Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"A quest for a quest is usually how the trades go," Arxingall said, pretty much not worried of his injured shoulder being found. Az seemed pretty distracted at this point. Maybe he'd forgotten about it, as long as the back of his mind believed it was covered. Arxingall healed pretty fast anyway, the potions sped that up even more. "Most people have other people to hang around to quest or something with." Arxingall had been in parties where the people all knew each other and as soon as his purpose there was finished, they kicked him out. Kind of a lonely feeling, but he got used to it eventually.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada's mind was far from his archer's wound now, since his mind tended to flick through topics rather quickly. His sister had told him once in exasperation that he had the attention span of a gnat. "Yeah. I kind of wish some people would stick around sometimes though. It's always nicer, even if I don't seem to be the social type. He liked to think he wasn't ADHD, but it was possible. ADHD or Bipolar. "Parties that are too big are kind of annoying sometimes though. I always feel like telling half of them to shut up" he sighed, knowing that when he felt like telling somebody to shut up, he generally did.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
In a sense, it was almost better than a party was loud instead of silent and down to business. Arxingall may be like that, sure, but if the party was just using everyone, then it felt like a sort of...work force. He hated when they just asked for money or buffs. Not that Arx could buff people, and the last time he'd helped out someone with money, they hadn't paid him back. It had been a decent sum, something over 400,000 if he recalled correctly. He was working on building up their money again for that stupid mistake. "Depends who or how many are in the party for it to really be annoying. Other than that, friendly chat is welcome..." The Blue Land has many soloists.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"The parties where there is never a silent moment just piss me off" Azlada muttered. And the other parties that were in the same place as he was, that went around with four or five people, and eliminated every monster that you were going to kill. He ended up bitching them out. He preferred working with one or two other people, not a big group. And he couldn't stand the people who tried to say they were fighters that were so. . . preppy. Some of the girls roaming the Blue Land had no idea what they were trying to do. He was sure that was one of the reasons he was gay.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I can't recall the last group I was in that did that," Arxingall said thoughtfully. "Even so, I leave parties when everyone's gone. When everyone's asleep I usually take my leave and try not to bump into any of them again." Though they usually didn't mind him leaving. Sometimes they'd get mad and ask him back, sometimes they'd recognize him, but most of the time he went ignored. He was just one archer of many that could perform the same skills, some greater. He remembered being a newbie and asked to join a higher group, and then they sent him back when he needed too much help staying alive. Another reason he strode on becoming a strong protector.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I've been in a bunch. They needed me for something. Maybe just to look at, and came up with an excuse to need me, and they never. Shut. Up" Azlada sighed. "It was a bunch of girls, and after I left, they kept coming to find me. It gave me a headache" he had really wanted to punch those girls in the face and leave, but he had kept himself from doing that and ignored them. He couldn't count to party invites he had gotten from them. He almost got a heart attack when he saw some of them now.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Why not just tell them you're not interested?" Arxingall asked. "It's better than letting them go on about it. If they're serious, it's somewhat like leading them on too." Azlada was now taken too, so they had to back off. Arxingall would defend Az from the scary females. "Could have been worse group, I suppose." It could have been creepers as the entire group, not that the girls weren't creepers themselves.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada didn't care if he had been leading them on or not, which he hadn't been trying to do, but they seemed to think he was doing anyways, since they never seemed to hear his arguments. "I tried, trust me. But apparently they don't understand 'For the last time, I'm GAY! FUCK OFF!'" he immitated himself, sighing and rolling his eyes. "Worse? How so?" he asked, slightly doubtious of this, but he was curious. Nothing scared him more than a pack of raving fangirls. They terrified him, not that he let it show.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall gestured for the two of them to get going. and to be a little swifter than just a walk or glide. This place, with its numerous amount of goblins, got annoying. When they got to the camp it'd be fine. "Worse. Not sure how at the moment, but any situation, no matter how bad, has a worse side to it. There's always more that could be added on to it." Something he taught himself in order to keep on moving through quests and junk. Hp or mp low, maybe no potions, maybe little money to re-buy potions, and there was always something that could be worse. He wasn't much for optimism, he played more on statistics, but logic said it could be worse.