he frowned. " meridian.. release him, come here, he obviously does not want you.. i will find you a better home.. someone who will take more care of you then i can or he."

Meridian tensed again as she tightened her hold on him. " no!. " whimpered slightly as she looked up at him, she knew damn well what others would want to do to her, and most masters where not very gentle... " i don't want to go with anyone else but you."

He lookd to her and then grinned slightly cocking his ead to the side and then knelt down hugging her..."I'm sorry but you have to go..." He says saddly as he looked to her.."Go with him...'

Meridian whimpered again but couldn't do anything as she was pulled away from him.

he glanced at corbin and sighed. " best get going..its only going to make it worse if you stay longer.. " he glanced at meridian and knew she would be upset with the both of them, she allready had tears now running down her cheeks and for the life of him he couldn't figure out what had gotten into her.

He looked to Meridian as she was pulled away from him...He saw the tears in her eyes...SHe was so up set of him...And all he did was hurt her..."Wait...." He says as he looked to her master..He couldn't let her go.

he stopped and arched a brow while he still had a hold of a wriggling Meridian. " have you changed your mind then ? really now , make up your mind. .. the longer this plays out the more she may suffer. "

Meridian sniffed slightly as she stopped wiggling around a little as he said to wait..her ears perked foward , looking a little hopefull she shifted from food to foot, watching him intently to see what he would do next.

he sighed and glanced at meridian before he released her, and almost immediately she shot foward and practically nearly tackled Corbin, wrapping her arms around his waist and buried her face against his chest, keeping a tight hold on him. " well i think that settles it.. she still wants to go with you , you must have made a very big impression on her.. atleast i know your going to take good care of her... heh promise you will bring her by every now and then ?.. i will give you my new address if you like."

He smiles hugging her back jsut as tightly. He was shocked that she would even want to come back with him...He then looked to her master..."I will take care of her..." He says with a smile as he then looked to Meridian and then back to her master..."I'll know where to find you." He says with a smile.

he arched a brow before shaking his head. " heh your a very peculiar man.. but i like it.. and as long as she trusts you enough like that then i know she is in good hands.. she doesn't trust to lightly you know.. " he blinked in surprise as he heard a sound he hadn't heard in a while.. Meridian was purring.. " oh... music to my ears, been a while since she has actually done that.. " he smiled.. " she stopped doing that the day her kitten died... .. ahh which reminds me. " he called for one of his servents. the moment she came in he spoke. " bring me Raja.. " the woman nodded before dissappearing, coming back minutes later with a small baby Cheetah.. " nekos are very found of cats of all type... and can bond with them quickly.. i know for a fact that she will become friends with this little guy.... i got him off a market.. some hunters had killed his mother and was going to kill him.. he made me think of Mer.. so i took him in. .. give him to Meri , sue."

Meridian blinked as she turned slightly , eyes widening as she spotted the baby cheetah.. still purring she reached out as the servent came foward and took the cheetah cub, smiling as the little guy made a chirping sound that normal cheetahs do, a call for their mothers, before the little kitten nuzzled against her.. " thank you...."

He smiled.. " your welcome,, lets just say its a goodbye present.. besides, where you are going. i am sure he will be safe from any type of... jealous women yes?" he glanced at Corbin with that question.

Meridian relaxed, looking over to her old master before going over to hug him again , placing a light kiss on his cheek before going back over to corbin and relaxed as she leaned against him, lightly nuzzling the kitten to keep him calm. " hmmm yep.. ready to go.. "she looked over at her old master and smiled. " miss you. "

he smiled. " allready missing you to.. just be safe and that is all that counts in keepng me happy.."

Corbin smiles he was actually pretty happy at how this was all turning out. He watched as Meridian went back to her old master kissing him lightly on the cheek before comming back to him.."Alright here we go." Meridian blinked, seeing spots again as she nearly fell over from him transporting them once again. " ack!... wish you would warn me when you do that." she mumbled as she sat down slowly on the bed and rubbed at her eyes, placing the kitten on the bed who looked around and gave another chirping call. .. She looked up at him and sighed." its ok.... i may not.. understand fully but i am not that stupid you know."

she looked up at him and bit her lip. glancing down at the small gold anklet around her left ankle.. one of the things that marked her as a slave.. "oh... i really.... don't remember how to not be a slave that much.... i remember slightly when i was free.. but they are just... shady memories i guess. " mumbled as she looked up at him. " i can try and not be a slave... but.. i still have the branding that marks me as one... so anyone who sees me will still think i am a slave.. " unless of course she got branded again, with a new brand that marked her as a free slave.. no longer obligated to follow orders and allowed to do as she was pleased... She would feel warmth travel threw her body completly taking the brands away..."There..Your free to do what you want..." He syas with a smile as he looked to her..."You mean too much too me...Meridian...But after all I have done threw out my life I still believe that I don't deserve you."

she relaxed and kissed him back, giving a light purring sound before shaking her head. " i won't judge you on your past.. that is not me.. whats done is done, can't be undone... but tell me.. why can you not sleep?" she frowned, she had noticed that he never slept. not even when she slept.. she always had a feeling he just layed there watching her.
