he gave a smile when she rolled into him, so allowed his arm to come around her and lazily run up and down her side, just letting her speak since like before, sometimes she had things that she just needed to get out and say, and he never lied when he told her he was a good listener.. '' mmm true. some do think their loved ones are up in the sky. personally .. i think they stay with you in spirit really. sorta their essence in you, helping you on your path of living and frankly , giving you guidance even when you don't know it. . ''

he wasn't too surprised that she admitted to sometimes wanting to catch a look of her father in the forest, who wouldn't? especially those who had never really known them. '' that is very understandable. and i certainly don't fault you for wanting a look or two at him.hmmm.. and in some cases i think it is better to have known him and yet not see him, instead of knowing him in person and then up and losing him. but only sometimes, other times, not really , either way your always going to have some sort of regret or another. ''

Rolling to his side to face her he reached up to lightly brush away that one single tear which left a wet mark through the bit of dust on her face, giving a gentle smile he kissed her lips softly. '' love you to.. and technically you can still tell him those things.. even if he really can't hear.. .. '' he bit his lip slightly as he thought for a moment before holding his hand out, letting the little ball of flame to appear and have it dance around his fingers.. '' think we need a distraction, want to try the fox fire?"

She listened to him very closely, to what he said about the essence of loved ones living on in one's soul, and it brought some comfort. "You know, I think you're right; sometimes I think I hear a little voice in the back of my mind. Usually when I'm in trouble, or when I'm feeling lonely. Maybe it's him."
She watched the silvery flame in wonder, eyes wide and bright in its unearthly glow. She'd never seen a foxfire before. She reached up to touch it, and delighted in the strange sensations as the cool flames licked her fingers. It felt odd.... like a physical incarnation of his spirit, and she realized it was just that--his spirit energy simply materialized into the form of a cool flame.
She smiled, and looked up at him. "...Show me."

He smiled, watching her touch the flame in wonder, which was alright, since he made sure it wouldn't hurt her.. '' its simple really.. comes from your energy. now fox fire usually is about.. the same color. . it depends on your energy actually, yours i think will be a different color then this little blue one. '' he smiled, moving closer to her and bring his arms around her,his fox fire still dancing on his fingers as he slid the palms of his hands over the back of hers.. '' best way to learn is to cup your hands like this.. as if your holding some water in them. '' he positioned her hands together, smiling when his foxfire danced over her palms.. '' if you need help. use the feel of my energy, take a deep breath and just.. relax.. picture yourself holding fire in your hands. ''

Scy listened carefully to his instructions. The melody of his voice, which she loved, helped too, the pleasant feeling of his hands on hers, his presence alone. When he cupped her hands together, watching the little ball of flame play in the air.
She employed an ancient trick, one she'd always used as long as she'd lived--which was a rather long time--and was a way in which she found her faith. She studied the details of her surroundings, the warmth of the sand, its texture, the sound of a slight breeze rattling through the hardy brush, the coor of the magenta highlights playing off of thier skin, the calming glow of a fading sunset. Other things too, that which she didn't see or hear; after finding that first level of focus, she graduating to the second stage, in which she sensed and oddly almost heard the stars glinting above, the vigilance of the statues guarding her temple, the focus he was radiating, the tingle of his aura against her own.
Then she closed her eyes and went on to the third step, searching her inner self, feeling the flow of her own energy. Normally, she was always able to tap into her energy quickly and thoroughly--her freeze abilities were powerful, but cost a lot of energy and required a lot of discipline to control.
But now, trying to trap into her dormant blood, with her wolf blood conflicting with some of it, required much more focus. But, as the moments passed, she stumbled onto something that felt familiar and yet strange, and suddenly she felt a presence in her much like Kurama's, but one older, stronger.
She brushed across it--metaphorically speaking--and suddenly, she felt her fingertips warm, and after almost ten minutes of finding this reserve, a little silver spark flickered to life. It wasn't as large as Kurama's, or as defined, but it was a little puff of silver flame, true enough. She opened her eyes, and stared at it in wonder.

