Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
“I don’t need to hunt for another few weeks or so and my practice is different, I wasn’t trained as a warrior since my body is a lot weaker than the others, I wouldn’t be able to take as much damage, plus strength is not something I excel in” she said “I was trained in my family’s technique, assassination, how do you think I got so close to the king and injured him?” she asked.
She decided she best practice early in the morning and walking into the bathroom to change instead she pulled on the torn jeans, white backless top, white shirt and tattered pale blue scarf which she tugged on a little as she walked out. “Much better, more comfortable for me” she said “But it might be nice to see how well they are doing” picking up Deadly she waited a little “If you don’t hurry up I’ll leave without you” she said simply laying Deadly on her back and looked over her shoulder.
She knew exactly where they were and landed nearby “Hello Amelia” she said folding her wings in “Never expected you to come to come in the morning, lady Seclusion, Lord Nickodemus” she said looking to the two of them. “I felt like a bit of practice and he wanted to see how his soldiers are doing” she said. "Ah of course..." she said

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
He looked her over as she changed into her new outfit. He raised a brow. "Interesting but still prefer you in a dress." he chuckled. He was right behind her as she flew over the city to the field outside the city. He could see Argon and the others training the troops in five different groups. They had them going through a series of drills, each demon paired with another demon. When they landed and Seclusion talked to Amelia, he studied the techniques and grinned. In the couple of days that he had them training he could see they were learning.
Argon was merciless in his instruction. He only held back enough to not kill. He had a small group watching him as he and one of the soldiers squared off. Argon attacked with his sword and the Demon Soldier went on the defensive, his blade moving rapidly to block the blade of Argon again and again. Normally a soldier would become cocky at that point, but this one didn't. He could see the demon's eyes flick here and there, looking for the next move, an opening. The Demon had a large bruise on his cheek which told him he had been to cocky before and Argon had taught him a leason.
The furry of the attack and defence continued for some time before the Demon Soldier spun around and began his attack. The Soldier was good. It seemed he took to his training well. As he approached to watch closer, Argon spotted him. The slight distraction gave the soldier only a second but he used it to his advantage to get inside Argon's defence and score first blood."
Argon laughed as he stepped back and moved a hand to the minor wound. "Excellent, Most Excellent!" he told the Soldier and commanded the group to sit. The soldier sat with the others the look of satisfaction on his face.
Argon saluted Nick. "Sir this is the best of your soldiers. They have all shown great apptitude and skill." he said. "This one," he pointed to the soldier he had been fighting, "has learned exceedingly well." he held up his bloodied hand. "He is quick and as you saw it only took a second of disruption of my attention for him to see and take action."
Nick approached the soldier who immediatedly stood and saluted. Nick looked him over and nodded. "Your rank?" he asked.
"Corproal, My Lord." he responded.
"Lieutenant." Nick corrected him as he smiled. The Demon's eyes went wide and he stood taller and straighter. "Once the training is done for the day, report to the Captain and inform him of your new rank.
"Yes, My Lord." the soldier said quickly and proudly.
Amelia watched Nick and his promotion of the soldier. She turned and smiled at Seclusion, "He is different then any Demon I have seen, or fought."

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Seclusion and Deadly listen, “Hmm indeed, it appears so… but seems that he is a soldier better suited for our ways of attack”
“Shesh, you don’t change do you?”
“What do you expect and at least they are learning.”
Amelia nodded “They have also swallowed their pride and are slowly getting used to us” Seclusion nodded. “He also took that advantage very well” she said “Indeed, anyway for your training. We need to find someone to match your ability and no killing, I know you can control your ability, but it’s you so…”
Seclusion watched the soldier training picking up faults and easily spotting which ones were best and which ones still needed a lot of practice. She also picked up that some were still a little reluctant to accept the training but since they were ordered to they wouldn’t argue against it. “Also, seems you’ve gone back to your old dress code” she said joining her where she sat above watching. “You looked so much nicer in a dress” Seclusion sighed “Not you as well…” she said and jumped down standing besides Deadly talking to Amelia who laughed a little.
