He laughed loudly while he poked her repeatedly in an annoying way that would make her want to strangle him. "NamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNami!!" He shouted over and over again, a grin all the way spread across his face. She knew he did this to the silent Uchiha, who would voilently grab the hand that was poking him, then twist it sharply and walk away. How he was able to keep in all the anger this built up, she didn't know, because right now she wouldn't have cared if she got in trouble for beating him until he was near dead. She'd keep him alive of course, but just barely. This guy was the kind who would annoy anyone to death, even Tobi would get annoyed a little bit by this kid.
Ryota inhaled deeply and quickly, then repeated her name again, poking constantly. "Ryota, I swear if you don't stop that I'm going to break every single finger plus your wrists," Nami threatened as best as she could over the loud noises he was making.

Ryota continued his poking and yelling until she finished her threat, and then he only stopped he yelling. "I don't think you would" he said in an almost daring voice before picking up the chant again. "NamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNami!!" He knew he was annoying as hell but it was one of his many talents. Or so he told himself. He quickened his poking speed and raised his other hand to tug on her hair again, knowing that anyone would be close to caving, unless they were brain dead. He had the ability to piss of anyone if he tried hard enough, but forcing a reaction out of someone was much harder as he knew from experiance.

"You would place a wager that I wouldn't break all of you're fingers and your wrist?" Nami could swear she would, right now, if he said he'd bet she wouldn't. "I swear I will break your arms as well as your legs, care to bet I wouldn't?" She'd break his jaw as well, just to keep him from talking too much for a little while. And if she broke his arms and legs he couldn't poke her. He went back to repeating her name, poking her and tugging her hair in unision.

Ryota smirked. "Yeah, I bet you don't have the guts to break them. I bet twenty bucks that I'm gonna borrow from Kakuzu that you wouldn't break any of my bones" he said most of this in a mocking way, trying to provoke her as much as he could. He knew he would end up completely broken if he succeeded in pissing her off enough but as he picked up saying her name again he wondered why he bothered anyways if he was just going to go through alot of pain and a few months recovering. Shrugging it off he continued his pokeing and tugging and yelling, trying his best not to laugh and interrupt his repetetive "NamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNamiNami".

Before Nami completly lost it and would beat the living daylights out of Ryota, she quickly thought back to the worst punishment she'd recieved from beating him up. She had broken Ryota's nose, his arm, and his jaw, and for that she'd been forced to stay away from her puppets until Ryota recovered. This time, she just knew the punishment would be more severe, because she would be inflicting more damage to him than the last time. He was pretty used to getting hurt by her though, and she didn't know why he didn't learn from all the beatings not to bother her. But he was probably used to them now.
"You asked for it, idiot. I'll see you later when you regain conciousness," she pulled her fist back, lashing out quickly at his face. There was a sickening crack, but thankfully he had stopped. She lashed out again, aiming for his jaw, as promised. Now maybe it'd be quieter around here. After breaking one of his arms, and one of his legs, she figured he was probably passed out. He was pretty still on the ground, so with a final kick to the ribs, which was hard enough to break one or two. She had pretty much taken all her anger out on him again, and felt pretty satisfied. Now she'd try to get as much work done before she got in trouble.

Ryota was expecting her attacks so he had relaxed his body so it wouldn't hurt as much. He had learned from experiance not to tense or it would just hurt more, even though it was an automatic response, like flinching. Exactly like flinching. "See ya!" he said brightly before he was punched in the face. The pain was immense as she broke his jaw and continued onto his arm and leg. He had blacked out after she broke his leg so now he lay on the ground, broken and bleeding.

He wasn't sure how long he was out for but when he came-to he was hit by a wave of pain. He groaned quietly and opened his eyes. He was still in the hallway, and in a very akward position. He started yelling curses as best as he could with a broken jaw so it was mostly slurred until it was impossible to tell what he was yelling. Hearing hurried footsteps he saw an orange mask poke around the corner and he groan. Great, Just who he needed at the moment. Tobi ran over, yelling to him but the blonde ignored the man's words. "Go get my dad, fucker" he slurred loudly. Tobi ran off at that and Ryota waited impatiently for Deidara to come and help him. He knew that everyone in the base had probably heard his outburst when he awoke but none of them except Nami would know what he was yelling about, especially because he was lying where he had fallen, pretty much right outside her door.

