Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was silent for a moment, not answering even though the answer was in the affirmative. He hesitated a moment before stealing a quick kiss, getting off of the other elf right after. "Yeah. Let's go" he replied, his kiss the only sign that Arxingall was forgiven, despite himself. "Where to then?" he asked, not exactly caring where they went. But he wasn't planning on getting left behind ever again.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Smiling with the chaste kiss he had gotten, Arxingall put his stuff back on, arranging the bag strap so it wouldn't rub up against the wrapped wounds. "Might as well head to Zakandia, restock, and then decide from there what to do." He didn't think he'd be forgiven so soon, or maybe Az was just holding forgiveness above his head until he could prove it. He was sure Az would be a little paranoid or something about him leaving him now, Arxingall would just have to assure him through words and actions that he wasn't leaving.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada bent down to pick up his sword, listening to the distant sounds of the beasts that dwelled in the dark caves, none seeming to have come too close while Arxingall was bleeding. "Alright. Let's go then. Just don't get eaten" he said , glancing back at him before starting off, the long winding way back to Zakandia. It was a long trip, but flying made it shorter than running would ever be.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Mhmm," Arxingall hummed before setting off after Azlada, resisting the urge to ice rain the place just to get beasts' attention away from the blonde leading the duo. His wings held him up for the most part, but he would drop back down just to avoid exhausting them further and run a little before flying again. He might need a break after this, he thought, even if he hated giving himself breaks. Those were for the people who couldn't maintain their stamina.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada ignored the beasts starting after them as he ran through, occasionally getting hit, mainly by acid flowers. He checked back on Arxingall every once and a while, finding that he was struggling. He stopped in a rather deserted area in the mine, waiting for him to catch up. "You okay?" he asked, shifting his weight slightly. "You want me to carry you or something?" he raised an eyebrow, completely serious about it. It would be easy enough to piggy back Arxingall through the rest of the mines if he needed it.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
When they stopped, Arxingall almost thought about keeping on moving, but Az was concerned and might not like if he just went past him and tried to keep moving forward to get out of the cave. They needed somewhere safer than just a temporary clearing in the cave. "I'm fine, or I will be once we get out of here. I've been down here a bit." In the very back fighting his way to keep living and to finish jobs, he had been working a while. "Also, if you haven't noticed, it gets hard to breathe down here."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada nodded, understanding, but made sure to keep a better eye on him. "Yeah, I know. Until yesterday, I'd spent four whole days in here. It was pretty bad" he made a face, turning back to face forward. "Alright, let's keep going" he said, taking off again, passing through the Low Class Succubi, which scared him senseless for no reason at all. He rushed through, just wanting to get out. For all he knew, he was hallucinating all of this, and Arx really had left him. It could just be adrenaline of fighting a Shadow Fang along with the bad air.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall followed wordlessly, breathing through his mouth, dodging the crazy females that shot lightning and had a mysteriously manly voice whenever they kicked out with their boots. "Toxic air is not good," he commented. They could get a respiratory disease of some sort eventually, or at least he believed so. Enough poison concentrated long enough could do damage. Miners didn't work in the Mines for a reason, and the skeletons were former miners.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hmm. Well we're all going to die somehow, toxic air or crazy ass bitches kicking our asses" Azlada pointed out, as dark as that may have been, it was more than true. Soon enough they were in the territory of the Skeleton Workers and Acid Flowers only, near the front of the mine for sure. He winced as the stupid plants attacked, hating their long range attacks. He wished no monsters could do that. Fighters generally didn't have many long range attacks, fighting mainly in close combat.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I suppose, but Luna has us living for one reason or another." Sighing in relief, Arxingall knew the end of the Mines was near. He was hoping he was done with this place for the rest of the week. He also hoped his cousin wouldn't be needed anymore materials from the place. Just because he couldn't handle it himself didn't mean to send the strongest of the known family over there instead. The only reason he was in on this was because a bow was promised if all the materials were gathered. He was done for the week, he decided.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Yeah. We are Luna's soldiers. Created to cleanse the Blue Land of the infestations!" Azlada declared rather proudly, passing through the last of the Skeleton Warriors. "See you on the other side!" he called, jumping into the portal without stopping, knowing better than to stop, as the piles of bones would surely start attacking. He took in a deep breath once he was out in the open, noting firstly that Heis wasn't tromping around the portal as usual.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
It couldn't be helped that Azlada was as he was; stubborn, prideful, and in some sense, innocent. Arxingall liked it that way. How many others did Luna create to be just like him? He knew his duty and embraced it, was proud of it and everything. Arxingall rushed out, using reserve strength to make it to the portal after the blonde. It let him out in front of Mines, same as always. There weren't as many meat eaters on here, technically goblins, but anyone could handle those. Goblins usually could only fell cows and maybe the small child who got lost.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada waited for Arxingall to come through the portal, crossing his arms. "Are you okay? Seriously, I will carry you. It's not far from here" he frowned, knowing that he was struggling already. He had no idea why some people would deny that they were hurt, even though it was obvious that they were. "Come on, it's not that far to carry you anymore. And besides, everybody wants a sexy man to carry them somewhere, right?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He was sure his persuasion was going to work, although he was always sure things were going to work, when they really didn't.