She noted a few other things but slipped back into thoughts about what she had picked up from one of the demon lords in the court. It bothered her greatly but wouldn’t speak a word about it. Deadly looked to her and nipped her “I know, what you’re thinking, you know that someone else will figure out you unease sooner or later.” She glared a little “I’d prefer later, I have to figure out what to do first…” she said and rustled her hair a little before she walked around thinking. Amelia looked around and frowned… “Hmm Argon, Seclusion wants to train, think you can stand against her for a bit?” she asked

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Nick stood before the others as Argon told of their progress. They all stood and saluted. Each of them had done well and Nick promoted them on the spot. Most to Sergeant. These would be the core of his small army and they would ensure that the soldiers were kept trained and new soldiers trained to the same level the old ones. It would also inspire the others to pay attention and train harder.
When Seclusion and Amelia approached and asked Argon asked about some training, he turned and smiled. "It would be a pleasure to do some training with you." he told her and went to the circle that he had marked out on the ground. "I know of your training and it is not like this." he waved at the training going on. "Yours is a more specialized and I think that some here," he nodded to the small group, "Would also benifit from such training. Think you could train demons to do what you do?" he asked her.
Nick cocked his head a bit and looked at Seclusion. "Well now, if I understand what is being said, do I need to watch my back." he grinned.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
“Hmm maybe, but they need to know the basics, those in themselves take a while usually. Also perhaps the ones that are not so strong would be best, they need to be rather quiet as well.” She said walking into the circle on the ground holding Deadly within her grasp, “Your move first” she said Amelia looked to Nick “Perhaps, just be careful not to annoy her, that’s all I can say and don’t let greed take over either, you’ll meet the same fate as the second queen, Pandora otherwise” she said actually warning him.
Waiting she picked up his possible movements perched on Deadly she sat back and twitched her fingers. “Her specialty is quick kills, speed and agility, in other words she is very good at getting away but also it takes a lot of control, look closely” she said pointing out small shifts in the ground from the threads that travelled over it, they were blunt, so they wouldn’t hurt Argon, they’d just be really annoying and giving her an advantage.
She waited for his move silently her wings ready to support her if she had to move in a certain direction. “First one to fall on their back loses” she said looking to him.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Argon eyed Seclusion as she entered the circle. He noted her wings and they way her fingers moved. He knew some of her training but not all. He began moving around the circle slowly, "That sounds good." he told her. He looked her up and down, noteing as much as he could. He saw the small shifts in the ground and threads.
He fented with his sword to her right and then spun to his right moving his right wing to clip her and knock her off balance, all the while turning his head to watch what she would do so he could react. This would be difficult, in that he was trained to kill and so was Seclusion. Like in his training with the Demon Soldiers, he had to refrain from losing himself in the fighting.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
She stopped the small twitches in her finger, easing her breathing to a far more silent pace knowing every breath could give her away, she jerked at his right wing quickly gaining her balance by stretching hers out a little. “Nice try” she said and moved something up to her lips, jerking her head back threads pulled out of the ground, blunt but they were to her advantage trapping him in them.
“The basics are very similar but watch…” said Amelia, Deadly chuckled a little “Now, now, no playing around”
“Oh hush, I love to play” she said back before she stood on Deadly easily keeping balance and pulling a thread that was positioned behind his legs in an attempt to trip him over, unfortunately they weren’t exactly strong enough and she frowned a little, letting the threads drop she manipulated a few into certain places, one of them attaching its self to his leg, hopefully without him noticing and he made another attach to his sword hilt. Jumping form Deadly she walked over. “Come on then” she said moving out fo the way of one his attack easily and grinned a little. She soon jumped back onto Deadly flipping herself over and taking the scythe form the ground, the point soon on his neck.
She lunged at him since she had two blades she used them to her advantage missing and attack she could easily hook the other blade behind him if she used the right technique.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Argon chuckled as he felt the tendrel on his leg and caught sight of the one on his sword hilt. He was not completely defenceless. The ground had been beatened down and moved around by hundreds of Demons' booted feet. there was quite a bit of debrie on the ground. Torn up grass, dirt, small rocks. He moved his wings in powerful sweeps back and force causing the debrie to fly up at Seclusion, some hitting her body, some into her face. She would have to cover her eyes or get dust and dirt in them that could temporarily blind her.
