The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel was in her room perched on her window seat high up in one of the many towers in her father’s castle. She was watching the people down below. From way up here no one could see the ugly scar that ran from her ear from under the chin. She brought a slender finger to it and traced it tenderly. She closed her eyes and was flooded with flashbacks of that awful day, the screams, the smell, the pressure of them on top of her. Suddenly she popped her eyes open again. And let the hand drop, she hated the scar. It was never stitched up properly therefore it never fully healed.
She looked down and solemnly watched as more slaves were brought into her fathers’ castle. She was angry; she didn’t like the fact that her father had so many slaves, or servants as he so graciously called them. She couldn’t understand why that just because they were royalty that they should be exempted from hard work. As a princess though it was excepted of her to remain helpless and allow the servants to do almost every little thing. Although when ever her father and older brothers were away she would help the servants with their daily chores, even give them days off.
She watched as one of the servants stumbled her heart ached for him. She wanted to call out to them to make them stop but no one would be able to hear her from way up here. She gasped as the sheriff struck the one man; she made a mental note to talk about it with him later. No man, servant or free deserved to be struck for no reason and she would let this head guard know that. Gabriel smiled at that fact, she was the only one she knew that could unleash her anger on a man and get away with it. But such treatment of a man that did nothing wrong was not to be tolerated in her mind. Gabriel rose and lifted up the many petticoats. All floor length and wrist length so nothing showed, as was the custom. The first was a skin tight, thinning garment, after that were three more layers alternating in blues and purples, the final layer a white petticoat fastened with a family hair loam broach on top of her head a bonnet tied behind her head her long blonde hair all tucked in it.
She took one last look in the mirror grimaced as she always did at her scar. Maybe Anrew was right maybe God punished her for being vain. But Gabriel had to wonder when would the punishment be over? She had lost everything that day, he innocence, her purity and even her pledged husband whom even left a hefty dowry saying that the devil had marked her and he wanted nothing to do with it. That he had been promised a pure wife not some common slut. So she had decided that she would become a midwife, and never marry. It had not been her fault, but had she been anything but royalty she would have been stoned to death.
There was a knock on her door she went to answer it. Her own maid was there, although she hated that word “Good evening Martha” Gabriel smiled “Dinner time already?” Martha nodded and she walked down stairs to the great hall to eat with her family.
She sat down in her seat Glancing up there was a servant standing beside her; it was the man whom she witnessed being beaten earlier. She could tell that he was flustered, she took pity on him and lightly pointed to the spot where the tray he was holding went. Her brother across the table gave her a swift kick in the calf for assisting the help, instantly Gabriel returned the painful kick as her dark glare consumed him. She would not be punished for being a kind person, especially not by her brother. John her older brother laughed at the wincing Andrew and Gabriel smiled at him. Andrew could always make her smile, latly he had been the only one to be able to do so.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation had never been so angry or upset in his entire 18 years of life. As an orphan he was easily picked by the royal family as a slave, the fact that he looked different then everyone else didn't help either...His silver hair glistened in the sun and his pink hues glared at anyone. Ever since his father was killed for talking back at a royal gaurd to when his mother killed herself after Revelation's brother died. He had been able to hide himself in his small house for more then he thought he would be able to...but he wasn't surprised he was found...and when he was told he would be a slave...he would have much rather had the death penatly then have to work for the rest of his life for the spoiled king and his family...no good could come of it...
He stumbled slightly as he walked towards the castle, he hadn't had food in a long time and was dizzy, he couldn't help it...He winced even before struck as he saw the gaurd's shadow approach him, he looked up, expecting the worse, just to be struck on the cheek. He felt the red mark form but didn't do anything...he didn't want to meet the same fate as his father so he continued to follow them into the castle.
There were a few other slaves and they were all extremely timid and quiet. Revelation let his eyes rest on all of them as they coward away from the gaurd as he walked by each, he was giving them instructions now. They were to help with the royal family's dinner. It didn't seem hard and it would be Revelation's first job as un...uggh...slave...he hated to admit it...but that was what he was now and he couldn't stop it now...
He looked at the tray in his hand then to the table...wherewas he supposed to put it again? He frowned slightly this was a lot more difficult then he thought it would be. He looked at the young princess that sat in the chair he was standing next to, she motioned to a spot, obviously where it was supposed to go. To afraid to nod he sent his thanks through his pink eyes and put the tray down. Mere minutes ago he had been forced into clothes that were more 'suitable' to be seen in...he didn't really see the difference...but he guessed the garments were...cleaner then what he had been wearing before.
He quietly went back to the corner the other servents stood in and waited to be called back at the end of the meal to clean up. He tried his hardest not to look at all the food on the table it made him think of how much pain his stomach was in from lack of food. So instead his gaze rested on every person in the room. All the royalty, the slaves, the gaurds...the only one that seemed at all nice was the princess...but it wouldn't matter would it...it wasn't like he was allowed to mingle with the royalty...

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel kept her head low to her plate and remained silent not saying anything during the meal. Eating quickly but very much as she was trained; feminine like. This was men time; she would not talk unless she was spoken to, if she was spoken to.. Her brothers were visiting from their own homes, with out their wives or offspring so that either meant they just came back from battle or were planning to engage. And since neither had blood or fresh wounds she came to the conclusion that battle was close.
Gabriel finished what was on her plate and turned to her mother silently asking to be relived of having to hear the detail of the carnage her two brothers planned to unleash. Her mother nodded and Gabriel stood and walked outside the sun was setting therefore she knew that barely anyone would be walking around. She felt safer at this time, no one to look and point, no kids to run away from her screaming. The golden hues in the setting sun, made the sky appear to be on fire, Gabriel took a few deep-cleansing breaths of air.
“Miss Gabriel” Martha’s voice brought Gabriel back to earth, Gabriel turned “Excuse me but I have been sent to fetch you to say farewell to your father and brothers” Gabriel silently nodded and followed Martha into the dinning hall again. She knelt to her brother “God be with you Andrew” She pecked him on the cheek he gripped her arm roughly “Never kick me again Gabriel, you need to learn your place, the help doesn’t not need help a few beatings and he will learn his place” Gabriel wincing at his roughness pulled out of it. “Have a successful battle” Gabriel managed to say through the clenched teeth. She turned to her eldest brother, and hugged him. “I will be praying for you John” It was no secret that John and Gabriel were close. He smiled and whispered in her ear “I will get him for that mark my words, he is just young he does not know any better” Gabriel smiled “Thank-you”
She bowed her head to her brothers. And walked back outside. The sun was almost completely gone now; darkness began to envelop the land. She would go to bed soon she just wanted to give the servants time to prepare her bath and champers for bed. She sat upon a low stone fence and rubbed her arms, she knew she would have a bruise there. She leaned against one of the pillars and closed her eyes, catching the last few rays of golden sunlight before it disappeared completely behind the rolling hills. She quickly scampered inside then, she didn’t like the dark, bad things happened in the dark.
