running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Grabbing what she needed from her room, she stuffed her clothes in a large sack before tossing them out the window, her father had locked her in her own room until the man she was supposed to marry arrived. Like that was going to happen, glancing at the door she grabbed her swords and carefully set them outside of the window, her father forgets that she was good at sneaking out when she wanted to , she was a warrior, she could come and go just like she trained and nobody would notice. Making sure she had what she needed she carefully climbed out of the window, closing it behind her then turned and picked up her swords, being silent as she carefully placed one foot in front of the other so as not to make a sound. Once she was on the edge of the roof she crouched before jumping down easily landing on her feet. Her plan first as just to get out of the area, she will figure out later what to do after that, it would be hard to avoid her guards when they came looking for her.
Grabbing her bag she went to the horses stalls and quickly saddled up her white mare, tieing the bags on she pulled herself up into the saddle before kicking her horse into a full run out the gates. She heard shouts before smiling as she glanced back, then turned around , leaning down close to the horses neck to allow him the full speed he needed.
One of the servants came running in, nearly out of breath as he searched for the lord of the manor, finding him in his study he knocked before walking in '' My lord, lady luna is running, we couldn't stop her.''
he glanced up from watching out the window, a slight smile on his lips'' let her.. one thing i didn't tell her was that the man she is to marry was also a great tracker. '' he figured his daughter would run, she was so head strong and stubborn as an ox. glancing back out the window he shook his head. The man would not be happy but then again, he may enjoy the chase he did after all enjoy all sorts of hunts.
Luna had been gone for nearly an hour now before the horses came that carried her husband to be. Smiling he went to the door to let the man in '' glad you could make it. come we have a bit to talk about. '' letting him in he headed to his study, picking up a glass of brandy to pour two drinks '' Luna it seems is a bit stubborn and well, she ran. i didn't send any one after her because my men would never catch her, its what i get for training her so well. I figured she is your wife to be and you do enjoy such a good hunt, you wouldn't mind going after her, she was after all supposed to go wth you today. what do you think ?" when the man agreed he quickly got him a hot meal, gave him a room for the night to sleep and was told that he would be gone before the sun was up. He didn't mind it at all. Going back to his own room he slowly drank another glass of brandy '' better run luna as fast as you can... '' he grinned'' cause you ain't going to get far.''
Few days later.
Luna sighed as she got moved around the small home she managed to purchase with what money she had, it was in a small village several days away from her own land. She didn't mind, she could take care of herself on her own and really didn't need anyone, she had already bought several new sets of clothes and dresses. She never wore dresses in her life but if she was to blend in with the rest of the villagers she needed to dress like them. She quickly stripped, had a quick bathe before pulling on one of the dresses. It fit good enough for her so she went and opened up a trunk at the foot of her bed and carefully placed in her armor, fighting clothes and weapons before closing the trunk and locking in. No one was going to know who she was and if they ever found out she would easily take care of them. Sighing she got up, slipping her shoes on before going outside, she still had some money left to buy seeds to sow. She may not be an expert in farming but she knew enough to get her by. Grabbing her cloak she headed out using her horse again as she went into the markets.
(( ok all yours XD yea yea its long. but its ok. i like long ones. this should be real fun ))

