Her blood froze as she studied the matching markings.
"....And what of them? ....What significance do they have on us?" she asked, though she was drawing her own conclusion. And if she was right, she became afraid--judging by what she knew of him he may run and end her little forbidden fantasy all too soon.

Scy stared out to the distant dunes for a while, looking at the silvery strip that was the only part of the Nile that could be seen from this side of the temple.

She turned back around to face the inside, her eyes picking him out of the darkness. "...What do we need to do to finish this ritual thing?"

He listened to her silently , nearly relaxing visibly and glad for the fact she wasn't going to condemn him.though the other part was, she was in season. boy did the fates know how to kick a man in the balls.. figuratively speaking..