Once inside Gabriel walked into the dinning room. There sat John, seemingly to be lost in his thoughts as his hands gently shook upon the table. He would not sleep this night; she knew that his fatigued state and nervousness on the morrow could only breed disaster. Gabriel lowered her eyes for a moment, trying to remove such unpleasant thoughts. “John” Gabriel put her slender hand on his shoulder “are you alright?”
Her brother completely surprised that she was still awake. “What are you doing up Gabriel, you should be in bed” She smiled and knelt down and kissed his forehead. “Fare thee well Andrew, I will keep an eye on the horizon for you” She wished that she could tell him to go to bed and get some sleep but she knew that would be useless he wouldn’t listen to her. He clasped her small fragile hand in his larger, rough skinned hand and brought it to his lips for a gentle kiss.
Gabriel smiled and left her brother sitting there. It was not a woman’s place to press anything. She walked up the stairs and into her fathers study he was seated there and allowed her to enter. Gabriel curtsied “Father some new servants have arrived today, the one that helped serve dinner” Her father nodded knowing what was coming. “Aye my daughter he is yours” Gabriel smiled “Mine completely right?” Her father nodded this would mean that Gabriel would be in charge of him, “The only thing daughter you can not release him” She nodded and raced out of her fathers study in search of him.
She found Martha, “Martha the newest member of staff is to be mine, please send him to my chambers” Martha looked shocked “Miss that isn’t proper” Gabriel just smiled “Oh Martha I only wish to met him, and for him to met me, and for him to eat of course’ ‘I had cook put aside some food for you and the others, it is in the normal spot please bring it up to my chambers so he may eat. Make sure the others eat as well please. She had always had the cooks put away something, For she hated how much food went to waste. She would try and make sure that her father’s…workers would have food then she would get someone to hand any of the rest to the poor of the surrounding areas. Her father did not know of this but Gabriel invoked her power of a “princess” to have this done. Her father could not say no to her anyways, he was his only daughter and she played on that a lot. The food arrived shortly after and she paced in her room waiting for the knock on her door singling that he had arrived.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation waited for the family to finish there dinner in scilence. He pondered thoughts on his future, about the horrid tasks he would probably be put up to while working here. He only looked up as movement took place. The princess excused herself frpm the room. Revelation hadn't noticed the scar on her face until now. He cocked a silver eyebrow, but said nothing, he would never say anything about it. He waited for the rest to finish.
A very short time after that the few servents in the corner were called forth to clear the table, Revelation stepped forward and did his work quickly. He picked up bits of their conversation. A battle...Revelation again wouldn't say or show how he felt about this matter, he had no athority...so he continued to work in scilence. The fact was this place had him scared...he had never been this scared. After living by himself for so long...he didn't think anything woulf frighten him like this.
After bringing the dirtied plates to the kitchen to be washed by others, he was brought to wear he would stay when not working. The room was small and made of stone. The ceiling was high and their lighting would be a small slit in the stone and the very top of the room, not even think enough to fit his arm through if he could reach. Other then that, the room had three straw beds for the 8 people in here to share. Nothing else was in this room. Revelation's jaw stiffened at the sight of it. A thin dark haired man sat in one of the corners, leaning against the wall his head in his knees. Another blonde man paced back and forth before being told by the gaurd who escorted Revelation and his group, to follow him which he did gratefully. Revelation sighed as he looked around a bit more. There was practically no light as the door was shut behind the others as they left, night must have been fast approaching.
Revelation sat against one wall leaning his head back as he thought. The others were just as, or more quiet then he was, they had all been here longer, they knew they had no place, they wouldn't speak. Their faces were emotionless. The way Revelation expected was proper...He was not looking forward to his life...he would much rather face an untimely death.
He had no idea how long it had been as he sat there. He would probably have to try sleeping soon when there was a knock and the door opened slowly. He looked up with a cocked eyebrow. The lady that walked in didn't look like the royalty, and the air she gave off didn't have athority...she was another slave... she approached Revelation and he stood up, not quite sure what to expect. She told him that the princess would like to see him in her chambers and a shocked look covered Revelation's face. The princess wanted to see him. The lady continued to say that he was to be 'hers'...a possesive word...so he belonged to the princess...the questions that ran through his mind...did he belong to her and her alone? was this a good thing? would he be able to stand being a 'slave' if he was to serve the princess?
He was escorted by the slave whos name was Martha to the princess's chambers. But she quickly left and Revelation cocked his eyebrow before looking back at the large door. He sighed slightly and knocked on the door. He wondered briefly what she would want with him...but nothing came to mind as he waited for the door to open.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel was pacing in her room waiting for him. There was so much she wanted to discuss. First she would make sure that he was fed and any wounds taken care of. She wanted to make sure also that he felt comfortable wth her. She wasn’t anything like her family, only her and John were the same. They were barely a year apart and they had gotten along welll, the baby of the family Andrew however…her thoughts trailed off. She begain thinking about this war that they were marching off too. It was her fault that it was happening, and any deaths would be on her shoulders. She brought a hand to her scar again. Aye this was all her fault. She should had died that day. But instead John had to kill someone and a peace treaty had been broken.
Gabriel nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the knock on the door, she softly scampered over to the door made sure a stand of hair covered her scar reached for the door and pulled it open. She greated the new servant with a smile and ushered him into the room. “Good evening” She was nervous, she honestly did not like having people wait on her, but also she needed someone to protect her if she ever went out during the day. Even though she was still a princess she had rocks thrown at her. She never did report it for attack on the royal family ment certain death.
As he stood there Gabriel smiled “I had cooks put aside some food, a little secert, I always make sure you are all well fed” She moved away from the door and allowed him to enter if he so wanted. “I am Gabriel, I hate it but when we are around others you must call me Miss Gabriel, but when we are alone, please don’t, it’s a vial tittle and I destest it” She looked at him. “I have personally requested you, I saw how the gaurds treated you when you first arrived and it broke my heart.” She paused. “No one should be treated like that” She again motioned to the plate of food at her vanity table. “I do not require much, I mainly need someone to talk to, I get very lonley-“ She stopped short and blushed, she had already said too much.
After a few moments she looked back up at him.. “Please eat, and tel me a bit about yourself, and in time I will do the same” She sat down in a plush chair beside her vanity table. “Honestly I am nothing like most of the people you will find here, I hope in time you can come to see that"

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation stepped into the room almost hesitantly. She told him about the food and his eyes brightened the slightest amount...she wasn't like other royalty...he had never heard of the servents being fed well he took a step towards the vanity table and looked at the plate of food before turning back to Gabriel he bowed slightly to show his respect and how grateful he was, "Thank you, mi-...Gabriel" he said the smallest of smiles crossing his face for a moment. He watched her happily as she spoke, yet none of the happiness he felt showed on his features. as she finished and told him to eat he took a seat beside her. He picked something off the plate popping it quickly into his mouth...he then realized just how hungry he was...he swallowed and let out a short sigh as she said to tell her a bit about himself.
