Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Yep" Azlada responded as another of the beasts crashed to the floor, sent back to the grave. "I only need two more iron ore pouches" he said, driving his sword into the nearest skeleton, engaging it in combat. He hated the grins they had on their faces while they fought. It was rather creepy. Most monsters glared and threatened, but these ones seemed almost mocking the people who took them on, as if daring them to win. It was rather unnerving to be in there alone sometimes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall took the other one, finishing up fast enough. He drank down a potion as he backed off, letting Azlada kill the skeleton on his own. "I'll see you out," Arxingall told him as he left the cave. When he was out he removed the fabric on his arm and tossed it, having an excuse that it couldn't get infected because they were out of the cave. Zakandia had an okay atmosphere, though Luna itself was fairly clean. There weren't too many machines or pollutants in Luna. Unless he were to literally rub dirt in the wound, he should be fine.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada finished off the last Skeleton after Arxingall backed off, before he sighed, leaning against the side fo the cave. "All done, finally" he leaned his head back against the wall behind him, relaxing his body. "Guess I have to go back to Vanclaudia and turn it in" he muttered to himself, hoping the miner wouldn't give it to him again. "Okay" he pushed off the wall and followed the archer out. It was nice to take that first deep breath of clean air, but he shut his eyes, not used to the sun. The dimness of the mine had been what he was used to seeing for the last while.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
The cloth that had been on his arm hadn't been that bright, so it didn't stand out on his armor. Out of the cave, as long as Arxingall didn't go waving his arm around, Azlada shouldn't be able to tell he'd taken it off and tossed it. Arxingall inhaled clean air of the outside, the sun that was blocked my clouds was a lot brighter than the cave light anyway. Who had the idea of putting fire torches in the moist, hot cave? Sure, it provided decent light, but the heat from that made the heat disgusting. Outside had a light breeze that chilled the sweat on Arxingall's body, making him give a shiver. He turned around to Azlada exiting the cave. He was mentally trying to draw Az's mind from noticing his arm. It wasn't that noticeable, in his opinion.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada didn't notice the piece of cloth gone, especially with the spots across his vision from the sun. "Good to be out of there" he commented, tilting his head back to get the sun warming his face. He never went far enough into the mines where it got hot, because he normally got overwhelmed by the mosters in there. They liked to gang up on him. His armor blocked out most of the breeze, so he didn't really feel it on his skin other than on his face, and blowing his hair around a bit. "So what are you doing now?" he asked, keeping his head back and his eyes closed as he waited for the answer.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I'm not too sure," Arxingall said, turning so the injured, uncovered arm was on the other side of his body and Azlada wouldn't see it unless he was on that side. He didn't know what he was to do with Azlada right now either. They didn't know where they were at with this except for fumbling around and waiting for something to tell them how to do what they were doing. "I might go the the Howling Ravine path. The Hunter's Union has been requesting help over there. Basilisks are quick beasts." They scurried over and attacked with their spikes. Those hurt.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada lowered his face and turned to look at Arxingall, opening his eyes. He was silent for a moment after he got the answer, thinking. "Well I was planning on heading through to the swamp. But I could, ah, join you, if you don't mind" he said, glancing away and feeling slightly awkward, not wanting to seem too clingy or something. He had only been in the Howling Ravine once, and it had some challenging monsters in there, but he could take them okay as long as he didn't try to rush things.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
