Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Sure, I"ll let you believe that for the time being." He meant for both thinks. Cockiness seemed to be this guy's only trait, as well as stubbornness which kind of came along with cockiness, just to keep cockiness going. "Arxingall," he responded, wondering what consequence it would be to give his name. There weren't many who got his name after battle, unless it was those who insisted on honorably knowing his name before battle, or maybe on the occasions he lost, they earned his name. He could feel his mp slowly rebuilding, but his hp was slower to rise. He'd probably need a potion if he wanted to get back to training today.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada rolled his eyes and tilted his head to the side, looking in the opposite direction. "Well, Arxingall, you're an ass. Just so you know" he sniffed. He was pretty sure about that, from what he had seen so far. He stretched his arms above his head before relaxing them, leaving them above his head though, then stretching his legs out, lying spread-eagle on the ground, letting out a sigh. He needed a potion of some kind, but he had used his last ones up earlier. What a pain.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"You'll have to do better than that if you want to tell me something I don't know, or haven't heard," Arxingall responded, having other fighters call him this before, or usually his sister. His sister knew loads of insults to call him, and most of the time they were true. He knew what he was, and he chose not to care what people thought about it. He didn't get along well with others unless he had to, and for most of the world, he really didn't have to, nor did he want to. "Just so you know, you need to learn how to control yourself." Azlada had proved within their battle that his emotions were easily, easily tampered with. That could be the death of anyone, comrades, or himself.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada raised his eyebrows, although he supposed he shouldn't be surprised that he had been called worse. "You want me to be creative? Clamidia troll" he crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes. He could get pretty creative with his insults, since he had nothing better to do while training alone. He stiffened slightly at the comment, narrowing his eyes further. "I do not. I'm completely under control" he argued, tilting his chin up defiantly, even though he wasn't too sure that what he was saying was true.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hmm, I guess I haven't heard that one before, but you must have had a lot of time to think of something like that. Not to mention it's completely off topic. All the same, interesting enough." Who was this guy, exactly? And why should Arxingall care? Everyone was the same in Luna. Train, become the strongest, and slay as many monsters that crossed your path and then some. Arxingall, to an extent, was that as well, but he took time to study the beasts, appreciate the habitat they lived in, as well as he. How many of the humans or elves in Luna actually did that? "Control, yeah, I can tell," the elf said, sighing lightly.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada shrugged, not exactly caring what Arxingall thought at this point. Or ever. He was just a nuiscance who got in his way while he was trying to get this tupid quest over with. He didn't understand why anybody wanted 50 Lizardman skins. And not even the Lizard men from Moon Blind Swamp. Stupid Ruins of Draconian ones. "I do! I have more control than you think. I just choose not to excercize it. There's a difference between having it and using it" he pointed out, sitting up. "I don't see how you can talk though. You didn't exactly sit down and settle things with words. You were up for a fight. Or did you just want an excuse to be getting all hot and sweaty with me?" he raised a fine blonde eyebrow, knowing the response would be immediate denial. He was only joking though, so it didn't matter to him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Sit down and compromise, huh? You certainly didn't appear to want to do something like that." He wouldn't sit there and get ready last minute as he realized a fight was going to go on. Arxingall was never the last one to realize a fight was to ensue. "An excuse to- What?" Arxingall stopped, looking at Azlada carefully. "You're serious? You would think of that as a reason to fight?" Azlada must be high off of something. "You must think high of yourself, hm?" It would be typical for an obnoxious, unstable-emotion wise kid to be vain.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"So? Somebody's supposed to take initiative. Although, violence always solves things. Whoever came up with 'violence doesn't solve anything' had some mental issue" Azlada sighed, pushing a hand through his bangs. The majority of his hair was held up in a ponytail, but his bangs hung loose, coming to just under his eyes. He grinned at the look he recieved from his question. "Some people just take that as an excuse to get so close to somebody sexy like that without having a real reason, and it doesn't seem as odd. And yes, I do think rather highly of myself. But you can't tell me I'm not hot" he was just waiting for Arxingall to say just that.