Ryota laughed and shook his head. Really, for a smart person she could be pretty dense sometimes. Well, at least he thought so, and it was just about explosives, so that didn't really count. He had caught te hesitance in her voice and he raised an eyebrow. When she stuttered at the beggining of her next sentence which turned out to be her appologizing he laughed again. "Why are you appologizing? Really, it's no big deal. . . I was just making fun of them 'cause they're horrible that their jobs" he said with a grin. It was pretty funny seeing Nami like that, and he had to say that it was pretty adorable. . . anyone would say that. Well, probably not, but that's what he told himself.

[Nyako-Chan]

Nami just kept her eyes downcast, not being able to help the overwhelming feeling of being shy. She didn't know why she should be feeling this, all he was doing was explaining that it wasn't a big deal for apoligizing. "Oh, well, um...." She didn't know how to continue, he said he was making fun of their jobs and them being so terrible at it. She fumbled around for what to say next. She was stumped, and this was rare for her. It confused her to the maximum point.

Ryota could tell that she was having trouble thinking what to say and he turned his head to hide the smirk. Really, she was pretty adorably like that. Not that Nami was really that talkative most of the time unless she was arguing with him, but he hadn't seen her at a loss for words very often. "So. . . uhh. . . " he tried to change the subject, but couldn't really think of anything to say either. "Heh, I wonder how much of a fight the idiots who broke in here put up after we left" he said with a grin, finally finding something to say.

She looked at him curiously, brushing hair away from her eyes. "A lot, maybe? Neither Itachi nor Kisame seemed too injured, but looking around the part where they fought would have to explain the story." She thought about how the battle field had looked, seeing chunks missing out of the walls and floor, and seeing some blood, probably theirs, actually, and just the area gave off the atmosphere of a struggle. "They shouldn't have tried in the first place, or they wouldn't have lost their lives."

Ryota laughed, the signs of a struggle had passed right by him, as he was too busy looking for his dad, and grabbing his sword. "They really were stupid. . . seriously people should know that once the Akatsuki has something or someone, there's no getting it or them back. . . even if they don't know what the Akatsuki is, to find their way here they have to have at least some sort of idea of who we are, and what they're dealing with" he said with a laugh. Other people's stupidity was kind of pathetic sometimes, but what he was more concerned about was that it was the most exciting thing that had happened there in awhile, and he had missed it, all because of Sasori.

Nami did not respond to his comment on people never being able to get anything or anyone back, once they were captured by the Akatsuki. Even if they didn't know them. SHe didn't really have anything to say to that, so she said nothing, just kind of looking from Ryota to the tv briefly, wondeirng trying to debate what was more interesting. She finally gave up and decided that Ryota was louder than the tv, and he seemed to be less fake than the lousy explosions on the screen, SHe wasn't sure what she meant by that, but oh well. She just waited for him to go on about something she didn't care about again.

Ryota attempted to watch the TV for a bit more, but it was too boring, even after half a minute, so he sighed in exasperation. "There's nothing to doooo" he complained. He looked at the ceiling for a moment, then in the direction of his room, and then to Nami. "Can you grab me my sketchbook and pencil?" he asked her. It would give him something to do, which was a good thing, and it would keep him from hurting himself for the time being.

She nodded and walked to his room for the sketch book, having to search for a bit because she didn't remember where he put it. WHen she found it, she brought it over to him, handing the pencil first, then the sketch book. She sat there after, not knowing what to do while he sketched. Really, what could she do? THere wasn't much for her to actually work on, so she was left as bored as Ryota.

Ryota watched the movie or whatever the hell it was on the TV until Nami came back with his sketch book and pencil, and he took it from her with a smile. "Thanks" he flipped the book open to one of the few blank pages left, before glancing up at Nami, who seemed to be bored, with nothing to do. He smirked and held out the pencil and book to her. "I wanna see you draw something" he said, grinning. He wanted to see what she would draw, and how well, seeing as he'd only seen her art in the form of puppets.

Nami was slightly startled with Ryota asking her to draw something, and she wasn't sure what to really say. She didn't think she could say no, because then he'd issue the order as her being his maid, so then she couldn't refuse. She took the sketch book and pencil, thinking of what she should draw. He wouldn't be interested in the design of her puppets, so she couldn't really draw that. She could possibly draw him, if she could catch him being still for just a second. She might as well draw that, see if she could improvise from there. She glanced at him, then captured the image in her memory, quickly drawing it out so it wouldn't go away. After she drew a brief image of Ryota, she added some detail, shading, etc. When she was done, she shyly presented the picture to him, waiting for his answer.

Ryota grinned as she took his drawing materials and hesitated, and he figured that she was thinking of something to draw. He waited as she sketched quickly, and he twiddled his thumbs, waiting for her to finish. He glanced around the room, trying to keep his mind occupied, hearing nothing but the scratching sound of a pencil on paper. When the noise stopped he looked at Nami, and at the drawing she had drawn of him. He wasn't surprised to see how good it was, seeing as she was an artist as well, even if she had the wrong theory of art. "Nice. . . that's really good. . . you're almost as good as me" he said with a grin, taking in the details and shading. He was a bit surprised that she had chosen to draw him, but he didn't say anything of it, knowing that she had done it not having anything else to draw.

