Both Isabelle and Clary dashed out of their rooms having heard the commotion in the halls. Isabelle did a double take when she found her brother unconscious on the floor with Magnus on top. She had done the double take due to both reasons. Clary looked confused and worried and stupid all at once. Isabelle practically dropped her phone as she shoved it in her pocket and dove to the ground to check her brother.

"What happened?" she demanded, dreading the truth, and perhaps already guessing it. "Mind control?" She was the only one left to get that now. She had been waiting for one of them to lose it first, but she honestly hadn't thought Alec would have gone first.

Clary looked down at Alec, fretting why this was happening. Then she heard shouting and cursing from the other room. Jace was awake, she assumed. She ran for the kitchen to untie him.

Magnus looked up at Isabelle and Clary for a moment as they both rushed out, before returning his gaze to Alec. He had no problem with any of them seeing him like this, seeing as none of them would find it strange to see him holding someone down like this, weather they knew about him and Alec or not. "Yes. He came at me with his stele" was his short answer to Isabelle's question. His words were coated in venom, not bothering to hide his anger. He ignored the cursing and Clary rushing off. "Valentine is going to pay once I get my hands on his fucking sorry ass" he hissed. He normally kept his bad language to a minimum. He seldome used it unless he was pissed.

Isabelle wondered how much damage an angry warlock could actually do to the clever masterminded Valentine. She didn't think he could do much since it took a majority of the Clave to bring him down before. She didn't mean to underestimate the bond her brother and his boyfriend shared, but she really doubted Magnus could take down Valentine easily. "He's just unconscious then, right?" she checked, taking the stele from her brother's hand and pocketing it for later when he proved stable.

Magnus fumed silently, taking a few deep breaths. He needed to calm down, that was for sure. "Of course he's just unconcious. What else do you think I would do to him?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. There was no way he'd be able to hurt Alec more than was completely necessary. "He'll be fine once he wakes up, most likely" he reached down and pushed some of his boyfriend's hair out of his still face. He used his thumb to push on one of his eyelids, looking at the bright blue eye for a moment before letting it drop, wondering how long it would be before he awoke.

Alec stirred lightly when he felt someone touching his face, or more specifically, his eye. Other than that, the first thing he was aware of was a pounding headache. What had happened again? He opened his eyes and had to let his vision come in to focus to see Magnus above him and Isabelle. They looked concerned for him. "Wha's going on?" he asked, noting the way Magnus was sitting on him. Isabelle wasn't saying anything, so he wasn't too embarrassed about it. Besides, Magnus probably had a reason for this.

"Alec's awake?" he heard from over Magnus' shoulder, only to see Clary leading a weary, confused Jace over to the group.

Magnus had to see the bright side of Alec being controlled. Now he had a new test subject, and didn't have to root through Clary's unappealing mind. Now he could spend all day with Alec, without any questions. He smiled when Alec's eyes opened, and he looked confusing. "Well, you tried to make me into swiss cheese. With your stele" he explained dryly, tossing his hair back. He wasn't planning on getting off yet, just in case. He wanted to make sure that this was 100% Alec first. "How are you feeling?" a completely innocent question, but he actually meant it now, instead of just saying it to somebody to seem polite. He didn't even bother to glance over his shoulder when he heard voices. "Yes, he is, but I'm not sure he's Alec. Are you Alec, Alec?" he said, ending in a question to his boyfriend.

"What?" Alec blinked. Swiss cheese? That was that hole-y cheese, wasn't it? And he tried to use his stele? As in, he tried to stab him? He felt like he had a concussion right now, as he couldn't seem to recall the moments Magnus was telling him about. "I'm Alec," he said, though even if he wasn't he didn't know how he'd know. He knew how he could be more convincing, but he wasn't going to try if everyone was gathered around them. At least no one was commenting about Magnus sitting on top of him.

Magnus opened his mouth to explain his cheese analogy when Alec seemed to get it, so he closed his mouth. He scrutinized the teen below him, not sure he believed the answer. Although he did appear to be back to the normal oblivious Shadowhunter. "Are you su~re you're Alec? I mean anybody could just say 'Yeah I'm Alec nice to meet you', but only you can be you. Tell me one thing that nobody mind controlling you would know" he said, shifting his hips slightly to get more comfortable. He had no idea what Alec would come up with, but he was sure he would either find something or start blushing madly, both of which would prove the point.

