Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless let Hiccup help him up onto two feet. He had to test out his feet a couple times used to having his wings and tail to keep him balanced, now all he had was his arms. He stuck them out slightly and tried to keep himself balanced. He had no idea how he was supposed to walk like this though. He looked at Hiccup then in front of him the back at Hiccup the look on his face skeptical as though to say, 'Yeah, because I can really walk like this.' He tried to take a step and he managed to get one but on the next he fell back down onto all fours and he growled slightly.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup let go when Toothless had his feet. If it hadn't been such a serious situation, he would have laughed at how Toothless looked holding his arms out and trying to walk. When he fell Hiccup frowned. He kneeled down as best he could with his wooden leg. "Okay, it seems like I'm going to have to help you walk. . . do you think you can?" he asked, holding his hands out. He could help balance him as best he could, as long as he didn't trip himself, his walking impared by the stupid artificial leg.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless looked at Hiccup's hands as he held them out. Toothless still didn't believe he'd be able to walk that far. He took Hiccup's hands none the less and half pulled himself back up onto his feet. Not looking forward to this. He shook his head again, not liking this fur on his head as well. That and he was still incredibly cold and hadn't stopped shivering the whole time. This time he waited for Hiccup to start walking though not trusting himself to walk on his own.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup stood as Toothless pulled himself up, standing unsteadily and shivering. He took a step backwards, holding Toothless's hands tightly in his own, ready to support him if he needed it. Hopefully they would be able to make it back to his house. It wasn't a very far walk, but it would take enough time, with a cripple and a dragon turned into a human. He wondered how long it would be until he was used to the body. Or if the effects were permanent. He would miss flying with his best friend. How was he going to explain this though? He was sure his father would notice that there was no longer a black dragon in the house, but a black haired teen with catlike eyes, who was a stranger to the village.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless pulled slightly on Hiccup's arm as though to say he was ready to go. He adjusted his grip so he had both his hands around Hiccup's upper arm on his good side and so they were both facing the same direction. He had himself as close to Hiccup as he could still freezing cold and wanting to be at least a little warmer. He didn't like this so far, he completely hated it, he just wanted to be back to normal right now. He didn't even know who that guy had been but when he found him again he would make him change him back and then scorch his head off with no mercy. But he would have to wait for that.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup stood patiently as Toothless adjusted his grip. He hoped his friend would be able to make it all the way back. He took a step foreward slowly, looking at Toothless, who was as close to him as he could get without making them both fall. "Okay, I'm going to get you home, and I'll et you some of my clothes to wear" he said, sighing. Toothless was taller than him, but he was sure he had a pair of pants that was too big for him. There had to be at least one before he could get something else. How was he going to explain this though? Knowing his father, he would try to launch into battle with whatever it was that had done this to him, and the only one who knew what had done it was Toothless, who couldn't just tell anybody.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless took the step forward slowly as well trying to get to this whole walking on to feet thing, but he managed, albeit shakily but he managed none the less. And he let Hiccup guide him along, paying more attention to his own feet then to where they were headed. No matter how long he stayed like this he would never get used to this. If he had claws instead of these little stubs he would be able to walk more easily, but he didn't and he growled at the fact, a low growl coming from his throat as he continued to walk led along by Hiccup
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup was glad that they could make some progress at least. His mind was panicking. Taking care of a dragon secretly in a forest was one thing, but taking care of a dragon forced to change into a human, in his house? Yeah, that was going to work just great. And he was probably going to have to deal with Astrid's nosing around. He helped his friend foreward, keeping a steady pace, that was pretty slow. Toothless was going to have to learn to walk. He was going to have to learn alot of things about being human.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