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Violence, in a technical sense, doesn't solve anything. It spawns new hatred for every next death, so there'll be an endless chain going on until someone stands up and puts a stop to it," Arxingall explained, using logic with history. It happened all the time, and a few learned from it. Arxingall included learned from it. "Tell you you're hot? How do you assume I'm attracted to you at all?" Could someone just assume sexuality by looking at them? Arxingall didn't think he gave anything away. He just looked as he did, he showed no interest for either girls or boys, and Azlada, who didn't even know him, was guessing he was into him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada raised an eyebrow, not very impressed. "What are you, a walking textbook? Goddess. . . " he rolled his eyes. Violence was his every day life. Running around and brutally mudering demons. It was just how it worked. "Everybody's attracted to me, gay or straight, human or elf, demon or animal" he boasted, knowing it wasn't true, but it was fun to say. He had a big head, he knew, but he didn't care. Most of what he said was kidding anyways. It was hard for him to take things seriously.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Not a walking textbook, no. I just know what I'm talking about, and have evidence when I need to back it up." It's called research, or studying, whch Azlada didn't seem to do too often. He must have based things off of whatever he saw. "If you say so. Let me know when the next Lizardman has his way with you for being so ultimately attracted to you," Arxingally said, shaking his head. He flicked purple bangs out of his eyes, looking at his well used bow. He could use a new one soon, but this had a lot of memories to it. Its power was fading, maybe from extreme use.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada wasn't sure that he did really know what he was talking about. Maybe he knew what he was talking about in some other dimension. "So what, you kill monsters using peace and reasoning? It doesn't work that way" he knew he was just being difficult, but it was true. Arxingall used violence in his every day life whether he admitted it or not. He scoffed at the next words, shaking his head. "I'd kill any Lizardman before it came anywhere near raping me. But even if it did, I'm sure you'd be watching from the bushes, like the creep you are" he glared, not caring if that made no fact behind it at all. It really didn't matter at this point.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall made a noise in the back of his throat, eyebrows curving downwards ever so slightly at Azlada. "Watch? I think not. There'd be no point to it, watching you with a Lizardman would be as eventful as watching rookies training." It didn't usually get eventful with them, unless one of them had a conniption had tossed a weapon or something. But watching them just learn what he'd known for a lot longer, being proud of what they accomplished in x amount of time, was very uninteresting to Arxingall. Watching new fighters begin their journey just gave him deja vu feelings. "I bet you'd let Brashi get a hold of you, if you're so keen for the Lizardman." It might be amusing to see Azlada try to flirt with a Lizardman, who only had intelligence to breed and eat, and a bit of conversation involving more food or mud. They'd rather just charge at Azlada than listen to him sweet-talk.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada raised his eyebrows a fraction, sure it would be more entertaining than that, even if it was just humor that he was being raped by a lizardman. "Liar. You know you'd enjoy it" he shook his head. Watching rookies fail could be extremely amusing, and he enjoyed watching them get destroyed by slimes, whereas he could kill them in less than one hit. At the comment about Brashi he made a face. "Yeah, of course, because I love Brashi oh so much. I would just love for him to have his way with me" sarcasm laced his voice, and he rolled his eyes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
This wasn't even worth his usual 'If you say so.' That usually meant for him that he knew he was right and it didn't matter what they insisted, but for this time, if he said that, it'd mean Azlada won, he won the argument. It wasn't worth hearing him cheer over what was wrong. "I'm pretty sure beastiality is illegal in Luna. The Goddess would certainly frown upon acts of intercourse with them." He knew they were being sarcastic with each other, but all the same, Luna's humans or elves breeding with her beasts? It didn't work like that, it didn't matter who you were. "I'm willing to bet you're still a virgin," Arxingall said, figuring the loud moron didn't have any friends or anything.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada snorted, shaking his head. "I bet a lot of things are illiegal. Doesn't stop the monsters from doing stupid things" he pointed out, shrugging. The monsters themselves killed hundreds of people a day. That had to be illiegal. "I'm willing to bet you are too" he shot back. He didn't care that he was still a virgin, but he had a feeling it wouldn't be for too much longer. He was seventeen now. He hadn't had much time to spend with people since he was off on quests and such, but when he did he was sure it would have been worth the wait.