Jessica barely caught what his mom had said she went to ask him but he had squeezed her hand so she took it as a cue as to drop it she brought his hand to her lips and kissed his hand softly then smiled. "Well I can share if you change your mind Angel" She didnt want to press anything, she knew that some stuff that she wouldnt be able to know and maybe it was better that way, to be protected for once in a loong time she was going to be sheltered and she liked it. Not knowing everything didnt bother her at all.

Angel lets go Jessica's hand and garbs her chair and slides it next to his. Then kisses her neck and says in her ear so faint she could hardly hear it. "I won't you to look up and see if you don't see someone that looks familir. If you ask me I think he got out of jail way to earlier and he is already looking for you." He then nibbles on her ear and looks across the room to Herbert. Then he truns back to Jessica. "Babe I wanna kiss you one becasue I really like you and two I want Herber too know you no longer belong to him. You are my little ray of beautiful arua." His face remained so close to hers that you could feel the heat in between them.

As Angel moved his chair closer to her Jessica grinned not seing his plan thinking only that he wanted to be closer to her. As he whispered and she felt his hot breath on her neck she giggled. But when she realized that he was being serious she held her breath. At his suggestion she looked up and saw him imediatly. Her face went white and she trembled slightly she didnt want him to see her, he still had legal gaurdenship of her she if the police got involed she would likely be forced to return to Herbert, and he would kill her.

She nodded and turned to Angel and nuzzled his neck "I'm scared and I hate it, he has legal right to me, unless that was stripped when he went to jail, please Angel dont let me go back to him" With that she kissed his neck then claimed his lips kissing him long and hard and passionetly her tongue slipping into his mouth and wrapping her arms around his neck. Her eyes foucused on Herbert seeing what he was going to do, then she closed them and enjoyed the moment.

Angel instantly started to rise as Herberts face turned red and he started. To stand Angel didn't wanna break the kiss but as Herbert started walking that way. Angel broke this kiss and says, "Babe after this I will explain to you everything wrong about what you just said." He kisses her neck and then cheek and stands up in just enough time to look Herbert eye to eye. Herbert lifts up his arm and points to the door. "I like this resterant so lets take this outside." Angel turned to go outside and herbert leaps up and knees Angel in the stomach and throws him out the window. Then turns to slap Jessica but at this point time an strange hand came into play. Angel was up and back in the window but another hand had Herberts. It was Angels mom. She flips Herbert out the window and says, "You will fight him or I will take your arm off." Angel smiles at his mom and leaps out the window and squares off with him.

Jessica heart was racing, in part from the kiss but she was terrfied of Herbert, he had promised to kill her and he would succedd if he ever got his hands on her and it was clear he had pull since he was already out of jail and searching for her. When he broke the kiss she nodded to his comment although she found nothing wrong with wht she had siad it was only the truth he did have legal right to her, custody...what would happen?

As he came forward Jessica swallowed hard and as Angel stood she watched him, she wondered what would happen. As Angel turned to go outside and Herbert kneed him Jessica cried out. She saw the hand coming and winced knowing what was coming but the hand never came to her. Angels mom stopped it she gasped in wonder when he fliped he and threated Herbert, when he went outside Jessica turned to his mom. "Thank you" She said with a weak smile then turned to the door "Is he going to be okay? Herbert is a dirty fighter, as you could probably tell"

Angel's mother smiles and says, "I figured he dosen't fight clean but notihing pisses off Angel more than a dirty fighter." She turns her head to Jessica. "You are welcome for one and two. You have seen my son fight before right. Look at him now and see how badly dirty fighting pisses him off." Angel was in an diffrent stance from last time. This time he wasn't even moving except for the mucsles twiching with rage throught out his body. Herbert swings and it dosen't even look like Angel moves but the punch is deflected.

Jessica chewed her bottom lip until it bleed, worried tears stung her eyes as she watched the fight continue she knew that if Herbert started to win she would offer herself to Herbert to save Angel. She didnt turn her head but spoke to his mom "If Herber starts to win I wll stop him, your son will not be harmedd becaruse of me" She readied herself to bolt to the door if Angel showed any signs of losing sh could run there before his mother could stop her.

Angle smiles at Herbert as his mucles had now doubled in size and had stopped shacking. Angel's mother glares at Jessica. "Your lack of faith in Angle's ablity upseting and highly irriatable. So stop talking about what you feel you should do verses what you are going to do." Angel heard every word even thought he was focused on the fight. Then Herbert charges in one more time. Angel ducks Herberts wild punches and then punches Herbert extremely hard in the stomach and as Herbert grabs his stomach Angel steps on Herberts knee as her started to fall and then Angel follows up with a back flip that landed square on Herberts chin sending him soaring in the air. And before Herbert could hit the ground Angel darts foward and punches Herbert so hard he goes flying deep into the metal of a close by van.

Jessica turned to his mother opened her mouth to explain, to explain that she didnt know how to act in these situations but to give herself as a sacrifice to explain to her that she had complet faith in Angel but none in herself, tht she had been completly beaten down, physically, mentally, emotionally. But how could she explain that? How could she say that she loved Angel already and that scared her beyond everything since she didnt know how to act with that either, she chewed her bottom lip and lowered her head. "I have complet faith in your Son, I am just scared is all" Was all she said.