With a look up Toothless could tell it wouldn't be that much longer until they were there but he also almost tripped over himself because he wasn't concentrating as much as he should have been. He managed to gain his balance again without falling though. He shook his head and that hair on his head brushed along his neck making him shiver again. He didn't like the feeling. This new skin was so sensitive, he could feel everything, unlike when he was a dragon because he had thick scales all over his body and his sense of touch hadn't been all that great. Now though he could feel even the small pain in his feet if he stepped on a rock or a pine needle and it was quickly getting annoying. He growled again wanting to go to sleep or something and pretend this all hadn't just happened to him.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup steadied Toothless as best he could when he stumbled. He had been trying to keep his balance as best he could while walking, not wanting to bring them both down. He could feel Toothless's shivers, and he was happy to see the trees thinning, but this would be the tricky part. He glanced at his friend for a moment and then at the house, knowing that they would be in view for a while, but hopefully nobody would notice. This would be very hard to explain. "Okay, we're going to have to move a bit faster here Toothless" he said, sighing. "Alright, let's go" he picked up their pace a bit, but still trying to make it so that Toothless wouldn't fall on his unsteady legs.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless nodded as Hiccup said they were going to move a bit faster and he tried to prepare himself. Then they sped up and Toothless really had to try not to fall down or trip over himself, he did a little kind of skipping motion a couple times to try and stop himself from falling over and bringing Hiccup down with him. He did manage though and when the door was almost within reach he let go of Hiccup and put his hand out to catch himself on the wall. He let out a sigh and shook his head before looking at Hiccup his black eyebrows furrowed. IN annoyance, confusion and frustration. But he was pretty proud of himself for getting over here.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup sighed in releif when they finally made it to the house, and Toothless didn't fall. He opened the back door quickly and stuck his head in, happy to see that his father wasn't there. "Alright. Let's get you some clothes" he said, putting his hand out to help Toothless again. He needed some clothes on before he caught a cold or something, plus the fact that it was extremely awkward to be running around with a naked person. Especially at his age.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless took Hiccup's hand as the teen led him into the house. It was so familiar and once he was inside he let go of Hiccup's hand and got down onto all fours which was easier then using just his legs and made his way to the window where sunlight was beaming down into the room he curled himself up on the floor in front of it and let out a sigh, it was so warm compared to outside and he just wanted to stay there for a while to warm himself up.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup looked down as Toothless dropped and crawled across the floor, and he shook his head slightly, wanting to laugh despite this. He walked into his bedroom, leaving Toothless in the sun where it was probably warm. He grabbed a long sleeved shirt, knowing he would probably be cold for awhile, getting used to skin instead of scales. He found a pair of pants that were too big for him, but he figured would fit his friend, and a pair of boxers. He took them into the room where Toothless was curled up and sighed. "Alright buddy, I've got some clothes for you to wear" he said, holding them up. He figured he would need to help him, since he was still getting used to human limbs.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless looked up as he was spoken to. Not wanting to open his green cat like eyes. He stretched slightly and sat up blinking a couple times, not sure what to do. He looked at the clothes looked at Hiccup, looked at himself, then back at Hiccup then just blinked cluelessly and hoped Hiccup would help him. Toothless had never been given something like this to try and put on himself. He had his saddle and his fabric tail which he guessed were technically clothing but he hadn't put those on himself.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup sighed and stood in front of him. It was going to e alot of work to get him used to being human. Unless this didn't last. For all he knew, Toothless could be back to normal the next day, or even more likely, he was dreaming. "Okay, um, put your arms up like this" he instructed, holding up his own arms straight in the air in demonstration. He was going to have to dress him, he figured out now. Great. He felt like a parent having to dress their child, except for the fact Toothless looked around his own age.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless nodded as Hiccup told him and showed him what to do. He looked at his arms and then stuck them up in the air as Hiccup had. He looked up at Hiccup and nodded with an unsure smile hoping he was doing it properly. Toothless was pretty sure he'd be able to do all this eventually but right now he really needed all the help he could get.