Dumisa takes the blade and skins the croc of all of its hyde. He then cuts it into an vest of armor for him and his friend and then made several other vest. He then cuts the meet of the croc into chunks that could be carried easliy as his friend came out of the woods with an huge piles of fire wood. Dumisa then started the fire and let the meat cook on it. While he placed several of the vest on the horse backs. Then Dumisa went to go claim his prize the fangs of the great croc. He ripped them out and used an thin strip of leather to strap them to to his vest. He looks at his frien and smiles as he proudly adjusted his new trophies. He then goes to the river and washes off.

Gabrial watched him as he cut the hyed, then do the meat, she watched the fire start shivering slightly from the night chill. Still she went unnoticed. She would remain here though, sleep here if need be, she would see if Dumisa was truely starting to have feelings for her, or if it was just some strange plan to use her from his benifate. She was so unsure. Unsure of everthing she sat down her back againt the strong tree and her knees to her chin then she wrapped her hands around her knees and rested her head in her arms. She was shivering madly now but she would remain there until the men took notice that she was gone.

As he left for what she would asume was the river shesighed. Purhapes after he had cleaned up. But oh how cold she was. She rubbed her arms trying to warm up her teeth were chattering but she willed that to stop and simply remained there still and waiting to see if he would come for her. If he loved her he would, if not she was just a part of his plan. She waited to see what one.

Dumisa took notice of Gabriel as he washed the blood off of himself. Then he smiles as he dives into the water and comes out almost fifty yards down in the woods Dumisa quicly spotted her and dashed through the woods unnoticed by Gabriel or his friend then with one finial leap he lands behind her an then he scoops her up into his arms. "It would be a hell of a lot warmer near the fire with us then by yourself." He similes as he carries her over to the fire.

Gabriel watched out of the cornor of her eyes, she saw him cleaning off the blood of him. He had at least listened to in that point. But she still wouldnt move, she wasnt sure why she felt so inscure about him and herself. She had never really had someone like that before. Usually people would approch her father about courting her, there had only been one before and her fathere were in him were in discussions when she had been attacked, then that all went out the window. But now there was Dumisa and she was about to find out what his motives were.

She heard him dive into the water and then nothing, she woundered where he went but he wouldnt move until he came for her. When he jumped up behind her she smiled. When he scooped her up she giggled. "Well it took you long enough, I thought I was going to freeze to death" But then she wrapped her arms around his neck. She had her answer and she was very happy. He did love her, ugly scar and used body and all.

Dumsia smiles and says, "Took me long enough to do what." He looks down at the girl that was now in his arms. Then he looks up. "What was I suppose to do. You were freezing and I would never let you freeze to death when I could hold you in my warm arms." He smiles at her again and stops at the fire and lays down on the pelts with her in his arms.

Gabirel blushed as he stared at her. She smiled and shrugged. "I was seeing how long it would take if you came for me" She stated plainly. The smiling slying added "You passed" As he laid down with her she snuggled into his heat, strangly even after swimming in the friged waters he felt so warm, had she realy let herself get that cold? She smiled at him and slowly closed her eyes not sleeping just fully relaxed around him.

Dumisa just pulled her closer to him as he realized she was damn near frozen. "You shouldn't have done that. I would have come for you sooner but you have to get dat meat dried and cooked because it won't take long for it to start to rot." He places his warm cheek on hers. "It takes a longer time for me to clean and make this for you." He pulled out an little leather string with all of the the tiny crocs teeth and one of the monster corcs teeth right in the middle of all the other. "You are freezing." His grip on her got tighter pulling her into him and says, "This should keep you warm."

Gabriel looked at him then bowed her head hidding her face from him. "I was just seeing something, but you passed" But thats all she would say on that matter. Then as he continued to speak she chanced a look at him as he pulled out the necklace she gasped "Thank you" She snuggled deeper into him wanting to get all the heat that she could from him. "Mmmmm how can you be so warm and I be so cold, you just went swimming"

Dumisa smiles and cuddles into her. "I swam two miles down and ran back to you. By the time I got half way there I was dry and the last mile was more like an warm up so my body tempreature almost doubled. He pulls her a little closer to him then shuts his eyes and goes to sleep.

Gabriel smiled and sighed. "You are very althetic Dumisa" She sighed as he pulled her even closer she tried to raise her head to see where the other man went but Dumisa chest was too comfortable she laid her had back down and was soon asleep. For the first time her scar was clearly visable if the other man happened to take a look.

