My Mechanic (Male)
Blood. Everywhere she looked, there was blood. And it all belonged to her, a mere 12 year-old demi-saiyan who had just lost even more. The girl tried to stand, but it was hard when missing her right foot. She cried out in anger, pain, and regret while she tightly clutched on the area that was also missing a limb. Her left arm was torn from her and what only resided was her shoulder blade. Her monkey-like tail, a symbol of her saiyan heritage, was also gone. She looked around the dark room, her dark brown eyes dilated in horror and a very unpleasant shock. Her eyes could not tear away from what she had created, despite the horrible sight. She felt a twisted wrath mixed with a terrible feeling of regret and anguish just when the dark room only seemed to go pitch black. Nothing could be seen, except for that distorted and mangled-up creation of a being and another dark void. The swirling void of a dark purple light looked ominous, especially since it looked like it would suck her up yet again. Before the whirlpool-like void was able to do just that, a burst of light pierced the dark hole. The girl had suddenly felt no more pain as her hardened optics softened while she stared into the light. Instead, everything went numb, followed by a neutral-sounding voice.
She could not tell if the voice was masculine or feminine. " Sucreana....Sucreana, hey...wake up...." She closed her eyes from the light for a long time, but when they were reopened, Sucreana had awakened from the dream she usually got after a new automail implant. Sucreana was in a cold sweat from that dream, where that 12 year-old girl depicted her in the dream. She looked around the dimly-litted room, her breaths short and heavy. When her eyes moved to the man hovering over her, she knew that the voice belonged to him. " How do you feel....?" the man, who was around her age, asked her in his softened voice. Sucreana sat up and a silence overcame her before she answered him. " Yes, the new automail feels good now..." she said in her monotone voice. Her facial expression remained straight like it always did, her cold eyes scanning the sleek automail that served as her left arm. " You always do a great job..." she said calmly to him. The man before her was her automail mechanic and he had been that for her since she was 12, when that tragic day happened. He wasn't exactly her mechanic when he was younger though, but he actually worked along-side his mother for Sucreana's first time having automail placed on her. It was a painful process, even for a saiyan like her, because each wire in the automail had to be connected to every one of her nerves, but it was something that Sucreana wanted to do at such a young age anyway.
Despite that Sucreana knew her mechanic for about 6 years now, he had never seen her smile, cry, or do anything with much emotion. She was always emotionless, calm, dark, and most of the time, serious. She didn't do anything fun either, but Sucreana was never much like this 'before' the incident. Her mechanic also didn't even know what incident caused her to lose the limbs she lost. She never told him what had happened, but then again, not even her younger sister knew the truth. If not for her mechanic and his mother finding her in that abandoned warehouse, she would've probably bled to death. The 18 year-old demi-saiyan moved her legs to the bed-side and stood up to retrieve her clothing on the other side of the bedroom. She only had on her bra and panties, but that was because her mechanic needed proper access to her arm and foot while doing the earlier procedure and he oddly preferred for her to keep on her undergarments. " I thank you once again for doing this, my last battle damaged the automail...." Sucreana murmured as she pulled on her last piece of clothing, which were a pair of black arm-length gloves. Well she was half saiyan after all and fighting was in her blood. " I will bring you the money tomorrow...." she said calmly as she walked out the room and made her way to the main door. She was about to open the door and leave when her mechanic called her name. " Yes...?" Sucreana said as she glanced back to look at him with her hard eyes.
(I need a male character who's around Sucreana's age, but it doesn't really matter--I know her dream was broken apart, but since she basically dreamt out her past, all of the details will be filled in later on! It's up to your character to ask about it piece by piece though ^^ I would also like whoever joins to know something about "Full Metal Alchemist" since I got the automail part from it and some of her past, but you only have to know about automail and human transmutation and that's about it! Also know what a saiyan is...if you don't, I will tell you that and what automail is if you need me to, and this can be a romance if you want it to be or more than one since she has a sister that will also be apart of this so bringing in another character is up to you, but anyway, feel free to join! ^^)

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Rath worked swiftly upon her automail, taking care in the nerve connections, knowing they were painful if connected incorrectly. Finishing the final touch on her arm (having finished her foot earlier), he replaced the plate and cinched it down tight. Replacing his tools, he removed them from the room, dropping them in their usual place by the door before moving toward her. Looking down at the face of the female he had known for several years, he was loath to wake her, but knowing the types of dreams that usually came with automail implants, he cleared his throat and spoke softly to her.