She turned her attention back to the fight and when Angel was winnng she walked forward to him very slowly, finally reaching Angel. "Are you Okay Angel?" To her it looked as if Herbert was at least unconcious if not dead. "He is never going to stop looking for me, I..." She stood on her tippy toes and kissed him gently on the forhead "Thank you"

Angel's arm catches Jessica's waist as she on her toes to kiss his forehead. "Ignore my mother she didn't mean what she said she worries just as much as you if not more." He looks at the manger of the resturant owner and pulls a coulpe hundred bucks out of Herberts wallet. He then tosses the wallet on top of Herberts knocked out body. He then grabs Jessica's hand and leads her over to the motorcycles as his mother followed and says, "Come on lets go home I will make dinner." He leaps on his bike and starts it up.

Jessica shook her head "No she is right, I should have fought Herbert, or go with him", she lowered her eyes. "I don't think he is ever going to let me go" She swallowed then numbly nodded as he suggested they go home. She jumped on her bike and speed off weaving in and out of traffic. until she reached his house then she turned off the engine and got off the bike then sat on the grass hugging her knees to her chest and hugged them.

Angel pulls up on his bike his mother soon after. He looks at her and then makes an slight head nodded his mother does the same and walks into the house. Angel walks in over to Jessica and sits down next to her. He dosen't say a word after awhile he just folds his arm behind his head and lays back on the front lawn. "I don't think my mother ever wanted you to fight Herbert. She just wanted you to have faith in me. You saw the scars this moring and I am pretty sure you know the story." He takes his and strokes Jessica's back. "You are aprat of of the Angels now you are under my protection from now and forever just like everybody else was."

Jessica didnt even raise her head when she heard the bikes return, she was terrifed and ashamed and angry all at once when she heard the foot steps coming toward her she froze, she felt even more upset when he didnt acknowledge her when he finally spoke the tears feel again. And shelowered herself and laid down on his chest. "I do have faith in you I trust you, I just cant hadle watching anyone I love get hurt because of me.

She turned her head and looked up at him, "Yes your mom told the story, you have suffered enough how could I let you suffer more because of me?"

Angel laughs at Jessica. "You have faith but very little of it." He kisses the top of her head and says, "I would never let that happen to me or anyone else ever again. That happened a long time ago. I am a diffrent person and I have done a lot more training ang growing up since then."

Hearing his laugh Jessica closed her eyes. Then as he spoke she chewed her bottom lip, she then lifted her head and looked up at him. "I am just frightened Angel, I will try though, you have saved me many times" She bent down and kissed his lips softly. "And I thank you for that" She then laid backdown her head nesting in his neck.

Angel kissed her back and as she nested her head in his neck he smiles and strokes the top of her head softly. After about half an hour of laying on the ground. Angel says, "Jessica we should get up go inside." He smiles as he warps his arms around her and sits up. Then he stands up and helps Jessica up. He takes her hand and leads her into the house. Where his mother just sat there with an huge smile on her face. "You two wash up I made something else for you to eat."

Relaxing in his arms Jessica sighed and cloesed her eyes, she wasnt aware of how long they had layed there but she was soon being lifted up.. "Alright Angel" She smiled as he recommened they go inside, once inside she smiled to his mother. "Thank you" She then walked into the bathroom and washed her hands then she walked back into the kitchen and sat down at the table.

Angel smiles as he enters the room and sits down in the chair next to Jessica. He kisses her hand then he sits down and smiles at his mother and then he smiles and says, "What did you make mom." His mom smiles back at Jessica and says, "I made some chicken parmasen for you too."

Seeing Angel walk in Jessica calmed down and as he kissed her hand she smiled. Then lifted even more when his mom mentoned the dinner it was one of her favorite meals "Thank you so much" She began to eat her meal smiling her hand resting on Angel's upper thigh. "This tastes lovely"

Angel had no idea what to do with her hand so he left it there and ate his dinner. After dinner he took her hand in his and smiled at her. He then took a sip of his drink and says, "I did tell you I was gonna explain to you what was wrong with wat you said." He smiles and says, "Herbert was arrested for child abuse even though he got out of jail due to the extensive damage he did to you he will never be able to take you back into his custody." He smiles and lifts her hand and kisses it.

Jessica herself wasnt too sure why she had kept her hand there, it just felt comfortable she ate her meal too and sipped at her drinks. Whe they were done and he took her hand he turned and looked at him. She chewed her bottom lip as he spoke she wanted to belive him, but when he kissed her hand she leaned in for a hug. "I'm glad to hear that and I will try to remember" She nodded. "I was always returned before, he has pull in the city" She shrugged, "but he didnt go to jail those times"

Angel smiles and says, "I am safer then the city and my mother has the paper work that says it." He kisses her hand and walks away from the table and grabs another tea and then walks into the other room and cuts on the T.V and then lays across the couch. And starts to drink his tea as he flips the channels to some stand up that was on the television.

Jessica looked surprised. "Your mom? She looked up at her and swallowed hard "Thank you" She watched him leave then stood cleared her dishes then walked into the livingroom siting on the floor at his head, enjoying the time just relaxing.

Angel looked up and saw Jessica sitting on the floor. He instantly reaches up and grabs her by her sides and lifts her off the ground as if she was a child and then he drops her butt first on his stomach. "Next time you should ask instead of just sitting on the floor." He then went back to watching the television.

Letting out a yelp as Angel picked her up at put her down, Jessica giglged. "I dont mind siting on the floor Angel I just wanted to be wth you" She then laid down infront of him watching the tv programe. "Whats this Angel"? She turned her head to look at him and smiled kising his chin then turned back to the tv to watch it with him.