He watched her intently , nearly twenty minutes passing since she took the time to focus, which was good he liked the fact she took her time to do it. it was better that way. He made sure he stayed very still as well to keep from adding any distractions.

The moment he saw the little silvery flame, small as it was, pop up onto her fingers he smiled. '' definitely quick learner, most take several tries to learn this.. take your time though, don't force it to come out or grow larger.. making it large or small is the slightly harder part.. only way to do that is to slowly feed it more of your energy or take more of it away if you want smaller.. '' he kept his hands under hers, gently stroking the soft skin on the back of them as he adding his fox fire to her's, letting it mingle together and grow a little bigger with his own energy. '' pretty soon you will be able to control it without any help from me. . and it would definitely be easier to call upon it.. what does it feel like? . '' he could sense the energy in her, curious about it.

She watched in wonder, smiling as the flames mingled, even seemed to chenge colors slightly. And what amazed her was that she could feel it in her palms, the fusion of thier emergies, almost like thier souls were coupling. It was an odd feeling, almost a detached one. But what was odder still was the sensation she felt within, and she had the funny feeling that it was her father's half of her that was stirring, as though awakened from a centuries-old sleep.
"....Alien." she said, for lack of a better description. "It feels... Alien."

he blinked in surprise at her words before giving a gentle laugh as he slid his palms over hers now and linking their fingers, their flames still mingling together and it had moved over the back of his hands now. '' alien huh.. but a part of you. so soon enough it will feel normal again.. this i think is just your father's half doing its work. '' he gently placed a kiss to her cheek before nuzzling her neck. '' embrace the feeling, welcome it in. having both of your bloodlines working together will give you more power then you know. ''

She closed her eyes, smiling and relaxing, getting goosebumps when he nuzzled her. As he did, she opened her eyes again, halfway, staring at nothing. "It's nice to know he really is still there, deep within. It's... comforting."
She titled her head back to look at him, her green eyes sparkling. "Wanna take a bath? The dust is getting kind of itchy."

Scy chuckled, and snuggled closer to him. "Since when do I not behave myself? But alright. I must admit, with an actual male servicing me this time, my urges seem to be reduced considerably. What can I say? You're a very satisfying lover for a woman to have."
She kissed the back of one of his hands, and then broke away from his comforting hold--it had a feeling of security for her--and rose to her feet. She pulled him to his, then held his hand as she took him to the secret way in, where the aquiduct let out for a few yards, and then vanished beneath the desert's surface again.
The soft sounds of a slow tango could be heard from the tunnel beneath the temple, over the water's babble, thanks to Scy's skillfully wired stereo system. Humans wouldn't be able to hear it, but they were not human, were they?
Partially sillouetted against the red and magenta horizon, Scy danced to it, her graceful steps coupled with her soft, beautiful humming and her stripping bare before wading into the water, eager to be free of the gritty, dusty feeling on her skin.
She looked back, and saw him still standing there. "Well, are you coming?"

He gave a light laugh as he kissed her cheek before watching her get up and then allowed her to pull him up. '' uh huh you don't ever behave'' he teased.. ' well glad i can be of service to you love. '' as she lead him through the secret passage way. as he heard the music and he released her hand he watched her dance and hum to the music as she slowly stripped bare.

He was a bit entranced by it all, watching her body move to the gentle beat of the music. he had to blink several times when she asked him something..'' hmm?.. oh yes.. sorry was .. just enjoying you dance'' he teased, stripping himself and tossing his clothes into a pile before wadding out into the water with her, enjoying the coolness on his bare skin. '' you know.. could definitely get used to living in a place like this.. though the sand would definitely annoy me from time to time.. you do know i don't like staying in one place for long yes?" he slowly began to wash his body off,scrubbing away the grim and dirt..''i usually stay around for a few years, then have an urge to get up and move again.. a different setting and such you know. ''

Scy smiled, eyes half open looking down at the dark, glinting water. "So... You liked that, did you?" she asked softly, washing her hair. She had her back turned to him--to keep him from getting too aroused. She really didn't want to wear him out. And if he said he was sore, she felt a pang of guiltiness. Logically thinking, it was probably his lower back that was sore.
She dropped to her knees in the water, and as she continued to bathe.
Maybe she should give his sore spots a massage later. Least she could do. "...I love to dance. And sing too. In fact, my love for dancing has sort of worked its way into my combat style, or vice versa."

