A new power (OPEN)
The era is that of now, but the place is that of what some might call... Fantasy. Mycrodorma City is the last refuge for the races of old. A city where humans, as well as other creatures such as elves, orcs, halflings, and other mystic beings live in peace. The city is huge, and busy with industry and wealth. In the days of old the "Mystics," as they are referred to, inhabited the world. But when the era of man rose, they were considered monsters and had to migrate. Mycrodorma owes more than half its enormous population to the mystics.
There are three Powers controlling the city. Two of them are crime families.
The first family is the Hobbs family. There leader is the oldest son of Damion Hobbs, the recent deceased father of three, Fredric Hobbs. Fredric in inherited the businesses of narcotics, gambling, and even prostitution. The Hobbs family is all human, and make there wealth entirely off the streets, and only having there hands if a very few politicians. They often bribe the police, having many corrupt friends in the local police force.
The second family is called "The Drows." They are a family of Drow elves. The Drows have been in the city since it was just dirt. All elves, as some mystics do, live for centuries. So the Drow family is the oldest among the groups. The family is part of a ancient group of assassins, and controls the illegal arms trade. Almost every gun in Mycrodorma City has bee handled or touched by a Drow. They also practice dark forms of magic and use it to help in their political corruption. No one is certain if there is a designated leader to this family.
The last and most important power to the city is not a family or even a group. In the ancient eras of magic and powerful creatures lived a sorcerer. His name was Pyro. Pyro lived as a gnome, but his size did not limit his power. He was a brave wizard and a well known hero. He sought power and immortality. Becoming an Archmage he learned how to use a ritual to reincarnate himself into a new body. He mastered the ritual and even used science to help create an image he found fitting. A human body, with bright red hair. Learning to live longer and longer he noticed his world was changing. Money became less currency and more ownership. He started to use his wealth through adventuring and invest it. Becoming the CEO of several companies and eventually owning all of them. Pyro created and empire. Owning the largest portion of wealth is Mycrodorma City. He has his hands in the pockets of the Mayor, Chief of Police, and even the Cities treasurer. Pyro knew there would be government in his future, so he learned how to keep his crime business safe. Pyro's knowledge of the ancient secrets has made him a powerful magic user, as well as a alchemist, a spell inscription, and an enchanter. As most forms of magic is illegal, Pyro controls the distribution of magic components and potions that are considered illegal. With his vast wealth Pyro has hired old families of mystics he's known for many centuries. Some he considers loyal business partners and even close friends. Pyro is the most powerful of the three entities, but he could easily be overthrew. If the Drow and the Hobbs ever joined there forces, they would have a good chance to dethrone the powerful wizard. To keep the families happy Pyro graciously keeps his hands out of the others businesses. They have frequent meetings to discuss boundaries.
It was a rainy, cold day in Mycrodorma City, Pyro was in his city-towering office receiving some bad news.
"ALL OF IT!" Pyro screamed hurling a glass cup across the room and shattering it against the wall. There were three dwarfs standing with there hands hung infront of him. The other Mystics in his office where his close friends and loyal crew. An orc, Thrun a mighty warrior from an old tribe. A Drow, Thias was excommunicated from the Drow crime family and joined Pyro. And Alisha, a female doppelganger who was studying magic under Pyro.
"We're sorry boss..." One dwarf said, "they came outta nowhere and lit the entire shipment on fire."
"Did any of you even see who did this? Where they Drow!?" Pyro asked sitting down and pouring another drink.
"Well, yea see... We didn't actually catch any of them. They just swooped in and casted flames from the hands. Like you do..."
"That was almost four million dollars in lotus petal. That component is almost as hard to get as nightshade, someone better be responsible." As Pyro started to stand his palms started to smoke.
"Sir..." Alisha said as she spoke up. "With all do respect, you do have a family meeting tonight."
Pyro took a deep breath, walked over to the dwarfs, and knelt down to see them eye to eye. "You've been good to me in the past, so I won't hold this against you..." He said as he grabbed the head dwarf's beard. "But fail again..." His hand start to smoke again as the dwarf's beard lit on fire. The dwarf panicked and put it out with his hand. The dwarfs walked out and Pyro looked to Alisha. "Look after the place." He said going to a cabinet with drawers, pulling out a pistol and tucking it into his suite. As he walked out to go to his meeting, Alisha took his form. Looking like him and sitting in his seat.
The meeting was taking place in Pyro's dance club, "Club Flame." As the limo pulled up, Thrun walked Pyro to the car. Thrun was one of Pyro's personal body guards. Being his muscle and helping keep Pyro safe during his rituals. Thias, was going with Pyro, being the other guard. Thias proved his loyalty to Pyro when a thug came from nowhere and tried to shoot Pyro. Thias took the bullet and almost died. Thrun closed the door for them and stood awaiting last orders. Pyro rolled down the window and loomed at Thrun. "Your dismissed for the night. Go see your new son, give him a kiss from his Uncle Pyro." Pyro said as the limo pulled away.
When Pyro got to the club he scanned the dance floor, looking to see any new faces.
((Okay... A lot of opportunity for creativity here. You can quite literally be what ever you want... I'm pretty sure I'll work with it. Just do your best to fit yourself in and work with me. A little background would be nice. Lets have fun ))

Re: A new power (OPEN)
“Long ago in a time of clans there was a race named the utopians, they looked like angels but were certainly not considered the best of beings, they were skilled fighters and now they hunt the night”
“What do they hunt for?”
“They hunt for dead travellers, they eat the lost souls and roam the night like a freshly create nightmare, they can rip flesh apart with their bare teeth and do not hold mercy for anyone, one of them, their leader is particularity horrible, she killed the king and queen in order to take the place for herself and haunts the nightmares of anyone in power”
“Where is she now, mommy?”