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was silent for a moment as they moved along, wanting to just get where they were going already. "Well. . . I didn't get molested by them or anything. That's a good thing" he pointed out, seeing that as one of the things that could have been worse. Not that he would let a group of little girls molest him. Depending on his mood and who he was talking to, he could easily be either an optimist or pessimist. Right now he was somewhat neutral, looking at both sides. Many people looked at him when he was being optimistic and just called him stubborn, which he never denied.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Err, that's nice," Arxingall said, trying not to imagine what it might be like to molest Azlada. It couldn't be an easy task, what with the armor, and then his energy to begin with. There would need to have be a few to hold him down, that's all Arxingall could guess. And another few to take the armor off safely. Safely for them, that is. Wearing him out would take some time, letting him struggle and scream rape or whatever he might do. "There are usually a few more good things than we notice the first time around." Pretty much that, people over looked a lot of things.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada would have made a comment on how Arx wanted to, but he hesitated, finding it slightly awkward since he apparently did have some kind of feelings like that. He decided to say something anyways in the end. "Yep. You should try it sometime" he said, dropping his voice a bit as he said it, and for once, he was embarassed to be saying something like that. But he was going to have to if this was going to work out at all. He was going to have to be more comfortable around Arxingall.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Looking at Azlada with a somewhat confused, somewhat interested, and something like surprise, Arxingall tried comprehending why Azlada would say something like that. Flirting, he believed it was. Iridescence did that with her boyfriends she brought over sometimes. They'd tease each other about something stupid and Arxingall would take it seriously at first until he realized they were joking. He just stopped listening to whatever she said to other people after a while. "Maybe one day," Arxingall responded, looking forward to the large fields of Zakandia. They were all barren and covered in goblins. The camp was the only nice looking place in this area.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada grinned slightly at the look he got. He could tell that Arxingall hadn't been expecting that. He liked the answer he got though. "Maybe" he agreed, not even admitting to himself that he was looking forward to that. He sighed as they crossed Zakandia, the stupid goblins trying to hurt them. All they were was a nuisance, and occasionally one of the archers got an arrow stuck in his wings, pissing him off. He normally killed them if they actually got one stuck. Just thinking that, one lodged itself into the feathers and he turned on it, cursing and killing it in two hits and continuing on, planning on getting it out later.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall was pretty good at avoiding the arrows from these goblins here. The orcs in Moon Blind Swamp had a lot better aim. Azlada managed getting one in his wings, Arxingall could get it out when they stopped in the camp site. If they did that here, it'd just wind up getting more arrows in their wings, and that would never solve the problem. "SI can get that out later," he offered vocally, pressing onward for the more crowded area of Zakandia. The place was okay, there were definitely enough shops.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada didn't bother to avoid the petty, primitive weapons the goblins used, since they didn't do much damage, but time and time again it was proven to him that he really should try to avoid them. He looked up to Arxingall with a smile at the offer, remembering the feel of his hands on his wings, getting arrows out before. He was tempted to get more arrows stuck just to prolong the hands on his wings. "Thanks" he said, crossing that idea out in his mind, because that was just stupid thinking.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"It wasn't that far to get from the entrance to the camp, but it did get a little annoying after a while. The large corner of the rock that people had to go around wasn't that big a deal, but with all the other bits of rock and scattered debris, navigation through Zakandia was a little boring, Teleporting to the crystal would be much better, and Arxingall had been contemplating a while on moving his scroll point, but Mont Blanc had proved once or twice that it was a good idea to stay so far back in the land. Zakandia didn't even have the armor for him. He wasn't sure where he'd go for the next set, but he hoped it wasn't bad.