As they where in the moment a tap on his door interrupted them.
It was Daniel. "Listen, I think we may have sprung this on you too soon, I told them to give you some time..."
"Time won't change my mind." Maverik interrupted, still holding Pere. "I have something to live fir this time." He said as he looked down to her.

Pere turned sharply to look at the door, a dark look in her eyes, she still held Maverik close. She knew Daniel was only the messenger of the bad news and he had treated her so kindly but now she couldn't help but feel a little bitter towards him. She turned to Maverik as he refused the offer again. She gave a small smile up at him then looked back to Daniel with softer eyes.

Daniel looked at Pere, then at Maverik. As the two friends stared each other Daniel took a deep breath. "Would you do anything to keep her? Anything to see her again? What would you do for her?"
"I would die for her." Maverik stated.
"Then you should fight for her. You should honor her. If the werewolves conquer our lands, if they infest our kind. Who's to say she'll be safe." Daniel turned to leave. "We'll be outside for your joining. You have an hour."
Maverik was quiet, looking down to Pere.

Pere looked at Daniel with hard eyes again knowing he was using her to attack Maverik and get him to join the war. She looked to Maverik hearing him say he would die for her, she let out a sigh. Once Daniel left she looked to Maverik again "Well..." she sighed "What if I fight for you?" she said quietly. "I have sword and bow skills, My family fought in wars of old and I did also" she said looking up at him. "I just don't want you to get hurt or killed" she said.

Maverik shook his head. "No. Our kind is stubborn. We may not be mortal but the ideals of the mortals are still in us. Women can't fight in wars. Besides, if your were in the war, I would have more to lose."

''I can't just sit here tho Maverik, they will find a way to take you, I've seen you fight and you move faster than anything and you are smart and tactical. They will find a way and if or when they do I wanna be by your side" she said looking up at him.
