Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall thought a moment, he hadn't been thinking what Azlada would think, really. He knew he might be mad, or he might not care. Arxingall didn't know Azlada well enough to judge reactions best yet. "I don't know. I just do it, sticking around never made me feel comfortable." He never stayed for anything, he left early, people who knew him got used to it and sometimes found him later on. He hadn't known what Azlada would say or do when they got up together, so he left to avoid confrontation of the sort. "I suppose I was unsure of the action after waking up with you, so I left to keep it from happening," he said uncertainly, feeling as if that might be true, that he was actually afraid of what to do.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada let out a sharp sigh through his nose, kicking at his sword, just for something to do, the metal hitting together. "None of this has made me feel comfortable" he pointed out, using a hand to motion to the both of them. The most comfort he had was when they were lying together relaxing, or sleeping. "That makes no fucking sense at all. And I hope you know. . . " he sighed again, averting his eyes and finishing his sentence softly. "It hurt."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall dared move closer, pulling him into an almost-hug. He needed to keep his distance in case Azlada didn't want to be close, and to avoid getting blood on him. "I'm sorry," was all he could respond with, he had no other answers that could come to mind. An apology was the only answer that was worth the situation right now, as excuses would sound made up and on the spot, maybe. He had done his explaining, no matter how confusing it was. "I didn't want to leave...but...I did." He had forced himself to move without stopping to look back, or to remain quiet, and not give the hint that he was leaving, just to 'accidentally' wake up Azlada.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada glared at the ground, wanting to pull Arxingall into a full hug, but he was set on still being angry. As much as he hated to be angry at him, he didn't want to let him off that easy, appology or not. "You're stupid. Just so you know" he muttered, still looking away. That was probably the worst insult he was going to give now, most of his anger burnt away. He could feel the bit of relief washing over him that Arxingall hadn't abandoned him completely, but he was still mad that he had left in general.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hmm, yes, I can tell," Arxingall replied, relieved Azlada wasn't pushing him away for the moment. He waited in silence a bit before asking if he was leaving. He wanted to head somewhere safer to take care of his injuries, but wouldn't do so until he was sure Azlada would be leaving as well. "Are you going to leave any time soon?" he asked, figuring that if he wasn't he could just wrap his cuts for a while until he could properly disinfect them and wrap them.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was rather happy that he didn't deny being stupid, accepting it instead. His grey eyes flicked to Arxingall finally when he asked if he was going to leave soon. "I dunno. I really shouldn't be here. I'm only here in the first place because I was pissed off and needed to distract myself and vent" he admitted. It was then he noticed the blood, this time not his own. "Umm. . . angry or not, I'm fixing that" he said, pointing at the wound opened by a Shadow Fang.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Let's head out. If you have a scroll to Zakandia on hand, go ahead and use it and I'll meet you out," Arxingall suggested, though with Azlada now noticing his wound, he didn't really think that would happen. "Angry or not, you might want to wait until we're somewhere safer." Here, where more could respawn anywhere and give pursuit, that was definitely not safe. "I can wait that long. It won't bleed as much if I keep applying pressure to it." He figured as long as he could avoid most of the attacks when they were charging through the thing of monsters, he'd be fine until.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada crossed his arms, giving the wound a pointed look. "I don't care how much it'll bleed. Blood attracts more monsters than normal, you'd be weakened, and angry or not, I don't want you DEAD. Now, we can do this the easy way. . . or the hard way" he tilted his chin up challengingly, a habit of his. He could wrap the wound if he wanted to, and there was nothing Arxingall could do about it. He was stronger by far, which was obvious from their body types.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
He had a point, monsters were drawn in packs to the scent of blood. Some of them were good stalkers and trackers too once they found the scent. At least Azlada didn't want him dead. His care was touching, but it didn't necessarily mean he was forgiven. "That depends. What's the hard way?" he asked, backing up slightly. He wouldn't mind his wounds treated by Azlada if it meant that Az was willingly touching him, but he was curious what the fighter could classify as 'hard way.'