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias dismounted his beautiful appaloosa stallion when he arrived at the resdence of his fiance. He left his horse with the ones who had accompanied him, who would put up his horse in the stables. He smiled as the door was opened for him, and he walked inside. "Of course" he answered, giving a nod. His soft boots made no sound on the floors as he followed into his soon to be father-in-law's study. He took a seat in one easy movement, the light armour and clothes he wore rustling slightly with the movement. He took his drink and said his thanks, sipping at it while he waited for the man to speak. His eyebrow rose at what he had said, but he smirked in amusement. "Well then. I will of course find her. I'm sure it will be a challenge, since you have trained her so well. I'll leave before sunrise tomorrow" he said, tucking a peice of long silver hair behind his ear. This would prove to be most amusing, he was sure.
After being put up for the night Luthias rose early. It was pitch black out still. He tacked up his horse and strapped his bow to it's flank. He made sure he had all the supplies he would need before setting off. He followed the trail as easily and quickly under the inky black sky as if he was riding through on a bright sunny day, following a trail of bread crumbs. The art of tracking came naturally to him, and he was the best one he knew, not to be boastful. It was a fact, and he did take pride in it. He had no reason to. He had trained his hardest to become as good as he was, and now the hunt was one of his favorite things. Nothing thrilled him as much.
The trail became harder to follow as time went on, but he figured it out. She was proving to be a difficult one to follow. He hunted easily enough, drank and bathed by stream water, and only stopped for a few hours at a time, and only when completely nessicary. It was just under a week later when he came upon a small town, where he slowed. He looked around it with his green eyes, deciding that this could very well be the place that his wife to be had chosen to stop at. He stopped a citizen while walking by and described his fiance, asking if she had been seen. Once getting the affirmative, and recieving directions, he headed in that direction. He was nearing the end of his hunt, and his smirk was prominent on his face. His looks and gorgeous horse attracted more attention than he would have liked in a place like this, but he ignored it. It was too late to be a trouble to him now.
Once he arrived at the small house as he had been instructed, he dismouted. He tied his horse's reins loosely around a fence post, knowing he wouldn't go anywhere, but it was better to be safe than sorry. He walked up to the front door slowly, but he knew he probably wouldn't get the co-operation from hsi wife to be. Not that it bothered him. He liked his women with spirit, not the kind that did whatever you asked. He knocked on the door and waited, unsure if she was out or not, but ready to keep her from running the minute the door opened.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luna sighed as she was now returning from the market with several large bags of seeds to plate and tools she knew she needed. She even managed to get some fresh food and a couple of her very own chickens and still had plenty of money left she was really good at wagering down prices. She was nearing her home when she noticed a new horse out front.
Slowing her pace down she frowned glancing around before spotting the man standing on her door step '' ahh now what'' mumbled, she knew her appearance definitely looked different, covering her own tattoo's had definitely been a challenge but she managed it. Slowly sneaking her horse into the stall she got the bags off of him, but kept him saddled in case she needed a quick getaway. Going inside through the back door she wiped her hands before going to the front, Only opening the door just a small crack as she peered at the guy '' can i help you ? '' she was already cautious around the guy, he was too well dressed to be any other villager, maybe he was lost. Glancing at the back door she turned to look at him again she had left it open in case she needed to run. '' what do you need? i am a very busy woman sir and frankly i think you have the wrong house.''

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias waited, but obody answered the door. He let out a short sigh before just leaning against the door frame, waiting for his bride to be to show up. He had his back to the street, just waiting. He had no idea when she would show up, but he had the patience. It was all part of the hunt. The wait before the catch.
When the door finally opened, just a crack, he straightened up, his mouth twitching into a smirk instantly. He knew what Luna looked like, even if she didn't know him, and he knew that this was her, even if she ad changed her appearance. "Hmm, no, I'm positive I have the right house. I'm sorry to interrupt, but allow me to introduce myself. My name is Luthias" he said, falling into a light bow, "Pleased to meet you, Luna" he tilted his chin upwards, trying to shift his foot sideways into the door so she couldn't close it on him. He had no idea if she knew him by name, as the man she would marry, but it didn't matter to him either way. He knew he would end up winning this, no matter what. But he had no idea how long it would take, and how much of a struggle it would prove to be.

Luna frowned as he introduced himself, the though moment she heard his name she tensed up and even got more nervous when he said hers. She knew him to be one of the higher ups like her and that had been it, but now she knew for sure that he was either associated with the one she was to marry or was the man himself. Trying to close the door she swore when his foot got in the way so didn't even bother before she took over instantly to the back, managing to close the door behind her and throwing the lock in place before heading straight for the barn '' damn that was fast.. '' she muttered, quickly grabbing the reigns to her horse before peering out one of the small windows to the front, he was gone but his horse was still there, Wondering if he was in the house still. Closing the cover for the window she quickly grabbed her small bag for emergencies before leading her horse out the bag.
'' come on, geez no wonder father wouldn't say who it was'' she muttered, she wondered how persistant he will be. '' she got the feeling he was definitely still there and the fact that she didn't know how good he was at the hunt was also making her a little nervous. Once clear of the barn she tied her bag to the saddle before tossing the reigns over and easily swung up on the horse, even in a dress it was easy for her.