"Sucreana...Sucreana, hey...wake up," he said quietly, trying not to startle her. As her eyes slid open, he could tell that she wasn't having one of the better dreams, causing him to look down before carefully pulling up his mask and tucking it beneath the headband hiding his eye and scar, since he only took it down during the day to work. “How do you feel,” he asked her in the same quiet voice he usually used. He watched as she checked the automail before giving her positive response.
Smiling, even though she couldn’t see it, he nodded once as he stepped back as she rose from the bed. By now, the sight of her in her undergarments was the norm for him, but he drew the line there. Politely averting his gaze as she pulled on her clothes, he responded with a noncommittal grunt of acknowledgement. When she crossed the room and exited, he followed her to the main door and spoke her name before he even thought about it. When she turned and looked at him, he swallowed slightly before speaking again in his quiet voice.
“Would you like to stay for dinner,” he asked her, glancing over at the kitchen entrance, “I believe I made far too much for myself, and would be glad for the company.” It was true on both accounts. People tended to avoid the automail mechanic like the plague in the small town, his only company being those that needed automail, or needed maintenance. He knew it was because of the fact that his face was often hidden beneath the mask and headband, not to mention the fact that his mother had been found brutally murdered in their home as he returned from the market. No matter the evidence pointing otherwise, they believed him guilty of the act, even though he had only been 14 at the time, and absent from the house.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
As usual, the demi-saiyan’s facial expression did not change, even when she heard him ask her if she wanted to stay for dinner. The lack of emotions for so long probably made her forget how to be surprised or even a little taken aback by unexpected situations, or requests, in this case. That was why it was always hard to read Sucreana--she barely revealed her emotions through her facial expressions, unless she was required to frown in order to express her current mood or something similar to that. Most people never thought of interpreting one’s emotions in other ways though, aside from the look on someone’s face. Sucreana didn’t respond to his question right away. She always thought everything over in her mind before she answered or responded to anything, despite the pressure that it may have caused for other to answer as quickly as possible, but on the outside, it usually just looked like she was staring at you just for the heck of it. Rath would probably know that she wasn’t just staring at him though, since he knew her for awhile now. There wasn’t much she had to do today. If she went home right away, she would most likely just end up training for awhile, meditating, and then cooking something for her sister, so truthfully, she didn’t have anything to do today. What harm could it do to stay and have dinner with him? “ Yes, I would like to stay….” she responded with a single nod of her head in his direction. If she was able to become surprised, she would’ve been surprised that anyone would want her company. People usually felt….awkward around her because she didn’t say or express much. Plus, it made some individuals uncomfortable when they weren’t able to read their guest at all. Perhaps that didn’t matter to Rath because he was probably used to it or just wasn’t picky with his company.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Smiling slightly at her, he nodded once and walked toward the small kitchen area, every other step being slightly louder as he adjusted to the new automail he had installed upon his own person. He had received a new metallic alloy for automail, but it was heavier than normal automail alloy, and he couldn't quite decide if he liked it or not. Holding the door open, he gestured into the kitchen with his free hand. Following her in, he smiled slightly, even if she couldn’t see it. “Have a seat,” he said gesturing toward the worn oak table as he crossed to the stove and pulled the top of a large pot. It was indeed more than he could eat…it may take him more than a week to eat it all, much to his displeasure. Looking inside the pot, the delicious smell of the stew reached his nose through its cloth covering. It was done. Grabbing a pair of bowls, he filled them before setting them upon the table, spoons quickly joining them. Dragging out a chair beside her, he sank into it bonelessly, as per his norm. It was a little awkward having company after all the years of being alone, but he managed to suppress the uncomfortable feeling aside. He should be used to being shunned by now, but it still brought him pain when people looked at him with disgust due to his mixed heritage. It was also due to that mixed heritage that they believed him guilty of murdering his own mother. Idiots. Now, he covered his sole red eye when around people, to make them more comfortable at the price of his own pride.