“She is nothing but a fairy-tale, a myth so you have nothing to fear my son”
In that city, that night in particular one creature did emerge, she was very strange something that was not seen very often anymore. Her race had several names and was now considered nothing but legends. The Utopians were a proud race, excellent fighters, and hunters but were such peaceful people. They could be identified by their wings usually of a blue colour tipped with black and also by their need to live of souls of the dead as well as their incredibly sharp teeth as well as their defined fighting style. However, now such a noble race was nothing but a tale told to children as a bedtime story of the mysterious angels that travelled at night hunting the dead travellers and eating their souls.
This one in particular was from a strong family, the Alma’s a group of pure-blooded assassin utopians, after that war so many years ago they were killed off for all she knew she was the only one left breathing but even then… there was no one there for her. The first day of her life she died and because of that her mother had begged the heart of the city to save her, luckily it had although now… she had an endless, living power source as her heart, it did beat like any other heart did but was far stronger and could stop if she needed to pretend to be dead or if she needed to hide. Not particularly wanted in any city she was told in these tales as a killer. Yes, she had killed the king and queen of the utopians but only to protect who remained unfortunately the other races had finished them off.
Landing she folded her wings in, her mismatched eyes of golden amber and blood red caught many people’s attention and hid behind bit of black hair. She was not one to dance if she could help it, although she was tempted to she needed to rest and her heart piercing eyes searched the souls of those that were in the bar for anywhere that could be used as a shelter. If such a plan failed then she could just fly the night like those tales.
When a man did go over to try and get her to dance she gave a vicious hiss baring hellishly sharp teeth, they almost looked at her in disbelief not quite believing what they were seeing. Shaking their heads they let her be, finishing her drink she sighed moving from her seat she lifted her head letting it tit back as she listened to the music and took in the different scents. Standing up she then moved to dance she felt playful and enjoyed teasing a few of the boys every now and then, just to play although it never went past teasing for her and yes they did remain alive.
Keeping wings folded tightly into her back the distinct midnight blue, black tipped wings was something that clearly told people what she was. But she wanted her race to remain a legend, she did know that the occasional wizard or witch knew her race had been real at least, she could only hope that they did not know of her existence.
Suddenly she picked up something, one of the so called factions in this area had made themselves present, oh today would be fun if she could play with them… although for her paly meant chasing around, fighting or just teasing. At the seat where she sat a white she-wolf lay down looking to her companion shaking her head. The amber eyes searched the crowd and her aceint amber eyes rested on Pyro, surely Seclusion didn’t plan on messing around with the factions here.
She did not let anyone dance with her at all, a sense fo danger surrounded her when they did get to near for her liking, she had to protect herself now, afterall that beating heart of hers held so much power inside, but it was sealed away when she was young, the seal hidden under her tattered pale scarf that held the forgotten embelm of her family. The wolf gave a light bark in warning to her, giving her a glare in which instantly caught the utopains attention. Now she knew she wouldhave to be careful, she prefered to remain hidden, forgotten by all but this appeared to be at threat now, that mage...
She scrambled the embelem on her scarf to hide herself, making sure the seal was indeed hidden, she could not risk it, she did not want to for her race had made so many enimies during its exsistence, although it was a wonder how she was even alive.
(Hope its ok)

Re: A new power (OPEN)
The club was filled that night, every table had people, and the dance floor was crowded. Pyro was wearing a full white tuxedo with a white tie and white gloves to mach. Pyro was met by another associate. And escorted both Pyro and Thias through the large crowded club. Pyro started to browse the crowd. In his long life span he learned how to spot possible suspicions, a talent that's kept him alive for a long time. Pyro spotted the odd creature on his dance floor. Pyro knew instantly what she was. Her wings where the dead give away.
"Thias... Blue wings, your nine." Pyro softly mumbled to his guard.
Thias looked to his left and saw her. "Just a demon boss. They're not much trouble. Not sense they lived under the docks." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"No demon, Utopian." He whispered back, navigating past the dance floor and stopping for a brief moment, he was on his way to meet the families.
"Never heard of that race."
"That's because most people never survive an encounter. There an ancient race, a viscous and powerful race one too."
"Want me took take care of her?" Thias said flashing his gun to Pyro.
"That won't help you. Just stay back and keep an eye on her. They haven't been seen in centuries. I don't think she wants any trouble. And on the off chance I'm wrong, get out of here." Pyro said continuing to the elevator.
"Did you ever have to fight one sir?"
"Once... Couldn't sleep the rest of that lifetime." He said as he entered the elevator. "I'll handle her after the meeting." The elevator door closed and Pyro went down to his meeting. Thias sat at the bar and kept a good eye on the creature.
As Pyro walked into the room. He was greeted by two Drows and two men. The Drow sitting at the table was Leona, the oldest sister in the family of Drow. She was accompanied by her cousin and guardian. The other was the human family leader Damion with his guardian.
"Anyone wanna explain why my lotus shipment caught on fire!?" Pyro screamed.
"Settle down Pyro," Leona Said. "your the only one who plays with fire. Besides we lost shipments too."
"So what did your attacker look like?" Pyro replied.
"We don't know..." Damion said.
"Well then, looks like we have a common enemy. What are your suggestions?" Pyro asked.
"We were hoping they all seeing Pyro would have this handled by now." Demona mocked.
Pyro was furious, throwing his chair and throwing fire on the table. The table was fortunately very flame retardant. As Pyro's hands went up so did the guns of the two guards and two family members. "Do you want to see what I can handle!!!" Pyro screamed. He took a deep breath and realized he was out gunned. Calming down Pyro stood back. "Put more efforts towards your shipment defenses for now. Track what shipments are attacked and call me if any patterns show up." Pyro fixed his tie and walked to the elevator. "Now go get yourselves something to drink." He said as he entered the elevator and returned to the bar for his next meeting with the Utopian, if she was still there.