Luthias grinned, seeing her tense. His grin grew when she tried to slam the door on his foot, showing him completely that he was correct, and had found her. And she knew who he was. Or had some idea. He pushed the door open and ran after, skidding to a stop when the door was slammed in his face, and locked. He cursed under his breath and ran the other way, out of the house. Thinking about it for a split second he slowed down, giving her a head start, and himself more of a challenge. After about thirty seconds he started running again, out to his horse. He pulled the reins away easily, which had been the purpose of him tying them loosely.
He stuck a foot into the stirrup and hoised himself on easily, spinning his horse around and heading around the side of the house to the back quickly to see if she had gone, and if so, how far. He was sure he could catch up easily, and if he got out of sight distance it deffinitly wasn't going to take him long to follow her.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
she was a little ticked off at herself, having to leave her weapons behind as she heard his horse rounding the small house. Trying not to curse loudly she easily kicked her horse into a full out run towards the woods, its the reason she picked the place because the house was right in front of a dense forest. She glanced back only a second to see him rounding the horse before she turned back to face where she was going. She was gong to have to come back later for her things once she was sure she had lost him '' can't be happening, the guy is like a dog with a bone'' she muttered, ducking under several branches as her horse went through. she had to slow down just a little bit to make sure her horse didn't misstep and break a leg, or worse have her get flung off the beast and break her own neck.
One thing for sure though is that she was going to give him one hell of a chase. She didn't know what she would do if he catches her. So she just hoped he didn't catch her.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias bent low on his horse's neck, urging it after her, into the forest, but whispering in it's ear while he went. It was slowing through the forest, but still keeping pace as best it could. He couldn't afford his horse to get hurt right now. It would ruin everything. He wasn't too far behind, but it was a fair enough distance, since he had let her go, and she was closer to the forest than he had been. "No matter how fast you run Luna, you cannot hide from me!" he called through the trees, loud enough for her to hear him. He kept close down to his horse's mane, hoping that his long hair wouldn't get caught on the trees or something. That would be unfortunate.
He had no idea how long this would take, but he was confident that he would get her back eventually. He was enjoying this immensely. Luna had spirit, that's all he knew. He couldn't help but wonder weather she would continue to be like this after the married. It would make an interesting marraige, that's for sure.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luna frowned as she glanced behind her after hearing him, first mistake she had ever made was to do that. turning forward she had just enough time to pull on the reigns to get her horse to turn and ducking from a really low branch, nearly knocking herself off the horse.. ' ahh hell. '' that cost her some time. though glad she didn't get hit.
She was nearly to the other side of the forest when her horse suddenly put the breaks on,rearing up as well '' oi , easy boy , easy!'' she hissed, grabbing on the reigns and pulling back on them, something spooked him good and she didn't like it. He kept rearing before backing up quickly , tossing his head. '' damn it orion stop that. you stubborn ass. '' she was distracted now, forgetting about Luthias and just trying to stay on her panicking horse.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias could barely see her through the dense forest, but he could tell she had turned around to look at him, and had nearly fallen off. He chuckled to himself, grinning as he followed as quickly as possible. His horse jumped and dodged over logs and ruts, making his way as best he could. He shifted his weight to dodge a branch coming for his head just as his horse took a jump over a log. He cursed and lowered his heels to keep him in his seat, patting his horse's neck reassuringly.
He could tell they were nearing the edge of the forest when the trees started to thin slightly, making it easier to see, and he was able to go faster. Once they were out, it would be a race. This was going to be interesting. He could see Luna clearly now, and when her horse spooked at something he grinned. Perfect opportunity. He leaned closer to his horse's neck, digging his heels in, urging him on, eager to catch up while he could.

