Feeling his hand graze the bruise he had left, she shuddered slightly, smile spreading across her face. Sliding her hand back up to his head, she slid her hand into his hair, brushing his hair away from his forehead. "Alright," she said, kissing him lightly, "Sleep, I'll be here." She shifted slightly, making herself more comfortable atop him, hooking her ankle around the back of his leg, pressing her ear back against his chest.

Keath slept soundly, his dreams free from any worry... he didn't have to run... he wouldn't have to run anymore... he knew his love was close as he slept. It would be a few hours, until he would wake again as he slept deeply... until the next nightfall... one worry did remain... how would her father act... she took on a human lover...