He reached down and pulled the tendral from his sword and then cut the other one on his leg. He then moved to his left squating low, the tips of his wings dragging on the ground as he tried to get behind her or at least out of her periferal vision, as he went lower, putting his left hand on the ground and sweeping one of his legs at her ankles to try and knock her off her feet.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
She closed her eyes when the dust and debris went flying at her, the dust got in her eyes and she tutted annoyed at herself before she stretched her wings out focusing on using the small threads to pick up where he was. Placing Deadly in the ground she jumped onto her when he tried sweeping her. She then balanced herself back on Deadly crossing her arms over her chest, she would not attack in such conditions, she knew better than to even attempt.Rustling her hair she frowned at the dust, sighing she was a little annoyed. "Seclusion focus" shouted Deadly as she narrowly missing an attack loosing her balance but catching herself with ehr wings swiftly.
She mostly just tried not to fall on the ground taking a few hits as she waited for the temporary blindness to wear off before she lunged at him form Deadly hoping to pin him down, she already knew what to do if it fail since it had failed her quite a few times.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Argon frowned. His attack had succeeded in getting dust and dirt in her eyes, but he failed to knock her off her feet. She had Deadly, a Demon souled weapon that seemed able to balance it self on the ground even with her ontop of its twin blades. He had no such weapon, only his wits and training. He was able to get a few hits in but she kept her balance. He knew the dirt and dust in her eyes would clear shortly and she would not fall for that attack again.
He had to some how knock her off of her Demon souled weapon and keep her from using it to balance on. He sheathed his sword and removed a long whip from his hip. This he flicked and sent flying at the long shaft that was apart of Deadly. It wrapped around it several times and then he gave a hard jerk on the whip to try and dislodge it and make it fall the the groung and therefore making Seclusion fall.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Deadly gave a displeased snarl when she began falling the balance she held being lost quickly, feeling the balance being lost Seclusion changed her fall, lunging and knocking him down so both fell, giving a groan she pushed herself up and into a sitting position looking to the sky and then to Argon. “Just because I rely on Deadly doesn’t mean that you win if you take her out, silly Argon” she said and stood up helping him to his feet, rustling her wings a little. Deadly turned back and snapped at the whip unwinding it from around her with Seclusion’s help. “You’ve gone rusty Seclusion. Usually that would’ve taken you less time”
“You’re still timing me?” she said and tugged Deadly’s ears before standing up again and stretching her arms and wings. “Let’s call it a draw technically we both fell”
“Lady Seclusion, you have gotten rusty, what have you been doing these past months?” she said smiling a little “Oh hush up, there were other things that needed to be attended to plus, I have a lot on my mind at the moment” Deadly looked at her “No excuses, you need to brush up and you know it”

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Argaon laughed as she took both of them to the ground. "Well you have a Demon Soul weapon, and I have only normal weapons, my whit and training. Deadly there gives you quite an edge, plus she talks to you and gives you an extra pair of eyes to see what is coming at you." he looked at the wolf form of deadly, "If she has gotten rusty, I think you have as well. You should have seen that move coming before I even unhooked my whip."
He stood up and as she called it a draw he shugged his shoulders. "I guess we could call it that." he grinned. "And i agree with Deadly, you need to brush up." He squatted down to look at Deadly, "If you can, get her out here and do some training. I know you have your ways to do that."

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Deadly laughed “Oh indeed I do, I can drag her out here a few times, I think we should go to dummies again though, but you forget, she is a lot weaker than Amelia as well because of her illness so I’d say it’s fair actually” she said to him looking to Seclusion, she really was a lot weaker. She only kept herself alive through what she was taught and through Deadly, also she couldn’t eat normal food so she struggled to get the nutrients, she needed but they also knew it was not something that could be cured plus she seemed to be doing well with it.
“and it’s hard not to kill someone when you’re trained to kill” she said “No excuse, now then… you prefer night correct, we’ll come back here later on for some training while the demons aren’t here, that way we can sort out a course for you and I know exactly what I’m planning, also since we are here, do you not think some re-learning of some scythe skills would be nice. More choice in attack and he knows exactly how you train.” The funny thing was she wasn’t referring to another utopian either, she was referring to her old master and Seclusion’s old tutor after her father had died, he also was someone no one liked to get a visit from.
