Re: (Reserved for SJ)
"You're welcome, ass." Damien mumbled to himself. How rude. The boy was a fool to think that the albino prick would actually be GRATEFUL for him saving his life. A 'thank you' is all he actually expected but nope, guess not. Too high of an expectation probably.
The other wasn't Damien's favorite person obviously, but he was still a human being with a right to live, nonetheless. As much as Damien sorta regretted saving him, he would regret it even more if he had to attend a fellow student's funeral.
Damien sat at the edge of the pool in thought until the gym teacher snapped him out of his daze. Just because someone nearly drowned doesn't mean class is over. The gym teacher motioned him to jump in the pool to do a few rounds. 'At least I can swim in a straight line...' Damien thought as he jumped right into the water.

Re: (Reserved for SJ)
By the time Xander returned from the changing room, hair drying, warm normal clothes on, he noticed Damien in the pool swimming. He rolled his eyes as he saw the straight line the other swam, wondering if the other boy was silently mocking him. It definitely wasn't his fault today was off. It totally couldn't be his fault he didn't swim in the straight line he had to. He was way too cool for that.
So maybe he was a bit clumsy. Maybe he was also a bit uncoordinated, too. Swimming wasn't his strongest point, really. Running wasn't bad, but he hated the effort and sweating. Maybe he could out-do the other in a different gym-activity.
He waited on the bleachers until the coach called them in, telling them to shower and change quickly before the class was over. Xander found it funny how he gave them five minutes to change into bathing suits but ten to fifteen to change out. It just gave them more time to goof off.
He kept an eye on Damien when he got out of the pool, wanting to follow him into the changing room, despite how strange that thought was.

Re: (Reserved for SJ)
As everyone was changing back into their regular school clothes and exiting the locker rooms, Damien took his sweet time slipping out of his swim trunks in the showers. He really didn't want to go to his next class. The warm water from the shower faucet felt so much more relaxing than that spine chilling ice block the coach called a pool.
The soaked shorts dropped to the tiled floor and Damien just spent the next five minutes rinsing the chlorine out of his slick black hair. Even though the shower itself was nice, the feeling that he was being watched made him feel a tad bit uneasy.

Xander couldn't help the steep rising in his curiosity as he watched the other boy strip and shower. He hoped no one else was watching him watch someone else. That would be incredibly strange, if watching someone wasn't strange enough. His eyes scanned over the pale skin of the dark haired boy, taking in the shape of his lithe form. He couldn't help but spot the bruises they'd left on his skin, but that was done and over now. No sense in wishing something could be taken back once it was done.

Damien was sure he was being watched at that point. The feeling just wouldn't go away and it grew stronger and stronger every second. He even had the urge to cover himself a bit but that would've been silly. The shower door was tall enough to protect his privacy, right? Though, it wouldn't hurt to look around to make sure.

Re: (Reserved for SJ)
There was more than one way to peek into a shower stall. Yes, Xander was glad to be tall enough to peek over with the help of standing on top of a bench. Yes, he could also easily duck down and peek from underneath the stall's raised edges. Or he could take the more direct method of spying and crawl in, even if he did get his knees a little wet.
He debated how much he wanted to crawl in and get sprayed though. Damien might even push him under the water stream if he was mad enough. Perhaps Xander owed him a little privacy since he saved him, thus Xander did not crawl in and join him. Instead he leaned against the stall wall and waited patiently.

Even after peeping over the door and seeing no on there, Damien still wasn't convinced. He waited a few more minutes before shutting the water off. Damien then pressed his ear against the door, listening for breathing, while he held his own so he wouldn't confuse himself. It didn't take long before he caught the sound of someone's breath.
"AHA!" Damien shouted, pushing the stall door open and sliding out to catch the stalker, not caring whether or not he was wearing a towel.