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Sucreana followed after Rath to the kitchen area shortly after he began to make his way there. She mentally took note of the slightly louder automail that he was wearing, assuming that it must’ve been knew for him. Most people wouldn’t have paid much attention to it, but she did. She paid attention to everything that was around, due to her high alertness, despite that it never looked like she was paying attention to anything. Her ears were especially sensitive to new noises to. She silently made her way into the kitchen, walking through the door that he had held open. When he gestured towards the work oak table, she took a seat in a wooden chair that perfectly matched the table’s setting, her hard, dark brown eyes watching him as he grabbed a pair of bowls and started to fill them up with the delicious-smelling stew that was still on the stove. After he took a seat beside her, she looked down at the bowl, picked up her eating utensil, and slowly scooped up some of the stew it, eventually taking a small bite of it. She didn’t feel uncomfortable just sitting there in that awkward silence, despite that she hadn’t shared a meal with anyone else besides her sister in quite awhile, but after taking a bite of the stew, she finally said something. “ This is very delectable….you are quite the skilled cook, Rath….” she stated in her calm, monotonous, but smooth voice as she glanced over to him, her optics locking with his own reds ones for a moment. As usual, her face was expressionless. She actually wasn’t much of a ‘stew’ kind of person, but seeing as how she was still eating his stew--well, that said a lot on how good his stew really was. She wouldn’t eat something that she didn’t like after all.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Looking down at the table, Rath pulled the cloth covering his face down, revealing the slight scarring, and his mismatched eyes. Taking a bite himself, he savored it briefly before glancing back up and meeting her eyes. At her praise, he ducked his head slightly, his white hair falling into his face as a light blush spread across his face. “Thanks...its a family recipe though...not too hard to follow the directions,” he forced a slight chuckle, which came out sounding like he cleared his throat. Taking another bite of the hot dish, he slid his fingers into his hair, brushing it away from his face. He knew she was on high-alert, even though she appeared to be completely relaxed within the confines of his home/automail workshop. How he wished he had someone to spend time with, the only people who had ever given him the time-of-day (when he wasn’t working on them) were Sucreana, Serenity, and his mother. Oh well. Releasing a slight sigh, he shook his head from his thoughts. “So, how’s your sister doing,” he asked suddenly as if he just remembered (which he did), “I haven’t seen her in years.” He remembered the younger girl quite well, she was the younger sister he never had, but wished he did. He was quite jealous of the two females due to their familial ties, and the fact that even if they felt they were quite alone, they wouldn’t be, so long as they had each other. He could get a dog. But they were high-maintenance, and being an automail mechanic didn’t give him a lot of alone time, let alone time for a dog. He would have to deal with being alone then, as were many half-bloods.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Sucreana watched him for a few moments as he seemed to duck his head slightly in response to her comment before stating that the stew was a family recipe. She knew people who screwed up often when they were given just simple directions, so even if he was just required to follow a few steps, she still thought that he had to have some sort of skills to make it this good. She didn’t really respond to his slight chuckle, seeing as how it came out sounding like he had cleared his throat. Instead, she just blinked once in his direction before she turned back to her own bowl of stew and went back to eating it slowly, pausing when he asked about her sister. Come to think of it, the last time he had seen her was when she was probably just 12 years old at the most. “ She is doing alright, but she is still headstrong and eager to fight any strong individual as always….” she said to him, saying the last part of her sentence in a much duller tone of voice than usual. She wasn’t too fond of all of her sister’s traits, apparently. At the thought of Serenity, for a moment, she began to wonder she was. She was probably somewhere in the forest they resided in, training again. Although Sucreana had a younger sister, she was usually still alone--well, technically, she wasn’t really alone in the world when she had met up with her sister again, after a few years of going their separate ways, but since Serenity was almost always outside doing her own thing somewhere else, Sucreana was usually by herself throughout the day. She didn’t exactly mind it though, because she actually liked the peace and quiet that came with being alone. She never minded Rath’s company though. Speaking of Serenity, there was a sudden knock at the door and according the familiar energy aura of the person, Sucreana already knew who it was. “ Speaking of Serenity, that is her at the door….” she stated to him calmly, shortly before she took another small bite of the stew. If Serenity decided to stay, that would definitely lower the amount of stew that he had left over.