'' he relaxed a little as he followed her direction and continued to wash up, diving under for a moment to soak his hair before coming up and pushing his hair back.. '' mmmm definitely feels damn good. ''

once he was clean he sat down a bit in the shallow part of the water to watch her still. '' as for you singing i don't doubt that.. i catch you a time or two humming a few things when your not looking. so i pretty much already have a good idea on how your voice will really be like once you just let loose on it. ''

Scy smiled and shied down into the water. "Kura, you're making me blush." She finished washing, then breast-stroked right past him, speaking as she did. "So, you say I have smooth and fluid movements, and a good voice."
She rose out of the water behind him then, and nudged his hair away to wash it for him, as he had done for her the other night.
"That's.... probably one of the nicest things you or anyone has said to me."

he bit his lip and closed his eyes, feeling her behind him now as she messed with his hair. '' i merely speak the truth hun. . '' he relaxed instantly enjoying her hands on him as he slowly relaxed'' you know i wouldn't lie. besides, others don't see what i see.. they can't or they would definitely get a bit... suspicious i suppose as to you not being normal.. thats all. '' smiled and looked over at her.. '' soo.. any plans later?"

he kissed her back, slowly and sweetly before pulling back and smiling. '' uh huh. and now that you got me, its easier to relax '' closing his eyes and rolling his shoulders slightly he yawned. '' mmm but we still have some things to do i suppose.. getting those things moved into my vault.. and then. well focusing on your collage class's as well as other things. '' he had already caught wind of another item he would love to own for himself, but he wasn't about to tell her that. she would end up following him and getting them both in trouble. he grinned at the thought of her trying to steal something. she was good, but not as good as him.

"Mmmm, much easier." she agreed, rubbing his shoulders as he rolled them. "So, are those your plans for tonight then? Start moving the treasures now, when we're already relaxed? Although I must admit, moving them at night would be easier, as the temperature's dropping.
"Or would you perhaps like to have dessert and watch a movie on my computer? And remember, tomorrow we have reservations."

he thought for a moment, really procrastinating actually on answering her since he was enjoying the rub down he was getting, and frankly she had a point, he really didn't want to do anything while he was already relaxed and ready to just kick back and enjoy himself a little more.. '' mmm i think it can wait.. no need to get all riled up again and stressed out moving things.. and yes yes i know. i haven't forgotten. i am not daft woman. '' he teased, looking back at her and reached back to give her a playful poke. '' dessert and a movie sound good. . which movie though is now what we have to decide. "

"Oh, I never said you were daft, now did I, King of Thieves?" She nuzzled his neck as her strong hands slid from his shoulders and down his back, focusing on on his quadrilaterals and the other muscles in his lower back she suspected were where he was sore. "And we have some options; Ghost Rider, one of the DaVinci Code movies.... Up to you, really. I have a decent collection in my electronics room."
She lifted her nose to the breeze, inspecting it for abnormalities. "We'll likely have a clear night--the wind is still. But nonetheless we'll have to pay attention to the air. Sandstorms have a tendancy to whip up unexpectedly."
She lifted her chin to nibble on the base of his ear a little. "Other than that we should have a decent enough night. And, like I promised, I'll behave myself and won't jump you tonight."
She blew a gentle breath across his temple. "But know that it's only that promise that's keeping me from seducing you right here and now, my love."

