The two men smile and say, "Come on little guy lets see what you are made of." Angel smiles and cracks his joints. He flexs up and moves towards the men slowly but the one of the men went on the attack throwing crushing blows at him he does an back flip and leaps at the man his body twirling while parallel from the ground he wips out his elbow and cracks the man in the face dropping him like rock in water. But out the corner of his eye he sees the other man going for Jessica. He steps back and leaps over the car excuting the same move but this time whipping out his knee and cathing the other man in the temple of his head knockin him out cold. He hears someone calling him and sees a man looking out the window cursing at him as other men came pouring out the hospital he looks at an drowsy Jessica and dives through the window of his car window right by Jessica he checks her pulse and her tempeture she had an fever. He whips out of the parking lot and takes off down the street.

Jessica had tried to stay focused but she was finding it harder and harder to stay awake her body felt as if it was on fire and she felt as if she was getting hit wave after wave of exhaustion. She looked around for Angel she was finding it really difficult to stay away she could tell that she had a fever. She fell back asleep no longer able to stay awake her last vision was of Angel getting into the car and touching her she shivered at his touch as she was burning up clearly at least a fever of 104-105 she mumbled his name then passed out again

Angel gets to the house and flings his door open and flips over the car and opens the door and pulls out an passed out Jessica. He runs her into the house and palces her on his bed and jets by his mother and grabs an cloth coverd in warm water and places it on her forehead. He strokes her from her head too her shoulder.

Jessica wasnt aware what was happening. She could vaguly feel herself being carried from the car and placed on a soft bed. But she couldnt bring herself to come to. Everything seemed like it was far away. Voices, touches everything. She felt soemthing on her forhead and let out a soft moan but she was still too far gone. Her body began to shiver as her tempeture climbed higher.

Angel gets an cooler rag and puts it on her head. "Jessica can you hear me." He repeated over and over again. Then he got an nice and big fan and aimed it at her. Then he went back to her gentely wipein her face with the cold rag and as she cooled off. Angel leaves to get her some soup.

With the cold cloth the mumbling stopped and she fell back into a deep sleep. It was her bodys way of protecting her from the fever. She could feel the wind on her but could not awaken. As he left to go get the soup however her eyes did flutter open for a moment or two then she fell back asleep.

After a little while she awoke again and slowly sat into bed her world was spinning around and she didnt know where she was she begain to hyperventaliate and get really nervous.

Angel reaches arcoss the bed and strokes the side of her face. "Calm down your fever has died down and their is some warm soup for you." He strokes the side of her face again. "You are in my room. I know it is an mess and the bed isn't all that comfortable." He takes an spoonful of soup and to feed it to Jessica.

Hearing his voice Jessica calmed down. "In your room?" she asked as if it didnt make sence. She opened her mouth and swallowed the soup with a smile "Mmmm thats good" She smiled and through a strained voice spoke slowly "Your bed is much more comfortable then the floor" She took a few more bites then fell back asleep.

Angel cuts on his TV and says, "I will be here when she awakes." Then he leans his head back on the wall and wait for Jessica to awake. His mother walks in and says, "This is the girl you bring home. I think you save her for more than the fact then she was someone that needed the help." His mother strokes the girls long hair and says, "I will go out and get her some clothes." She turns around and wacks an half sleep Angel. "Put those guns up while you are in the house. And when I get back you are going to tell me what happened to your hand." She strokes her son's cheek and then says, "Keep an look out I put your car in the back yard. Those thugs have been driven around like idots." She leaves the room. Then her car starts up and she pulls out of the dirve way and head too the store.

Jessica had felt someone stroking her head she could hear them talking and when she left she fluttered her eyes open blinking. "Who, was that?" She managed to squeek out she tired to sit up but the world spun around to fast she she laid back down and looked over at Angel. "Is that woman upset that I am here" Talking was a strain but she looked around and slightly smiled to Angel "So you going to tell me how I got here"

Angel looks at Jessica and smiles. "No she isn't mad you are here she just likes hitting me." He strokes the side of her face. "My car you were half awake the whole time. Those thugs showed up at the hospital. So we went out the window. I may have pulled my shoulder out the socket but my mom will look it over when she gets back." He smirks and then instead of stroking the side of her face he placed his hand there and left it. "We ran into some trouble in the parking lot but I solved that and then we drove here. My mom went to go get you some clothes and I got your medication before you left."

Jessica blinked trying to understand what he was saying. She could hear it but it didnt fully make sense to her. But she did like his touch she turned into it as a kitten nuzzles into a stroke. "They showed up at the hospital?" Jessica shook her head "I cant keep you and your mom in danger, they are just going to keep looking for me, they probably followed you here..." Her breathing became ragged again.

Through her ragged breathing she looked up at him. "Your mom is buying me clothes?" She laid back down. "I havent had anything new since my father bought me some before he was KIA'd" She had to smile. "I dont want to be a bother though"

Jessica nodded. "Well I think saving me from certain death is a very good thing" She liked the feel of his hand on her cheek. She looked at him. "I guess your mother is going to want to know my story?" She looked down then moved her eyes so they stared up at him from the top of hereyes. "Or do I still look really beaten up that its self explainitory?"