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada raised an eyebrow, wondering why it depended. He could just give up and let him bandage it, but apparently not. "Well it includes forcing you down, stripping you, and bandaging it" he replied, knowing it would probably include pain if Arxingall fought back, but he doubted that would be the case. "Now, do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?" he repeated his earlier question, shifting slightly and putting a hand on his hip.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I'd rather do this the easy way, because that would mean we have to be somewhere safe first," he said, backing up to head for the portal. At least the first floor right by the second floor portal had a large clear space of no monsters. Of course, with Arxingall bleeding all over the place there was no guarantee that it would stay free of monsters long, but it was safer than with the area where Shadow Fangs would return. "I don't care how you do it, but let's just get out of here first. It's not safe for you."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Satisfied that he had gotten his way, even if he would have gotten it in the end, Azlada nodded. "Fine. Let's go then, before you bleed to death or something" he said, rolling his eyes slightly. He was definitly still irritated at Arxingall, but said nothing about the last comment. He didn't care if it wasn't safe for him. He could take down Shadow Fangs, just not when he was almost dead already. He picked up his sword in both hands and hefted it up onto his shoulder, taking a few steps forward.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Fine." Arxingall headed for the portal, the way clear for the time being. They had wasted enough time arguing, the beasts could reappear any moment now, he was sure. If he had to, by creature instinct, he could survive it just because his body would go into over drive and allow him strength and adrenaline to take care of whatever he could in a limited amount of time and emery. "After you," he offered when they got to the portal, gesturing for Azlada to go ahead. He had a few medical supplies in his bag, just a few potions left.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada followed to the portal, nodding and stepping through, hoping to the Goddess that Arxingall wasn't just trying to get rid of him again by making him go first. If he was, the blonde was planning on tracking him down and kicking his ass. He looked around the empty cavern around the portal on the first floor of the mine, that was always empty of beasts, unless somebody was bleeding all over the place. He knew he was going to have to work fast.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall followed after Azlada went through the blue light, letting it bring him to where the other would be waiting. When he arrived he found Azlada looking around the place, he looked too. So far, so good. He wondered how fast the smell of blood traveled in still, stagnant air. Well, with their noses, depending on if it dulled with time in the cave, it could be any time before they found it. "So, this is the easier way to do it, though we wouldn't really have to worry if we could just wait until we got out of the cave and away from the meat eaters."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada looked back to the portal as Arxingall appeared, blood evident on his leather armor. "Getting back would include running through hordes of them while bleeding everywhere. Stupid idea. Now what do you have to fix this?" he asked, mentally checking what he had in his bag. He was pretty sure he had a bit of fabric and a few potions, but that was it. He could feel a dull stinging in his face now, and decided that was where his earlier blood had come from.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Sighing, Arxingall kneeled down, he set his bag down and rummaged through it, taking out a few things that were in the way of his scavenging. He kept things in order, and every time put things back in order, though there wasn't much of a point since fighting messed it up every time. There was no helping it, and there was almost no point in fixing it again, but it was a habit and something to do. "I've got a few potions left, mostly mana pots, and a roll of bandages." He had other medical items, but they weren't very relevant for this. He didn't need stitches, at least, he didn't think so. "Disinfecting will have to wait," he concluded, leaving the medical supplies in his lap, where it was cleaner than his bloodied hands and the ground.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada put his sword down and took his gauntlets off, so he could use his fingers easier ((woot!)). "Mm'kay. Now take off your armor and your top" he instructed, crossing his arms. He had no problem ordering somebody of that, even after what they had been doing the previous night. But he wasn't going to think about that right now. He knelt down in front of Arxingall, ready to bandage the wound. He coudn't tell how bad it was with the leather in the way, but he would be able to see once it was gone.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Stripping his armor and top off carefully, the top being harder to take off since it was practically stuck to the wound, Arxingall let them sit on the floor, the bloodied part facing the surface to avoid collecting dirt rapidly. Claw marks extending from one side of his torso to a little more than the middle, he was lucky it was only superficial. He could feel that if it had been deeper it would be harder to move. He tsked, looking at what he'd need to clean up later. Fighting never was a clean job.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada looked the wound over easily, seeing that it wasn't too deep or anything, so it should be fine without any immediate medical attention, except disinfectant and bandaging. He picked up the things that were sitting in Arxingall's lap and set them on top of the armor, on the dry spots. He moved forward and straddled the other elf's hips, pushing him back a bit. "Alright, hold still" he said, picking up the bandages, his face almost blank as he unrolled it a bit.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"As if that's a problem," Arxingall muttered, feeling the contact of them, their bodies close together. This is what he would miss if Azlada left him. If Azlada had died because he hadn't gotten there in time, whatever Luna had had planned wouldn't have been able to work. But then, she had this whole thing set up, he had been there because of her plan. His hands crept around Azlada's body, loosely circling his body that was close. He felt the need to be holding him, but at the moment that was the best he was getting, not to mention Azlada probably didn't forgive him yet.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada looked up from the bandages through his bangs. "Get your hands off of me" he said flatly, a small glare crossing his features. He could do whatever he wanted, but Arx wasn't, because he was still mad. He wrapped his arms around the other elf's back, holding the end to the bandages there with one hand and pulling it around his torso with the other. He crossed the roll over the end, so that he had both hands to work now that it was secured there.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Biting back a small smile from Az's fieriness, Arxingall just rolled his eyes a little and took his hands off. Azlada had every right to be mad, but Arxingall didn't have to take it offensively. Luna had them where she wanted them, he was trusting her on this one. He would just allow Az to do as he thought was best until he forgave him. Maybe Az was one to hold grudges, but with Luna's hand on this, maybe he wouldn't keep it for so long. He rubbed his fingers together, the sticky blood smearing with dirt. He was definitely not touching any injuries with these fingers.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada could tell that the archer was holding back a smile, but didn't do anything, keeping his face neutral easier since he was still ticked off. He wrapped the bandage around tightly until the whole wound was covered with a few layers. He ripped the end of the bandages off and tucked it into previous layers. "There. Good?" he asked, meeting Arxingall's eyes. He was used to putting bandages on himself more, but it wasn't much different, other than being a lot easier to put on another person.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Sure, we can go now then, yes?" he asked, figuring he might as well let Azlada be the leader until they got out of here. He didn't know what the other was going to do while he was so angry at him, so best let him be the leader, get out of here, and then figure out what they were going to do next. He grabbed his shirt and his armor, which might need fixing unless he changed armor soon. He might just leave his shirt like this if he got new armor too. The rips would be under the leather if he wanted to spend a few hundred thousand on a piece.