Nami had gotten more than enough time to work on the few puppets that she had intended, so she adjusted a few more. While she was working, she remembered Ryota outside of her door, quietly unconicous, much to her satisfaction. It only took four hours for her to hear his barley audible groan, and for that, she smirked, glad that she had went with beating him up. But hey, he had it coming and he knew it. She could here someone coming down the hall, probably because they heard Ryota's messy swearing. Next she heard Tobi, the one who would come in second for being annoying, She could hear Ryota ordering Tobi to get his father, and heard Tobi's foot steps fade. Nami would bet that just about everyone in the base heard Ryota's yelling and was probably awake now.
Nami sighed, knowing now that her time with her puppets was gone, but at least she had gotten her work done. She picked up her supplies slowly, putting it away in order within her room, setting the fixed up puppets on one shelf, then locked it, and set the ones she had added things to in another, deciding they were going to need finishing later. She had just hidden the key when she heard a knock on her door. It was either Ryota trying to get in or something, or it was on of the Akatsuki, most likely her father or Ryota's father, coming to tell her to go to Pein and recieve punishment and what not. She walked over, opening the door a crack, enough to see out of it, peering at the figure outside of her door. She could hear Ryota's moaning still, which meant he was still on the ground, or by the door. She opened the door more, preparing herself for whatever was next.

Ryota was getting impatient for Tobi to return with Deidara but when he finally heard footsteps his dad looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What did you do this time?" he asked, noting all of the taller blonde's body parts that looked like they shouldn't be at those angles. Ryota groaned and lifted his non broken arm to point at Nami's door.
"I pissed her off" he slurred. It hurt his jaw even to do that and he winced slightly as he spoke.
"Figuers. I already spoke to Pein when Tobi came to get me and he wants to see Nami for her punishment" Deidara turned to her door and knocked on it, waiting for her to answer. When she did he pointed in the general direction of Pein's room. "Leader-sama want to speak to you about your punishment" he said, turning back to Ryota. He grabbed his son's un-broken arm and put it over his soulder, putting his arm around the taller blonde's waist to support most of his weight. Ryota started up a stream of inaudible curses as his dad agrivated his broken limbs and ribs.

She set her bag on the floor of her room before heading over to Leader-sama's room. Who knew what her punishment would be this time, especially since this was probably the most damage she'd ever done to Ryota. She'd soon find out if it had actually been worth it, and chances are, it was. Completly worth it. She walked through the halls, occasionally hearing a loud groan from Ryota back down some halls. Eventually, she arrived at his door, knocking with little force. As she was called in, she saw her dad approaching her, the same expressionless look on his face as always. Nami wasn't surprised to see him enter the room with her.


Pein stood in the far corner of his dark office, granting premission to enter. Nami and her father, Sasori walked in, he nodded to greet them. "Ryota and Deidara will join us soon." He informed them as they stood there, shuting the door behind them.

Ryota kept swearing on the entire trip to Pein's office. Deidara supported almost all of his weight and it was very akward concidering the height difference. Deidara didn't bother to knock and Ryota couldn't as his good arm was around his dad's neck. The taller blonde was pretty much dragged in and Deidara sighed as he shifted into a more comfortable position so he didn't drop Ryota. Trying his best not to look at Nami, Ryota's gaze flicked over the room, even though he had been in there many times before, mostly from getting in trouble. He had stopped his swearing so he was silent now, as was his father.

Nami didn't even bother turning around to know the it was Ryota and Deidara entering, because not only could she have heard the curses from outside the door, but they were expected as well. This must have been about the fourth time this month that both of them had had to visit Pein's office together, which was actually very minor compared to how they used to wind up in here. When they were younger and had a little less control, they'd wind up in here eight or nine times a month, with at least three fights per week. Nami could tell that everyone felt the tension on the room, and calling it heavy would be a slight understatement. Pein cleared his throat, breaking the silence between them all. All eyes turned to face him, waiting for him to speak up. "Nami, this would be the fourth time this week you've beaten Ryota up." Nami barley managed to surpress a sigh because Pein was dragging this on by pointing out the obvious. "And this seems to be the most severe of the attacks." Again, obvious. It's not that she didn't disrespect him, it's just, she knew this already and was anxious to get this over with so she could get her punishment over sooner.
"Yes, and as usual, it was his fault," Nami pointed out, keeping the bored tone out of her voice.

Ryota tried not to laugh at the familiarity of the situation. And, as always, it was him who had caused the problem in the first place. He knew they didn't get in trouble as much as they used to but they got in trouble for worse things now. His gaze flicked to Pein when he cleared his throat. When he spoke the blonde could have slapped himself. How pathetic did that sound!? He never defended himself when Nami took out her anger on him for reasons unknown, but just sat there and took it -not silently- and waited until she was done. It was all his fault anyways so he deserved it. "It wasn't all my fault!" he attempted to protest but it came out as a slur of noise. Just noise. He sighed at his incoherency and didn't even try to speak after that. He waited like everyone else in the room until Pein finally got onto Nami's punishment.
"You will be Ryota's personal maid until he is fully healed" he started. Ryota choked back a laugh at this and it just sounded like he was coughing. "If you injure him any further before he is healed you will have to serve him longer". Ryota was liking her punishment, and he knew she wouldn't. Alot more opportunities to bug her this way, and he got a personal maid. The blonde finally had some luck.