"My name is Revelation..." he started. He looked at the ceiling, trying to think of a good way to continue, "Well...I'm an orphan...my father was killed for talking back to a royal gaurd and my mother killed herself after my brother died from illness..." he didn't see a reason not to say this, she seemed nice, he felt like he could tell her these things without being ridiculded, "I lived on my own for a long time...and i'm surprised i wasn't killed or put to work earlier." he finished this statement with a sigh, "Other then that...there isn't really anything else to say..." he picked up more food and ate it quietly as he waited for her to shower him with pity...he didn't like it, it made him feel weak...he wasn't weak, he knew that...but he was treated as though he were.
Eating anything felt great...she really was a nice person...he didn't need time to figure this out...though...she was royalty he couldn't completely trust her at the moment. His rose hues looked at her face. He remebered the scar he had seen at dinner which now was concealed by a lock of hair, for a moment he wondered where she might have gotten it...but she was being so nice to him...a comment about it might ruin this. He finished the food in front of him and folded his hands in his lap. His pale skin looked so odd...everyone was darker then he was, everyone had colour in their hair...no one had pink eyes...why did he have to be so different...

He finished the food in front of him and folded his hands in his lap. His pale skin looked so odd...everyone was darker then he was, everyone had colour in their hair...no one had pink eyes...why did he have to be so different...
Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel smiled as he sat down, then winced ever so often if she smiled a certain way it strung. The tears brimmed her eyes but she brushed them away and turned her attention to him. She had seen the way his eyes had lite up even in the sligtest way, her heart ached for him, but she did not let it on. She didn’t want him to think that she pityed him, surely his pride was already suffered enough being captured.
“Revelation” She repeated, she always used first names around here she figured it was more proper. As he told his story Gabriel kept a straight face, although the anger was boiling in side of her. The royal gaurds…her royal gaurds were responsible for how horrible his life was. She was very good at hidding her feelings though. She had been trained from a very young age to hide anytye of emotion and this was one of the first times that it had helped her.
“Well Relvelation, I am sure that you were told that I have requested you personally” She paused and went to a large door connected to her room and opened onto another bed room, it was not as lavish as hers but it had large windows, a fire place, and bed that was actually off the ground. “I do hope that your quarters are acceptable”
She looked at the floor. “I need you close by in the nights I do hope that is okay” She returned to her chair and looked up at him. “I want you to come to me if you want anything” She paused. “I am not able to give you your freedom, or I would have freeed all of my father’s slaves” She wringed her hands. “But anything else please do not be afaird to ask me, you are only accountable to me”
She paused. “I have two personal gaurds Alec and Bodrick but they will not bother you.” She sat back in her chair not wanting to flood him with too much information. In time she would tell him where she got the scar, and why her brothers and father were raging war. In time…

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation was slightly when he couldn't see any pity on her face...but was sure it had to be pent up somewhere. He let out a short sigh then let his eyes follow her, when she said he had probably heard the he had been personally requested he nodded. She opened the doors he hadn't noticed before...his own quaters...he wasn't forced to stay with other slaves. His eyes opened wide and his jaw stiffened as he resisted the urge to gape at the room on the other side of the door...he got to LIVE there...it was better then where he had lived even before he was chosen as a slave. He quickly regained his emotionless features as he looked at Gabriel.
"Thank you very much, Gabriel." He said sincernly in his deep voice, "I must admit...the prospect of serving you is not looking as grim as i thought it would. This could even be better then my freedom...at least this way i won't be alone and starved..." a smile flicked across his features for an instant...what he said was true. His life of loneliness would be over while he stayed here...though alone mentally he could at least live in a place where other people lived...even if it meant he had to serve these people.
He looked at her for a moment as she sat back down next to him before looking down at the floor. He wasn't worried about her gaurds...if he was lucky he would rarely have to encouter them anyway. He looked at her again..."Why are you so nice to the people who are only meant to serve you and nothing more...?" he asked this...though he wouldn't complain...he would never complain about such luck. She was probably the nicest person he had met...
He glanced out the window. It was dark as pitch outside though he wasn't exactly sure of the time. The only light from outside was that from the beautiful white, glistening stars and the moon, the same colour as his hair. The beauty of the sky was so serene it calmed him completely, when he looked at the night sky, nothing was going wrong. He continued his star gazing for a while longer before turning his attention back to the princess to await her answer, the calming affect the sky had on him got rid of any fear that might have still been inside him and he swore a smile crossed his face.
((*sigh* im not going to be able to keep my posts this long forever i might go insane so if i suddenly have short posts im srry in advance ^_^'))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel was pleased that Revelation seemed to be a little more relaxed when he found out were he would be staying. She couldn’t help but relived. She still worried about what would happen, once she fell asleep and his duties really started, wakining her from her nightmares. She had told her gaurds that they had stoped when in realitly they had only gotten worse, each night her mind forced her to replay that horrific day. The colour had drained from her face. But she shock her head to rid her self of the memories.
She turned her attention again to him. “Revleation I want you to feel comfortable here, you will not be alone, the servantswill warm up to you eventually, things have been really tence around here latly” She paused and sighed this was going to be really hard for her. “Revlation I have something to tell you. And it may change your thoughts but I feel that it must be said. Especially tonight when I will need you to pull me from the darkness that comsumes me each night.”
She rose that walked to the window. “This war that my brothers and father and man others are marching tommrow, is my fault” She couldn’t bring herself to look at him “After what I tell you, I give you premission to refuse to be my servant, you wouldn’t be the first” She took a deep breath and recited her story.
Her eyebrows furrowed deeply as the images of the horrific day replayed in her mind. “It had been a beautiful day; the golden sun was shinning brightly without a cloud in the blue sky. The flowers had finally bloomed leaving a sea of purples, blues, and yellows on the rolling hills behind the castle.” She paused; she could smell the flowers, feel the breeze on her soft skin.
She looked up at Revelation and continued her story “ I had once again snuck out of the castle and made it all the way to the stable where Connor the stable hand was and I convinced him that I could go for a ride with out my normal protection and he reluctantly readied my mare a beautiful horse that I had named Alexia. The day was too gorgeous to spend coped up in the castle.” She stood at this point and began to pace “I explained to Connor, to ease his nerves he promised that I had never seen him. And I asked him to wait till the men came back from training to mention that Alexia was gone. My father, John, and Andrew were all away in the fields training the new recruits. I packed a small lunch into my saddle bag and mounted Alexia, bidding fare well to Connor I trotted out to the stable taking it slow and making sure that no one was coming, then I turned down the path urging Alexia into a gallop and I let my long blonde hair out of their braids so they could blow in the wind behind me.. After a while I heard Alexia panting so I slowed down and just admired the countryside. The rolling hills that seemed to go on forever the fresh spring wild flowers.”
