Wincing mentally from the insult thrown at them, Alec assumed it could have been a lot worse, plus, he'd been expecting some kind of comment thrown in. He suspected it would have hurt a lot more if it were another Shadowhunter calling them that, not like dating a downworlder was smiled upon anyway. Alec could have smirked from Magnus flipping off someone behind them if he wasn't so busy making out with him and enjoying it. To help with the cause and because he didn't entirely feel like holding it back, he let out a soft moan, a breathy, short call.

Magnus brought his hand back to Alec, running it through the Shadowhunter's hair. Touching Alec was more important to him than flipping some guy off. Although the latter was imprtant when it came to that as well. He felt the train slow to a stop, and some people got on, some off. A few of the new people getting on made cat-calls at them, causing the warlock. He groaned in response to the noises Alec made, pulling away from a moment to breathe his name, before going back to his mouth.

The stop that let some people off and new people on made Alec wonder briefly when they were getting off. He was confident that Magnus would know when they were getting off and wouldn't let them miss their stop just to show off to some people. He could feel how flushed he was from the attention he knew they were attracting.

Magnus was keeping track of the stops. He knew how many were between his place and the Institute by now. Their stop was the next one, which was perfectly fine with him. He moved even closer to Alec, practically straddling him now, unable to help himself. He wouldn't go too far here. That was about it. They were almost done their trip anyways, so he wouldn't get too out of control. Hopefully.

He wondered how far they could get with PDA without getting arrested for disturbance of the peace or something. With Magnus nearly on top and all over him right now, he wondered if it was a matter of time before a train conductor pulled them away from each other. Alec only did about as much as kissing him back and breathing his name or sighing. Magnus was usually all about hands on.

Magnus knew they could get in trouble for this, but being a warlock, he could easily get them back out of trouble in about three seconds flat. He was aware that many people were looking at them, but he still couldn't care less, and more or less ignored them. He could feel the train losing speed and he opened his eyes, pulling away from Alec. "This is our stop" he said quietly, moving off of him and smiling. "You know you're getting pretty brave, little Nephilim" he said, laughing slightly. He stood up and held his hand out, waiting for Alec.

The abrupt end to what they'd been so engaged in, in public no less, startled Alec a little. He looked confusedly at Magnus when the warlock got up and offered him his hand. It took only a moment to get re oriented with what they were doing, and ignore the looks they were getting, whether they were excited, or shocked, or disgusted. "Oh," Alec blinked, looking either only at Magnus or at the floor or ceiling. He took Magnus' hand and got up.

Magnus laughed at the slightly shocked and confused look on Alec's face. "Sorry, I'd rather keep going, but don't want to miss the stop" he said, kissing him on the cheek and walking towards the door. "We can continue this at home if you want" he grinned as he stepped off of the train.
"PROTECTION!" Someone yelled after them. Magnus laughed and shook his head. There was no need, he was pretty damn sure.

Not like Alec really, really wanted to keep going on a train and in public, extremely in public where people could put the events on the internet and some random Shadowhunter might find it and contact the Clave, but he was still caught off guard at having been stopped so quickly. He didn't mind doing just about anything at the warlock's home. He thought to himself almost that someday it might be their home. He was pretty sure he couldn't wait to get home if Magnus didn't plan on right away working on his head again.

Magnus was in a good mood now as he walked to the steps of the subway tunnell. It was only two blocks away from his home, which was convienient for times like this. "I can't help but wonder what Isabelle would say if she had been on that train" he said with a laugh, looking up at the sky. The sun was starting to set by now, so it was getting a bit cooler, which was nice. "That would be. . . interesting, if anything".

Alec shook his head, looking toward the setting sun. "I'm not sure interesting was the word needed in that sentence." He contemplated what word would work better. "More like chaotic." That's what Isabelle was. Chaotic. As was her cooking. "There weren't any other Shadowhunters on there, so I'm glad she wasn't. Besides, she's at home force feeding the others to eat her...uh, what was that? Soup?"

((i finished CoG last night!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! and now i was eating cookies, and a chocolate chip fell in the bottom of my glass of milk, and i cant get the chocolate out cuz my hand wont fit in the glass!! XO its HORRIBLE!!))

"Well, that's true as well. But my life seems to be chaos most of the time, I find it quite normal. Especially after I met you" Magnus laughed. He was obviously referring to the party of his that they decided to crash. Even if they had an invitation, it wasn't meant to be theirs. But he was glad they had showed up, in the long run. "Hmm, soup? I thought it was radioactive waste, but I have been wrong before" he shrugged, tossing his bangs back. They were too short to fit into the ponytail, but long enough to get in his way frequently.

For Alec it was a bit of the opposite. After the whole mix up with Clary, and her messing up everything and always being able to send Jace off the handle, Alec had the opportunity to meet Magnus, which resulted in his life turning upside down. All that had been drilled into him in his lessons had usually only said bad things about downworlders, but then Magnus had switched that idea. Alec didn't think there was anyone he loved more than Magnus.

