Slith nodded and held her even closer. "I love you to Aura" He laid awake until her rythmic breathing lulled him to sleep. He slept soundly with her in his arms and as she awoken and sat up he pulled her back down and kissed her deeply. "Good morning my Love"

Aura kissed him back and said, “Morning…” She snuggled back up to him again as she got comfy in his arms again. She was about to go back to sleep when a man came in without knocking. Aura’s eyes widened as her ex came storming in. She covered herself up quickly. She asks, “What are you doing here Nick? We are not together anymore.” He says, “That may be true but our arranged marriage is still supposed to happen on this day.”

Slith grinned his plan had worked he had wanted to stay with her for as long as possible. He kissed her back long and hard and as she snuggled he held her close to him. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply when he senced danger moments later a stranger came storming in.

Slith noticed straight away how Aura reacted and he found his pants still next to him on the bed he slipped them on under the covers then stood standing between Aura and this man. "Aura clearly doesnt want you, and I will die before she is foced to do somthing she doesnt want to do"

Aura groaned as Nick yanked her off the bed. She says, “Nick can’t just yank me out of my bed when I am not even dressed.” She was just wrapped in a sheet that she clutched onto to make sure it did not fall. Nick looked her over and became red with anger. He slapped her across the face hard making her fall to the floor because she was not use to being hit that way and yelled, “You gave yourself up to a demon! You slut!”

Slith could no longer contain his anger he grabbed Nick by the throat and lifted him off the ground tightening his grip so Nick could barely swallow he then then turned to Aura. "Are you alright?" Then he turned his attention back to Nick. "You dare hit a woman what kind of man are you?" He growled before throwing Nick to the ground "You have two choices leave here and never come back or fight me to the death."

Aura looked at Slith as his rage seemed to take over. She touches his back and said, “You cannot have a fight to the death. If you kill a human like him, people will have a right to kill you. I have to marry him weather I want to or not. His village and mine will go to war if I don’t. I can’t let innocent people die because of me.”

Slith felt Aura touched him and turned around, he was instantly calmed and he wondered how it had happed so fast. "I dont care what happens to me Aura I want to protect you" What she said next knocked the air out of him. "Aura, what are you saying, surely there is a way that we cant fix this" He turned to Nick "What would it take for you to leave Aura alone"

Aura looked at Nick knowing there was no way he was going to let her go. Nick says, “There is nothing you can give or do to me to make me give Aura up. She going to marry me tonight while she is human or I will tear her village apart.” He left the home so Aura could get dressed. She fell to her knees and started to cry with her face in her hands.

Slith heart sank, he had found love and now it was going to be taken from him. He couldnt belive that there was nothin that he could do. He glared at Nick as he left wishing that he could snuff the life out of him wiht one look. When he was gone he knelt down to the ground and picked up Aura into her arms and held her close to him. "Aura there has to be something that we can do, what if we Marry before nightfall? Please Aura I dont want to lose you I love you"

Aura looked at him unsure what to say. She says after a moment, “If I marry you, Nick will destroy this village. I was promised to him before I was even born. He will not take losing his prize to a demon lightly…” She laid her head on his cold chest. She says, “My love for you will never end Slith. I can promise you that…” Tears went down her face as she thought about not being able to be with Slith.

Slith thought for a moment "Aura what if Nick died but there was not link back to me or anyone would you then be free from him?" There were potions and herbs that Slith knew that would be undectable to any humans and he had seen the flowers and herbs on his travels to save Aura. Somehow he could get Nick to drink them, and then Aura would be free and the town would be saved.

Aura stayed in his arms and cuddled up to him. She ready did not want to marry Nick. She loves Slith with all her heart. "Aura what if Nick died but there was not link back to me or anyone would you then be free from him?" Slith asked her. She nodded slowly and said, "Yes that would free me and the village. But you would need a very good posion."

Slith nodded "Okay my Angel let me handle this, I have one poisen that mimicks a heart attack but takes a hour to work so even if people saw me giving him a drink they would think it was my considing to me losing you to him dont you fear anything." He picked her up and placed her on the bed. "Stay here I will be gone only a few minutes" He kissed her long and hard on the lips then stood up and finished getting dressed.

He stepped out and saw a strong looking man walking by and stopped him. "My good man our dear Aura is gettingready for tonight, it is considered bad luck for Nick to see his bride before the wedding if he comes back please remind him of that.

He then raced to where he saw the herbs placed them in a culdron that he had found with some boiling water deep in the woods then added the potion to a strong wine and then walked to find Nick he handed Nick a flask and held up his own flask of wine. "I see now that you are the one for Aura I would like to toast to your marriage" He held up his flask and waited. The poition was orderless and tastless and he had been so deep in the forest that there was no way anyone could have seen him. The potion would also take about 20 mintues to kick in and it would seem like a heart attack so no one would be blamed.