Sighing she settled herself somewhere high up and closed her eyes listening silently to what was around her, thinking carefully. Her old turtor went by many names; Grim Reaper, Angel of Death, Death, he helped her continue her training after her father died before it was finsihed adn taught her how to properly weild Deadly; she was afterall his old weapon.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Deep underground where lava flowed and lit up the underground tunnels and caverns a lone figure sat on what looked to be a stone throne. At his right, leaning on the stone throne was an exact replica of Deadly. He wore a hooded robe that covered his face in darkness. In one hand he held a red crystal gobe and scenes flashed through it at a rapid pace. What was going on above on the surface in the human domains, Angelic's and Demons empires. He could be heard chuckling as he watched a particular sight. "Utopians and Demons together. Interesting. Ahhhhhhh Soul Devouer, look there, is that not Deadly and her new wielder? It seems she has let herself get out of practice since the end of the war."
Soul Devouer transformed into a two headed hell hound that looked at the image. It growled in a deep throated voice. "Deadly as well." it spoke. "How long has it been since you trained her and allowed her to possess the weak clone of myself?"
Death laughed a cold and evil laugh. "I think to long for my student to have gone with out a bit of a refresher course." he rose from his throne and stood a good seven feet tall. "Come we will go forth and see what the outside world looks like once more." He ruffled the fur on one head and then the other of Soul Devouer as he began the accent to the world above.
Back on the field Nick had watched with facination at the two, and listened to what Amelia was saying. "Well I will see that she can find some time. She has alot of time on her hands right now and it will help keep her from being bored.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
“Hmm, I figured that, bet she spends her free time wondering about or reading” said Amelia. Looking up Deadly picked up something and nudged Seclusion a little, “I know, we can only wait I’m afraid, never thought the old teacher would have to give me a ‘refresher course’ as he would call it” she said groaning a little annoyed before she stood up rustling her wings and picking up Deadly. “Also I believe you’re double is here with him” she said. They both waiting in silence as usual and Amelia gulped a little knowing exactly who they were waiting for. “Maybe we should all go inside for a bit, I’d rather not meet her teacher”
When Death finally stood in front of them the pair of them just looked to the hooded figure “Don’t you dare give me the out of practice talk, I’ll get that-” she was cut off noticing the scythe that looked exactly like Deadly. “I see, so that’s why” she said before Deadly nudged her gently “Seclusion show a little respect” she whispered.
“Pleasure to meet you again Death” she said to him, crossing her arms over her chest she knew exactly why he was here and frankly she still dreaded his lessons, worst of all she could tell her was here for a refresher course as well, just her luck. She wished she hadn’t gone out of practice by now as well.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
There was really no where to go except a few tents that had been set up for feeding the soldiers and a large command tent. When the figure appeared almost out of nowhere and in a sulfric cloud of smoke, the demon soldiers moved back. Legends told of five beings, one was called Death. They appeared now and again and when they did, it was not wise to be around or try to attack them. Nick did not go running to hide as the other Utopians or his soldiers. He stood next to Seclusion as the figure approached. He heard what Seclusion and Deadly talked about and kind of grinned.
"So one of the Five beings of legend has taken you under his wing and trained you. Interesting. You will have to tell me about how he selected you one of these day." Nick whipsered to her.
Deaths voice was powerful, "Well now Seclusion I didn't think I would see the day that you stood side by side with a Demon Lord." he had both hands on the long handle of the double bladed scythe, leaning on it a bit. "I will be the judge of what I say about your skill and training, young one. You are still the student, and I the Master." he tapped the bottom of the pole on the ground and the scythe transformed into the two headed hell hound with midnight black fur. He turned his head towards Nick as if studing him.
"And how are you feeling my young student. Last time we were together it seemed there was something wrong with you." he said turing back to her. "But I see that you are a bit preoccupied at the moment. I will let you gather your wits about you and return tonight to give you further instructions." he chuckled
Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
“I don’t even know if I remember that far back” she whispered back before listening to Death “Times change, you should know that better than anyone, should you not?” she asked rustling her wings again and Deadly turned into a hell hound as well and looked to her two headed double. She rolled her eyes a little at what he said about her still being a student and crossed her arms over her chest.
“I’m fine and you know full well it’s not something that can be cured, I won’t die from it either as long as I keep hunting regularly, plus I’ve had since the day I was born in order to adjust to it” she said “and I figured that, why does everyone pick up when I don’t practice for a month or two” she said sounding a little annoyed by it and Deadly laughed and licked her.