"Thias... Blue wings, your nine." Pyro softly mumbled to his guard.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Staying on the dance floor her gaze soon turned to Thias and Pyro knowing she had been spotted and identified she was no idiot. Noticing the guard had stayed and was watching she smirked and gave him a look that said she knew they now knew and she did not care in the slightest. Returning to the bar she sat down rustling her wings as she sipped her drink speaking softly to the wolf at her feet “They know what I am, clever and one is a mage as well, a powerful one at that” she chuckled those hellishly sharp teeth showing clearly. Finishing her drink she didn’t act much different the alcohol didn’t much affect her at all and she seemed to dislike the bitter taste. “How they even drink this stuff?”
“You have far different tastes to them remember, Seclusion?”
“Ahh, that is indeed true” she said. She suddenly got an idea that guard was there, she felt like playing around a little as well.
Moving from her seat she went over and sat down opposite Thias, those heart piercing eyes looking straight at him. “Well then, Thias care to answer why you are watching me, I am no fool and I pick up on these things or was it simply an order from that mage you were with?" Having read the name from his very soul as she spoke, one of the talents a utopian like herself had; they did not need to ask questions they could read a person’s information and past straight from a person’s soul, she jsut liked to see how people reacted. She let a grin form on her lips. “Well are you going to answer me or shall I just read through you once more?” she asked making circular motions with her finger tips on the table. She waited little getting quite bored with the silence waiting for him to answer her, she had a lot of patience in her occupation that was important however, if a person looked closely she was far older than she appeared. Looking only 18 maybe 19 years old, Utopians were known for their long lifespans and she was a lot older than she looked.
She wore a white shirt that was specially made to fit around her wings, part of the deep scar on her back showing a little, she wore black torn jeans as well and her tattered periwinkle scarf that had her family emblem on it when she didn't muddle it all up to hide herself. Although it was pointless now, someone knew what she was and that she was here. “Honestly Thias, why don’t you speak?” she asked reaching a hand towards him and teasingly tilting his head up, her skin was as cold as ice before she moved her hand away. The white she-wolf walked over and sat at the young utopians feet, this wolf appeared to be a demonic weapon of sorts when transformed. Giving a light growl of warning to her when she noticed that mage was there, Seclusion let her gaze drop to the floor where the wolf was, speaking in that anceint forgotten language "Becareful Seclusion, he knows what you are, I heard him speaking of your race earlier." Another small detail was the fact that on both her wrists and forarms were a pair of hidden blades, she wore them proudly with the strange emblem of her family remaining on them still hidden under the sleves of the white shirt. She rustled her scruffy, short black hair as if waiting for him she turned her gaze "What is it you want to say mage?" she asked when he was only a few steps away.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Thias was silent the whole time for his encounter. He was shocked she knew his name, but not frightened. He cautiously unsnapped his pistol from it's holster just in case he needed it. As Seclusion spoke to him he just stayed quiet, hoping he wouldn't have to fight. As she reached out and touched Thias, he started to slowly reach for his gun. He stopped as he heard the elevator door open.
Pyro walked through the club and up to the bar, placing his hand on Thias' shoulder. "You kids decided to get along how cute." His other hand wrapped around Seclusion's little waist, bringing her closer and whispering in her ear. "You draw more attention then you think. So I suggest you fallow me. Oh, and bring the dog too." Pyro whispered letting her go and walking away to a small flight of stairs labelled "VIP." Thias didn't need to be told, he fallowed.
Once in the VIP room Pyro sat on a large couch and patted the seat next to him, he wanted Seclusion to sit next to him. Thias watched the door.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
She frankly didn’t care if she attracted attention or not, most thought she was simply a demon most times anyway and hissed angrily at Pyro baring those sharp teeth of hers at him with fiercely burning hues glaring at him when he whispered in her ears when he let go she snapped a little “Oh the mage Pyro can’t even tell a wolf from a dog” she taunted a little. She could have left that very moment however, her curiosity proved too much for her. The wolf walked beside her as she followed cautiously her wings moving a little on her back as she did.
The wolf sat under her legs as she sat on the couch, alert as always she waited “Well Speak, Pyro” she said, she was not showing much respect at all for she had no reason to. “Also I suggest you do not treat me as a fool either for one I can read you like a book already” she smirked a little, waiting in silence for him to speak although she did give a slight hiss of anger if her dared to even touch her again. “Well what is it? I have hunting to do tonight and I do not wish to be delayed” she said bluntly getting bored again already. She also had to return to the ruins, her home, her destroyed city, the last place the utopains dwelled destroyed into rubble apart from the odd building or so one in which she sheltered in and the ground would beat like a heart.
Her pateince wearing thin in the silence she bgan playing with her hidden blade nochalantly not caring at all, knowing she could easily get out of there if either of them tried to get at her.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Pyro smiled as his impatient guest threatened him. "You really are a Utopian." He said as he stood up and walked over to the mini bar to fix himself a drink. "Very aggressive, short tempered, and brave too." Pyro sipped his drink and put it down. "Your race was in existence for a very long time. For a while I thought I had out lived them. I guess you've proved me wrong..." Pyro circled the room, slowly unbuttoning his shirt. "You know one of you tried to kill me once. Quite the fight too. He was quick to judge me as weak. Although compared to what knowledge I know now, I guess he was right. None the less, I proved stronger then him." Pyro took off his jacket, laying it down on the couch. "Did you know some mages have sought power by tattooing ancient runes on their bodies? Absurd right? Well that's the problem with runes. Most of them aren't really powerful enough to verify such extremes. But there are runes so powerful that only the oldest and most powerful entities have access to them." Pyro removed his tie and finally removed his shirt. The entire upper half of his body was covered by ancient text and symbols. In the middle of it all, on Pyro's chest, was the symbol of an old Utopian family. "To you it's just some family crest, you may not even recognize it. To me, it allows me to mark my very soul with these runes. Every time I am reborn these runes come with me." Pyro picked up his shirt and started to redress himself. "Enough about me. I know your so busy, so I have a proposition. I want you to work for me. The pay is incredible, and you won't ever have to worry about security." Pyro walked to the door and opened it for her, letting her out if she wished. "You don't have to answer just yet. Just meet me on the top of the tallest building in the city. We'll work something out from there." He said as he watched her.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
"We only attack when we beilive we are threatened otherwise we prefered to remain peaceful, you could've gotten too close to the city during the wrong time which is most likely what would've provoked the attack and you forgot something, by blood we are loyal to our race and family... well if there is any left" she said in a rather bitter tone, her race loved to have family, have someone of the same blood to be there to support them it was rare to see any utopian alone withut another.. Although in her circumstances, she had no choice.
