To End This War And Bloodshed

Ayasha the only daughter of pharaoh sits next to her father at a table of generals, advisors, and other important people from her kingdom and their enemy's kingdom. Her father Raven was trying to find an agreement for the kingdom to end this war they have been having for ten years now. Ayasha looked towards the door at a few servants and saw the fear in their eyes. She was tired of seeing her people fear everything around them. It was time to have this war end. Ayasha stood up and everyone went quiet. Ayasha says, "A lot of you have suggested an arranged marriage. If that's what it takes to end this war and worthless bloodshed, then fine. I will gladly marry one of your kingdom's princes." Pharaoh Raven was stunned by his daughter's bravery.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

One man stood up before all others. "Marry into my kingdome princess!" He shouted. "Perhaps then you will win this war and give birth to an aire that will rule these two great territories." As he spoke the other kings roared in disrespute over the beautiful daughter of this mighty pharoah. "I have commanded the greatest armies of the mediteranian sea and defended against the tirent Babylonians without much od a scrach." He shouted over the crowd.

Ayasha looked at the man who had spoken first. She knew he from an earlier war they had when she was a child. As she was about to speak to him, the other kings roared in disrespute over her. Ayasha says over them all, "Quiet down!!" Everyone in the room grew quiet again. She says, "I am not something to fight over like a prize to be won. I will marry the man who agreed to this first." She gave him a look of forgiveness for not remembering his name.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

"I have had many names, but before I give away my name I need give you more of my past." He said with a returned stare. "I too am a prince amoung you, but not of royalty. I am the last of the mercenaries that once populated these lands. We were killed of from coruption, Yes!" He interupted the crowd before they spoke. "Even mercenaries can have government and coruption. My father and my kingdome fell, but I did not lie. I command the armies of my employers, at least what men they gave me. With this thier generals could take credit for my victories. I have skills to win battles pharoah, and your daughter seems to like me." The man said quite fond of himself. "I am Virbeastio. A name that means beast of or amoung men. My curse is to recollect the pain of a fallen empire." He said as he looked upon the men infront of him. "Wich amoung you will deny me her hand?"
"I heard of you." One ruler said. "You can't wield a sword." He shouted, starting the crowd up again.
"Its true." Virbeastio said silencing the crowd. "It is true that the curse, WICH was given to me by the gods, prevents me from wielding a sword."
"So what good are you to her."
"I have learned not to need a sword, and my curse has blessing. When the time ultimately requires. I may free the beast within, but I dare not try."
"Do you have men of your own?"
"Thirteen actually." He quickly answered. "Men I have scavaged from the empire, much loyal then your men. And I would put them against the entirety of all of your men. If you kings are done questioning my worth, I would here from the princess."

Ayasha looked at Virbeastio a moment as she took his information in. The men around the room were uneasy as she says, "Seems to me that you are more worthy of me more than these men." The men groaned at her insault. Her father laughed softly as he knew Virbeastio would have his hands full with his daughter. She is a free spirit and needed a man who would love her but not control her too much.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

"Then my lady, you my call me Vir (veer). And perhaps you should introduce yourself to my men." Vir said calling his men onto the hall. "These are the Warriors of Men." As the thirteen men walked in, it was obvious they were absolutly loyal. There tough leather armor was complemented by there metal helmats and beautiful swords. There shields were tall and dipicted a seven point star with the head of a panther looking from the shield. "May my men escort the unworthy kings from the hall so I shall speek to my new pharoah and my queen in private."

Ayasha smiled and nodded so they could escort the other kings away. Pharaoh Raven took his daughter gently by the arm for a moment. He whispers, “Do you really wish to be married off? I mean I know you want to protect your people, but I don’t want to be in a bad relationship.” Ayasha says, “I am okay with it dad. It will save our people and our home.”

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir looked to the two speaking. "Is there somthing wrong pharoah?" He said walking to Ayasha. "I assure you I am a good leader. My intentions have lact in my past, but that is soon to change." Vir said as he stood by the princess.

Raven says, "I don't not doubt your leadership. It's your patience and kindness I doubt." He motioned his daughter to leave the room. When she was out and the doors were closed, Raven sighed. He says as looks at Vir, "My daughter is a free spirit and can be very stubborn. It's a form of defence mecanizum Ayasha has develop to keep herself from getting hurt by men. It will take months maybe years before she'll be able to show heer true self to you. Will you be patience enough to wait for that day?"

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir nodded his head. "You sent out a request to wed your daughyter to a man who can end your war. I came here for the fortune and title." Vir took up an apple and bit into it. "I'm sure your daughter is lovely, but you must understand that you need me as a warrior more then a son in law." Vir made a good point, the time for love would have to wait.

