Angel smiled as she kissed him back after and while he borke the kiss and says, "I would love to kiss you a little longer but I can't hold my breath to long I was just in a huge fight." He smiles and lightly kisses her cheek. He then pulls her ontop of him and wraps both arms around her and then placed his chin on top of her head.

Jessica gasped when he made his coment about breathing "I am soo sorry Angel" She stroked his face gently then as he pulled her on top of him she giggled then relaxed. "Well this can be nice to" She closed her eyes and wrapped her arm around him and sighed. "Angel....why is everyone out to get you?"

Angels eye's shoot open as she asked the question. He stroked the side of her head. "Wrather you can belive it or not Angel is nto the prince of the story. He is the theif that gets lucky." He kept stroking her hair and says, "I can't really tell you but I made some bad descions that I am going to have to live with."

Jessica shook her head. "No matter what you did Angel, you saved my life so you are my Prince and always will be" As he stroked her she smiled and sighed. "How can one mans touch be soo nice and another one be so cruel?" She kissed him softly then laid her head down on his chest and slowly fell back asleep his rthymic breathing and his heart beat lulled her to sleep and his strong arms protected her.

Angel looks down at the sleeping Jessica. He kisses her forehead and keep stroking her head hoping he could erase the question she asked him earlier. He smiles at this beautiful girl in his arms. He smiles as his mother comes into the room and smiles at the picture she saw. Angel ask his mother to go grab him an drink. She smiles leaves the room and comes back with an rasberry birsk ice tea. He takes a sip and then slowly drifts off to sleep.

Jessica slept soundly on Angel for a few hours then woke up with a start shaking horribly rolled off of Angel and sat up gasping and hold her chest he had just had a nighmare but she didnt scream out just rolled over her back to Angel and attmepted to fall back asleep. Finally she did hoping that she had not awoken Angel, she slept soundly and nothing else had awoken her.

Angel felt the movement and realized that Jessica was no longer on his chest he. Then looks over and sees her next to him he wanted to reach out and help her but then as she settled down he closed his eyes. As she went back to sleep Angel gets up and takes an shower then wonders back into his room to grab some more clothing. He then looked over to see if Jessica was still sleep he couldn't really see her face so he walked into the front room and cut on the news and started putting on his clothes.

Jessica didnt feel Angel get up and go to the shower but as he came back and turned on the tv she turned over silently watching him walk out into the front room she slowly stood and walked in following him. She gasped as she relized that he was nearly completly naked. "Ohh I am ummm sorry" she covered hereyes blushing greatly. And in her haist to leave she tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground.

Angel turns around after hearing the thud and pulls up his pants and leaps over to help her up. "Are you okay Jessica." He picks her up and dust her off. "Wow you really are a little clumsy." He kisses her cheek and leads her to the couch an pulls her onto his lap leaving his shirt off he a few scars on his his chest. He then stood up and walked away to get his drink from his room and thats where the distrubing site was. His back was coverd in deep long scars.

Jessica blushed as he picked her up. " I...I... am alright" She stammered out her face beat red from embarrament "I just was not excepting you to be naked Angel" As he kissed her she smiled. "I didnt want you to know that I had seen you, I figured that it would have embarrassed you as well" When he led her over to the couch and sat her down she noticed the scars on his chest she could not help herself she reached out and touched them slightly opened her mouth to ask what happened when he stood quickly she watched him leave and caught a glance of his back she gasped and stood up and followed him "Angel, your back...." She reached out and grapped his wrist. "What...." she looked down. "I" she shook her head "I know you dont want me to know, but what...happened"