Giving a light snarl, she knew who’s family emblem that was and spoke their name “The utopian Alma family, the only assassin family in my once upon a race, or rather my family emblem, not careful and I’ll burn it straight off you one day” she smirked, she meant it as well. She was never one to make empty threats, pulling her sleeve down and rearranging her scarf she showed the same emblem on the metal plates of the twin hidden blades. “So actually no, it isn’t just some family crest it is my family crest” she snarled clearly not happy about it "and I have no need for money when I don’t even live on food, ever heard that fairy tale that we live on the dead, turns out that entire fairy tale is real even the king and queen being killed by one of their own” she said bluntly Deadly stood up with her, her arms crossed over her chest “That depends on what the work is of course, I know better than to take a blind deal” she said as she walked out “Better think of your words carefully, if that emblem is so powerful imagine what I am like…” she said and left folding her wings in tightly once more and left.
She had found an old house to stay sheltered in and took her meal back there, savagely tearing at the flesh of the flame as she ate it growling happily as she did before stretching her wings and landing on a tall building to spot where this tallest building was. The dawn would be coming soon and she landed on top of the building sleepily, she was a nocturnal creature most times, partly because she preferred the darkness of night. This time her moon pale skin showed and she gave a light sigh. Landing with her twin bladed scythe in hand she let it balance its self before she perched herself neatly on the old blade waiting in silence her mind drifting off but forever alert to any presence that neared her. “Your Late” she said opening her eyes and looking straight at him. It appeared she had lost her patience over time the silver bladed scythe beneath ehr had twin crescent blades, a black handle between the two curved blades, each facing a different way, bloodied bandages were wrapped around the scythe and it was larger than what a person would expect and on the handle was the name 'Deadly Score', this was Seclusion's soulled weapon and the only true weapon she had ever owned.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
The rest of Pyro's night was quiet. His business was settled and he looked forward to his interview with Seclusion.
As the sun started to rise his small group of associates met in his office.
"So Master what do you plan to use her for?" His pupal Alisha asked.
"She knows souls, probably better then I do." Pyro replied.
"What's that have to do with you?" She asked again.
"Everything..." He replied softly.
"And what if lady not loyal." Thrun asked, his ogre. "What if she try to kill boss?"
"Don't forget I once thought neither of you two could be trusted." Pyro replied looking at Thrun and Thias. "So I think my judge of character is a bit better then yours." Pyro saw Seclusion flying to his building. "Come, lets go meet our new teammate."
Pyro led the group to the top of the building, hearing Seclusion's comment and ignoring it.
"I see you've decided to take up my offer after all. You won't be sorry." Pyro said as he walked forward to her. "These are your fellow employees. This tall muscular mass you see before you is Thrun. He is the last of his Ogre clan, so you two have something in common. You've already met Thias. He's a drow elf, also an assassin. Wow, thats two of us you can relate too. This last one is my pupal Alisha. She is a Doppelganger, she can change her form to look like most humanoids. She's also studying magic under me. She's very good and show's a lot of potential." Pyro put his arm around Alisha and looked at seclusion. "Team this is..." He paused for a second. "I'm sorry I never caught your name."

Re: A new power (OPEN)
“I can read you know” her eyes glancing over them all she picked out every details within seconds, listening with a bored expression on her face, “It’s simply to stop myself from getting bored” she said to him bluntly and stepped down on the tip of the bottom blade flipping it in the air she caught it and held it behind her back “Seclusion Ash Alma, last of the forgotten utopian race and of the Alma assassin bloodline” she answered and the wolf appeared from behind her “and I am Deadly Score, her partner and weapon” said the wolf in a far less harsh tone than Seclusion. She could spot their doubt “Despite our reputation I think you’ll find utopians are loyal creatures and keep to their deals and promises, otherwise it destroys our honour” she said bluntly. She really was reading them like books although she would stop that once she gained respect for them and trust.
She seemed far calmer which was most likely the tiredness sinking in, the ruins of her city were not that far from here, but she still protected them, that was her territory so even if any of them went near she would not tolerate it “Another thing as well, go near my territory I will not hesitate” that slight smirk that danced on her lips so frequently appeared once more. Deadly looked to Seclusion, her race had true names, that was how old they were and she never told anyone hers, the last person she told she had killed when he betrayed her something utopians did not take lightly either. Rustling her hair she looked to the burning red dawn sky and rustled her wings as they changed to a silver blood-stained colour only for a few seconds before changing back as she waited in silence once more

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Thrun was the first to break the silence. "Than it's settled. Velcome to team!" The orc said as he opened his arms and walked forward to Seclusion. He reached out and shook her hand. "HA! She has stronger grip then boss! I like you!" The simple orc shouted. "We need brawl sometime. Be fun." He added walking off to the door, Thias joining by his side. "You know Thias! New girl would kick your ass in fight!" The orc continued to shout punching the drow in the arm, laughing obnoxiously.