Managing to calm her horse down she glanced around, trying to figure out what had spooked him before she spotted luthias getting closer, swearing under her breath she kicked her horse into a run again smiling as he jumped forward eagerly now in a full out run as she was in a clearing. She had to admit she was having just a small amount of fun from this, though she seriously had to lose him or her horse was just going to stop all together from exhaustion '' just a little longer Orion '' she muttered, lightly patting his neck as she leaned close to him as much as possible, not even looking back this time as she neared a fence. Holding tightly as he jumped over the large gate, barely clearing it.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias cursed as she got going again, faster than him now that she was in the clearing. He stayed at the same pace until he go to the clearing as well, kicking his horse on, galloping as fast as his horse would go. His silver hair was flying out behind him while he rode. "Come on. . . come on. . ." he muttered to his horse. He urged him on even faster when they made it to the gate, soaring over it almost perfectly, but one of the back hooves caught and his horse landed off balance, but he managed to keep on and continue to run. He needed to make up this distance between them. They were so close, but so far.
Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
she knew she was running out of time, feeling her horse slowing down because he was now getting winded, searching for somewhere to duck under she swore several times before turning her horse slightly to the left, rounding a small barn that was near a smaller set of tree's, Grinning slightly she quickly jumped off of him while she was out of Luthias's line of sight. gaining her balance quickly she smacked her horse on the rump ''' go ! '' she ordered, directed him towards the smaller wooded area, she watched him take off towards it before she turned around and ran straight for the barn, slipping inside easily before leaning against the door'' hopefully that confuses him for a bit'' she muttered, looking around before climbing up a ladder to a small area that had a bunch of hay bails in it. moving them around she created a space to lay down for a bit, needing to take a rest. placing her hands behind her head she sighed as she closed her eyes. She wasn't worried about Orion, if he got caught she knew the guy wouldn't do anything to him. and if orion still kept going he would just head straight home.
Giving a slight sigh she began to drift off to sleep. wondering every now and then on how good he really was in tracking.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias could feel his horse slowing, and he could hear the animal's heavy breathing. They wouldn't be able to go this fast for much longer, and he was sure Luna's horse couldn't either. He steered his horse around the barn she darted around, seeing her horse jump back into the trees once he got her back in his sights, not noticing the absence of a rider. His horse plouged back into the forest, not knowing the area at all, but it didn't matter. He was just following her now. He could see the horse ahead of him, but not very well. Once he got a clear look, his eyes widened and he cursed, pulling his horse down to walk. He let the stallion walk as he turned around. A tired horse wasn't good to have on a chase like this. He would allow him to walk so he didn't run him to death.
He followed his path out of the woods easily, though it took him much longer. After a few minutes he dismounted and walked his horse thorugh, allowing him to cool down easier. The hair was streaked with sweat and he was heaving. Luthias stroked the creature's neck, talking to him soothingly. He reached the clearing and stopped. "Stay here Pallas" he said softly, leaving the tired horse. He walked up to the barn. It was the only place she could have gotten off at, since he had seen her before that, and he knew he would have seen her in the forest if she had gotten off there. He just didn't know if she had stayed there. Luthias walked up to the barn and walked inside, letting his eyes adjust as he looked around, wondering if she had left after the 45 minutes he had been gone.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
she woke up within a few minutes after hearing Luthias come into the barn, frowning she moved carefuly, not making a sound as she slowly slid to the edge of the loft and peered down at him. He was good, but she was sure she didn't leave any evidence of her climbing up the ladder or anything. She watched him for a moment , seeing him look around for her before she carefully scooted back, glancing around before spotting the small window. it was going to be a pain to climb out of and he possibly might hear her. But she had to try.
Carefully scooting over to the small window she stood up slowly , it was going to be a tight fit but she managed to slip through with out so much as a sound from her, getting down was going to be another problem. the barn was a little taller then her home. Looking around carefully she finally spotted a corner she could climb down. She would have to be fast considering there was no way he could miss the noise that was going to make. Sighing she headed over to it and slowly began to climb down, cringing at the squeaky nose the stupid thing made. She glanced behind her and frowned as she spotted Oion, ironically he apparently came back and was now standing next to the guys horse eating on the graze and apparently getting his needed rest. '' ahh you traitor'' she muttered. not really meaning it she just figured her horse apparently liked to be around another one.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias looked around carefully, his boots making little to no sound on the wooden floor of the barn. He looked up, seeing nothing in the loft at the front, but he would check up there after a moment. He was walking into the corner when he heard a squeak, and his green eyes immediately snapped up to look at the source of the sound. He dashed out to the front of the barn, seeing her horse next to his and grinning. Either she would have to run past him to get to her horse, or go on foot. He walked a bit to the side so he could see around the side of the barn to see if she was there, but he kept himself close enough to the horses that he could cut her off if he needed to. Luna was proving to be a difficult target. "Luna, you may as well just surrender. There's no way you're going to get away" he called, stopping and crossing his arms.
Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
she jumped slightly , hearing his voice as she dropped the rest of the way to the ground, glancing around she frowned, wondering where the hell he was at. She couldn't see him, but knew he was close, making a quick decision she figured she would try for her horse again. glancing around one last time before making a quick dash for her horse'' Orion get over here damn it'' called out, watching as her horse looked up before tossing its head as he began to walk towards her.