She closed her eyes at this moment remembering the sights oh how she missed it. “After a long cold winter the colors were a welcomed sight I made a mental note to pick some for later I always love having fresh flowers around” She paused now, there had been no fresh flowers in the castle since that day. “I turned around on Alexia, the castle was out of sight by now and I finally took a deep breath in and relaxed. We traveled for about half an hour more before stopping by a brook. I dismounted, took out my lunch from the saddle bag and sat down on the grass taking off my sandals and I dipped my feet in the bitter cold waters while Alexia drank from it. I opened up the small satchel that held my meal”
She paused to allow time for him to process it she knew she was rambling but she needed to get it all out. “Anyways I am getting off track I remember handed an apple to Alexia she always liked treats, but I was sure not to spoil her. I remember slowly eating the bread and cheese with the little bit of meat I remember closing my eyes. I remember the peacefulness the relaxing sound of the gently babbling creek the light neighing of Alexia. Somewhere in the distance somewhere the returning birds chirped a greeting to one and other. I loved the sounds of nature loved laying down in the grass to stare up into sky.”
She brought a hand to the unscarred side of her face as she continued the story “I remember the warmth of the sun on my face how it caused me to become drowsy, so I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.”
Gabriel became very quiet now, he eyes had glazed over and she had shivered, not from the cold, but she was coming to the hard part in her story. She took a deep breath and continued her story with misty eyes. “Suddenly I awoke, the sun was setting I guess I had been asleep for hours, my face was burning, I was sure I had burned it.. Alexia had moved underneath a tree but as I sat up she trotted over and nudged me. She sensed something, if only I had known what she sensed” Again she paused looking at Revelation for the slightest encouragement, but him just being there helped lots. So she again took a deep breath and continued.
“The sun was sinking fast behind the hills and I did not want Connor to be in trouble for letting me out with out my guards so I nervously mounted dear Alexia and urged her into a gallop and starting racing for home; something was wrong I could sense it, and all I wanted to get home and fast! But I was still a ways off the darkness was increasing it seemed be chasing me down. I remember looking all around her I felt like someone, was watching me suddenly. Then I felt a sharp pain in my thigh I was falling off of dear Alexia. With a hard thud I landed on the ground I was winded, couldn’t breath I was blinded by pain all I could do was lay there on the ground, my thigh was into much pain I couldn’t move it. I was not sure what had happened. I reached for my thigh and there sticking out of my thigh was an arrow!” She paused not wanting to flood Relelation with too much information.
“I knew not to pull it out, as much as it was hurting I knew that if I would pull it out the blood would begin pouring out and I could die from blood loss. Out of nowhere these men appeared running towards me, at first I thought they were there to help me, but then I was being attacked! Two of the men grabbed my arms and pinned them above my head as I struggled in vain the other one mounted me and sat on my chest making it even more difficult to breath.”
She again looked at Revelation , and pulled in her arms close. “I can still remember his voice, so cold, so filled with malice. “ She shuddered again and with strange accuracy mimicked his words. ‘Hello princess a little far from home aren’t you?’ “The voice held a heavy accent, like those of the rebels the greatly feared and brutal men. I struggled and started yelling, pleading for anyone to help me. But I was far from home way too far for anyone to hear my screams. The man on top of me slapped me across the face hard making my painful sunburn feel even more like it was on fire. I remember looking up and there stood the tallest hairiest man I had ever seen. The evil men that were holding me down had their attention on what I guessed was their leader. I did not understand what was going on…until the leader” She scoffed at that word. . “As the man stood I suddenly knew what was going to happen, My stomach went into convulsions as he began to undo the belt.”
She paused again her breathing coming more ragged “I remember screaming ‘No please NO, somebody help me’ I remember violently kicking me legs, twisting and turning trying desperately to get away but the ones holding me down were too strong, I was not strong enough to get away, if only I had been stronger”
She paused again looking at Revelation before continuing “That main man now stood there with his hands on his stomach nude from the waist down. I struggled to look away but one of the disgusting men behind me used his short blade and cut deep into my cheek running from my jaw line to my ear, I cried out in pain. As they did it the tears now pouring down my face. They all laughed. Then told me that they wouldn’t want me to miss anything, so pay attention or I will do the same to the other side” So I was forced to look at the disgusting excuse for a man while he stood there now stroking his member slowly eagerly licking his lips. Before I could even close my eyes he knelt down and tore my dress down the middle then stood again leaving me exposed and unprotected pinned there. I automatically brought up my legs trying to protect myself. But he brought his strong hands to my knees and pushed them apart roughly. I then closed her eyes and prayed to God that he would send someone to save me from this. I had given up fighting, I felt the man lay on top of me his sticky skin pressed up against my flawless body his tongue licking my face, down my neck. Then he moved to my ear and asked a sickening question ‘Are you ready to be raped Princess?’ I wanted to bite his tongue off but I couldn’t move anymore the tears were streaming down my face, as he began to move his hips ready to penetrate my virginity. I took a deep breath in and spat right in the face of the man that was ready to steal my innocence from me. As soon as I had done that I regretted it his fists were all over me beating my face my breasts my rib cage. I cried out with each punch, then he knelt down and with one sudden surge his entire member was in me. I screamed out until my voice was horse. The pain was indescribable I closed my eyes tight pleading with God to make it stop.”
She paused again looking down at her feet ashamed of the tears pouring down her cheeks again. But she had to finish the story had to finish why it was her fault. “Then I heard the most welcomed noise.. Horse hooves, at least twenty, I heard John’s, wonderful battle cry slice through the laughter of the other men., I dared to open my eyes in time to see three of my solders drag him off of me, the ones that had held on to me had tried to retreat but more men had caught them and sliced their stomachs leaving them to bleed to death. I was curled into the fetal position ashamed of my men seeing me in such a state of undress. Suddenly I was being covered in my brothers’ plaid and being lifted up. I remember him holding me walking over my attackers, who were all begging for death but no mercy would be shown to them “Its over Gabriel, Its over” My brothers voice just kept saying that while he rode back to the castle”
. “You see Revlation, the one that attacked me, raped me, was a lairds son, and the laird does not believe my story, he claims that I must of come on to his son, and that his sons innocent blood was split that day and since my father refused to have me stoned, war was declared” She paused looking up at him “So this war is my fault, if I had not gone ridding that day, if I had not slipped away from my guards, if I had not gone so far, If I had not fallen asleep if I wasn’t so weak and was able to fight them off. None of this would be happening” She fell silent then and waiting for his response. She was still recoiled against the wall to ashamed too at him as her tears ran down her face and off her chin. She had told the story many times, her brother, her father, to the counsel, but it never got easier. She dared to lift her head to look at him. She needed to know if he was going to be disgusted with her like all of the others.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation kept his eyes on her as she began her story...at first he wondered...how could her sneaking away from the castle to ride her horse possibly cause a war, he had even started to drift off in thought as her story didn't seem to be that bad...she rode very far from the castle and had lunch...he continued to look at her as she continued. The story began to get a little more odd as she said she got an arrow in the leg. Revelation features moved to show slight shock and confusion. As she continued...now she had his full attention...he was starting to see where war would start up...Then she started about the leader...she as starting to have troubles with what she was saying. He could quickly see why. His eyes opened wide and he wanted to gasp. Instead he looked down at the floor and ran a couple fingers over the side of his mouth...that was horrible. He chanced a glance up at her...she was leaning against the wall tears streaming down her face. So she had gotten that scar while being raped...it must be a horrible reminder of that day...and her memories seemed to vivid...it must not have been to long ago that this took place. She was almost done, he could tell as she started to say how her brother had found her.