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Smiling wryly at her description of her younger sister, Rath shook his head slightly. He remembered when they had all been kids, good times. He would have missed the changed tone of voice if he had been anyone else, but instead, he allowed his smile to fade to a slight frown before jumping slightly at a knock on the door. Looking at her with a raised eyebrow, he rose to his feet jerkily, pain flaring slightly up his leg. Reaching down, he pulled his facial mask up and covered his red eye and face once again before walking out the kitchen to the door. Twisting the handle, he pulled the door open and looked out at the girl standing on the front stoop. He looked down at her with his only uncovered blue eye, his eyebrow raised slightly. “Hello Serenity,” he said calmly, smiling, even though she couldn’t see it, “Do you want to come in? I’ve got far too much stew.” He tilted his head to the side slightly, slipping one hand into his pants pocket confidently, knowing he was safe in his own home. More or less. There was that one time with a drifting criminal, but the drifting criminal was awarded with a wrench to the side of his head for his criminalistic troubles. And getting hit in the head by a mechanic of any sort spelled out trouble for anyone. Stepping out of the doorway, he gestured idly toward the kitchen where her sister was.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Serenity gave out a long, inaudible sigh as she leaned against the door, waiting for someone to answer. She was frowning deeply and looking out at the scenery before her as if she was in a serious trance of thought. Actually, she was so much in thought that she forgot that she was leaning against the door, so when Rath opened it up, she almost stumbled backwards into the house, but thanks to her quick reflexes, she ended up just flailing her arms to catch her balance before swiftly turning around to face Rath. “ Oh, hey--is Sucreana…” Serenity began quite casually, but trailed off when she realized who she was talking to. “ Whoa, is that you Rath?? I haven’t seen you in ages! How‘ve you been?” Serenity said, a friendly smirk on her face as she looked up at him with slightly widened eyes of surprise. She really had to look up because, well, she was a little on the short side for her age. She was only about 4’11”, so she immediately noticed that he had grown taller and she hadn’t unfortunately. ‘ Damn it! Is everyone taller than me?!?’ she thought in her mind momentarily, a flat look crossing her face for a second before she noticed his face mask, her saiyan tail still twitching slightly behind her from the irritation of her height issue. She decided not ask about the mask though, seeing as how he had just invited her inside for stew. “ Sure….” she responded as she stepped inside, adding in, “ There’s something I have to talk to Sucreana about anyway--speaking of my incredibly dull sister, where is she?” She was asking Rath the question, but Sucreana happened to answer her question from the kitchen. “ I’m right here….and can hear every word that comes out of your big mouth…” Sucreana replied in her calm voice, but sounded even flatter than usual since she overheard the comment her sister made. “ I’m not that loud….” Serenity said as she walked into the kitchen, stopping behind her sister’s chair when she smelled the fumes of the stew. “ It sure smells good in here….” Serenity commented with a slight smile coming to her light brown face. Apparently, what she had to tell Sucreana was on hold for now.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Rolling his eyes, only one visible, he gently closed the door behind her and followed her to the kitchen, his uneven gait slightly frustrating to the automail mechanic. “Yes, it is me, Serenity,” he said wryly, “I’m doing great, and I hear you are too.” He leaned over his seat, slowly pulling his mask back down, revealing his scarred visage and crimson eye. Taking a spoonful of stew, he tilted his head as he watched the siblings ‘argue,’ if it could be called that. Moving toward the cabinets again, he pulled down another bowl and filled it with stew, and placed it on the table, dropping a spoon beside the bowl before resuming his seat. It had been years since he had seen the younger sister, so long, in fact, he wasn’t sure if the last time he saw her he had both of his legs or not. “Short as ever, you know,” he remarked idly, a smile curving his lips up in amusement as he kept his mismatched eyes locked upon his own bowl, “I’m sure they make tall shoes now, though.” He knew that her height used to rile her up, and wondered if the comment would have the desired effect as he glanced up at her before looking over at Sucreana, his amusement plain upon his features. Looking back down at his stew, the white haired man fought the urge to see how Serenity was taking his comment.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