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup nodded and smiled back at Toothless. "Good" was all he said, stretching up to pull the shirt over his arms, making sure that they went in the holes. This didn't need to be any more difficult than it already was. He pulled it down over his head, making sure that his head got through as well, and then down over his pale flat stomach. With that finished, Toothless was only half naked, and he picked up the boxers, holding them out by the sides, not knowing what to do for these. "Uhh. . . stick your feet out?" he said a bit uncertainly. He was really glad Toothless wouldn't exactly understand how awkward it would be for him to be putting boxers on for him. He had been avoiding looking at his friend's more personal areas, and putting underwear on for him wouldn't be helping that.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless didn't do anything in particular as Hiccup pulled the shirt on. Not knowing what he would do anyways. He looked down at it examining it slightly when it was on. It kept the hair on his head from brushing the base of his neck which he was thankful for and it was a lot warmer then not having anything on. He looked up at Hiccup as he spoke again and he noticed how uncomfortable he looked and tilted his head to the side slightly. He stuck his legs out in front of himself and leaned back on his hands.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup sighed when Toothless complied. He ignored the tilt of his head, not intending to explain that to him. He pulled the boxers over his feet, making sure the legs were in the right holes, and pulled them up to his thighs. He hesitated there for a moment before pulling them up as high as they could without Toothless moving, so he could get them over his ass. "Okay, now push your hips up" he wasn't exactly sure if Toothless would know how, or be able to really, but he hoped he could. Helping with that would be. . . interesting.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless watched him as he pulled the clothing up his legs as far as he could. When he was told to lift his hips up he wasn't 100% sure what to do. He drummed his fingers against the ground a couple times before lifting his ass off the ground slightly, figuring that was pretty much what he had meant by that. He watched Hiccup closely trying to remember what he was doing so he would be able to do it himself when or if the time came that he would have to.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup almost sighed in releif when Toothless did what he was told, and he smiled. He pulled the fabric up the rest of the way and let go of the waistband, sitting back. "Okay, almost done" he said, shaking some of his hair out of his face. He picked up the pair of loose pants and pulled them onto his legs, going through the same process with these that he had with the boxers, yet it was more comfortable, since Toothless was no longer naked from the waist down. He stopped at the hips again, looking nup at him. "Up?" he said, hoping Toothless would get it and do what he had before.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless smiled glad that he had done the right thing and kind proud of himself, and Hiccup didn't look nearly as uncomfortable now. When the pants got to his hips and Hiccup said up he did exactly what he had done last time. Toothless knew he didn't know how to act or be a human but so far he wasn't doing to badly was he? He didn't know and he was hoping Hiccup would tell him, and pet him like before. He looked at Hiccup his eyes bright and a smile on his face as though asking, 'Did I do good, buddy?' He would be wagging his tail if he had one now but he didn't and it was something that he was never going to get used to. He needed it to balance the fact that he didn't have them was pretty much the only reason he wasn't steady on his feet.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Hiccup pulled the pants up again and let go, sitting down on the ground next to Toothless. He was hoping that his friend would be able to adjust quickly, and get used to it, unless he didn't have to. He wanted to ask the teen what had happened, but he wouldn't get an answer, so he kept it to himself. At the look he got he grinned. "You're doing great Toothless" he said, ruffling the black hair, which was softer than he would have thought, for a dragon. He knew that Toothless would be needing some support after this big shock, so he wasn't going to stop petting him like he used to, no matter how strange it might be.
Re: How to train your. . . HUMAN!? -- KDS!!!
Toothless pushed his head up into Hiccup's head and smiled softly happy to be praised. He put a hand on Hiccup's shoulder and leaned closer and gave his friend a quick lick on the cheek before nuzzling against his neck, like this size better for stuff like this, he wasn't just going to push Hiccup over by brushing his head against him. He was glad that Hiccup was with him for this, if this sort of thing had happened before he had been caught he probably would have ended up dead quickly. He could've purred, but he wasn't a cat, he wasn't even a dragon anymore and he had no idea how to speak like a human.