Revelation stood up and took a couple steps towards Gabriel. He couldn't think of words to say. He was rather tall and 6'2" and now his neck was bent as he looked at the floor, taking in the whole of the story. He lifted an arm maybe an inch or so in front of himself before letting it drop back to his side, "I don't believe it was your fault..." he had wanted to hug the princess...but he was just a servent...and for all he knew she wouldn't want one anyone, after a scene like that it would be a miracle that she trusted men at all, "If the Laird failed to believe your story...then he was the one who brought this..." he raised his arm and placed his hand lightly on Gabriel's shoulder in a comforting manner, he wanted to comfort her someway...wash away her tears and pull her into a hug...but he couldn't bring himself to do that, "I won't leave...your story does not change how i feel..." he stated. His face hid ho he felt again, it would have been his turn to show sympathy, but he wouldn't, just the way she hadn't shown any to him.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel was grateful that he had remaind silent during her story. It would have been a lot harder to get through. It felt good to release it and even better to cry about it, for before she had not been allowed to cry. She wasn’t really allowed to show any negitive emotions. Before her attack she had been a little fire ball, that is why she had been able to sneak away. But since that day she had locked herself away, ddint help that the children ran from her screaming when she walked near. She had rocks thrown at her, it didn’t seem to matter that she was the princess, that she had helped them in the fields, played with their children, since that night. Her life had changed.
She watched as he stood, he was very tall, She allowed him to take a few steps toward him. She could tell that he wanted to comfort her. But other then her dear John no one had been able to touch her. Her tears had stopped. “Thank you for letting me tell my story” She forced a small smile. “And thank you for chosing to remain wth me” She did a very unlady like shrug. And looked up at him. “I told you my story this soon because, I may need you to awken me this night, I relive it everytime I lay down for the night” The dark circles under her eyes was evidence of nights of no or very little sleep.
She was grateful that he showed little sympathy, she wouldn’t know how to handle it. “Thank you again, I know you are displeased to be here, but I will try my best to make sure you are comfortable and treated properally” She yawned. “I think I am going to retire, I must be up before the sun to say farewell to my brothers and father. But I do not require your assistance till the sun is fully up, cook brings me breakfast.” She nodded “And I will make sure some is put in your room as well. “ She unbraided her hair and looked at the tub of steaming water. “Another perk to being requested by me is that you will have a hot bath nightly. If you so wish” She paused your bath should be ready for you, it will be carted away afterwords” She nodded. “Thank you again, and I do hope that you will soon feel more at ease here.”
She would now wait until he left then she would have her bath and then she would climb into bed, no telling how much sleep she could get tonight, she had given up on hopeing that the nightmares wouldn’t find her for they always did. No matter what. “Unless you wish for something, I do bide thee good night, it has been a trying day for you-“ She paused then she got all flustered “Oh dear you must think as me as terribly rude, Do you require attention to any of your wounds? I saw the gaurds mistreating you…anything you wish me to look over, I do have the training.” She chewed her bottom lip “Aye I know its not a traite that you would excpet in a princess but there are many things you will learn about me that go against the princess tittle."

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Reliving it every night...how horrible...Revelation had never been so grateful for his black, dreamless nights, “I do not want you to have to relive that, I will help as much as I possibly can…you deserve much more then just that for your kindness, Gabriel.” He said folding his arms across his chest. He tilted his head forwards and a few strands of his messy silver hair fell in front of his eyes as he listened to her speak.
“I’m sure I will be able to stand it her in time.” He said mainly to himself…reassuring himself that life her wouldn’t be that bad with such a kind princess. He looked to this room as she said she would be going to sleep. He nodded as she finished talking and started toward his room, stopping as she started to talk again, he sighed as he thought about how today had been so far…it hadn’t started all to bad…everything had just gone down hill. He tried not to think of it though. He started towards his bedroom again when she asked about his wounds.
He turned and looked at her with a faint smile, “No I don’t have any large wounds…nothing that won’t heal by itself.” He wasn’t a stranger to injury. He had never gotten real treatment before…and he had the scars to prove that, “Thank you, for offering though…I will leave you now then…sleep well Gabriel…” With that he walked to his bedroom, closing the door behind him.
He silently made his way to the bed that would be his. He sat down on it and put his head in his hands with a sigh. Maybe he would be able to stand staying here…but still the idea of being a slave irked him. He could be forced to do the biding of others…even if it was just the kind hearted princess…he thought back to the story he had told her. He shuddered at the thought…it really was a horrible, horrible thing…it was best he didn’t linger on it though.
He looked around and saw the tub of water he stepped towards its, running his hand through it. It felt nice maybe he should have a nice warm bath. He sighed and decided he would. He quickly slipped out of the clothing he had been given and got into the tub of water. His back and chest had the faint pale lines of scars all over. He let out another soft sigh as he looked at himself. He dunked his head in the water for a moment, lifting it out and running a hand through his now wet hair. He stayed in for a little while before getting out and putting his pants back on and slipping under the covers of his new bed…it really was better then what he had when he lived in the village. But even in the comfy bed…he didn’t plan to sleep this night. So he lay in the bed, his eyes closed but no sleep came to him. Images of what he thought for his future ran through his mind instead as he waited for the sun to rise and his first day of a slave to begin.
((srry it took so long...and its probably crap...))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel was grateful for his words. “I do not see myself as kind, I only do what I think is proper but I thank you. I prey thee good night.” She watched him leave wondering and hoping that in time if he would tell her stories about his life before he was captured. She loved to sit and listen to stories being told about other lives then hers. She longed to be back with her people, but the children were afraid of her now, and the adults looked at her with such disgust that she couldn’t stand being around them. It hurt too much. It was just easier to be hidden.
Gabriel stepped to her wash bucket took of her dresses and plaid and slipped into the hot water sighing softly as she lowered herself into it soaking for a few moments then taking the rose scented soap latered her body unbraiding her hair then washing it as well. She winced as she washed her arrow wound. She closed her eyes, it had been less then a fortnight since it happened. She had the mind sence to drink the herbs that would stop her from getting pregant for she wouldn’t be forced to marry that man, and if there was a child she would have been foced. After her bath she stood and dried herself dressed in her night gown and went to the door. As excpeted Bodrick and Ianwere standing guard there she smiled at them softly. “Good evening Ian and Bodrick, I am finished with my bath.” They both nodded and stepped in to take it away, normaly others did this work, but Gabriel didn’t want anyone else entering.
As they carted the water out she bid them good night Good night Ian, and Bodrick” she closed the door behind them. She looked longingly at the bed but instead of going to bed she went to her window seat wrapped herself in her plaid and sat there. She knew that before the sunrose the armies would be gathering to head to the battle and she wanted to see them off. Sleep would not come to her tonight. But that did not matter she sat there praying for her brothers, and father and the other men.