After staring slightly at her sister, Sucreana turned away the normal straight expression. It was almost as if she was expecting Serenity to say something more, but she didn’t. Instead, Serenity said, “ Oh, thanks…” when Raid had placed down a bowl of stew and a spoon for her. Although she was kind of hungry, she didn’t sit down to eat just yet. No, she couldn’t, especially not after hearing the word ‘short’ come out of his mouth. Actually, that was pretty much the only word she heard in his statement. Was he calling her--yes, he was. He had to have been. She was the only short person in there after all, as much as she didn’t want to admit. She blinked, a frown immediately crossing her face at that word while she gritted her teeth. The fur around her tail instantly began to rise out of irritation at that the next comment he made about tall shoes too. That, of course, riled her up, as usual. Any comment that was related to her height angered her, even if the comment was indirect. Seeing all of this just made Sucreana roll her eyes a little--she was too used to her little angry outbursts and whatnot. Suddenly, an anime anger vein appeared on the side of her head and she started grinding her teeth together through her growl. “ WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT I COULD DO CHIN-UPS ON THE CURB?!?!” she snarled out, throwing one of her fists up in the air in the process. By now, her eyes were angrily twitching. “ Serenity, he did not say all of that….now sit down….” Sucreana murmured, grabbing her tail to pull her into her seat. Since her tail was a little sensitive, pulling at it took her out of her pissed-off mode. “ Ow--watch the tail!” she said while rubbing her tail under her long, brown hair, which easily reached to the back of her knees.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Chuckling to himself, Rath looked up, his eyes twinkling in amusement. "You haven't changed a bit, Serenity," he said watching as Sucreana diffused her with a simple tug of her tail, "Still sensitive about the height. I thought you would have grown out of that by now." Smiling, the automail mechanic turned his head to look over at Sucreana, one eyebrow raised in curiousity, how they lived together without fighting was beyond him, but hey, who was he to question Sucreana's extreme patience with the temperamental demi-saiyan.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Serenity blinked as she heard Rath state that she hadn’t changed a bit, rubbing the back of her head when he also made it apparent that she was still sensitive about her height. She usually denied that she was sensitive about the topic, but instead of doing that, she just said, “ Yeah, well….I guess I still am a little….” She took a bite of the stew, just as Rath looked at Sucreana. It seemed as though she perfectly understood the look he was giving her since she replied simply by shrugging. She didn’t state that she actually didn’t have much patience all of the time with her sister, nor did she state the fact that she was one of the only people that Serenity actually listened to. Sucreana had her ways, but they probably didn’t fight too much because their personalities were different and yet, compatible. “ Tastes good….” Serenity murmured to herself with a light smile, but then a thoughtful look crossed her face. “ Rath, you should come over our house for dinner too sometime….” she said as she looked over to him, a smirk creeping onto her face. “ Sucreana’s been dying to--,” Before she could finish that sentence, Sucreana calmly interrupted her. “ Serenity, was Kyle not looking for you today….?” she questioned, making Serenity flinch a little while it almost looked like she was going to jump out of her seat. “ No….” Serenity answered flatly, eyes widened slightly in a bit of a wary way. Well, that made her forget what she was about to say, which was kind of what Sucreana was aiming for.

Re: My Mechanic (Male)
Locking his mismatched eyes upon Serenity, Rath smiled widely, his eyes twinkling merrily in his dark skinned face. Tilting his head slightly, he looked over at her curiously, having caught onto the fact that Sucreana had just distracted Serenity far too easy. Probably easier than it should have been. But that didn't keep him from wanting to know what Serenity had started to say. He had an inkling that Sucreana really didn't want him to know, however, and he deliberated for a long moment on whether he would ask for the rest of the sentence or not. Deciding not to, he smiled slightly, the action tugging at his scar slightly. "I'd like that...coming over for dinner, that is," he said simply, looking down into his stew for a moment before adding, "Don't get a whole lot of company around here, afterall. Usually just you two." He chuckled at Serenity's very one-track mind. It was amusing to the mechanic, who sat at the table tapping his fingers against the raised edge of the join of his own automail.
