Ryota grinned and poked him in the ribs. "You're right. . . you'd probably just get fat" he teased, grinning widely. He couldn't picture Sora being taller than him. The blonde had always been the taller one, and he couldn't see that ever changing. . . it would just be weird. "Well that's a good thing. . . I wouldn't want to be the short one, and someone's gotta fill that position" he said with a laugh.

"Aww, thanks for the compliment thing," Sora said, laughing. "It'd be a little harder to do what we do best if you were the shorter one.....well, no. It'd be easier, maybe, technically, but it'd be too big of a change for us, so then it'd be a bit awkward the first couple times." Sora thought it over for a second more, then dropped it all together in his mind. He was happy the way he and Ryota were.

Ryota laughed and shook his head an amusement. "It would be pretty weird. . . but we could work it out" he said with a smile. They could probably work anything out. They had to, to be how they were, seeing as they used to hate each other's guts. His stomach growled again and he looked down at it, frowning. "Shut up" he muttered, poking it. He knew it was a bit strange that he was talking to his stomach, but he didn't care. "Ugh, I hope there's food in the kitchen still. . . well I'll check" he said with a sigh smiling at Sora slightly before walking down the hall to search.

Sora laughed in amusement as Ryota tried to tell his stomach to shut up. He always did things that didn't make sense, but it was funny and pretty cute to him. He followed Ryota into the kitchen, helping him look for food. "Anything you're in the mood for that we could probably steal from someone?" he asked, looking for whatever he was in the mood for.

Ryota searched the kitchen slowly, sticking his head in cabinets first. "Hmm, I dunno. I'm always in the mood for anything, so as long as there's something edible around, I'm good" he said with a slight laugh, laughing harder at the echoey sound it made from the empty cupboard he had his head in at the moment. He pulled his head out and closed the door, dropping the floor to check the cabinets under the counter.

"Any luck so far?" Sora asked, looking through random drawers and junk. So far, nothing on his end. Ah well, something was bound to come up. If not, they could always go to the town just over and grab something to eat. "I have a suggestion if you're like me, and getting no results here."

Ryota sighed and shook his head, pulling it out of another cupboard, which contained an empty cereal box. "Nope. Nothing here" he said, making a face before moving to the fridge, growling when he saw the almost bare shelves. "Goddamnit! All there is is some mouldy brown stuff which I don't want to know about, and what looks like curdled milk. . . and I think that used to be carrots in the bottom. . .".

Ryota nodded in agreement, but he was all too used to there being nothing but disgusting old food left. "Hmm, sounds good" he answered brightly, liking the idea of leaving the base, and getting something fresh and of his choice to eat. "Um, after I fix my hair though. . . one sec" he laughed slightly before running off down the hall, putting his discomfort and pain behind him, brushing his hair and putting it up again easily before dashing back, only taking about a minute.

Sora waited for his blonde to hurry along and fix his hair, and when he came back, he held his hand and led him to the door. "Right, so the town is a good run away, think you can make it?" he challenged, knowing Ryota's energy could definitely get him there.

((XD i figured out today (dont ask why it was today) that my art class is in room 2069 XD woot! and my birthday is 6 9 too ^.^ i just realized that lol))

Ryota followed to the door, still ignoring the slight pain in his ass. He snorted at the question and rolled his eyes. "Of course I can! I bet'chya I can beat you there" he said with a smirk, eyes flashign slightly at his own challenge. When he ran he used his long legs to an advantage, which made him faster than alot of people.

"Yeah?" Sora asked, getting ready to run. "With a limp and the fact that since I'm smaller I can go faster?" Speed was his advantage with almost any battle. Because of his slighter form than most, he could run as fast as he could. Adding chakra to his feet to enhance this could put him faster than a flash of light. He could win if he wanted.

"Screw the limp, I'm perfectly fine!" Ryota scoffed, though he winced as he crouched down slightly. "Well I've got longer legs. . . that's gotta make me faster" he said surely, grinning slightly. He knew he would probably lose, but not by very much. "Okay. . . ready. . . set. . . GO!" he shouted the last word, taking off running in the direction of the nearest town.