Nami would have hit Ryota when she heard him laugh at the ridiculous punishment given to her by Pein. No way was he going to let her go through this easily. In fact, he'd probaly just make it harder for her to not injure him further. She wondered how their dads were taking this, whether they found it comical (more of Deidara would find this funny) or if they found it rather in a way it was bring them down. Such as soiling the name and reverence. (Prehaps her dad thought this? Maybe not.)
"....Very well..." Nami said through gritted teeth. It seemed to take all her will power not to smack Ryota as she headed for the door. She halted before she turned the knob. "And I start this, when?" She kept her back turned to them. Maybe not looking at them would help her hold back her urge to hurt Ryota.
"You may start as soon as we get him all settled for recovery." Pein was really going to make her go through this. From the very start....to the very end...where ever the end was....

Ryota laughed quietly at her response but it hurt his ribs so he stopped himself, settling with a grin. He looked sideways at his dad who's mouth had been twitching into a smile, finding this utterly hilarious but trying not to show it. The taller blonde shifted his weight onto his broken leg, not realizing it, and yelled out in pain as he sagged sideways and Deidara pulled him back up so he could re-settle his weight. He straightened up as if that hadn't just happened, but he couldn't help but laugh slightly at his own stupidity. He waited for Nami to leave so that he could get fixed up, as he was in alot of pain from his various broken bones.

This was entirely......degrading. Of all types of punishment to take, it just had to be this. A maid? Really, how was Nami supposed to not hurt Ryota? Obviously, he was going to make the most of this, by taunting her just to hit him more so she'd have to work longer. Okay, so bones like arms and legs take about......several months to heal.....what about a broken jaw and nose? Probably not too bad, and ribs? Maybe about as long as a leg and an arm. So, this job was basically going to take forever to complete.... So, was it worth it? In general, yes, so long as he didn't make this job any harder than nessecary, or make it anymore degrading as it already is, it would have been worth it.

Ryota was already coming up with ideas on how to make this punishment more interesting for him. There were so many ways, but also so much time. Deidara helped Ryota out the door slowly, helping him down the hallway. He knew from experiance that broken bones weren't fun, but he was starting to get used to it. His broken bones were swelling slightly and he knew he probably looked pretty disfigured at the moment. He estimated the time it would take to heal fully but he knew he could drag it out if he got up and walked around before he was supposed to, or just doing stupid things. And tripping. That always prolonged the healing process. Ryota winced as his dad helped him into his room and onto the bed, jarring his broken limbs slightly. "Fuck that hurts" he attempted to mutter.

Nami approached the door of Ryota's room, where he was supposed to be healing. She stepped over as Zetsu pushed past her, his darker side muttering something about "annoying brat always getting hurt" and whatever else refered to Ryota getting beaten up by Nami. She could hear Ryota's slurred curses, which sounded weirder than usual, probably because she had broken his jaw. By the way his words were coming out, she did a pretty good job on it too. She stayed in the entrance of the room, watching as Deidara stood over his son, Zetsu fixed up his wounds, and Tobi hopped and yelled around. So far, they'd only managed to set Ryota's leg, and were working on his arm. They'd deffinetly have a tougher time fixing up his nose and jaw. The sooner his broken limbs healed, the sooner he'd be able to go back to annoying her, but also, the soonder they healed, the sooner she'd be free from being his personal "maid". She scowled slightly as she thought of being a maid, and even worse, his personal maid.

Ryota didn't notice Nami standing in the doorway as he was busy swearing. When his leg was set he began kicking at Tobi with his good one. "OUTTA MY ROOM TOBI!!!!! GETOUTTT!!!!!!" with his long legs he managed to connect his foot with the man's stomach to send him falling. Of course, Tobi got up and completely ignored him, staying in the room. His arm was now set and he had to stop talking now. This was the hardest part for him, was shutting up. He looked around the room and noticed Nami standing there finally. He listed his un-broken arm and waved at her, trying to leave his face relaxed so he wouldn't mess anything up.