She was already blushing when he took it, the blush going deeper as he complemented it. She had never taken into consideration what compliments meant, and with her emotions being extra sensitive at the moment, she could finally feel them. "Th-thanks," she mumbled, trying to make the flush in her cheeks go away by tryign to calm down. It wasn't working very well, because she'd never had to deal with the emotion before. She didn't really enjoy it, and the sooner she could control them, the better.

When Ryota glanced up at Nami, hearing her mumbled response, he couldn't help but grin. Blushing was something Nami didn't do. Ever. He had probably seen her blush once in her life, before she had turned herself into a half puppet, and only when she was mortified with embarassment. "What are you blushing for?" he asked, forcing his laughter back once again. He didn't know why she was blushing anyways, all he had done was compliment her. It wasn't really a big deal. Well, to him it wasn't.

"I, uh, I-I don't know," she stammered, looking away, "it's probably no-nothing." Ryota had only complimented her, it was nothing to get worked up over. But then again, it could be just the fact that she never did take into consideration of compliments and that she didn't often recieve them from people. Could be both. Probably was both.

Ryota raised an eyebrow at her answer. Apparently it was nothing. People don't blush for no reason. Well, normal people didn't, he couldn't be sure about half puppets, especially since Nami's emotions were fucked up. "Nothing?" he asked with a slight smirk. "That's a shitload of nothing. Why are you blushing?" he asked again, grinning widely. He really had no idea, but it was pretty damn funny to him.

[Nyako-Chan]

"I don't know!" she exclaimed, squeezing her eyes shut from the confusion and the pressure that felt creeping up. Who knew when pressed for answered that one would feel like this? Well, people would, since they used all of their emotions all the time, but she didn't because she rarely had used hers in the begining. "I don't know why!" she repeated, shaking her head as if it would help make the blushing go away.

Ryota surpressed his laughter even more, but started coughing madly while trying to keep it back. He stopped after a moment and composed himself. "Okay then" he said with a grin. Really, he had no idea what else to say to that. There was nothing for him TO say to that. She seemed pretty frustrated with her emotions being messed up, and it was pretty funny, even as un-funny as it should be. "So you're blushing for no reason, becuase I complimented you?" he guessed, raising an eyebrow. He was pretty sure that was where it started.

Nami thought about it, seeing if there were any second meanings in that sentence that he could make fun of her for. SHe nodded her head slowly, although she did see a slight flaw in his statement. She could not blushing for no reason but because she had recieved a compliment from him. That was what had gone wrong with that sentence. "Yes, I suppose so," she agreed, running it through her head once more to see if there were any loop holes in what he was saying. Anything at all that would turn against her.

Ryota grinned widely and laughed when Nami answered. "So. . . you're blushing becuase I complmented you, which means you like it when I compliment you. . . which means you like me?" he suggested. He knew it was far from true, but he couldn't help but mess with her. His logic didn't even make sense with that, but he didn't care. He grinned evilly as he waited for her reaction to that. He could probably find something to turn against anyone, no matter what.

"Wha-! I, um, no! I don't!" she exclaimed, startled by his conclusion of her answer. She was so flustered right now, she wasn't exactly sure how to handle the situation at hand, and she always knew how to handle situations. But only on missions, when something unexpected came up. "But, it's not that I don't like you as a friend!" she tried amending, unsure if he' d take it that she didn't like him at all. But then, why would he? Nothing ever bothered him. He would always laugh something off. "That is, um..wah!" she frustratedly whimpered, flsutered beyond belief.

Ryota burst out laughing, unable to control it anymore. He started sliding sideways off of the couch, but he grabbed the back of the couch for support, hooking his broken arm over it. He closed his mouth to hold back the laughter, and wasn't surprised when the hiccupps started. "I was just kidding, calm down" he said with a grin, hiccupping loudly. He held his breath, trying to get rid of the pain that came with hiccupps, but they never stopped that easily.

She nodded, the burning in her cheeks barely beginging to recede. "Uh, um, o-okay," she said, not particularly liking how she had played right into that. Normally she wouldn't even care to answer him with those kinds of things, and she had no idea what possesed her to become so careless and walk right into it like she was blind. Emotions were probably the cause of the sudden blindness for those traps. Stupid emotions.

Ryota laughed again, shaking his head. He didn't expect Nami to have walked right into that, even if her emotions were messed up, but she had. "I think whatever that moron hit you with completely addled your brains" he said with a smirk. He flipped the page in his sketchbook and thought for a moment, thinking of what to draw next. With a grin he settled on an idea, and began to draw Nami looking all embarassed and adorable, grinning the whole time.

"Um, yes, sort of. In a way of speaking, you're almost correct," she said, finally calming down a bit since his teasing had sort of stopped. "The attack was electric, so it addled my system. My nerves became confused and reverted back to their original state, so the jutsu for creating half human and half puppet body system short circuted. I can fix it when my wound has healed." She saw him drawing, smiling in a way he knew she wouldn't like. He was up to something, again.

Ryota raised an eyebrow. Almost correct? Well thats a new one. He continued to draw as she explained, and his expression steadily became more and more confused through her short explination. "Okay, I have no idea what you just said. . . let's just leave it as 'you're head's fucked up' okay?" he said, glancing up from his drawing. He was drawing by memory now, since the embarassment seemed to be leaving her, but it wasn't turning out badly.