Sora took off right behind Ryota, for a short while allowing him the front of the race. When Ryota seemed to be doing all right with running and not tripping on his face, Sora sped up, easily gaining the lead. "You comin', Ryota?" he asked, teasing him.

Ryota narrowed his eyes at the redhead as Sora past him, growling slightly. "Of course I am, and I'm gonna beat your sorry ass and win" he growled with a slight smirk, speeding up more so that he was running alongside his lover. The air was blowing his hair back as he ran, keeping up relatively easily.

Ryota glanced sideways at Sora, smirking and opening his mouth to say something when his foot caught on a tree root and he fell, a bt surprised. He recovered easily though, doing a summer sault as he hit the ground, landing back on his feet and sprinting faster. "Fuck. . . that's cheap" he muttered, watching the ground now as he ran.

(( we were playing manhunt in the forest in gym today and i ran through these bushes that stung so bad, so i got out, but then i had itchy bumps all over my legs where i touched them, and it hurt soo muchh, but there gone now. . . it was weird XO))

Sora looked back when Ryota tripped over, then was about to stop and go back when he rolled and got back up somehow. Sora kept on running, since Ryota seemed to be okay, if not a little annoyed and or frustrated. "Might be cheap, but I'd win anyway you know," Sora said, trying to get his spirits back up into the race.

(that sounds fun. We don't have games like that)

Ryota grinned at his words, laughing. "Yeah right. I'm so gonna win this!" he said loudly, used to the competetiveness they often had, even now. It was nice to stretch his legs like this and get some excercize, making sure he stayed in shape, even if it wasn't a very long run. He stretched his legs as far as he could as he ran, determined to win, as always.

((heh, yeah it was pretty fun. i pwned so much. i was picked to be the person to start off catching people, and i caught 10 people in total, which made me win ^.^ you dont have games like that in gym?? seriously!? XO that SUCKS. we dont normally, but we have been this week cuz its the first week and everythings messed up))

(Nah, our school's just boring and junk and has no money to play games like that. It's just, run around the gym with a basketball and try to score in the hoop before the other colors do... now doesn't that sound exhilarating?)

Sora allowed himself just to increase his speed just a bit, so he could tease Ryota by first catching up to him, then slowly gaining more speed to pass him. Torture him a bit by showing him that he still had the ability to keep on going faster. Traveling had been good for this reason.

Ryota glanced sideways at his lover as he passed him again, pulling ahead. It was quite obvious that Sora could, and would, win the race, but he wasn't going to give up. He ran as fast as he could, pulling up beside Sora again and trying to inch past him, his eyes blazing with determination.

Ryota looked so hot when he was trying to win and had no intentions of giving up. He'd let him win because he was trying so hard. Sora pulled back just a little bit in his running so Ryota was a couple feet ahead of him. He didn't mind losing, because he knew he could win if he wanted. He'd let Ryota win this because he wanted to see his reaction.

Ryota didn't even notice that Sora had dropped behind him, continuing to sprint as fast as he could. They were nearing their destination anyways, so he just knew that Sora was somewhere behind him. He didn't care how far behind as long as he was in the lead. The village they were headed to was soon in sight and Ryota grinned slightly, knowing that he was probably going to win, though he had no idea that his lover was letting him win.

The village was just up ahead, and Sora could see Ryota was happy with him getting a lead. Hopefully he wouldn't figure out he'd let him win, because then sometimes he'd get mad and rant about that. Chances were that he wouldn't even notice that he'd be the only one completely exhausted by the time they stopped. Sora came to a halt when they got into the village, Ryota having stopped before him since he had gotten in first. He tried to make himself seem more winded then he really was.

Ryota ran right to the village, stopping once he was there. He was breathing heavily and he dropped his hands to his knees, bent over to catch his breath as Sora ran up after him. He grinned broadly, proud of himself, even though he hadn't actually won, but he had no idea. "Ha! I SO pwned your ass!" he gasped, straightening up and wiping a bit of sweat off of his face.