"Shut up." Thias whispered, the orc snickering a little.
Alisha looked up at Pyro. "How is he a genius?"
"Like I always say... His genius is his simplicity. Life is only as complicated as you want to make it." Pyro said looking over his shoulder and smiling.
"That's not yours." Alisha stated. "That's in that philosophy book you gave me." She said sarcastically.
"No idea is original." Pyro added, looking to Seclusion. "Alisha why don't you go make sure the boys don't kill each other." He said as he let Alisha go.
When the two were alone, Pyro walked past Seclusion. "At the club. I was in a bad mood. I had a meeting that didn't go well. I should not have acted in such a matter. I was... Well, it was un-gentlemen like of me. Those symbols were meant to threaten you. So let me be a man and apologize. I'm sorry." He said as he looked over the city. "I was never this temperamental, I use to be like them down there. Weak and fragile. I was small, a gnome actually. But I sought to make myself better, stronger, immortal. Now I've lived for centuries. Reborn in what ever form I see fit. And ironically I chose the race that I use to hate the most. I guess what I'm trying to say is I thought about it. I acted very human. I was quick to assume you as trouble." Pyro stopped for a minute and looked back at Seclusion. "Okay enough of the mushy crap. I have a room for you... If you choose to stay here from now on. Otherwise work starts at sun down for you. and you work till you are dismissed. There's an elevator here. Just press the flame shaped button. That's my office. This is usually a helicopter pad. It's in the shop. "You start in two days. Any questions?"

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Shaking the orcs hand she laughed a little “Maybe one time when I am not so tired” she said truth was, she was as weak as any human was but took chances and opportunities and also used the element of surprise, so far it had worked. She listened to them all speak in silence for a moment figuring out who was who and what they were like for a bit so she could distinguish them from her prey with ease. She watched Alisha leave and turned her gaze to Pyro as she listened “I think anyone could tell that” she said bluntly once more she rustled her hair listening before she spoke “really think showing a utopian and utopian family crest would threaten them, you must be stupid when you’re in a bad mood and my crest is well known as well.” she yawned a little covering her mouth, getting tired and she was missing out on her sleep which sometimes lead to her getting in a bad mood. Listening to the rest of what he said she closed her eyes a little and gave a slight chuckle “everyone starts out like that, I was no different so I know what you mean and everyone thinks of me as trouble, so I don’t take it personally partly because I’ve been chased out of.. 3 maybe 4 cities now” she did sound a little ticked off about that.
She soon decided in her head that a room was better than the old building she had taken shelter in, for one it was a roof without holes in it and hoped it wouldn’t start raining either, that was when she couldn’t fly and hated getting soaked. “I think that room would be better than the old building I take shelter in” she said bluntly “and I don’t have any more questions I can find the answers without even asking you if I wanted” she said and waited for him to show her where the room was. After she was shown it she pulled the blankets over her head to block the sunlight out of her eyes, she didn’t stir until the evening rustling her wings on her back,

Pyro smiled. "Good." He walked her to the elevator. "Well I'll give you a quick rundown. There are sixty four floors of the building, and my office makes it sixty five. Your living quarters are on the sixtieth floor." He said as he pressed the button, the elevator started to descend. "I live a floor above you." He added as the elevator stopped and opened to a light grey hallway with large numbered doors, three on each side. "So each of your teammates are also your neighbors. There's only six rooms on this floor, mostly because that's what I can fit. Your in room, well, apartment five." He said as he walked her to the door. Pyro took a key card from his pocket and swiped it at the scanner on the door.
"Welcome Member." The room spoke as the metal sliding door opened.
As Pyro walked her in he turned the lights on to a gorgeous one bedroom apartment. "So this pretty much standard. Master everything. Bedroom, bathroom, and yes, a decent size kitchen. Nothing is set in stone. Change it how you like. More walls, less walls, what ever you want. If you need our contractor just ask and I'll get him here to make you as comfortable as we can." Pyro handed her the key card. "This gives you access to pretty much everything. Any club, bar, restaurant I own. If you need to buy anything, this card is also serves as a credit card. Consider it your pay. You have almost limitless spending limits. But know it's recorded, so if you buy something too too big, I'll know. The room is kind of smart. A built in voice operated computer will keep your schedule, give you reminders, and even act as a big telephone. We'll work on it knowing your name and all that jazz. For now get some sleep, then come see me at sun down." Pyro said as he left. "Good night Seclusion." He said over his shoulder.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
She listened yawning a little and Deadly chuckled a little, she listened to what he said having figured a few things out herself anyway, there was no point in changing the room since she would only really use it to sleep and bathe in nothing more really mostly since she didn’t tend to get ill either.
When the sun did set she was pulled out of bed by Deadly. She rustled her wings and hair with a slightly annoyed groan “You are not an evening person now get yourself ready, remember how annoyed you get when someone is late…” Also if she did have a free night she planned to go back to the ruins to visit the ghosts that dwelled there and also to read some of the old books in the library which was now only a skeleton of its former glory as was the rest of the city. Pulling on her jeans and adapted white shirt carefully she flexed her wings out and her arms.
Finding the way upstairs she knocked on the door a little sleepy still and blinked a few times, that ability was certainly hard on her eyes at time. Deadly looked to her “Honestly you have to get used to such things, you finally won’t spend your time playing with people’s minds and causing chaos, also you’ll get to put those skills of yours to use”
“Oh shut it you old wolf” she said and Deadly chuckled “Now now, manners young one” making Seclusion shoot her an angry glare.Once she did get let in she crossed her arms over her chest “what is it?” she asked him, he said she started in two days so wanted to know when she had been brought up here when she’d rather be at the ruins tending to a few things she had left to do there since she doubted she’d get a chance to go back every night. “Well, care to answer?” she asked him Deadly standing at her heels as she did. "You said I start in two days why am I up here then?"she said bluntly her mind ahving blocked out their souls from her eyes in order to prevent confusion when she was working, an automatc response whcih she had little control of at the moment. The strange seal was on her neck showing a little under the scarf which was used to hide it. Deadly shok her head "hoenstly be a little more polite, last time you were rude you almost got yourself killed?"