Aura kissed him back before he left. It was passed noon now and someone came in with her wedding dress. The woman says, “Lady Aura you don’t have to do this. The men of this village would gladly go to war to keep your freedom from Nick.” She says, “I don’t want them to die over me.” She looked down at her chest. She had scars from the fire demon’s attack. She thinks as she looks at the dress, “What a shame I won’t be able to wear it.” Meanwhile Nick drank the drink with a smile. He says after he finishes of the drink, “About time you realize I am the better man.”

Slith remained emotionless as he drank the drink. "Yes you are right, it was foolish for me to think that a half demon as myself would be able to have a woman as beautiful as your Aura." He nodded. "Well I am sure you have many other well wishes I shall leave you to them" With that he walked away making sure that people saw him drinking the same drink that he had given Nick, in a short time Nick would be dead and there would be no trace of it in his body.

Slith returned to Aura and walked into the house, explaining that he had a few things that he needed to collect before he moved on. Stating that it was Nicks wishes. When he saw Aura he rushed to her, "I will always love you no matter what happens, but for you to be happy in your marriage I must move on." He then whispered very softly in her ear "Nick as been drinking word should come down soon"

Aura was in her wedding dress when Slith was back. It was pure silver like the stars. The vial was over her face."I will always love you no matter what happens, but for you to be happy in your marriage I must move on." She knew this part was an act so she pretended quite easily to cry. He then whispered very softly in her ear, "Nick as been drinking word should come down soon." She gave him a nod telling him she understands. The woman who was helping her put on her dress, left to give them a moment together.

Slith held the crying Arua muttering small talk like "It will be alright this is for the best" but as soon as they were alone he snuck a hand under her dress and lighly pinched her ass. "My sweet Aura I could not picture life without you" He lifted the veil and gave her a long passionate kiss then beforethey could be caught he broke it. "I must act like I am leaving till word comes" He then walked into the other bedroom and begain packing the few things he hadfound while here, certain herbs and flowers, He had nothing so pretending to be busy was hard. He then heard shouts from outside and raced outside to see what was happening.

Aura smiled and kissed him back lovingly. When the yelling started, she went to the door and looked out at the people. A man came up and said, “I am sorry my lady. Your husband to be has had a heart attack. He is dead. I am sorry.” The people of the village started to cheer. She says, “This means you have no grounds to kill this village.”

Slith stepped out of the room and to Auras side as she got to news. He put his arms around her softly. "I suggest you get you and your people back to bury you dead, demons love a fresh body, even if he is dead his soul could still be dragged to hell till he is blessed" Slith then turned around and embraced Aura. Smiling "Aura I had a thought, why let your dress go to waste" He got down on one knee "I dont have a ring, or a village to give to you, but wil you marry me?"

The man nodded and went to go burry his dead prince. He did not want his prince’s body to be eaten by a bunch of demons. When he was gone, Aura smiled and said, “Yes Slith I will marry you.” She was just happy to be with her love. She kissed his forehead and then his lips. She did not need a ring or a bigger village. She just needed Slith’s love.

Slith watched the man walk away. He was very happy that his plan worked. That the prince took the drink, and that other people had him drinking and there was no way that it could be traced back to him.

Slith grinned stood and kissed her back then picked her up and spun her around. Then kissed her deeply. "I love you deeply Aura" He looked around to the village. "If you would have me I would like to Marry your beautiful Aura"

The whole village cheered as Slith announced that he wanted to marry Aura. They were glad that their gracious healer had found love. Everyone began preparing a big feast for after the wedding. A few women grabbed Aura and began to give her a better look. The dress she was wearing a gift from Nick. They did not think it was right for her to wear that. They brought her back in her house as an elderly woman Aura called her Nana brought in her mother’s wedding dress.

Slith grinned as the village cheered it seemed as if he would really be accepted here as one of their own by marring and with that he would never leave the village. Slith helped out where he could he noticed that Aura was ushered away and he hopped that he was going to be able to give Aura what she deserved. He was growing nervous but in a good way. He was eager to Marry his sweet Aura, he knew that it was odd for him to want t marry her so soon but not only did he love her, he wanted to protect her.

Aura hugged Nana before she put on the silk dress carefully. She did not want to rip it in any way. She put on the vial and smiled some. An elderly man brought in a body mirror in and hugged her gently. Nana says, “You look just like your mother…” The men of the village set up everything for the wedding. They wanted her to get married before she had to become human.

Slith stood at the front of all the stairs and waited for his dear Aura to come forth. He was eager to marry her before the sunset to protect her even more. He loved her and although she would be human for a little while he wanted to prove to her that he would be there no matter what.