When they headed back she had a bath relaxing for a bit cleaning her wings out as well as her hair to get all the dust from them. Soon enough when she had collected her thoughts and Deadly was ready as well after he blades were taken care of after being sharpened since it had been a few months and had most likely dulled she headed back to the training ground and waited perching herself on Deadly in silence waiting and listening around her.
While they waited Deadlybegan to emmit a melody as Seclusion listened to the soothing sound of the music, it calmed her down and prepared her. Rustling ehr wings, they changed form once again blood stained silver feathers lay on her back. Looking up she spotted the dark figure, her eyes peirced the darkness. "Your late" was all she said.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Nick returned to the castle with Seclusion but did not ask about Death. It seemed they went back a ways. He had called her his student, which ment he was grooming her for something. He figured that she would tell him all about it when she was ready. When he returned he left her in their quarters and went to do his daily routine of ruling. He sent word to Drako and the former garrison commander. He wanted to talk to them. He knew Drako would be able to fly to the city in a matter of hours and set aside time to talk to the two of them.
When Draco arrived he brought the two into the throne room and had the doors closed. "As you know by now I have aquired more land, people, soldiers and two large cities." He looked at the former village garrison commander. "You have served me well Tarkus. You have been loyal and even when replaced by Draco here you have done as you have been told." He smiled. "There fore the city of Balis is yours to govern." He looked at the demon intently and sternly, "Fair, but with an iron hand." he told Tarkus. The Demon stood tall and bowed low at the waist.
"My Lord, I live to serve you." he said.
"See that you do. This is a very big step for you, prove to me that you can do this well and rid the city and surrounding area of corruption of its fomer owner. Remember the punishment for failure or falling to the temptation to line your pockets.
Tarkus replied. "I will insure that your laws and will shall be done."
He then turned to Drako, "The smaller city of Farka will be yours to govern. Take your fellow Utopians from Crossroads there and like Tarkus here, rule well and continue to serve me." Then he looked at both of them, "The two of you are now to work together as well." he shifted his gaze at Tarkus. "I know of your dislike for something like this. Consider it a challange to your ability to govern and work with others. I think you will find that Draco will be an astute ally on many matters and you might learn some things from him as well, as he will learn from you."
He could see Tarkus didn't really like the idea but nodded and accepted it. Draco was speachless. He was being given the governorship of an entire city, over thousands of Demons, and humans that did business there. He could only say, "My Lord, I will do my best to prove myself worthy of your trust."
When they left he followed Seclusion to the training field. Well behind her so she would not see him. He landed and entered the command tent. He watched her as she waited for Death to appear. When he did, it was as before. He was just suddenly there and stood before Seclusion. "Late? The Master is never late. He is always on time, for he sets the time. Now shall we begin?"

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
One he had left Draco headed back to Garrison telling his small group of Utopians to be ready to move by morning, they had an elder and child with them, so they couldn’t rush at all. When the morning did came her took off staying at a steady pace so Kana and Samuel could keep up with him, both with a bit of help from the others though since their wings weren’t as strong as the others.
The night before when he had told everyone, they had been thrilled but also knew it was further from the neutral ground as well, in which used to be their hunting grounds. However, their safety here, thier furture was becoming mroe secure.
Once they were at the small city he landed swiftly catching Samuel who was exhausted after such a long flight. “You need to gain some stamina Samuel” he said chuckling a little and smiled at the boy who simply stuck his tongue out at the young male utopian.
They found unoccupied buildings to sort out and live in, they did not want to bother their new allies and knew in time they’d be accepted more easily, but this was not that time so they were careful even they still held caution towards the demons. They knew what even the lower ones could do to the injured and had seen many suffer. Knowing they had to put that aside they simply forgot that fact and focused on preparing a future for the younger ones, in which they would have a stronger network of support at least and a safe shelter. Also the lifespan of many creatures varies, utopians live for many centuries and can live to be as old as demons but that isn’t very common now days.
Looking around he quickly got used to the surrounding area looking at it by standing on tall buildings and memorising the paths before landing and meeting with a few demons trying to understand them more clearly.
