Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hmm, that's a good point. I might drown, knowing me" Azlada commented, sticking his hand in the water and flicking it at Arx, the droplets hitting the archer in the face and he grinned innocently. "Alright, then let's sit on the ground" he shrugged, letting go of the other elf to sit down on the ground, crossing his legs and leaning againt the side of the fountain.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall smiled and laughed when the water droplets were flung at him playfully. Azlada liked to flirt, it seemed. He lowered himself to the ground after Azlada did, taking care not to move his body as much as possible. He leaned back against Azlada once he was settled on the ground relaxing on the fountain. He sighed from the content and slight effort it took to lower his body down. He could sit here just like this with Az, he'd have to do it another time he wasn't injured.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada watched as the older of the two sat down slowly, obviously not in the best shape thanks to that wound. He looked rather stiff as he lowered himself down. "You okay?" he asked as Arx settled back against him. He wrapped his arm back around the archer's waist, using his other hand to run his fingers through the lavender hair of the elf next to him lightly, careful not to pull it or something.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Sure. Be fine in a bit. Just...nothing fast or difficult," he said, breathing warm breath on Azlada's neck. Was he cold without a shirt on? Just a little bit? It almost didn't matter what temperature it was outside. Being shirtless made you at least a little cold regardless. He put his own arm around Azlada's waist, putting it below the arm the was on his so they intersected. "Shadow Fangs have vicious claws. I'm lucky it wasn't worse." Or his face, as he recalled how close it had been to losing his eyes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hmm. You should scarf down a potion or two" Azlada advised, shivering slightly at the breath on his neck. "Mhmm. Vicious little bastards. I think they need to calm down and accept the fac that they shouldn't be there" he sighed, smiling at the arm around his waist. They would look like a normal couple right about now, if they weren't both males. But that didn't bother him one bit.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Potion. Right." He had forgotten it because Az was distracting and had made him tempted enough to just sleep without it. "Err, do I have any left?" he asked himself as he reached into his bag, digging around blindly. He pulled one out, a little potion he had found as a drop item from one of the creatures outside. A potion was a potion, anything would do right now. He drank the small potion quickly since it was only about a mouthful of healing. These had more taste than the mp potions.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada rolled his eyes, wondering how he could have forgotten with a wound like that. "I've got some if you need any more" he offered, eyeing the small potion that Arxingall downed easily. He drank those down like water when he needed it, having ODed on them more times than could be healthy, but he was fine after feeling like he was drugged up for a bit. "I'm sure you need more than that, at your age" he commented, poking him in the side lightly.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"At my age? The older you get the more you need?" It sounded like comparing to drinking, which some of them did get more in them when they got older. Tolerance, he supposed. Arxingall didn't think much of drinking, and rarely ingested any, but that wasn't the point. The stronger you got, maybe the older you got, the stronger potion you needed to work with your body. He recalled using the small potions when he was younger, and now used the larger ones, occasionally the mysteriously large ones. "One or two would suffice, I guess."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Well yeah, the older you get, the more strength you get, the larger or more potions you need to replenish that strength" Azlada shrugged, having learned this more from being a warrior than anything else. He used the largest potions he could find to work with his stamina and strength. "Hmm. I guess if you're just sitting here it'll be fine" he shrugged. If he was fighting, he would take about six. But while sitting, he healed faster since he wasn't exerting his muscles, so less potions were needed.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"We all learn that eventually as the potions stop replenishing us less little by little." It got to be a bit of a pain because they got a lot more expensive as the size of the bottles increased. Sure, what was a little extra gold spent when it was your life on the line? They sold everything they could or did whatever they had to to save money when they had none. Everyone learned how to do that as they had to purchase higher grade of things, stronger weapons or potions. You had to be a fast learner in the Blue Land.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Exactly. But you're lucky as an archer, barely ever having to deal with this kind of thing" Azlada gestured to the bandage on Arx's chest. "I don't very often thanks to my armor, but once it get's worn, I'm screwed. Or what's not covered" he glanced down to his legs, which were only ever covered by pants. He thought sometimes that people should sell leg armor or somthing. If a warrior was injured and couldn't run away, they could easily die.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Agility and flexibility are meant to cover what isn't covered by armor," he said, having a high agility practice since he was supposed to manage dexterity. Warriors didn't have too much flexibility though, but they had it when they really needed it. Some of them were too stubborn to run away, maybe a little stupid sometimes, thinking they could handle it just because they were warriors. "Sturdier armor might be nice in the case of mages, I'm not sure why they wear robes only."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Flexibility isn't as easy as you think when you're this strong" Azlada grinned, both boasting and not at the same time. He was a fair bit flexible, but he would bet any money that Arxingall was really flexible. He smirked slightly at the thought. "It's because mages are stupid" he scoffed, shaking his head. "How flexible are you then?" he felt the smirk curl at his lips again as he looked over at Arx.