It was good and bad that Azlada wanted to join him. The good thing was, they didn't have to part quite yet. The bad thing was, it made it easier to get his injured arm noticed, and he'd probably have to wrap it up again to keep Azlada content. "The Swamp is before the Ravine. If you like, I can help with something there and we can head over to the Ravine." Arxingall liked it when he could help people. He felt in debt to people when they helped him. He didn't usually ask for help, because of a pride issue, but when people offered, or helped him grind monsters, he was thankful and usually offered them a favor or two in the event that hey ever need assistance.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada looked up and smiled, brightened up by the offer. "Alright, thanks. Now I just gotta talk to Vanclaudia and we can go" he said, stretching for a moment before starting off, the breeze nicely helping with his wings as he flew up through Zakandia, passing the goblins that feebly tried to harm him. He didn't even stop to kill them while he traveled, just passing by without a care, even when the iron golems smashed at him, not doing as much damage as they looked like they would do.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Gliding on the side that his good arm would be seen only, Arxingall kept a pace only a little bit slower than Azlada. He let the other male lead so he could talk to the miner man and they could set off faster than Arxingall leading. Plus, if he took the lead, there was a possible higher chance of getting caught. He wasn't even bleeding that badly. The fabric took it in well enough for a while. He moved his hand slowly to the injury, moving the lips of the split armor and feeling the cut. Bleeding still, but slowly. Not gushing blood, which would be nearly impossible to hide. He pulled his hand away and casually wiped it on his armor. Blood on his hand would not get good results with Azlada and playing it off that the wound looked worse than it was.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada checked once or twice to make sure Arxingall was still following him as he flew a few feet off the ground, avoiding the scraggly little shrubs on the ground, and various rocks and land masses that made up Zakandia. He headed straight to the route between there and Zakandia Outpost, heading through the portal and up the path, not waiting for the archer. If he needed to catch up, he would while he spoke to Vanclaudia. He flew to the mine site, to the corner where the creepy looking miner was standing, accepting his reward, thankful to know that he couldn't take the Skeleton quest anymore.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
((Ooh, they should release Tarintus as a quest X3>))
Arxingall followed through the portal a bit after Azlada had made it through. He would have already gotten the reward for the thing, possibly grabbed another if Vanclaudia allowed it. They'd be heading through Tarintus, Moon Blind Forest and then to the Swamp. The Ravine and Red Orc had portals in the Swamp. Normally, Arxingall would just use his scroll to get to Mont Blanc and use it as a short cut to get to the Ravine. He headed up the path that passed where the miner camped out, seeing Azlada there. He seemed finished with business, Arxingall waved him over.

Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
((XD Az would be all 'O_O" ummmm. . . fuck?'))
Azlada was turning around as the other elf went by, and he smiled slightly when he was waved over. He said his goodbyes to Vanclaudia and headed over to Arxingall, flying past a few bears that decided to attack him. He dispatched of each of them in three blows, finishing the short distance to his partner. "Okay, all done here. I have a quest for Moon Blind Swamp, and then I'm free" he said, running his hands through his bangs distractedly.

Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"That's fine," Arxingall replied, turning for the portal that was all the way up the path and to the left to get to Tarintus. It was a boring task if you needed to go to Tarintus and then to Zakandia. Moon Blind anything and farther and then back to Zakandia for the rare quest it gave that went that far was a pain, and usually didn't pay well.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada nodded and set off after the lavender haired elf, almost studying his unusual hair from behind. It was an interesting shade, but in the Blue Land it wasn't exactly uncommon. It was a long trek from here to the Howling Ravine, but it shouldn't take too long to cover. It was just annoying having to go too far. "I wish I could teleport" he sighed as they passed through the crowds of goblins, the archers shooting at them pathetically. Their arrows did nothing but bounce off.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I know what you mean. I wish I still had that scroll granted to you for a week," Arxingall said thoughtfully. As a newbie he hadn't had much use for it, but now, as a stronger, more grown up fighter, he could really use it to get places quick. Teleporting all across Luna's land would be a marvelous time saver. On the occasion they were gifted with a movement scroll, but oh, how rare that occasion was. They arrived to the portal to Tarintus, the blue portal engulfing them one at a time. The portals were a little slow when more than one person stepped in, which was usually all the time.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Yeah. I don't see why that's given to you when you don't have to go very far. Oh no! From The Gate of Alkar to Alkar Harbor! What a journey!" Azlada put on a mocking voice for the last part as he rolled his eyes. Soon enough they were at the portal to Tarintus, and he headed through to the other side, wishing they didn't take so long sometimes. Everything in the Blue Land was slow but the fighting. That was one of the reasons he was a fighter. It was more exciting, and took more skill.