Raven nodded and said, "You make a good point. My men will fight by your comand without question." Then Raven stood up to guide him to his men. His eyes were calm and cold like they always were during war. Meanwhile in Ayasha's room, Ayasha laid on her bed happy that Vir would finally bring peace to her people. Soon her people would be able to walk outside without fear of an attack.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir nodded and walked with the pharoh, examing the men. "They looked well trained, but it is not the men that win wars. It is the leader they fallow. I will bring your enemies to thier knees my lord, and those we conquer will have choice but to join us." The man looked into the sky. "I have a feeling we should head inside for some rest. Your enemies look to our direction and will be upon us soon."

Raven says as he looks to the sky as well, "There is a storm on it's way here." He got some guards to guard his daughter's room. Raven nodded to Vir and his men to follow him and guided them to their sleeping quarters.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir walked into the keep and called his men to his side. With perfect percision they formed in next to him, six on each side and one infront of him. "I'll need two of you to keep wach of my room, make shifts as you please." Vir said to his man infront.
"Yes my lord." The man answered with an obidiant nod.
"Raven if you see fit. I would like to see your daughter brfoe I sleep."

Raven nodded and said, “Of course…” He took him to his daughter’s quarters. He knocks on the door and said, “Daughter Vir would like to see you.” Ayasha got off her bed quickly. She covered herself in her robe. She says, “Come in…”

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir shut the door behind him and tilted his head to her in respect. "Princess, I dare not say I love you. I just want you to know your husband before you mary him. I am a mercenary at heart, I am doing all of this for the wealth of a king. I did not even recieve your father's message, I stoll the scroll of another dead prince. I found him floating three miles off shore. I hope in time you and I will come to like each other a bit more." He said starting to the door.

Ayasha nodded some. She says, “I understand Vir…” She was not going back on her word. She was doing this for her people nothing more. Ayasha says to him before he leaves the room, “Just be careful while you’re fighting. That is all I ask of you.” When he was gone, Ayasha got out of her robe and got back into her bed. She laid her head down on the pillow and closed her eyes with a sad sigh. She hoped he could make this war end fast.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir softly smiled as he turned around for one last word. "Would it be too much to ask of your future husband... If he could get a goodnight kiss?" He said awaiting her answer.

Ayasha looked him a moment and smiled. She went over to him and kissed him softly ad sweetly. So she would not press her luck with him. Her lips were soft and innocent like she had never had a mean or lustful thought at all in her life.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir smiled as he looked down at her, some hope entering his mind. "Thank you princess. I hope to make you a happy wife in our neer future." He said politely. As Vir left his bride's room he met his men outside the room.
"Sir get some rest if you are right about the attack." His right hand man said.
"I am, storms are perfect conditions for attack in a harsh desert." He replied. Vir was escourted to his room where he rested for a few hours.

Ayasha watched him go and then went to her bed. She knew she would not be able to sleep tonight, but she had to try. Ayasha laid still in her bed and covered up with a warm blanket. Deserts had hot day and icy cold nights. So she sort of wished she could cuddle up to someone.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

As the storm crashed with thunder and lightning, Vir sat awake and ready. As his right hand manentered the door, Vir was staring out the window.
"Sir the enemy is here..." He said already in his armor.
"I know, wake Raven and round the troops. Today is there test, lets hope they pass. " Vir said turning, eager for victory.
The soldier nodded and dashed through the keep, crashing through the doors without fright or warning. "Your majesty your enemy aproaches to the castle's front. Sir Vir wishes you to summon your men."

Raven woke up instantly and got up to make his men gather. They were ready for war. Raven had a few men guard his daughter. He knew that he was not going to make it through this battle. The last time they were faced with an attack, he barely survived. The guards woke Ayasha up to make sure she was ready in case they had to leave the castle.

[DragonMaster Pyro]

Vir was outside with the men, his body and leather armor drenched from the rain. "You've encountered them before. They show no mercy, for you shall recieve none. They will charge swiftly and they wont stop until they breach these walls." Vir looked at thier frightened faces. "Here me now! I have never lost a battle nor have I seen walls I have been behind breached. Don't ruin my reputation!!!!" He screamed, filling the crowd with insperation. Vir then took a place ontop of the walls to wach and conquer. "Let them come!!!!"

Ayasha could hear Vir trying to encourage the crowd. She could also hear the enemy troops heading their way. Ayasha shuddered as she could feel the vibrations of charging feet coming fast at the walls. She thinks, “May the gods protect us all from evil and may the gods welcome those who die with open arms.”