Something only Alec would know about? It would have to be about Magnus probably because anything known about the Lightwoods was commonly known with the rest of the Clave, basically. Something maybe Valentine knew already. What Valentine wouldn't know was anything about Magnus Bane. Anything personal, anyway. Which was basically the only things he had to prove he was Alec. And all of those things were things he'd rather the others weren't around to hear, He had to think of something that wasn't that bad to say. He could think of several that brought the blood rushing to his face, but then the others would know about them. He needed something personal, yet if it was all that personal the others would know something. "Uh....give me something to answer, something only I would know?" he asked, since he couldn't (or didn't want to) come up with his own statement that only Alexander Lightwood would know.

Magnus crossed his arms as he waited, wondering what Alec could come up with. There were a few things he could think of that only Alec would know, but they were kept between him and the warlock. A grin spread across his face at the blush. "No, it's alright, I believe you" he said, laughing and getting up from his position straddling the teen. He held out his hand to help him up from lying on the floor. "If you were being mind conrtolled, you wouldn't blush" he said, snickering slightly.

Alec took the hand offered to him. He didn't know mind controlled people couldn't blush. Or didn't. "Thanks, I think," he said, looking around at the people. They said nothing nor did they look like they were about to jest about the way Magnus had been sitting on him. "Uh...so, I went crazy?"

Isabelle nodded, wondering when she'd be next. "Magnus stopped you though before you did any damage." This time nothing broke too. Nothing was stained and there was nothing to pick up. It was a miracle! "Anyone else notice how Jace woke up about the time Alec was knocked out?"

Magnus relished in the touch while he helped Alec up before it was gone. That was pretty much the only contact he could get in while around the others. As supportive as he tried to be about that most of the time, that irked him. Alec was so secretive about it. "Yes. And I'll have you know I don't appreciate people trying to gouge holes in my magnificent self" he said, tossing his loose hair back. "Hmm, that's a good observation. I wasn't sure if anybody would actually notice that" he nodded at Isabelle's question. Of course he had noticed it. He had 800 years to have practiced being observant. "It's rather strange though. I really need to work on this whole thing" he gave a dramatic sigh.

" 'm sorry," Alec said shyly, clearing his throat quickly to sound more aggressive with it, more in control. He didn't think it really worked, because he could see Isabelle raising an eye brow. "What are you gonna do now though?" he asked, since Magnus said he had to work on this. Was he going to work on Clary now? "Isabelle's the only one who hasn't gone nuts yet."

"She'll probably be in the kitchen with a knife, or a spatula, or worse, a spoon, in her hand, when she goes ballistic," Jace scoffed. Though he looked tired, he had enough energy usually always to joke.

Isabelle sniffed and glared at him.

Magnus hid his grin at the appology. "You should be. You could have ruined me!" he said in mock horror. "And then what would I be? Magnus Bane, formerly the High Warlock of Brooklyn" he saighed, shaking his head, before looking back up. "Hmm, well since Clary's mind is too boring, and I don't fancy going anywhere near Jace if I can help it" he made a face, shooting a look at the blonde Shadowhunter, "Then do you mind lending me your head for a while?" he asked, tilting his own head to the side. Innocent enough reasons to get Alec to himself all afternoon. "Hmm, hopefully I can stop this before Isabelle kills us all with kitchen utensils. Or her cooking" he muttered the last part under his breath, looking away.

Isabelle huffed angrily, hearing Magnus' last mutter. She stalked off, insulted for the cooking she worked so hard at but was never appreciated for. She was not a bad cook and she was not dangerous....with kitchen utensils. Alec was so going to get it when he got his head examined. See what they really did instead of examining his brain. She'd video tape it and put it up on the Mundie computer system or something.

"Uh, yeah, that's fine," he said. "Where are you doing this?" The Institute would be....odd, for him, and his apartment would be suspicious, possibly.

Magnus snickered slightly when Isabelle left, looking angry. He couldn't help but wonder what she planned on doing in some sort of revenge. He looked back to Alec, as his eyes were so accustomed to doing, when he spoke. "Hn, I don't know. Anywhere you want I guess" he shrugged. He would love to just drag him back to his appartment, but that might seem a bit strange, so maybe the Institute? He would be perfectly fine with flaunting the fact that he was spending time with Alec, even if they didn't know that the two were together.