She closed her eyes just to rest them but before she knew it she head the clattering of horses hooves. She stretched and looked down from her window she noticed John mounted on his horse near the front of the big group “Please God, Please keep him safe” he hadn’t slept all night and deep down Gabriel knew something was going to happen so she sat there with her plaid wrapped around her for warmth and sadly watched as they and the top trained soldiers began there long journey, then John turned around on his horse and looked up at her window brought his fingers to his lips and then in her direction as if he was blowing a kiss she returned the motion as the tears began streaming down her face. She didn’t know how long she sat there staring after them the tears streaking down her face, pouring down her chin she didn’t bother to brush them away. “Please God, Please keep him safe”
After she could no longer see them she got up from her spot to her wash bucket splashing some of the cold water on her face and went into the dressing room, changed into her day gowns and opened the door a sign to anyone that was out there that she was ready for them to enter. It was clear in her face that she had not slept but it did not matter. She would not sleep much until her brothers and father were home safe.
She heard a knock on the door and she went to answer it. There stood Martha with her breakfast. “There be enough for two again” She stopped and looked at Gabriel “Miss have you been crying again?” Gabriel nodded. “Aye” Martha gently squeezed her shoulder. “I be saying again Gabriel, they need to be taught a lesson, you are not the first they did this too, but with your father, and John’s anger you will be the last” Gabriel nodded. “Thank you Martha,” She sat down at her Vanity table. “Revlation needs his rest, and since he is only looking after me, I wish him to be left alone, maybe the smells will awaken him

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation didn’t sleep through the entire night. He just lay there…thinking…he wished he hadn’t. That he had been able to get himself to sleep. As light started to seep through the window he wondered when he would have to get up. He was really starting to get comfortable lying there. His hands were entwined on his pale scar covered chest as he continued to look up at ceiling. Using one finger to trace the largest scar he had running from the left side of his collarbone to his right thigh…he had gotten it when he came home and saw his mother with a knife to her throat…while trying to stop her she cut him before slitting her own throat and bleeding to death in front of his eyes. The cut on him was long and deep, but not nearly deep enough for him to bleed to death before his father got home. He hadn’t needed to be stitched up…but it still left this scar…so he too had a reminder of a horrible day in his life imprinted on his body. He sighed and let his eyes close…just to rest them
After a little while longer he heard voices and smelled food from Gabriel’s room. He sat up and wondered if he should go see if he could enter. He was saying he shouldn’t he didn’t think she would want him to bother her during her breakfast…but she had said that she would have food brought for him. He sighed and decided he would see if he could come in, tired of sitting with only his thoughts. He got off the bed and looked around. He found a drawer that had clothes he could wear. He pulled out a white shirt. He put it on and buttoned it up a bit more then half way, still wearing that pants from before he made his way over to the door that connected their rooms.
He knocked on it before opening it ever so slightly, peering into the room from his, “May I come in?” he asked, “I can’t sleep now, the sun is to bright…” of course a made up excuse…he didn’t want Gabriel to know he hadn’t slept the entire night.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel stood and welcomed him in her room. “Morning Revelation” She offered him the chair and waved her hand to the breakfast, breads, and cheeses, with fruit, and meat. “Please eat up.”
She sat back down. “I watched my brothers and father leave this morning, along with the others” She paused. “Until they are home security is going to be extra tight, they are worried that we will be attacked and I will be captured” She shrugged “Very unlikely cause I barely leave the castle anymore” She leaned back in her chair. “I feel that the best way for you to feel mor comfortable with me is to find out some things about me. So here it goes I am sure you have noticed how different my two brothers treat me? Well John and I have always been close. Andrew and I well we haven’t”
She paused looking at him. “As I told you John is my eldest brother and we are the closest. Born less then a year apart we were hardly ever separate from each other as children. Much to the dismay of our parents, John had taught me how to ride a horse bareback, shoot an arrow, fish and do other activities that they deemed unnatural for their little daughter to do.”
She paused again smiling letting him picture her doing such unwomanly things “Many times we would come back to the castle both filthy and after a halfhearted scolding from our laughing maids, we would be washed and changed before dinnertime. So our parents were none the wiser of all the mischief that we got into, playing in the fields, swimming in the frigid lake until we were numb, ridding high into the hills”
Again she paused resisting the urge to shudder. “John and I had many more grand adventures. But when Andrew was born he was a completely different case. Andrew was born with a sliver spoon is his mouth or as the saying goes. He was a very sickly baby; he didn’t take to our momma’s milk so grew up on the very rich goats milk. Fed to him through a bottle that was made just for him, even as an infant he was needy and colicky. He figured that since he was so sick as a child that our parents would coddle him, but they did not. And that infuriated him. He was malicious and spiteful, from the time that he could walk and talk he gave myself nothing but problems, he was constantly running back to the castle to tell our parents what non- feminine behavior I was taking apart in and that Andrew was actually encouraging it. But I was the only daughter though and John was the eldest and the heir we both had a special spot in both our parents’ heart and that angered John to no end." She couldnt help but smile.
"I remember the time that I had embarrassed Andrew by beating him and all the other training solders in an archery contest, while the other solders congratulated me, and teased each other for getting beat by their princess. Andrew went running up the hill in tears to our parents. But as normal both of our parents laughed it off and told Andrew that maybe if he was nicer to me that I would give him lessons. He stormed off and would not speak to myself nearly a fortnight. He had probably meant for that to be a punishment but the silence was a welcomed relief for me, and although they would never dream of admitting it, the entire family welcomed a break from the consent tattling and nick picking.”. So that is a small story, explaining one of the reasons why Andrew and I do not get along. I have always beat him at everything.”
She looked at him “Forgive me for being longwinded, I have spent many days alone in my room since that day…and well I have missed someone to talk to.” She lowered her head and stared into her hands.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation had nodded and stepped into the room, sitting in the chair that was offered to him, and taking an apple from the various foods that were there...He looked at her as she spoke, taking a small bite. He nodded slightly...so they were off to start a war...bloodshed was the last thing any kingdom needed, though it shows status to other countries...the deaths and new wars it brings are to much of a hardship. Kidnapping as well...to show or gain power...it was disgusting...but what could one person do...nothing and Revelation knew and accepted that.
he cocked an eyebrow as she said she would explain a bit about herself. She started with her brothers...he HAD seen how each of them acted towards her from the dinner the other day...So now he knew which was which. He listened in scilence as she told her stories about her brothers. John sounded like a pleasent person...and the her and her elder brother seemed to really love each other...they seemed to have so much fun...for a moment Revelation wondered what it would be like to have a sibling...he had only known for the shortest while... He continuted to eat quietly as she spoke. Hearing the things her brother had taught her, he let out a short laugh.. it was hard but he did manage to picture the princess doing such things, but he was silent again as she continued on.
She started talking about Andrew...the beginning reminded him a lot of his own brother...he decided he would tell her about him when she was done. But as she went he doubted his brother would have turned out like her seemingly rude and annoying younger brother. He had eaten to his content and was now leaning back in his seat, looking at Gabriel as she spoke. He liked listening to her little stories...the last one had been a dreadful memory...this one seemed much better...and she seemed to find it much easier to talk about her brother then the event that left that scar on her face.