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada continued the way through Zakandia, passing the black bears, until he reached the little town. He headed straight to Isolde, grabbing her attention to sell the things he had gotten from the Skeletons, and buying some more potions. Once he was done with that he sat down, trying to asses how many arrows he had gotten from that goblin, simply by how it felt. It didn't realy even hurt, just felt awkward, and irritating that they were there. The damage they had done could be corrected the minute the arrows were out, but he had to wait for Arx to do that.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall didn't have much business here, despite all the shops. Maybe some new jewelry, but he wasn't sure. They did provide magical defense, and stronger ones were better, since they weren't as expensive as armor. High quality jewels used in those that were enchanted to help block damage from some spells. He waited in the middle by the young, bright girl until Azlada was done. When the other male sat down, he had to guess he was finished and resting. Arxingall approached him, counting the arrows lodged in the wings. Not nearly as many as last time he needed them pulled out. A third of that, actually. Three were stuck and one had gone through. "Here," he offered as he sat down next to Azlada and snapped the arrow pieces, even cruder than orc arrows, and slipped them carefully out of the delicate feathery appendage.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada glanced up as Arxingall flew over, sitting down beside him. "Okay, thanks" he replied, relaxing his body. He knew that if his wings were tense it would hurt more than it already did, so that would be a bad thing. He shuddered lightly at the feeling of Arx's hands on his sensitive wings, getting rid of the offending wooden pieces. The stupid goblins should know not to attack someone who could kill them so easily. But of course, like all creatures, they were rather stupid.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"No problem," Arxingall replied, running a hand on his wings. He stroked the feathers gently, feeling the softness of them. Azlada may be reckless, but he did take fair care of the appendages. His hair was as nice as his wings, if only Az didn't charge so fearlessly into things, he might stay a little safer. Arx worried about him knowing he did this when he wasn't around, and when he was around, Arx had his back, drawing away the monster's attention from Az and leading them to him. "You need to be careful, you know. When you're running around." Azlada didn't dodge things charging in, he didn't kill them ahead of time.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada closed his eyes, enjoying of the feeling of the fingers stroking his wings. It was a slightly comforting and reassurring feeling, something he wasn't used to. He liked it though, that was for sure. He opened his eyes when Arxingall spoke again, and he scoffed lightly. "I am careful" he argued, glancing behind him to look at the lavender haired elf. He knew he could be a bit more careful, but he didn't find the need to. He knew that wasn't the best way to think, but he didn't really care. He was fine.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Careful, yeah. That explains the holes in the wings, arrows that could have easily been avoided," Arxingall responded dryly. He was serious about Azlada being a little more careful to not draw so many of their attentions on him in one go. Az wouldn't really be Az though, if he did take care. He wouldn't really be the loud, quick to leap fighter that didn't appear to think things through before he jumped into combat with four enemies already on his tail. It was like babysitting, almost, except, Arxingall was nearly sure babysitting didn't include having feelings for the watched. At least, Iridescence hadn't made it look like that. She used to complain about her temporary job before he told her she was old enough to fight and use that to earn her money.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Well it doesn't do much damage, that doesn't count" Azlada said stubbornly, frowning slightly. It was nice to have somebody other than his sister that actually cared about him, not that he was going to admit that. There were a lot of things he wasn't planning on admitting. They were too embarassing. He stayed where he was, still other than the small movement of his body as he breathed, and the slight movement of his wings in the breeze, or as they twitched. This was something he could get used to, he decided. Sitting here with Arxingall, gentle hands on his wings or something.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
It was nice to be out in the open, not enclosed by walls and knowing there was only one way out. Open air instead of stale, old air around them, it was just the familiar relief and gratefulness to be on the outside that Arxingall was feeling. That, and the fact that he was with Azlada. He wrapped his arms around the armor of the blonde's, resting his head against the space between the wings. Warmth, the cave as full of it, but it was an unwelcome build up of heat. There was something about human warmth and temperature warmth that made them significantly different.