"hmm, I don't recall that, I was only telling the truth and they were of angelic blood, quick temper and that one hated me anyway, might as well of wound him up" she said back in a rather blunt tone to the old demon wolf who shook her head.
She rsutled her hair, unfortunatly her tutor had scheduled a refresher lesson for her so she did not wish to be alte partly because he had a worse temper than she did. "My tutor is visiting today and I do not wish to be late, he has a bit of a reputation with guiding the dead and I do not wnat to be one of thsoe dead" she said bluntly

As Thias opened the door to let Seclusion into Pyro's office, she could here him talking to someone. He was in a conference, and he was being broadcasted to his business board from his office.
"So lets all meet in my office within a month or two to discuss financial growth." Pyro said as he shut off his camera and television, his attention now on Seclusion. "Good evening Sunshine." He greeted her with a smile. "So I need you to go with Alisha. She's going to help you get fitted with some presentable clothing. If your going to work for me, then your going to have to look the part." Pyro said as he sat back down at his desk and started to type. He paused for a moment as Alisha and the rest of the team stared at him. "Oh!? That is all, you two are dismissed." He added.
Alisha took Seclusion's arm and walked her out of Pyro's office. "So how was your sleep?" Alisha asked as the two of them walked into the elevator.

She raised an eyebrow not entirely happy about wearing different clothes to what she was wearing the torn jeans and t-shirt as well as the scarf were what she was comfortable with, Deadly chuckled “Alisha I wish you luck..” that got an angry glare from Seclusion “I have had more pleasant sleep” she said to Alisha as they were in the elevator “and what is wrong with what I wear it is more comfortable for me and because I have wings this top is adjusted already” she frowned still not happy about it. Alisha did drag her to shops to get different clothes. However, stubborn as she was she wouldn’t wear anything and was a little touchy about taking off the scarf. She had her reasons, everything she did usually did have a reason whether it be to have fun or for other things. She leaned against a wall not interested at all in getting a different style of clothes at all, also in her mind it was better she wasn’t associated with anyone, it only ever brought trouble which she did want to stay out of for a little while. She rustled her wings a little board. She still wanted an answer as to what was wrong with her current clothes anyway.
She did eventually try something on and the old wolf chuckled, snapping at her she glared not at all impressed but refused to take the scarf off backing off and hissing a little when Alisha tried to get it off her neck and soon went back and changed swiftly into her usual clothes. She really was incredibley stubborn at times, and this was one of them. However, one thing about her in particular was that she ahted being ordered around and she wasn't changing how she dessed for anyone without reason. She got bored and stretched her wigns and found hersalf a high building and sat on the roof of the tall building. She enjoyed the nights and soon she headed southward to the old ruins and landed. She sighed and looked ot the dead city. "I hav ebeen gone far too long my old freind" she said softly the ground beating slightly like a heart. She picked one of the Calla lillies and looked to the innocent flower of death she held between her fingers. Deadly shook her head, "Oh dear this is going to be troublesome" said the wolf changing size and sprinted through the city towards the ruins in order to find her companion. She looked to her an angel had crossed the land boarders and now lay dead at the feet of Seclusion, throat ripped out and fiercly burning hues showed in her eyes. Licking her blood covered lips she let the hell hound feast upon the fresh corpsewhile she walked through the ruins, looking for something... searching for the heart beats.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Alisha and Seclusion had picked out some beautiful clothing for her. The only problem was they needed to be tailored for Seclusion's wings.
"I'll have them delivered when I'm done." The tailor said.
When they were finished at the tailor shop, Seclusion went off and did her own thing. Alisha stayed to look around a bit.
Alisha noticed two strange looking men and a women were walking into the store. Alisha immediately picked up her phone, she was suspicious and did not want to be alone with these strangers.
"Thias?... Yea it's me... Come get me... I'm at the tailor...Please hurry."
As the strangers entered, the tailor greeted them.
"How may I..." The old woman was interrupted by the sound of a gun fire. The suspicious woman shot the old lady dead.
"Just looking around." The woman said as she continued to walk into the shop. "Split up the boss wants her alive." The woman said.
Alisha quickly transformed into an old man and hid in the dressing room. She could here their foot steps getting closer.
Meanwhile Pyro was on a date. He was taking Demona to the opera. He frequently tried to keep the Drow family happy by taking Demona on expensive dates.
The show was only on its second act when a man pulled up in a limousine. As he got out he was accompanied by two suspicious men similar to the ones Alisha was caught up in. The man was very pale, wearing a black tuxedo and wielding what seem to be a crystal cane.
As he walked forward a rather large greeter stopped him. "Can I help you gentlemen?"
"Yes, please." The man replied politely. "We're here to see the show. I'm sorry we're late there was some awful traffic." He added attempting to walk past him.
"Your name please?"
"Oh so sorry... D'Arque. Mr. Damion D'Arque."
"I'm sorry I don't see..." The greeter was soon stabbed in the kidney by one of Damion's men
"You soon will." Damion said as the greeter fell to his knees before bleeding to death.
Damion continued inside and made his way to the public balcony, he was browsing the crowd for Pyro. As he looked up he saw his foe enjoying the show. Damion smiled, snickering under his breath. "Enjoy it while you can. The next act is far worse." He said as he waved his cane, causing a small portal to open. From the portal four big dark blue creatures crawled out. The portal shut behind them as fast as it opened. The creatures were as big as orcs and were all dark blue. Their eyes glowed with a bright light.