At that point in time Angel grabed her hands and opened her arms he turned arond as he started to open his mouth. His mother opened her door and snatched Jessica away and snaps at Angel. "It is cold go put on a shirt before you poke someones eye out." Angel smirks at his mother and goes to his room she closes the door behind her and takes Jessica's hand and leads her to the bed and sits her down. "You are not in trouble child. I just could not bare the thought of him recalling what happened to him." She sits next to Jessica and takes her hand. "I still blame myself for it." She takes an deep breath and says, "It all happened right after his father left. We were running out of money Angel has always been a very fast learner and even quicker with reading people and physical movement. So he started working with the wrong people. He told me he had got an job. So I asked no question and just let him help pay the bills." She takes another breath and says, "Before I knew it my boy was an gentalman's theif. He stole big time object for larges amounts of money. Well it came down to the queen's diamond I know you heard about that being stolen. Well that was my son's doing. He did his job but there was more than one man who wanted it. So he had to choose a big time crimianl out of eight to give the jewel to. He choose the one that hired him to steal the jewel well after that the man gave him over to the other seven where they tourched my boy for two years and all that happened is Angel became stronge." After telling the story the mother was now teary eyed. She was even squeezing Jessica's hand.

Jessica eyes were full of compassion as Angel opened his mouth ready for what ever he told her even if it was along the lines of go to hell. But before she could find out what he was going to say his mother opened the door and shooed him away and was pulling her into the room, Jessica begain shaking with fear, she was certain that she would be kicked out and forced to live on the streets or worse be sent back to her hell. She lickeed and chewed on her lips.

But as his mther spoke she relaxed. She listened as she told the story, her heart broke for Angel. At the end she shook her head "It is not your fault, not at all" She stood. "Thank you for telling me, I will be more careful about bringing stuff up in the future." She hugged his mother then walked out to Angel where she gave him a gentle hug. "I'm sorry Angel" She then gently kissed his cheek. "I understand now why you saved me when everyone else had ignored my screams for help"

Angel just kept an friendly smile on his face and walks off. He pulls on his white long biker jacket and tosses his mother her black one. Then looks at Jessica. "Go got it your jacket and get ready to saddle up. We are going to go out for lunch today. Oh and Jessica you are taking your bike. So make sure you at least keep up with the old woman over there." Angels mother smiles at Jessica and flicks off Angel with an even friendlier smile. Angel goes outside and rolls out all three bikes.

As Angel walked away Jessica frowned, was he still upset with her? As he put on his jaket she grinned and nodded and ran andgot her dress on then went back to him then froze. Her bike? She wasnt sure if she was ready to do it ll by her self but she would try. "Well I will try Angel" She grinned "So where are we going for lunch?" She asked as she jumped on her bike.

Jessica nodded and put her helmet on, there was a nice pasta place that she saw earlier it looked like a nice place and it had a outside patio or inside depending on what they wanted. She was still a bit shaky on the bike she struggled to stay up with his mom but when she saw her place she turned into the parking lot and turned off her bike and waited to see if they would follow.

Angel saw Jessica turn he instantly squeezes the front break and when the bike jack kinfes he blances himself turns the bike around and zooms right into the parking lot. His mother turns her bike around and follows. They both cut off there bikes and get off. Angel walks over to Jessica and wraps his arm around her. "Good choice in resturants I just wish you choose this while my mom wasn't around. This is more of an couples place."

Jessica blushed and lowered her head. "Well then you choose" She teased looking up to his mom, I just figured it would be a nice quiet spot." She shivered remembering the food court incident only a little while earlier, and she wanted to be safe and to enjoy the meal. "And this way your mom could ask me any questions that she has or any that you have" She was amazed that she was being this open and free she was panicking in the inside and her eyes were darting around as if she was looking for someone, the ones that did this or his friends.

"Its going to take some time, I wish it could be like a light switch but it cant, I really hope you can understand" She looked to his mom. "And I meant it, anything you want to know about this strange girl your son brought home, black and blue and clinging to life"

Jessica took her cue from Angel this was not a subject that they talked about she smiled to the doctor and nodded "Ummm I would like a Lemonaid as well please" She slowly gripped his hand and squeezed it. "So Angel what do you recomend to eat here?" She looked over the menus and her eyes light up, "Ohh can we have some of that bread with Tzetiki dipping to start, that was always one of my favorite"

Angels mother glares at him and then smiles at Jessica. "It is okay he hardly ever eats." She glares back at Angel and says, "When he knows he is about to fight." Her eyes now locked on Angels and trying to see what he was staring at but then Angel just smikrs and gives Jessica's hand a good squeeze before she could add on to what his mother said.