As she finished Revelation sat up straight. He fiddled with the buttons on his shirt, "It isn't a problem, can tell me whatever you wish i don't mind. " he said happily, but the smile that had appeared on his face quickly disappeard, "I had a brother as well...he was born sick...he was my twin...and he never really recovered from his ailment and died when we were only 5..." he shuddered as that day went through his mind once more, "He hadn't even been able to completely pronounce my name..." he added remebering how whenever his brother did say anything...which had been rare, he had said Revey...A sad look clouded Revelation's face, and he unknowingly traced the scar on his chest with one finger, at least the part of it that was visible through his half open shirt, "His name had been Teioh...I know it was strange...but he was named that because my father wasn't originally from this country..." he stopped and sighed, "I'm sorry you were telling me about yourself...you can continue if you want..."

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel lliked having someone to talk to. She had become very lonely, sure Martha talked to her but she was also very busy and couldn’t just sit and talk, and that’s what Gabriel really wanted. She knew that Revelation was being forced to do this, but leased she now she had someone. And someone to mend her lonleynss was better then nothing.
She noticed him playing with his shirt. She noticed the scar she looked up at him, hoping that one day he would tell her how it happened, she knew that she hadnt gained his trust yet. She would not demand his trust. For trust must be earned. She continued to look at him as he spoke, pleased that he was telling her a little bit of his life. To her it was a honour. But her heart was quickly breaking for him. He had lost so much. “I am sorry Revelation” She soflty whispered she knew her words more then likely meant nothing to hm but she wanted to show him some form of support. Not that she could ever understand but she still wanted him for feel like she did care.
As he apologized Gabriel shook her head “No no please continue, I like having someone to talk to, and this is a two way street, I want you to feel free to talk freely to me, anytime” She reached out slightly almost touching him then recoiled as if a snake had bite her. “Sorry, but please continue.”
((I know its shorter but I hope you can still work with it))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
She said she was sorry about his brother and he just looked at the floor and sighed. He didn't know why she felt the need to apologize for such a thing, but it didn't feel bad...he was just glad he could finally get this off his chest. He had never spoken a word of this aloud to anyone, most of the reason for this was the fact that he never had anyone to tell it to. She wanted him to continue...he guessed he could.
"Well...i guess we were both born sick...just my ailment was more of a skin problem...not fatal at all...just makes me look different...my father had the same thing...but Teioh...we didn't know what he had...he just never got better." He stopped and tried to think of other sruff he could say...his time with his brother had been very short...and him memories few.
"My brother would have been a great person...as a little kid i never remembered him crying. And when he was a little older he had always been able to laugh everything off...even if he was in a lot of pain, which he normally was." Revelation eyes were glazed with pain and sadness as in his mind he relived the days in his life he had spent with his brother.
"I was there when he died too, we had been having a small conversation. He didn't talk much...So i pretty much told him things that had happened that day like i normally did..." he paused for a moment, "Then as i spoke he just smiled at me and went limp...at least thats what I remeber..." he stopped he looked at Gabriel then the floor, "It was a week after that my mom killed herself...she died in front of me as well...i remeber waking into her room and she had a knife to her throat...i tried to stop but she...she actually lashed out at me with the knife. She had gone mad. That is actually how i got this scar..." he traced the very long pale line on his chest, "it hadn't cut too deep...but deep enough it would seem. My father had walked in a few minutes later and though it was too late for my dear mother he had been able to save me..." he explained...he hadn't thinking of that, but he had to admit it really did feel good to tell it to smeone who would listen to him and at least kinda understand.
"I can't think of anything else to say expcet for two years later was when my father died...I had run away but stupidly came back...just to br captured and now used here..." he finished. He looked up at Gabriel, not sure how she would react to his story.
((heh its fine with me...i didn't really give u much to reply to i hope this one is better.))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel listened intently , she figured that like her he was grateful just to have someone to talk to. Her heart was breaking for him though, he had lost so much, his had held his brother has he died, she couldn’t imagine her John dying, or even Andrew dying she couldn’t picture having to hold him as he died as evil as he was to her.
She looked up at Revelation as he continued the story, so his mother had given him that scar when he had tried to saver her. Then his father had died. More then likely as a result of her family’s gaurds, she would have to speak to them all and see what one was responsible. She looked up at his scar then up in his eyes. He had been through so much then he was here, she wished she could do something to help him, but granting freedom was not something that she could do.
“Revlation thank you for sharing your story, it means a lot to me that you would trust me enough, I really want you to be able to come to me for anything and about anything.” She stood and walked to her window pointing out it. “I don’t get out that much anymore but if you are wanting we can go for a ride, as long as we are back well before sundown, I don’t like being outside in the dark” She shuddered “Bad things happen in the dark but my horse does need to be excercied and as long as you don’t mind being with my gaurds a good ride migh t do both of us some good”

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation sighed and nodded as she said she appreciated him telling her his story. It had been the first time he had told that story to anyone...maybe it would help him get over the incedent from all those years ago...even if he was reminded of it everytime he looked at himself and saw that damn scar on his chest. He looked at the floor as she get up, his thoughts racing as he thought about what he had just said.
He looked up as she spoke, she was pointing out the window...riding...he couldn't remeber the last time he had ridden a horse...but it sounded like a nice break...maybe it could even be fun. He slowly got to his feet and looked at Gabriel with a faint smile, "I would love to go...I don't mind going with your...it sounds very pleasent..." he said in a quiet voice. He took a step towards the door but looked back at her, "Would you please lead the way." he said making his smile larger.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel turned to him and smiled her half smile “I am grateful that you wish to come but you if you wish you can remain here and have a few hours to yourself” She went to her door and opened it and walked out and her two guards appeared out of seemly nowhere. “Good morning Ian, Bodrick.” She continued out her two guards following her “I am going ridding please prepare Alexia, no saddle I do not require anything I will only be gone for a couple of hours” Her two guards exchanged looks. What was getting into their princess?
They were both shocked Gabriel had been out since that day, but not planned to go out for hours on end.. They turned and looked at Revelation surely he had something to do with this they both nodded their head in thanks. They both knew that she would need much distraction until her family was home and it was clear now that he would hold the key to her distraction. Gabriel walked downstairs flanked by her guards, “Miss Gabriel giving the current situation we both will be coming with you” Gabriel turned and smiled “Just keep up with me” Again the guards exchanged looks. She was acting like the princess that they knew before her attack, they did realize that she was nervous but they were proud of her. This was the first step and if she did not get out of the castle she would lose her mind.
Her gaurds stuck with her watching for any one, her towns people had not really forgiven her and still felt that she needed to be stoned, but her father had decided that her scar on her cheek was punishment enough.
