled loudly and he sighed. He opened his mouth to call Nami to get him something, out of habit. He closed his mouth and sighed, getting up to go to the kitchen to get something for himself, to see Nami sitting there. "Ugh, I wish you were still my maid. . . I have to do my own work now" he said with a laugh. It was a really strange change, but he was getting used to it, sort of.

Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami healed and Ryota healed. Quite swiftly, too. As soon as she had healed, she used the time to perform the jutsu to return her body back to it's half-puppet state. At first, it felt like her body had been half blocked off now. With less feelings and such. She got used to being her normal self again, though. She perfered it this way anyhow.
Nami had chosen to hang around the kitchen, finding food for herself since it was one of those uncommon times she needed it. When Ryota commented that he'd have to do his own work and wished her as his maid again, she just glared at him. "I don't care. Doing work for you was bad enough." And never again did she want that maid's dress back. Konan didn't care all that much that when she had returned it that it was worn down a bit more than when she had loaned it out. Now she didn't need to be by Ryota's side anymore, thank the gods.

Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota grinned and shook his head in amusement, walking over to the fridge and tugging it open easily. He crouched down and peered inside, looking for something to eat. There was some non-expired pre-cooked meat, so he pulled that out, walking over to the table and dropping into a chair, opening the meat, which he didn't know what kind it was, and taking a bite. He could tell now that it was ham, and he took a few more bites before remembering that he was supposed to be asking Nami something. "Oh, uhh. . . Pein asked if we'd be able to go on a mission. . . we were supposed to go see him an hour ago. Oops" he said with a nervous laugh, knowing that they'd probably be in toruble becuase he forgot.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami's eyes widened when Ryota mentioned that they were supposed to be there an hour ago. She jumped up, dashing out of the kitchen to go to Pein's office. Of course Ryota would forget it and put it at, or even past the last second to say something this important! She didn't even care if he followed or not, but what was important that she got there as soon as she could.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Ryota watched as Nami got up and ran, raising an eyebrow. He sighed and rolled his eyes, getting up and following her out. He finished the ham about halfway down the hallway, swallowing the last mouthful as he walked along quickly, knowing that he was going to be in trouble, but not really wanting to get there sooner, because he would be in trouble. Deciding he would be in more trouble if he was even later, he started going faster, jogging to Leader-sama's office.
Re: Annoyances **SasoriPuppet11**
Nami knocked on Pein's office door as unrushed-sounding as she could manage. It didn't come out half bad, too. Ryota was rushing up now, and when she heard Pein allow them access, she inclined her head for respect and to apologize for their extreme lateness. Hopefully Pein would already know that it was Ryota's fault for not telling her in the first place. Everyone knew how he was, so chances were that Pein knew. She didn't want to point it out though, because she didn't want to sound like an annoying tattle tale.