Immediately they started to terrorize the theater, tossing people around like rag dolls.
Pyro stood up and met Damion eye to eye. His heart stopped as Damion evil glare crept into Pyro's eyes. Damion was an old nemesis of Pyro's and one of the few wizards in the world as powerful as he was.
Thrun was outside the balcony door when he heard the noise.
"Thrun! Take Demona and get her out of here, then make sure the others are safe. Get everyone to the tower and put it on complete lock down!" Pyro ordered, fear in his voice. Fear, a feeling Pyro had almost forgotten.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
The ever curious creature she was she soon spotted danger and as usual decided to go see what was happening, walking past the now dead greeter she looked to them and spoke "Que descanse en paz (may you rest in peace)" before she looked around, able to feel the brewing trouble. That did not take very long and that adrenlin started to rush through her system.
Noticing the portal she also saw the four blue orca like creatures, that sense of fear gripped her but she simply looked to them “Seclusion…no”
“They look tasty” she said licking her lips, she avoided being picked up by one and looked as they tossed people around watching them and examining them as well before she jumped down and whistled "Want to play?" she asked.Folding her wings in tightly she took a deep breath, blocking the attacks and avoiding their grasps hissing a little when one grabbed her wings. Sighing she cut her own wing off without hesitation and cursed, finding the element she needed pinning the creature down quickly and ripping out the throat and then the heart to destroy it spitting them out and looked to them “Want to try? I wouldn’t mind another meal and neither would my friend” razor teeth covered in blood, dripping down from them made her look like a vampire at times.
She thought a little “Hmm how interesting” she said and thought a little constantly trying to avoid one in particular “Oh give up.” Taking the place of her old wing was blood-stained silver feathered one which seemed to have ripped through her back without her noticing. Stretching them she perched herself on the top balcony and looked down assessing the situation. She then spotted Pyro and Daimon from there, reading through and seeing what had happened “hmmm, interesting…”
“Seclusion, no…”
“Oh come on not even a bit of fun?”
“Seclusion” the stern female voice from the scythe seemed to have a bit of authority at times when it came to her... although at this point she never listened. Soon enough she tried her luck against another of the blue orc like creatures and ended up being tossed to the wall and banging her head quite badly…cursing she stood up. “That hurt” was all she said and in a rather angry tone as she glared at it. Soon her voice turned into her ancient language speaking to herself as she thought knowing none of them spoke it. Thinking she melted into the shadows and hummed softly, sweetly to see if they’d respond… nothing… Then she managed to get behind one, the cold metal blade of Deadly resting at its neck and soon sliced it wondering if that had worked or not.
(Tried to imrpove it...)

Re: A new power (OPEN)
D'Arque watched seclusion fight off his minions. He smiled as she held her own against his nether creatures.
"Impressive." He spoke softly.
Pyro leaped from the balcony and took of his own creature. Knowing what they where he made used the same dark fire D'Arque used to start the fight. Blasting the creature with it's own element, Pyro ripped through the creature and glared at his nemesis.
"I banished you from this realm D'Arque... How have you...?" Pyro said interrupted.
D'Arque held up the crystal staff and smiled. "I have the staff..." D'Arque said with a pleasant grin on his face.
"The staff of Shimmeron!?" Pyro paused for a second. He looked to Seclusion, a look of concern on his face. He then focused his attention on his opponent. "Your delving in magic you can't control!" Pyro stated, his gloves igniting as he focused.
"Am I?" D'Arque replied as he shot his nether fire at Pyro. As its roared through the air Pyro held his arms up and caught the fire. Every piece of his upper clothing disintegrated, leaving his upper body naked and exposed. "And what about you?" D'Arque shouted, staring at the runes on Pyro. "What does the great Archmage Pyro have to wear runes for? A practice common in adolescent teen boys. Do you think they'll protect you!?" He screamed as he hurled more fire towards Pyro.
Pyro's defensive stance was taking a toll. The fire ripped most of Pyro's clothes off, leaving him with no shoes and half burned pants. Pyro's breathing stayed slow as he watched his opponents moves.
The theater was burning around them and fiery ceiling started to fall down around them. Pyro remembered his teammate was still with him.
"Just as this theater burns down so won't your little empire you built Pyro! Soon these people will bow to me, to a new Archmage." D'Arque said pointing his staff at Seclusion. "Let's start with your new pet." He added as the cyrstal staff started to light up.
Pyro did not hesitate, releasing his fire on D'Arque. The blast sent the dark wizard back, slamming him against the wall. The man only laughed. "Oh... you must like this one..." He said short of breath. Pyro was silent, marching forward with flames in his eyes. Pyro wrapped one hand around D'Arque's neck and practically lifted him off the ground. "This is... A new trick..." D'Arque continued to snicker in his grasp for air. "I have... One too."
The crystal staff shaped itself into a kind of spear. D'Arque then forced it into Pyro's side, stabbing Pyro and puncturing his kidney. Pyro's grasp immediately loosened and Pyro fell, holding himself up on D'Arque.
As blood filled Pyro's body he started to choke. D'Arque pulled him close as he held him up.
"Your time is up... Old friend." D'Arque said as he pulled the staff out of Pyro, letting him fall to his knees. The wizard then ran out of the building as it started to collapse.
"Se...clu..." Pyro tried to speak, but was dieing from the smoke and the internal bleeding. Pyro wasn't going to make it, he had to think fast. He reached in his pocket and grabbed a business card for a restaurant called "The Boiling Cauldron" and held it in his hand for her. When she finally grabbed it, he only had one word for her. "Go..."