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias looked towards the sound when he heard Luna drop to the ground, although it was a fairly soft sound. She had obviously been trained too well, as her father had said. He smirked when she called her horse, immediately dashing towards the animal and making a grab for the reins quickly to prevent the horse from making it to her. He smirked triumphantly and held the reins tightly, hearing a nicker from his own horse, who was probably jealous. "Hush, Pallas" he commanded, and his stallion quieted.
Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
She froze instantly in her spot as she watched him grab her horse, scowling she sighed as she placed her hands on her hips and glowered at him '' let go of my horse. and just for your information i have gotten away before and i will do it again. '' she eyed him cautiously as she kept away from him but moved to the other side of her horse. '' who are you really and why the hell won't you just give up ? considering i am not going to go with you willingly. ''

Re: running from fate (( mature, R , reserved for rippednose))
Luthias shook his head and grinned. "No. You may get away again, but you won't get very far, as you now know. I am an extremely accomplished tracker" he said, holding the reins of her horse firmly. He watched her carefully as he moved to the other side of her horse. His own horse came and stood at his shoulder, wondering what he was doing. "Hmm, I see that your father hasn't informed you yet. I am the one you shall be marrying soon. Now come with me, I'm supposed to be bringing you home, and I guarantee your father would be displeased if I came home without you" he said, tilting his chin at her defiantly, as if daring her to disobay him, which he was sure she would do anyways.

she snorted'' well then he will just have to be displeased because i am not going with you, hate to burst your bubble or anything. '' she muttered as she reached for her horses reigns'' hand them over. and you only wish you where marrying me, i am not marrying any one. i don't need a guy despite what my father says. and the only way your going to get me back there is if you hog tie me '' she tilted her own chin up in defiance, daring him to try anything'' and i guarantee you that is not going to be easy if you try it,.''

Luthias laughed quietly, shaking his head. There was no way he was going back without her. He shook his head when she told him to hand the reins over. He wasn't going to let her go. "Hmm, I'm offended. By both of those. But I have to say, you're underestimating me. I'll hog-tie you if I have to, and I'm sure I won't have much trouble with it" he said, smirking and lowering his head, hig bangs partially falling into his face. He had rope tied to the side of his horse, which his free hand now inched towards, trying to make it inconspicious.

she arched a brow slightly '' is that a challenge? fine, try it, i dare you , '' she grinned'' don't be surprised if your the one who is tied and not me. and your underestimating me if you think i will be that easy to get. '' she took a hold of the reigns now and tugged on them, trying to get him to let go of them '' seriously , i don't even know you, why don't you go and marry some other girl who i am pretty sure would die to marry you . '' she didn't even see his hand inching towards his horse considering her horse was busy getting in her way while trying to get more food.

Luthias's eyebrow rose to mimic hers. "Hmm, maybe I will. Don't tempt me. Do we really have to do this the hard way?" he asked, tilting his head to the side, some of his silver hair falling into his face. He tightened his grip on the reins and tugged back, frowning slightly. "Well if you marry me, you will get to know me. And as far as I've been told I can be pretty charming. Don't miss your opportunity" he teased, smirking again. His hand closed around the rope and he untied it easily, holding it behind me until he was sure he had the perfect moment. He needed to get a clear shot without the horse in the way first.

she snorted'' i love doing things the hard way , you should know that by now, or did you not enjoy the chase?" she ignored the fact that he was trying to be cute with her. she may be slightly interested in him but she didn't want none of it considering her father was the one forcing it on her. '' i don't need an opportunity you know. i think i won't miss it anyways. can't miss what you don't want. '' she glanced at her horse, he was getting a little nervous by the small tug of war on the reigns..
Orion just wanted lose so he could graze, side stepping he snorted as he tossed his head up, not used to this kind of behavior Luna stepped back a little as she tried to soothe him '' calm down orion'' she reached up to try and grab his bridle but he jerked his head again this time getting lose before he swung his head, catching luna in the side, knocking the air out of he as he practically shoved her at Luthias.