Magnus ran a hand through his hair, pulling the peice of ribbon out of his hair and sticking it in his pocket. "Mm, so how's your ass feeling?" he asked, suddenly curious. He ran a hand down Alec's back before resting it on his Shadowhunter's ass lightly, looking down at him curiously. He had no idea how long it would hurt for. . . he was hoping not long, even if Alec wanted it as a reminder of the previous night's rambunctious events. He himself didn't exactly need a reminder. He remembered just fine.

The sudden and somewhat blunt question Magnus asked him caught him off guard. Most of the things Magnus did caught him off guard. He'd have to hope they'd never go to battle against each other. He'd probably lose, what with all the surprises Magnus pulled out of his sleeve. "I'm fine," he told him, walking with less of a limp than he'd had this morning. Most of the pain had faded sometime when they'd been working on his head.

Magnus smiled at the answer he got, nodding. "Good. I really hope you're not lying to me. Although it is hard to lie to my magnificent self. I'm glad you feel better" he said, kissing Alec on the temple while they walked. His house was just up ahead, so they only had about another minute until they were home. It was starting to get a bit chilly as the sun went down. The warlock hummed under his breath, a soft tune that often got stuck in his head.

Rarely did the Shadowhunter lie to the warlock. Not that it was that hard to lie to him, but it was more like it was hard to keep the truth from him. Magnus always found out sooner or later something in the end, and it never ended well. "I wouldn't lie to you, Magnus," Alec told him, meaning it for the most part. The only times he did lie to him where when he wanted to protect Magnus from something, or from getting either angry or hurt or both.

Magnus was satisfied with that answer. "Good, because I would be extremely displeased if you did" he said, tossing his hair to the side in a slightly dramatic movement. He knew Alec didn't lie to him often, and when he did, he could normally figure it out somehow. The Shadowhunter could be easy to read sometimes. But sometimes he managed to keep a straight face and get through it. "Mm, we're home" he said, turning to walk up the short distance to his home sweet home and pulling an electric blue sparkely key out of his pocket. He stuck it in the door and turned it, walking in and kicking off his shoes, reaching down to pet Chairman Meow.

Alec walked in after Magnus, taking his black boots, leaving him with socks that had a couple holes in them. His boots, if looked carefully at, had holes in them, and tears, and all signs of wear. Most of his clothes did, since Shadowhunters usually couldn't go out and buy whatever whenever. Except Isabelle, who made time. The pygmy cat that seemed to be more hamster than feline was always begging for attention. Not that he didn't like Alec, but he just seemed to like avoiding him more.

Magnus stepped over the purring cat to walk farther into his home, pouring the cat some food quickly before turning back to Alec and walking over to him. He wrapped his arms around the Shadowhunter's waist. "So what's on your mind Cutie?" he asked, running a hand up and down his back. "Hungry again? Want to sit down, relax, continue what we were doing on the train, continue working, what?" he listed off a few of the options he could think of off the bat. Really he didn't care what they did, as long as his Alec was there with him.

"What had you planned on doing once you got here?" Alec asked, seeing that either of the choices his boyfriend had listed off for them to do had kind of been intentioned when they got here. But he could go for whatever Magnus was up to. They had been planning to technically mess around as working on his head was boring, but necessary. The sooner they got done with this the sooner they could just leave it alone.

"Hmm, well, I didn't exactly plan on working right away. I'm too tired to do much with that right now. Need to rest my magic for a bit. So we've got time" Magnus replied, shrugging. "Mm, let's sit down" he suggested, startin to walk backwards, pulling Alec with him by the waist, careful not to trip on anything. He towed him back to the couch before sitting down, letting go briefly so that his boyfriend could sit and get comfortable as well.

Alec let Magnus guide him by the waist to the couch, sitting down beside him. If Magnus was too tired to use his magic much for searching his head, and because it was very unlike Magnus to just sit here and talk maybe, they could potentially be picking up on what they'd been doing on the train. Unless Magnus was too tired to do that too.

Magnus had his arms back around Alec once the teen sat down. He nuzzled into his neck, nipping slightly before moving his head. "I really wish you could just stay here forever, and never leave" he muttered before claiming his lips. Sure, he was tired, but it was more of a mental thing. He hadn't moved much all day, he had only used his magic to go through Alec's mind.

Alec wished for pretty much the same thing, except the fact that he wouldn't be a Shadowhunter. The only thing a Shadowhunter knew was being a Shadowhunter, therefore it was their life. Taking that away from them, being stripped of their marks or something, left them as empty shells. Alec hoped he didn't have to choose between his life and Magnus one day, because it would be a rough decision. Not that he didn't love his life more than Magnus. He loved them both, and couldn't do well without one or the other. "I love you," he replied, nuzzling to Magnus.