Dumisa felt a tap on his shoulder and then he slowly lifted his head his friend with an smile says, " We have company." Dumisa slowly looked around he noticec hundreds of little glowing eyes in the distance. Dumsia didn't move to much because he didn't wisht to wake Gabriel. He then layed her on her back and stands up looking around. He goes and grabs the sheilds and place them over Gabriel like an saftey tent. He grabs his spear and knives. "If they attack we will be ready get some sleep until then.

Gabriel was sleeping soundly on Dumisa's chest sighing softly and tottally relaxed and at peace in her sleep. She was at peace in his arms, felt safe and comfortable, yes even outside. She barely felt Dumisa lift his head but as he moved her she sighed and went to move over but as the shields went around her she woke up looked over to him. "Whats happening?" She was shaking slightly, she was wondering why she was fully protected and they were out in the open.

Dumisa smiles and says, "Nothing to worry about I just had to protect my jewel." He leans over and kisses her cheek and then scooted closer to her hoping she wouldn't look around and see the eyes of the clan of hyena's. He slowly stroked the side of her face and kept his spear in his left hand and kept it form her sight. He looked at his sleeping friend and just kept his eyes open and glaring down every predator that dared look at him.

Gabriel blushed as he called her a jewel her ears burned and she was a beat red. "Me a Jewel?" She asked smiling. He was so sweet. She nodded and closed her eyes ready to go back to sleep as he kissed her and comforted her. She smiled and sighed as he scotted closer she purred slightly. She felt safe with him and she knew that he would protect her. "Okay Dumisa I trust you" She leaned into him and fell aleep again.

Dumisa's friend wakes up and says, "Are they still there." Dumisa nods to his friend and says Get your knives swoard and spear they look like they may strikes soon. He slowly moves away form Gabriel stands up keeping his ground next to her he stood over her like a protective statue.

Gabriel sighed softly in her sleep as he moved her over she was so deep insleep that she did not even notice being moved but as he stood she slightly opened her eyes and reached out and touched his leg. A silent request on news of what has happening. She didnt dare look around though, if Dumisa had surronded her in the shields it meant there was something that he didnt want her to see and she was happy to keep it like that.

Dumisa and his friend smile as three hyena's come in full speed. Dumisa grabs two knives and slices down one of them and cuts down onther as his friend thows a knife into the head of another one. The rest strart to cricle the campsite Dumisa slowly backed over to Gabriel's side once more.

Laying there protected by the shields Gabriel heard the cries of the animals made her eyes pop open she reached up and reached for Dumisa's leg. "Dumisa I am trained well with the bow, my aim is swiftly deady and acerate. I need my bow where is it? You cant fight them all alone"

Dumisa glared down. "Stead yourself if they are smart you won't need the bow. You are safe and thats all that matters. Plus I am not fighting alone." He moves his head towards his friend. "We can handle this if we kill a few more they will retreat." He smiles and throws another knife right into the head of another one garbing another knive off of his belt.

Gabriel nodded and then remained still "Alright Dumisa but if you need me please dont think just cause I am a girl I cant handle it" She then rested back down and remained still trying not to draw attention to herself. She smiled, he clearly cared about her more then she knew for he was willing to die for her. She just hoped that he wouldnt have to she was growing fond of him. She waited silently for what would happen.

Dumisa smiles as he starts throwing knives and then leaps over an hyena grabing its neck and flining it over into the darkness untop of another hyena. Dumisa's friend had just picked one up over his head and tossed it onto a few others as they all started to flee.

Gabriel remained still as she could barley breathing waiting for Dumisa to tell her that it was over and that it was safe. She wondered why they were being hunted so much, first the Croc, and now these things, what next? She heard them fleeing but she didnt dare lift her head, not yet not until Dumisa came for her and told her that it was safe, for if she put herself in danger and thus putting Dumisa and his friend in danger so she would remain still as long as possible.

Dumisa walks over and tosses the sheilds to the side. He then takes off his knife belt and drops his spear next to the pelts and crawls in the bed. He lays his head on Gabiel's chest and then trys to doze off to sleep.

Gabriel smiled as he tossed the sheilds to the side and watched as he took off the knife belt and the spear he was his knight in shinning armour, well he didnt have the shinning armour but he was still her saviour. As he laid down and laied on her chest Gabriel softly stroked his hair and kissed the top of his head. "Thank you for keeping me safe Dumisa"

Dumisa said nothing at first he just laid there. His face tucked into her chest his arms around her waist and the finally he says, "Thank you for keeping me warm." He then closes his eyes and says, "Get some sleep sunrise is in a few hours." He tucks his head back into her chest and closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep.