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Monsters have no idea or moral for the laws. It doesn't matter. People who can think are held to the law though." Wasn't that common knowledge? It was like saying a dog had to make sure they only peed in the privacy of their own home, because peeing in public was illegal. "Whether or not I still have virtue is not up to you to find out. I can, however, say, that I'm probably farther along than you are." He wasn't saying he was or was not a virgin still. Azlada was someone he'd probably never see again, so he didn't need to know about Arx's sex life.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Well no shit" muttered Azlada, crossing his arms again, armor clinking. Everybody knew that, even if he didn't imply that he knew it. He made himself sound stupid a lot of the time, but he really could be pretty intelligent. He raised an eyebrow when he was told it was none of his business, which just made him more curious. "Oh really? What, do you whore yourself out or something? Or were you the one who was raped by Brashi and some lizardmen?" he asked, smirking slightly. He was slightly surprised that Arxingall wasn't a virgin, or at least that was how it sounded.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Now the point of the question was just getting ridiculous. There was barely a point in speaking to Azlada anymore. This must have been the first fighter he spoke to all week, not including Iridescence. She was quite the social butterfly, telling him to get out too. He didn't need anyone. His only goal was to get stronger and to find his old friend and teacher, Azusa. "I'm leaving," he announced under his breath, pulling himself away from the tree and avoiding gazes with Azlada. Anymore questions and he might actually get annoyed. It took some provoking to accomplish that and have him perform such.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was sure he had finally irritated him somewhat when Arxingall pushed off the tree. "Good. Maybe I can finally get this stupid quest done" he shot back, not really caring that he was leaving. All he was was somebody to talk to, after his original rage. Idiot had to prolong his time in the newbie grounds. He was tempted to head back to the Gate of Alker, just for the laughs. He might, after he finished this. Just 40 more Lizardmen to go. Great. He got to his feet, sighing. He was mostly rested now.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall made is way through the trees, bow raised in case an enemy was lurking around the corner, or in the shadows. He'd sense them before he heard them though, he was certain on that. He was rarely afraid. Red Orc was one of the places he was at least phased by, due to a traumatizing event Azusa kind of caused by bringing him there. That, and the Way to the Howling Ravine was disturbing. The giants could really do damage if he didn't keep distance and wasn't fast. Where was he heading now? He didn't want to be in the area because there were chances he'd run into Azlada again. Maybe he'd go to Mont Blanc Port.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada flipped his middle finger nup at Arxingall's retreding form, and he stuck out his tongue, not caring if it was childish. He sighed and picked up his sword, heading off against the Lizardmen that had respawned since that random had killed them off to spite him. He took them out in two hits each, no mana needed, but it was still annoying as hell. Forty was a lot to go through, especially since it was such repetetive, boring work. They rarely even got a scratch on him. He was glad to be rid of Arxingall, but he hated getting back to this quest.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall turned around in the cover of the tent, looking out at the bright glowing flames roasting a bird. The bird was cooking along nicely, he could smell it from the tent. He was going through his supplies, checking what he could sell and what he need to buy from the merchant, Dina. He had a feeling she was flirting with him. Every time he looked her way, he caught her staring at him, and she'd wave when she realized he'd caught her. He as almost afraid to talk to her. Silly girl elves, always wanting at least a kiss from some male elf, or human, whatever amused them more.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada finished up killing some giant eyebats and reported back to Equpos, getting his reward for the quest. He sighed and took a few steps towards the fire, sitting down in it's warmth and looking up at the cooking bird. It smelled good, as it normally did around here. They were always cooking something at this little camp. He looked up to see Dina, the merchant girl, seemingly flirting with somebody who was standing in one of the tents. He looked up to see a levender haired elf, and he narrowed his eyes, sighing loudly before glaring down into the fire instead.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Hearing the sigh, Arxingall peered at the fire, letting his now ruined night vision adjust to the meager light source. How very typical it was for him to see him again. The only people he saw repeats of were people who trained around the time he was, so they were relatively in the same places he usually was. Azlada, however, was interesting. There was something odd about their meetings that made him think about it. He ignored Dina for a moment, glaring out at Azlada, who was staring intently at the bird roasting. Not that he had helped kill the bird, but Equpos would let him have a share anyway.