'' mmm interesting, haven't been called that in a while'' he teased, slowly releasing another breath as she massaged his back lower now. '' mmm as for movies.. think ghost rider will do. haven't seen it in a while since it has come out actually. and i know about sandstorms hun '' he half opened his eyes as she nibbled on his ear then blew on his temple, releasing his breath on a hiss he turned around completely and wrapped his arms around her, pressing close as he nuzzled her neck and bit down on her shoulder lightly .. '' that is definitely not behaving ,you are teasing the hell out of me you know.''

He was trying his best to behave and actually took in a few deep slow breaths before closing his eyes again as he slid his hands gently over her back and shoulder blades'' behave.. don't want to have to tie ya up because you can't hold still '' he teased, sliding his fingers in her hair and pulled her head back gently as he nipped along her jawline lovingly.

She delighted in the sounds of his laughter and claughed herself. "Ah, it's a shame; the title suits you."
She watched as he turned around so suddenly, and kept still when she felt his fangs press into her flesh. She was a little flustered by his words. "So, I can't even give my husband a little love nip without him saying I'm teasing him, when that was never my intention. I donno if I should take that as a compliment or be anooyed by it." she said... annoyed. "Pfft, maybe I should just not give him any attention at all." It really hadn't been her intention to tease him.
She let him pull her head back, and it was everything she could do not to giggle with affection as he nipped her jaw, on principle.
"I don't do bondage."
She sighed, and gently freed herself from his grasp, gave him a short but gentle kiss, then reached ashore, grabbed her clothes, and waded upstream, slipping into the aquiduct tunnel and getting out in there, growling in sexual frustration. She wanted him, it was true enough. But, damn it, if she couldn't even rub the soreness from him and give him an affecitonate nip without 'teasing' him, then she wasn't going to touch him again until he came to her.
She slipped up to the second floor, dressed in her most unprovacative pajamas--a blouse and pant set with a cherry blossom print, and combed out her hair. She clipped it back, rubbed her face down with an alcohol pad, and performed a few other simple toiletries.
If he'd come inside, she didn't pay attention. Grabbing a small carton of milk--she kept a series of small ones she kept in a chest freezer. People notice when you bring groceries into an ancient temple--she took a trip back down the stairs and veered off into her small kitchen, and proceeded to mix two flavors of pudding, banana and butterscoth, and pour them into angel food cups. A quick and simple dessert to make when one was upset about something.
She put the little desserts on a tray and took them upstairs, setting them on a floor table. SHe retrieved her laptop, it's powercords and the movie, then sat on the floor on a pile of pillows she had just lain around. She didn't really know she'd had such a moody reaction to his remark, and she suspected her ridiculously swinging horomones. She sighed, and waited to see if he would even bother coming inside, or if he had gotten angry with her moodiness and just gone to his own home. She hoped he hadn't--she didn't want him angry with her. In fact, the prospect of him going home right now sort of upset her a little.
...Damn horomonal mood swings.

he watched her, completely flustered by her reaction. he had only been teasing and he was sure she knew he had njoyed her little love nips.

sighing and now alone in the water he ran his fingers through his hair. " gah women and their damn mood swings." he really didn't know what to do, other than to finish washing up and getting out before clothing himself. wondering if he should just go home and give her some space. Once again he sighed and followed her scent inside, walking around barefooted a moment as he listened to the sounds of her moving around.

thinking again before he headed up the stairs and slowly poked his head through the doorway.watching her silently. " safe to come in?"

Scy had been sitting there in the gathering gloom, but when she heard him come up the stairs, then lift his voice against the silence, she looked over to him, and gave him an apologetic smile. "Yeah.... sorry I went all moody on you. Fucking horomones are yanking me around."
She patted the pillow next to her where she sat.
"I really wasn't trying to tempt you out there though." She reached up and lit a lantern--oddly enough with a little pouf of foxfire.
"Too lazy to get up and get the matches, let alone the lighter. ...I made dessert. There's fruit in the fridge if you want to put some on yours."