Seclusion was unaware of him following her, but did pick up that she was being watch at least when they got there, her gaze wondered a little just beforehand catching something was moving and looking towards the command tent just before her ‘master’, the one thing she would never call him and he knew it, arrived. Deadly turned into a hell hound and greeted him, Seclusion gave a light bow as a sign of respect of sorts. “Aren’t I always ready to start, I wouldn’t come if I didn’t want to begin” she chuckled a little.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
Death chuckled and called Devouer to his hand. He easily handled it with one hand moving the shaft of the weapon about him, before him and above him, the twin blades giving off a whisling sound as they cut through the air. "Well my young student. It seems you have changed your ways a bit. I sence there is more between you and the Demon Lord then just an alliance." he made a sudden move with his scythe at her.
"Then there are the Utopians that are at the village. I see your brother is the garrison commander there. That is a bit strange don't you think? A utopian in charge of demon soldiers. Now who would have thought that possible?
Nick's orders had already been sent to the one overseaing the two cities of the change. The one that Drako replaced was not happy at all. He had been getting quite wealthy off of those that lived in the city and didn't want that to end. Tarkus didn't like the idea that much but he had seen how Draco had govern the village and that he had not abused his authority and had actually won over the village elders and the common demons. Before he went to his city to take control he went to Draco's to help him get situated as Nick had ordered.
When Draco and the others arrived he was met by the former govenor who had grown fat. "Welcome Sire." he was all smiles and fawned all over Draco. His clothing was lavish as was the furnishings of the castle. Nick's castle was not as lavish and he was a Demon Lord. As he welcomed Draco he was having his minions try and move the gold, silver, and other prescious things from the castle. When Tarkus showed up his eyes went wide and he became nervous.
"Your books! Tarkus ordered. He didn't like the looks of the former govenor and the way he was acting. Tarkus could almost smell his fear and knew he was hiding something. "By your leave Draco." Tarkus turned to Draco, "If you will allow me a bit of leeway here." Draco was not sure what was going on but he had picked up the sence of deception from the former govenor and allowed Tarkus to continue.
Tarkus ordered the castle sealed and the soldiers to search everything that was being removed from it. When the report came back, the amount of wealth that had been hidden away was tremendous. It seemed the former govenor had been taxing the citizens way to much and doing other things to make huge profits. That ment that the citizens had suffered greatly.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
She looked to him watching the movements as usual “Unfortunately for you that is not something you need to concern yourself with” she said straitening herself.
“Like I said, Times changed; you should know that better than me. However, we have nowhere else to go so we took what we were given” she said and Deadly turned back into a scythe, no sound was made when the blades cut through the air and Seclusion once more perched herself on Deadly. “Well are we going to start or are you just going to question me all night?” she asked waiting in silence for instructions. When she was finally given instructions from him she followed them through with ease, remembering the very basics she was taught long ago.
Draco looked to the former governor, he wasn’t impressed “Isn’t a governor supposed to think about what’s best for his people, not for himself?” he asked crossing his arms over his chest “such deception has put your people in such a state, do you have no regrets. Also maybe we should take off all the things you bought with your profit, leaving you with the bare minim and that way we can restore this place before it becomes ruins and help its people.” He said, he was angry at him, furious.
“Tarkus, give me a hand to pick what we take back from him, to me he deserves to be stripped of everything, but I feel that would only be a little bit cruel, so I need you to help me with a bit of restraint” he said beginning to sort through the things

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
"Ah but you are wrong my young student. It does concern men. Do you think I would have bothered myself with you if what you do didn't." He continued his training of her, many times if he had wanted to he could have killed her. He had thousands upon thousands of years experience with his scythe. Seclusions' was but a drop in the bucket of time. After awhile. "You see with but a few hours of practice you have become your old self again. Now tell me of this Demon Lord that has taken you and your kind in. "
Tarkus grinned when Draco asked him for help. It was not for him to punish the former govenor, that was something Nichodemus would do since the former govenor was a Demon of importance. "Might I suggest," he said, "we strip him of everything. For I beleive Lord Nickodemus will be wanting to put him on trial and for what he has done here I do not think he will need anything."