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Mages are actually quite intelligent if they can harness the elements and do damage with them," Arxingall corrected, having watched his cousin, a mage who worked hard to get where he was, used the elements of the Blue Land and then some. "How flexible am I?" he repeated, catching the tone in the voice and returning the smirk. "I could show you in time," Arxingall told him, meaning that when he healed real flexibility in casual things, and in time as their relationship progressed, flexibility was something used in about everything.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"You know, I was kidding" Azlada laughed, shaking his head, "Mages are all about a hundred times smarter than me. I don't think I have the right to call anybody stupid." He raised an eyebrow at the returned smirk, grinning a bit wider. "Really now? I look forward to it" he was only half joking with that, stealing a quick kiss from the injured elf. He couldn't help but wonder how far they would really get, and how long they would last. If Luna really wanted them together, then he was sure that they would stay that way.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall shook his head slightly against Azlada's shoulder. "Calling yourself stupid proves my sister's point, and you wouldn't want to see her when she thinks she's gotten something right." His sister had some sportsmanship issues. She could get very 'in your face' when she was right, or when she was wrong she'd wave it away like it was no big deal. He stole a kiss for himself from Az, kissing his jawline so he didn't need to push himself up to reach any higher. "There's a lot to look forward to when Luna's involved, I think," he said, although it depended if her involvement was for good or not.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada frowned slightly, looking down at the other elf. "Does it really happen that often?" he asked, wondering how often that girl could actually be correct. It didn't seem like that would happen that frequently. He smiled slightly at the lips pressed to his jaw, Arx stealing his own kiss. "Mhmm. Luna generally knows what she's doing. And I'm pretty sure this is the good kind of involvment" he said happily, proud to be recognized by their goddess enough to have her meddle in his life.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"It can," he shrugged, "it doesn't happen every day if that's what you're thinking." Maybe once a week, a little more than that. Less than three and more than once on a regular basis. "Still, best not to raise the statistics on that." He hoped it wouldn't affect anything involving her life in the future. "Sometimes it's best not to question the goddess. I'm guessing she does this often enough to know what she's doing, or to know when she's bored." Luna did do some strange things sometimes he noted at some point of watching life go by in the Blue Land.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I don't think she should ever be allowed to be right" Azlada sniffed, looking in the other direction, at the blacksmith that was standing on his own next to some of the buildings. "Well I'm hoping to avoid her in the future, so hopefully I won't have the opportunity to raise the statistics" he sighed, resting his head against Arx's. "Sometimes I really wonder what the Goddess does with her life. Meddles with us from lack of things to do?" he knew that wasn't true, but he wondered sometimes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"It happens. Maybe when she gets older she'll calm down and wise up some, but until then, ignoring and avoiding her is all that can be done. I wish someone could bring her down a notch." At the same time, he was just a little proud that his sister could hold her own. She was a bit snippy with everyone and held herself above some people, but he was glad she didn't need babying to get around in the world. She was stronger than a lot of the males in the Blue Land. "You could ask her sometime next visit in Alker Harbor," Arxingall said. Luna was good about talking to people. "Except, she might not say anything if you ask her about what she's doing by putting us together. She doesn't like giving spoilers."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"She'd better" Azlada grumbled, sighing. If there was anything that girl needed, it was to calm down. He knew he was being slightly hippocritical, but he didn't care. "You should hook her up with some nice, quiet, sweet boy, and maybe she'd calm down for him" he suggested, wondering if that would work. "Hmm, I'm sure Luna wouldn't tell me anything about this whole thing if I asked. We're going to have to play this by ear, and hope we don't get ourselves killed in the process" he was sure it could happen.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Time tells." Time told people almost anything they wanted, they just had to be patient and listen for it to speak. They had to understand what they were hearing, and accept it. It was up to them to know what to do next. Iridescence wasn't one to sit still and wait though, so who knew when or if she'd change. "Her brass may be useful someday, wait to see, I guess." People were as they were for a reason, Luna's reason. "Going by ear, I wouldn't have it any other way."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Time should go by faster" Azlada decided, his voice firm. He was ready for Iri to stop pissing him off every time he saw her. He could have died in the mines, and it would have been her fault. "Is it possible for that to be usefull?" he asked, giving Arx a slightly confused look. He had been told his whole life that it made someone stupid, and they were likely to get killed. "Going by ear is what I do most of my life. Screw planning" he grinned, not the most organized one out there.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Time waits for no one, as they say, you know," Arxingall told him, smiling at Azlada's decision. "I'm fairly sure it means it won't speed up for anyone in particular." Things like that, maybe Luna controlled, even that he wasn't sure. There had to be things higher than a single goddess, right? "Now if you do that to planning, you'll have no idea what to do next. Playing by ear, turning plans on a dine, very bad, sometimes. Most of the time." Although that saved people too. So many possibilities to change fate, it was almost scary to make the wrong choice.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Well time should speed up for me, because I'm awesome. If it doesn't, I'll punch it in the nonexistant face" Well aware that made no sense, Az just grinned. He solved everything by threatening or using violence. Or yelling. "What's wrong with making it up as I go?" he asked, moving his head off of Arx's to look down at him curiously. It had never actually gone wrong for him, unless it had and he just hadn't noticed.