Because he didn't want to carry on the topic of where they wanted to do this, as it sounded awkward and kind of hinting their relationship, he had to pick something fast. If he said 'at your house' it'd be weird, maybe, and if he said 'just in the Institute,' well, he kind of doubted Magnus would be working completely diligently. "Uhh..." think quick "my....room?" And that just sounded worse than him saying 'let's go to your place.'

Magnus waited for the answer. He could tell that Alec was going to try to pick the most innocent sounding place. He held his laughter back at the answer, smirking instead. "Alright. Fine by me. Let's go" he said, motioning with his hand. He didn't exactly know where it was from where they were. To him, everything in the Institute looked the same. "Um. . . where is it?" he asked a bit hesitantly, scratching the back of his neck and grinning slightly.

They left behind the pair of staring eyes, and Alec wondered if he would have been better off just saying Magnus' place after all. With a sigh, he took the lead. "I don't seem to be very good at those, how Mundies put it, 'think fast.'" Shadowhunters had to think fast when it came to being anywhere, and they had to be prepared. Alec, having momentarily been confused and unconscious had no excuse to be so unprepared. He chided himself mentally for not having a better set mind. He led the warlock to his room, this time without incident. When they got in he shut and locked the door.

Magnus laughed and shook his head, sending his loose hair flying out for a moment. "I can tell. But don't worry, I still love you" he snickered. He knew that Alec was normally good with things like that, being a Shadowhunter. He himself was a quick thinker, normally coming up with things on the spot. He may be old, but he sure as hell wasn't old. If that made any sense. He walked into Alec's familiar room after the shorter male, walking over and dropping onto the rather uncomfortable bed immediately. "Do you want me to get you a new bed?" he asked suddenly, tilting his head to the side. The one he had was nowhere near tolerable. It was like sitting on a rock or something, compared to his own bed.

"Oh, no, that's all right," Alec said, since if he had a new bed and the others noticed how different it was from theirs, not only might someone like Isabelle or Jace try to sleep in his room for a bed that was probably better for their backs, but he might just plainly wind up trading rooms with someone. Plus, they might ask where he got it from. "So, are you going to examine my head, or...." What did Magnus have in mind?

Magnus frowned slightly at the answer. It couldn't be good for you to be doing physical activity all day, getting injured severely a lot of the time, and then coming home and sleeping on something less comfortable than the floor. "You sure? I can always probably make this one better, and nobody will no the difference" he said innocently, stretching out on the bed and lacing his hands behind his head. "Yeah. I don't know how long it'll take, so i should start soon" he sighed. The idea of poking around Alec's brain all day was much more appealing than doing the same to Clary's.

"If you like," Alec agreed finally. He didn't mind a better bed, in all honesty. The Institute was full of these rock solid bunks. "How, er, are you going to go through my head?" he asked, since he had no idea what Magnus could find in there. Again, he didn't have anything to hide from his boyfriend, so he didn't really mind him looking through about anything in his head. "How does it work, exactly? And what do you hope to find?"

Magnus smiled, thinking about itfor a moment before placing his palm against the mattress, muttering a few words. His hand glowed a faint blue colour and then he sighed, smiling. "Alright, there you go" he said, sitting up and motioning for Alec to sit as well. It was pretty comfortable now, he had to admit. "Well, I'l be doing what I did before, but I'll be going into more depth on the thing in your head, and analysing it. Seeing what it's made up of, and breaking it down, so I can figure out how to couter it and prevent it. Like a scientist would do for a disease" he explained. It would take some time and work, but he had confidence in his abilities.

((Excellent! Yeah, it took me half an hour to figure the first mission out, and then another half hour to complete the tutorial things in the Arena. Stupid Leann has to go over board in the beginning cut scene. When you get a screen name for Ps3, let me know and I'll add you))

"Okay, then that sounds all right," Alec confirmed. He'd just be sitting there, but in sitting there while Magnus worked he could look at his sexy warlock. What wasn't there to look at while Magnus worked? Ah, but then Magnus would read the thoughts he was thinking when he was going around through his head. Hmm, maybe he'd just avoid them or something. Or he'd get distracted and look at them and all that, and then they'd more or less likely wind up doing something entirely different.