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall looked at the gloomy grounds that was Tarintus. A beast called Tarintus was supposed to reside here, waiting to be set free. Luna would be upset if he got free, he supposed. Well, who wouldn't be? It would wreck havoc on the mostly nice grounds of the Blue Land. It'd destroy Luna as they knew it. Mimics hopped on by near the portal, Arxingall thought to his sister who liked them because of the sound they made when they spit out money. She was a treasure thief, and that alone would kill her one day when she let the intoxication of treasure and secrets capture her.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada scowled at the boring atmosphere. The next few places were rather dark. It got depressing after being there for a while. Tarintus, both of the Moon Blinds, and Red orc. They were all either dark or grey, or both. "I think Luna should make these places a bit more hospitable, in some way. At least make the sun visible" he sighed, wishing it could work that way. He had no idea the extent of the Goddess's powers, so he didn't know if that was an unreasonable suggestion or not, but it was an idea.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"That would be nice, wouldn't it? Moon Blind Forest has decent lighting compared to these places. Moon Blind and further on until the Ravine are really quite dark. It's depressing," Arxingall said, and mentally added, somewhat lonely. He got bored and lonely there when he spent the whole day training with strong monsters, running out of potions and money to buy those potions. People would ask him how long he'd been training, sometimes challenge him. Pkers were bad, so he was careful in Red Orc and the Ravine way. Luna called it fair game if people were over there to get pked.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was sure that most people would agree with this. It was just boring and depressing, and lonely. "Yeah. I think Moon Blind Swamp is the worst. It always just dark there. Not even just gloomy dark, but as if it's night, all the time. It freaks me out after a while" he admitted. A lot of the places he went freaked him out, but as a fighter, he sucked it up and fought anyways. Company made it all better, even if it was just some random he was yelling at. It made him feel like he wasn't the only one there.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Mont Blanc and the Ravine Way are another one of those places a party might be wise to go with if you don't want to be so depressed," Arxingall said, though he rarely went with parties. "The Mines are the same story." How many people here actually spent a lot of time with people? There were too many people to meet here, and so many left after knowing you for about five minutes. Rarely did they stick around for days. Months were a rare one. Years if you were lucky. Relationships got better results for having them stick around.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada nodded his agreement. "People don't exactly stay in parties with me for very long, generally" he admitted, scratching the back of his head. That could be that some people didn't like his attitude, some his stubbornness, and some just thought he was a pain in the ass, and then there were the ones that he scared off. It was a bit hurtful at times, but he dealt with it. He had his friends, sure, he didn't get to see them often, but they were still there, and now there was Arxingall. "But I guess I've got you now" he smiled slightly. He hoped this would last longer than some of his friendships did.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Under normal circumstances, someone he'd just met telling him he had him now would, at the most, scare him a bit inside. This, meeting Azlada, was not necessarily a normal circumstance. "Yeah," Arxing smiled back. "People usually have better things to do after I've helped them with whatever." They always left right after, usually never any words. Arxingall noticed he never got any buffers, they were the kind of people who just didn't talk to anyone anyway. They'd run by, buff anyone up, and walk on by. They had a lonelier jobs, Arxingall had come to believe after seeing one pass everyone by after boosting them up.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada always felt abandoned once somebody left him, especially if they left him without telling him. "Most people don't like to stick around. They like to find somebody that can help them the most with something, and then leave" he shrugged. He was fine with sticking with somebody for a while, unless he felt like ripping their heads off. "I think if somebody's gonna help you for a while, they should actually stay for long enough to get to know you" he and Arxingall had run into each other enough to get a general idea of each other, but they could still take some time to get to know each other.