"Impressive." He spoke softly.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Having focused on the last one she hadn’t quite noticed until a certain scent reached her nose making her turn instantly. She could smell the flames, she gave a hiss of warning when the staff was aimed at her but jerked suddenly. She noticed the other mage leaving and went over to Pyro kneeling down in front of him looking to the card briefly, She found the injury herself. “Don’t speak think, why should I go there?” she asked, the soul was connected to the mind, if he thought about it she could find a reason for it easily. “Would you like a quick ending” she said, one thing all Utopians had was a strong compassion, if someone they knew was dying slowly they would offer them a quick end, plus even if she did heal him he wouldn’t make it.
She looked to the card once more looking to it thinking slightly before she got her answer from him, both… doing as she was told she gave him a quick ending if he wanted one, she could not heal internal injuries with her threads, they would not last inside the body since they would use up far too much of the required energy that she needed just to keep living. She left just before the building collapsed completely on her and went to the Restaurant wondering why on earth he had given such a weird last request. She folded her wings in the hound walked at her feet; she hadn’t exactly gotten an answer from him at all and was a little unhappy about that. She walked into the restaurant quite curiously, she hadn’t really stepped foot in one mostly because she could not eat the food they severed there, solid food did not agree with her… unlike most Utopians, she could not eat it or it would make her gravely ill and possible kill her if she ate too much, she could eat small things but never a full meal or even part of one. She looked aroudn seaching mostly through souls "Why on earth did he say to come here" she muttered.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
The restaurant was empty, the only person was one man sitting near the kitchen door. The man was average height, balled, and was wearing a white robe. He was slowly spooning soup into his mouth, looking like he was weak and needed the food, when Seclusion walked through the door. As she entered he looked up, she would recognize his fiery red eyes. It was Pyro.
Pyro was there, right in front of her eyes. As she moved closer she would notice her family crest on his chest, along with the other runes. And he was not his normal commanding self, Pyro looked weak and frail. As Pyro looked up and saw Seclusion he smiled, he was happy and relieved to see her.
Pyro started to stand up, his legs looked a little shaky as he stood to greet her. His arms flew open to try to embrace her, but slowly Pyro started to fall.

She rested her head to one side looking at him curiously before she recognised him, not only by the eyes but through the memories she could pick up. She blinked “Pyro…” she said the wolf also quite shocked... “Hmm, been some times since such a thing happened” said the old white wolf. She soon noticed he wasn’t herself and went over. She moved quite quickly when he began to fall and looked at him quite concerned. “Be careful, even I can tell you’re not yourself” she said to him softly he had pretty much fallen on her and rustled her wings on her back. “Maybe somewhere a bit safer would be better for you” she raised moving a hand to touch his forehead, her fingers ice cold to the touch, not something anyone would expect at all.
Lucky it was still dark, she didn’t understand what was happening at all and thought a little, where would be safe, if that mage from before found him in this state he would end up dead... again. She looked to Deadly for answers the old wolf giving her a look, “You know where is safe, you stayed there for a fair amount of time unseen, hidden" said the old white wolf, "First of all you need to finish eating, you look awful to be honest" he said bluntly to him and helped him sit down so he wouldn't fall again. She sat on the chair oposite folding her wings and crossing her arms as she waited for him to finish what he was eating. Deadly lay at her feet. "Explain how your here alive when only a few moments ago you were crumbled under an old theatre ,Also would you like to go back to the others?" she said not sure what to do really if he wanted to go back sure she would make sure he got their safely although she had no idea why she was like this..."Honestly, you are so much like him" she muttered letting ehr wings fall limp and rest from the flying.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
Pyro was quiet, he just stared at Seclusion as she asked her questions.
After the long pause an older woman stormed through the kitchen doors, fallowed by a young man and a young woman. She hadn't noticed Seclusion as they burst through the doors. The old woman had grey hair and was wearing a long beautiful robe. The other two were in plain grey robes.
"Make sure he keeps drinking the soup. His body and his souls needs the nourish...." She stopped, putting her arm across the younger woman.
The young man quickly placed himself in a fighting stance and started to wave his hands as to cast a spell. "How did this one get in, aren't we protected?"
The older women recognized Seclusion's family crest on her scarf. She placed her arm across the young man. "Stop! She's a friend." The older women looked at Seclusion to address her. "You must be Seclusion. We weren't going to meet until tomorrow. You must understand this was a surprise to us all. The guild is in an uproar right now. Fallow me. These two students can tend to Master Pyro. He'll be fine, dieing takes a lot out of someone." She said as she started to walk through the kitchen.

Re: A new power (OPEN)
She looked to the old women “I can see that, I am not blind you know” she said bluntly and in a bit of a harsh tone, the day was getting closer and she wanted her sleep. She looked to the young man giving a fierce hiss and even Deadly stood up snarling until he was stopped. “I can imagine, it would” she knew that fact quite well, something else she had hidden in her past. Standing up Deadly stayed just to be sure the old wolf having drifted to a light doze anyway. She followed in silence not making a single noise as though to listen. “What is it?” she asked rustling her hair a little. “What is it you have to say?” she asked the old women politely, they had been taught to respect elders, unless they felt there was no reason to.
“and I understand the surprise, I was told to come here so I came, I had time before the dawn came and I prefer not to move during the day” she said, she had her reasons for only moving at night. “Now then what is it?” she asked once more impatient as always.
Deadly awakened and walked through to where Seclusion was and nipped at her gently "Honestly be more polite" she said before she went back to where Pyro was looking at him breifly checking and put her paws on the table to sniff his hands as if to confirm it really was him. Getting an answer she turned outside and flicked her wings a little before she walked outside, she sniffed the air adn let her eyes wonder before she raised her gaze to the red dawn that came upon the new day. Walking inside again she spoke "This place isn't safe" she said bluntly "And i'm going to get some sleep."