Finally. the noisy blonde noticed her. She nodded to aknowledge his wave, and walked padded over quietly. She didn't even want to be in here, because not only was it far too loud for her liking, but it was Ryota's room. She stood to the side as she watched Zetsu fix up his ribs, Ryota was visibly trying not to struggle and mess up his wounds. Tobi's yelling and hopping around was really getting on Nami's nerves, and while she was being forced to be Ryota's maid, she was going to try and not get mad so easily. She stalked up to Tobi, wrapping a fist around the collar of his cloak, even if he was a good couple feet taller, she pulled him down to level with her.
"Tobi, get out now, or so help me you'll wind up like your Senpai's kid," she hissed only loud enough for him to hear. She let go of him and watched with satisfaction as he left the room, clearly everyone in the room seemed to be a little less tense with Tobi gone.

Ryota watched Nami as she walked in, then switched his gaze to Tobi, who was really pissing him off now. Even if he was crippled he could still blow up the happy-go-lucky idiot easily. He leaned his head back boredly while Zetzu fixed his ribs, holding in the sigh that would screw everything up. He moved his head and looked at Nami again, raising and eyebrow seeing her pulling Tobi down to her level. As the man ran out of the room, he seriously wondered what she had said to him. He was thankful that the hyper moron had left, and he couldn't stop the smile as it flashed onto his face, causing him to wince from the pain in his jaw.

Nami leaned back against the wall, waiting for Zetsu to finish bandaging Ryota's wounds up. Deidara's dad stood by his son's side as well, he was probably used to this, his kid getting beaten up by his Danna's kid. Zetsu soon finished with fixing Ryota's ribs, and it was clear that Ryota was a bit happier now that most of his wounds were bound now. All he needed now was his nose and his jaw fixed, pretty much. There might be a bit of a struggle with those ones though....ah well, to see him squirm with pain was good enough for Nami.

Ryota sighed when Zetsu finished with his ribs. Now came the interesting part. He had to try to stay still and not start laughing at nothing like he normally would. As was expected, he burst out laughing, despite the pain, and the non-humorous situation. He was getting fixed after breaking six bones. It wasn't funny. But he couldn't help himself as he clutched his broken ribs as they hurt as well as his jaw. He took deep breats and calmed down completely, even getting a straight face as he waited with his eyes closed, so nothing caught his attention and caused him to laugh again. He busied his mind with a song so he couldn't think of anything else. His face looked concentrated as he tried to relax so he could be fixed.

Nami sighed as the idiot started laughing for no apparent reason. She would have gone up to him and hit him, if she were allowed. Of all the inapropriate times to laugh, this would be one of them. When he stopped laughing and calmed himself down, he almost seemed bareable to be close to. Zetsu made quick work of patching up his nose and jaw, Nami could hear him mummbling again, his white side was reasoning something with his other side. Half the time he talked, it was like he was schizoprenic. Deidara stood by Ryota, chatting quietly. Nami stayed by the wall, waiting to be ordered around or whatever Ryota wanted her to do.

Ryota was glad when Zetsu was done and he stretched, wincing at the pain in his arm, leg, and ribs. "Well I'm bored" he stated, attempting to sit up. Having no success he propped himself up on his elbow and looked around his room, trying to think of something to do. Seeing Nami leaning against the wall he tried to hide his grin. "Naaaaammmmmmiiiiiiiiii!!!!????" he dragged the name out to make it sound more obnoxious. He tried to think of something quickly when he realized he didn't really need anything. After a second thought he realized that he was hungry after lying on the ground for four hours. "Can you make me something to eat?" he asked, looking at her expectantly. He didn't really care what it was as long as it was edible.

Nami gritted her teeth to keep from breaking another of his bones as she heard his obnoxious call, "Naaaaammmmmmiiiiiiiiii!!!!????" She looked over at him, trying to hide her glare as best as she could, clenching and unclenching her fists to help prevent from hitting him. " Can you make me something to eat?" Nami nodded, avoiding his eyes so she didn't flare up in anger again. She headed for the door, thinking of what to give him. She could always give him something hard to eat, just to hurt his jaw, or if she gave him something easier, than maybe he'd heal better.

She looked in their cheap, dingy little fridge for something to eat. There wasn't really much, thanks to Kakuzu, who hadn't wanted to spend money feeding the rest of the base. All she could find was a bunch of stuff to make a sandwich, and Hidan's left over cake. Not really caring, she threw together a sandwich with meat that wasn't all that old, pickles that weren't too bad looking, and some other type of thing that she wasn't sure what it was, but didn't look half bad. She snatched the fresh looking cake, tossing the "Hidan claims this and will sacrifice you to Jashin-sama if you eat it" tag, crumpling it up in her hand. She walked back over to Ryota's room, seeing his dad had left, and Ryota was sitting there, looking as she had left him. She walked over to him, handing out the food.