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Like you said, it's not that far," Arxingall replied, not wanting to be carried. He could suck it up like any other fighter and walk there. "I can't run right now, but I can walk. You're welcome to go ahead of me if you like." What with Az's energy, he might not like waiting for a slower walker. "Usually females are the ones in need of a pride boost and need carrying once or twice by handsome males," Arxingall said, rolling his eyes. He was no female and didn't need that feeling of pride, what he wanted was to keep his up and not be carried to prove he could do it.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada rolled his eyes, dropping his arms and turning back around. "Whatever you say, you stubborn ass" he muttered, starting back more slowly. "I'm not going to go ahead of you, because I don't ditch people" he said, emphasizing the word 'ditched' more than was necessary. "Not only girls need to be carried by sexy men. I'd love to be carried by one" he shrugged, continuing to walk slowly. It wasn't far, and there weren't any mosters that could really hurt them other than the Evil Golem, so he wasn't worried.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hm, as you say," Arxingall said, following tiredly. He might have to call it a day after, or maybe just take a long breather before trying to go back into fighting. He had been fighting his conflicting thoughts as well as monsters in the Mines. Though he knew it not to be smart to have his head elsewhere in battle, he fought to try to clear confusion, or at least subside it a little. It had more or less worked, he had put it to the side of his mind until he had run into Azlada again. "I couldn't blame you if you wanted to ditch me now," Arxingall commented, "an eye for an eye, as they say, after all."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada itched to go faster, but he refused to give in, intent on showing that he didn't ditch people, unlike some. "Yeah, but I'd feel like an ass. Then again, you would at least know where I went" he shot the other elf a look over his shoulder, flying a few feet in front of them to take out a goblin archer before he kept going, wondering what they were going to do for the rest of the day. It was obvious that Arxingall needed to sleep.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Again, Arxingall got it that Az was still mad about him leaving, he couldn't blame him. He could be mad as long as he wanted, and Arxingall would still understand. It was Azlada's choice to trust Arx or not, and now that he had done this early on in, Az knew to watch his back to make sure Arxingall wasn't sneaking off behind it. Nothing serious had started between the two yet, and Arxingall was glad Az hadn't found it later in their likely relationship since it would have done a lot more damage then than it might have done now. Arxingall walked after Az, not wanting to look as tired as he felt by fluttering wings, half gliding, half dragging his feet. He didn't need other fighters around him to think he was weak.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada walked rather slowly, making sure the archer hadn't passed out somewhere every once and a while. Soon enough, they were passing through the bears, and into the gates of Zakandia. He stopped just inside the gates to wait for Arxingall to catch up, so they could figure out what to do. He was just hoping that their sisters weren't around anymore. He might not be able to stop yelling for what Iridescence had said.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Between logic and desire, all he wanted to do was crash just about anywhere decently safe. The only place like that where sleeping and not waking up until he felt better was in a building. He liked sleeping outside, but the only problem with that was that he might get robbed by other people passing by if they happened to think him dead or worth time to steal from. He took things from corpses as well, since letting items go to waste was pointless, why wouldn't other people do it for other reasons? He caught up to Azlada, placing a hand on the throbbing area sensitive to touch. He felt paranoid and wanted to clean it, who knew what the Shadow Fang had been stepping in.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada awkwardly tried to scratch an itch on his side under his armor while waiting for Arxingall. "Kay, you wanna rest or something? You could barely make it back here, you're not doing anything else until it's better" he said firmly. With the aid of potions, and sterilizing the wound, it wouldn't take very long to heal completely. It never did in the Blue Land. He was feeling a slight twinge of guilt, that it was his fault that he had gotten hurt, but he shoved it back, reminding himself that the only reason he needed saving was that Arx had left him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"If I must," Arxingall sighed, "though I'm not sure where you want to take this?" Probably not to the buildings though if Az was thinking like Arx was and wanting to avoid his sister potentially being there. Isolde also didn't like blood in the rooms she rented out. She charged a lot extra to get a room if you were injured and needed to be treated. Of course, she did do refunds if you didn't get blood anywhere in the room. "We can go over there or something. No, rather, maybe a tent," he said, looking to the storage tents. It was just treating a mild wound that would heal quickly enough. Public stripping however, was an issue for Arxingall.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada tilted his head to the side. "Why not just here or something?" he asked, a bit confused. He saw no problem with that, if they just made sure they were out of the way. Although he was frequently in the way anyways. He didn't really care where he did anything, unless it was something extremely personal. It would only take a few minutes to treat the wound, and then they just had to wait for him to heal.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Az would just find it perfectly normal to strip in public to treat a wound. Not only was that improper but embarrassing to have others see injuries that needed treating. Some didn't mind just dropping to the floor and removing articles of clothing to fix cuts, some were too prideful to fix them at all. Arxingall was on the side of not wanting people to see, but not being too proud to fix what needed fixing. "Not only is that blocking the entrance for others, but letting others see weakness is a fine way to get targeted." That was the last thing he needed.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. "Everybody gets hurt every once and a while, you're not going to get targeted" he scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I do it all the time, and does it look like I'm targeted? By anyone other than those bitches, that is" he was sure in what he was saying, but whatever. To each his own. "All right, where then?" he asked, gesturing for Arxingall to pick a place, if he didn't want to do it in the open.