The Former Govenor was shaking by now. He had hoped to escape with his loot and then somehow regain his position. When the accounting books came the demon in charge of keeping them handed over two sets. On was for showing a fair and modest taxation, while the other showed the true state of affairs. "I do believe he does indeed need to be sent as a prisoner to Lord Nickodemous." Tarkus said a growl in his voice at what the other Demon had done. Power was one thing, but this was too much. Tarkus wanted power and prestige and he had gotten just that, but through loyal service and hard work. It didn't mean he needed to live laviously, not like the Demon standing before him quaking in his shoes now.
"What will you do with all of this?" he asked Draco.

Re: Never Surrender (Open, could be mature)
She gave a sigh and settled herself on Deadly’s top blade again, it really was a habit of hers by now. Folding her wings she looked to him “Hmm, I wonder about that, you still might’ve bothered, you did go there looking for a student after all” she said. “Seclusion…” said Deadly and she shook her head. “Well, Lord Nickodemus appears to rule fairly, from what I’ve seen he also gained a lot of power recently, but at least he isn’t engulfed by greed” she said “He most likely made the offer because one of the spies we sent to a meeting beforehand said we were talented fighters, also it would get him closer to his aim of becoming the next king. But, it’s better than not having a home… hmmm, seems it’s a hard matter to talk about” she said she still locked away many secrets from him though, things she had given her word not to tell anyone about.
“Hmm, we might be able to trade it with nearby Demons for money, we can use that to try and help those that are at the lowest so they at least have the basics if anything, then we can slowly rebuild it, nothing too sudden but nothing too slow.” He said and looked to the former governor “Hmm indeed that seems proper. At times like these I wish my sister was here, those threads of hers are handy if anything but annoying” he chuckled before he sent a message of warning beforehand, we should both take him there, he might try something on the way and if one of us gets hurt then the other can help or complete what we were doing” he said thinking logically but also ahead, I’ll ask a demon and utopian to go, might be best to see what there is and things that can be used to help others as they are will not be traded but given to the people” he said, the blood in him showing clearly, they really were leaders that cared dearly for those they had to govern or protect as his sister put it.

"Well now, if he succeeds in his bid for the ultimate position of power, it sounds as if there will be fewer souls that will be needing to be redirected." He chuckled. "Me thinks though you like this one as well and not just for what he has done to help your kind." He looked towards the command tent. "And that he has more intrest in you then jus being a slave girl. He watches you, ready to protect you it seems." His scythe turned into the two headed hell hound as he began to walk off a bit. "I'll be watching." he said before the two of them disapeared in a yellow cloud of sulfer.
Tarkus motioned for guards to take the former govenor away to a cell as others continued to bring in chests of gold, silver, gems and other things. He turned to the book keeper. "The ledgers that reflect what each citizen paid in taxes!' The man nodded and signaled his assistance to bring in the large ledgers and placed them on a table. "Again my 'friend'." the word felt strange on his toung as he looked at Draco. But it did not have the sour taste he thought it would. "If I may suggest." he looked at the ledgers and flipped through the pages. "We can not give it all back to the people but a fair amount to each should be made and most of the rest put into the funding of what needs to be done to put the city in order. Representatives of the people need to be brought in to tell you what is needed and go from there. But first and most importantly, refunding some to the people so their livelyhood is brought back up."

Listening she raised an eyebrow and leaned back a little “Possibly, doesn’t that make your job easier though?” she asked “Not that you mind of course” she said and raised an eyebrow “I don’t believe I told you any of that, No soul reading Death” she growled a little, not very pleased about it. “But maybe, that also explains why I feel like someone has been watching us from the command tent, I might not have noticed it at first but, he isn’t exactly very stealthy” she laughed before he vanished and jumped down from Deadly before she turned back and followed her to the command tent and raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. “So what are you doing here Nick?”
“That does seem more reasonable, perfect. If we can rebuild a few buildings we’ll be able to give shelter to the families at least.” He said still thinking it over. “We can also use the lodgers to show the Lord as well. When we get back I can listen to them all, I did a brief scan over the area as well so I roughly know what needs to be done but it’ll be better to hear it from their point of view. We should sort this out swiftly, it’s best to get It over and done with, maybe he’ll end up living how they have been because of him” he chuckled before he sorted few some of the things and shook his head disgusted, How can someone treat their own people in such a way, it’s disgraceful