She reached the stables and greeted each of the horses by name giving them each a pet on the nose making sure all had water and feed. The stable was nearly empty. A few of the mares with their colts were left, a few for the guard’s horses for emergency and Gabriel’s horse. Alexia was out of her pen and ready for her along with another beautiful brown horse for Revelation. Gabriel greeted her with a Nuzzle asking Alexia if she felt like going for a run. Alexia nodded her majestic head and Gabriel using the step stool mounted Alexia bare back. Then waited for her guards to be ready and eased Alexia into a small trot. Then whispering, “The speed is yours Alexia” Alexia answered her by breaking out in a gallop. It had been a few days since she had ridden her. She loved the feeling of Alexia under her the strength that the horse had in her powerful leg amazed Gabriel each time.
Gabriel turned her head to see who was behind her. It had just occurred to her that although she have him lots of time to make his choice and gave Connor orders to prepare a horse for Eddie if he so wished she did not know he had followed her or not. They had ridden hard for five minutes before she urged Alexia to slow down and not tucker herself out.
The stopped by a creek Gabriel dismounted and kicked of her sandals wadding into the water the bottom of her dress getting wet she turned to her guards who kept darting their eyes around. “Ohh come on calm down give those horses a break lead them here to drink and just relax. The armies are busy fighting there is no one here.
She took off her over dress in one quick motion drove in to the water. “Tttthhheee waaatttterrrss grrreeaat” she chattered “ccooomee onnn iiiinnn” Both her guards laughed and shook their ends Gabriel just laughed “Chickens” She drove under again the cold crisp water turning her arms white and her lips and nail beds different shades of blue and purple. But illness was the furthest thing from her mind.
She looked around for Revelation wondering if he had come with them. Her guards did dismount but remained at high alert. It made her a bit nervous but she tried to hide it for she really wanted to enjoy this, to see if she could get through this afternoon with out a panic attack.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation had waited for a short while before deciding that the fresh air would do him a lot of good. So he followed silently. He was well behind now and as he walked through the halls of the castle following the princess and her two gaurds he did get a few looks so he lowered his head as he continued. Out of the castle...down to the stables. By the time Revelation entered the other three had taken off on their horses but there was one horse that had been left out in the stable. The man who ran the stable, Conner, looked up at Revelation with a slightly confused expression before asking, "Revelation?". The albino man nodded and conner pointed at the brown horse. Revelation nodded and stepped towards the horse, he reached out and pet it before mounting it. Now was just the problem of trying to to remeber how to ride the thing. He did manage to get out of the stable and he saw the gaurds horses on the horizon. He tried a couple things and after some troubles he got the horse into a canter. He had a good feeling he knew where they were headed.
It took him a little longer then he expected but he did eventually make it to the river. He saw the others...now he just had to get the damnm horse to stop moving, "Damn it STOP!" he yelled and the horse obeyed...he looked at it then the other then dismounted and the horse went to the water with the others. Revelation looked around and scratched his head. He saw Gabriel in the water. He went over to the bank and sat down putting his feet in the water and shivering, "I-it's cold..."he hissed.
The sound of a horses hooves came closer to him and his eyes narrowed, he was about to turn around to look at the animal when it chomped down on his hair. His eyebrow twitched angrily. This horse didn't like him very much. He pushed the animal away and it snorted at him before going back to the others. He glared at it for a while before looking at the princess, "I don't think that horse like me very much..." he said in a pissed voice.
((I made that picture for this post LoL srry if it interfers ))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel saw Revelation approaching and was pleased. She even chuckled as he yelled at the horse to come to a stop. That particular horse seemed nonetopleased that he had been left behnd she would explain later on why he seemed that the horse didn’t like him. As he dipped his feet into the water she nodded. “Aye its cold but refreshing” Her teeth were still chattering still but she liked the numbness, her wounds didn’t hurt so much when she was numb. And she could focus on the stinging numbness to distract her from her emotional and mental pain.
She noticed the way he scowled at the horse “Well if you ask me it seems like the feeling is mutuael.” She was about the call out about the horse when he chomped down. She had to stiffen a giggle. “Aww he is just mad cause he was left behind, he is really picky on who rides him. A tempermental horse he is.
After a little while she stood and steped out of the frigid water and laid out on an extra plaid allowing the warm sun to dry herself. Ian walked over and handed her a small package of food. Gabriel looked up at him and smiled. “Thank you, please sit down you and Bodrick both.” Ian finally nodded and sat down both seated so they would be protecting their princess back. She laid the food out and offered some of the cheese and meat to Revlation. She brought a piece of the meat to her lips. “They know me well, when I swim I always need some meat afterwords, seems to word off any illness.”
She turned to her gaurds “Ian, Bodrick, you have surely met Revlation” They both nodded. “We have and we must thank you, our princess has not smiled like this for a month” The paused and Gabriel nodded “You see my gaurds are much like me, very different then the others, I would not have allowed them to be my gaurds if they were like the others, so you have no reason to fear them.” Both Ian and Bodrick looked at Revelation over the princess head it was clear that they both cared for their princess and both held great guilt over what happened to her. But they also both seemed grateful that he was here maybe he could brea her out of ther shell, help her be like she used to be.

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Revelation glared at the horse again as Gabriel got out of the water. He fixed his hair a bit then turned to look at the princess and her gaurds and he moved, taking his feet out of the water and bringing himself closer to the other people. It really was a beautiful place. She offered him food which he gratefully accepted. He brought some to his mouth eating it quietly.
He looked at the two gaurds and nodded to them, "Yes they seem much more kind...unlike some of the others..." he remebered be struck barely a day ago by another gaurd. He had barely acknowledged but had she really not smiled...he woul really be shocked if he was the reason for that he doubted he would be...but maybe, the two of them seemed so sure he had been the reason so maybe he was.
There was a nice breeze. Revelation lifted his head into it breating in the scent of the surrounding area...closing his eyes and smiling, he felt truely at peace outside. He ran a pale hand through his silver hair before sighing an exhaling. Looking back at the other three, "It really is beautiful out here, wouldn't ou agree?" His pink eyes shone as he laid back an looked at the drifting clouds. He seemed so carefree when outdoors, especially when he coul be such a stiff and anti-social person.
((srry it took so long an its kinda crappy ^_^''))

Re: The Servant and Princess (Hidenluver)
Gabriel blushed slightly she knew her gaurds meant well. But she had nothing really of late to smile about, and unless she did it just right it really caused her great pain, she of course did not tell them this, for they already felt guilty enough about her being out that day.
Gabriel nodded as he ate, the warm sun was drying her quickly, her hair was another story, she had hopes that Revelation would brush it and rebraid it once they were home.
She noticed her gaurds getting ansy as the afternoon went on so she stood. "Me thinks its time we be getting back. Her gaurds nodded and stood she walked over to the horses and mounted the brown horse and turend to Revlation "You ride Alexia home, she should be better"
As the rode home Gabriel remained flanked by Ian and Bodrick. When they made it back to the castle she dismounted and turned to Connor, "Please give them all a good brushing and a treat each."
Then she returend to her room and turned to Relation "Do oyu mind brushing my hair, and rebraiding it?" She paused "I just cant reach the back all that well"