Angel looks at her. "No explanation is needed as far as you are here." He smiles at her and says, "And plus you look great there is nothing to fear when it comes to your looks." He slowly moves his thumb across her cheek. Then stops suddenly as his mother pulled into the drive way and some thugs stopped in the yard and helped started to hassle her about Jesscia and Angel seeing if they knew where she was. Angel held his ground his hand palming his head board as the men slapped the keys out of his mothers hand and shoved her and walked off eating some of the fruit. Angel crushes the part of the wooden head board that was in his hand. His mother comes in the room and Angel was sitting on the far side of the bed looking out the window his hand gentaly on Jessica's knee.

Jessica nodded slowly. "Alright Angel if you insist" She winked up at him "I suppose you are in the habit of brining home beat up girls often so your mom is used to it" She grinned at him but it quickly turned to a frown when she saw his expression, something was wrong and if only she could get up and see she would have ran out of the house, she had too keep them safe. She looked up at Angel, "Its them isnt it, I told you they would find me, why do you think I never ran away, I was always caught"

As his mom walked in she turned to her. "Maam thank you, but they will never leave you alone, I dont want anything to happen to you, as soon as I can walk I will leave" She paused "Unless you want me out earlier?"

Angel's mom cut an eye at Jessica and says, "Have you lost your mind. I would never kick you out of my house to be honest it is just nice to see Angel working with an pretty young lady like yourself. I use to worry about him when he brought home all of his injured team mates and I would only see a gilr l ever other blue moon." He smiles and pats Jessica on the head then noticed the head board and turns and swats Angel an good one. "Boy I have told you bout your anger and you are suppose to control it. Bet you thats hou you broke your hand aint it." Angel just cuts his eyes at his mom. She smiles and hugs her soon and says, "I am fine. I am a big girl and can take care of myself. Now stop worring yourself about those damed thugs." She kisses his head and leaves. Angel says nothing he just reaches back and takes Jessica's hand.

Jessica nodded and laid back on the bed "Thank you" She tried to smile but it came out strange the swolleness still not completly down. "I think you named Angel the prefect thing he is turely an Angel, he saved my life many times this week" She closed her eyes as His mother hit Angel she shuddered slighly but swallowed hard.

She reopened her eyes as she hugged him that made feel better . As she left she looked up at him "What happened to your hand?" She raised an eyebrow I am not going to let this go until you tell me!"

Angel just squeezes her hand lightly and says, "Maybe we can talk about it later." He pulls an container of pills out of his pocket wit his other hand. "These are your morphine pills it says, You are to take one ever three hours for three days max." He turns and places them on dresser next to the bed. "You should rest your body. You don't have to go to sleep but you do need to relax and let your body calm down by morning you should be able to get and walk around on your own. Most of your rids are healed one or two are still healing the were broken pretty bad." Angel just continues to lightly squeez her hand. "I will have to leave to night I won't be far but I will be cloes enough to watch you so don't do anything you ain't suppose to do." He raises his hand his face and lightly kisses.

Jessica knew something was up, but she just nodded. "Alright Angel" She watched as he pulled out the pills she knew what it was and was relived she hadnt let it show but she was in a lot of pain but she wanted to be strong, she had gone without the pills before, but when he pulled them out she relized her being in pain was pointess when there was a way not to be.

She nodded as he instructed her "Alright Angel" She looked down "He got me preety good this time huh?" It stil hurt to breath but even just him sitting her helped her a lot. As he explained that he would have to leave she looked up at him. She didnt want him to leave but she knew that he had to do something and understood. "Angel would you be able to give me a pil before you leave so I can rest?"

Angel walks to his closet and opens it where an mini refigirateor. He opens it up and grabs an sprite. This will help your stmoach. He takes the soda to her and gives her an pain pill. He places the pill on her tongue and then slowly lifts up her head and pours some soda down her throat so that she could swallow the pill.

Jessica smiled as Angel gave her the sprite and the pills then settled down on the bed and looked over at the TV. "Anythinggood on?" She smiled, having some back ground noise would help her rest and would make her feel as if she wasnt alone. She looked up at him again "Is your mother going to be home when you go out?"

"Now go to sleep or you will have to deal with me." He slowly moves his hand down the front of her face closing her eyes. Then he turned and walked away. His mother gave him and plate and says, "Be back within two hours." Angel nodds in agreement and then hugs his mother and walks out the house he pulls up the garuge and pulls out an nice bike Angel eats his food and drives out of the dirve way and off down the street.

She shook her head at food "I am alright I dont need anything Angel but thank you" She grinned at his idle threat. "Aww you wouldnt hurt me" As he closed her eyes she cuddled into a ball almost disapering and promptly fell asleep.

Angel was cruzing down the street he had on an big white trench coat on. He went around the corner where he sees an bunch of bikers and then angel pulls up to them his hair over his eyes he looked around as the approched him. "Hey kid nice bike." One of the approching bikers says. Another biker grabs Angels shouleder "We are going to have to take that from you." Angel leaps up and chopping one in the throat spining in the air he leveled everyone else with his kicks. He then runs and destroys their back and then pulls off. Then about two hours later then he returns with an long small box under his arm he speeds through at as the bikers where just starting to rise. He zooms back to his house and then he pulls into his gaurge and gets off the bike and walks into the house. "He finds an sleeping mother of his and a cuddle up sleeping Jessica. "He places the box on the bed next to Jessica. In the box was an long red trenchcoat that was similar to the one Angel was wearing and just like his on the back it said God's Eyes.
