He just stared at her while she explained it to him the best she could.. Husband?... mate?. To say he was shocked was an understatement. turning forwad he turned the car on but before heading home, he made sure they where both buckled in.

Once on the road, he relaxed a bit more, the thought still running through his head before he reached over to take her hand, intwining his figners with hers. " Well.. you certainly explained that very well. . you basically just told me i got married without a ceremony. " He glanced at her, giving her a small smile. " I am not rejecting you Ryumi. .Granted.. this is a giant surprise and... well I know its going to take some time for me to get used to it. but.. to be honest. .. I think i like the idea of being yours. " It was the truth, he knew that much. He even got the feeling this meant she would never leave him even if he got her freed of her slave status.

That alone had him completely relaxed, and not worried. "I am beggining to like surprises from you. "

She looked at him unsure what to say at first. She says, "It is not something my kind can control. It is sort of an instinct thing. But I won't let you down as your wife. I think that is the word your kind use." She strokes his neck. She was being honest with him. Once a neko feels the pull, it is hard for them to fight it so they can have a normal relationship.

He flushed as another surge of energy went through him when she messed with the mark on his neck again. He really liked that " it is.. ummm Ryumi.. don't do that.... atleast not while I am driving. Would like to get home safely. " He gave her a small smile. " your uhh making me twitch. "

She looks at him moment as she watched his reaction to her touching the mark. "Sorry it's just so fun watching you go bonkers. Now you know how I have been feeling since I met you." She had to admit that it was so much fun watching him squirm. She put her hand down away from his neck so she would leave him alone. At least until they got home.

He laughed softly as he brought her hand out to place a gentle kiss to it. " Is that so ?. I think driving me bonkers is one of your favorite things. " he teased. looking to her. He was feeling pretty good as he continued to drive home.

His good feeling was dissappearing though the moment he saw the different car in the driveway. Giving an inward groan. What the hell was that woman doing at his house now?...sighing as he parked, he got out then went to Ryumi's side of the car and opened the door for her, holding his hand out. " Once inside, why don't you go up to the room with the food?. "

Ryumi could tell something was wrong when they got home. He was instantly tense as soon as he saw the other car in the driveway. Could it be an ex girlfriend of his? She took his hand when he helped her out of the car. She took the bags like he said and went to the room. But her smell sensitive nose could pick up the smell of another woman's perfume. They were not alone and thatmade her worry a bit.

When he got inside and watched her go up the stairs he glanced at the housekeeper. " Where is she?" he al but growled out, definitely not happy about it.

The housekeeper jumped and swallowed slightly ." in.. in the study sir .. I am terribly sorry I tried to tell her to leave but she refused. "

He held up his hand to get her to stop talking before shaking his head. " Beverly its fine. Go up stairs and see to it that Ryumi has everything she needs." He had turned immediately towards the study and stalked towards it.

the woman nodded and quickly headed up the stairs and spotted Ryumi. " Miss Ryumi. you must be tired, master of the house wants me to make sure you have everything. Can I get you something?"

He flung the study doors open, his gaze immediately going straight to the red head sitting at his desk. " Vivian.. why the hell are you here at this time of the night?"

The woman looked up , all smiles and what not as she got up. " aw come on now. that any way to great me?. " she got up and headed over to him, her gaze zeroing in on his neck with the markings. " my my. get some tattoos?." she murmured, reaching up to touch them but he stopped her hand immediately, which had her looking up at him curiously " come now, can't I come and visit my dear former fiancee?"

He gave a snort as he shoved her hand away, grinding his teeth a bit as he moved away from her and headed straight towards his desk to make sure she hadn't rifled with anything." not this late no. what do you want?" he sure hoped Ryumi was in the room. he really didn't want her seeing him like this.

She waited upstairs but grew more impatient as the housekeeper came instead of him. "Beverly what is going on? Who is the guest of the evening? And please don't lie to me. I know it is a woman because of the smell in the air." She tensed up as she sensed that the woman was going to try and touch the mark she left on him. That was the big no no. She took off her shoes and walk down to where he was not giving Beverly time to intervene. Then she saw the the goofy redhead. She stood by Aiden's side. "Who is this woman Aiden?"

He turned around fast when he heard Ryumi. eyes going wide." Ryumi why are you not upstairs? Damn it Beverly !" he all but hollered, watching the house keeper skitter in. He narrowed his eyes, but quickly reined in his anger. " Your dismissed for the night Beverly. I will see you in the morning. " He was not going to take his anger out on the help. Nope. not going to happen, the woman was too nice to him and didn't deserve it. so when she left, he raked his hand through his hair and looked to ryumi again. " thought you where going to wait for me upstairs ?"

The woman frowned as she glared at Ryumi. " Yes Aiden.. who is this?" she eyed the neko before spotting the collar. " You have a slave? since when?"

Aiden groaned but glared at Vivan " don't you start that vivian. I will not answer your question because it is NONE. of your business. " women.. they where going to drive him insane. both of them. ignoring the look Vivian was giving him.He turned reached for "Ryumi, pulling her closer and tucking her under his shoulder as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. " Should have waited upstairs for me shatzi. " he murmured " to answer your question Ryumi ..that is Vivian.. former fiancee. " He muttered. looking to vivian then back at Ryumi. " she broke it off months ago. so don't ask me why she is here now because i do not know. " damn he wanted a drink..

Ryumi looks at him with a sorry look in her eyes. "I was going to wait upstairs but I got worried considering I didn't know the scent of the person who is here. It's a territorial thing. Plus she was going to touch the mark." She looked at Vivian. She says her voice sounding ice cold and deadly with all seriousness, "This is private property you need to leave or I will make you leave. You're no longer welcome in this residence." Her nails turned into claws ready to make her threats clear to this woman.

He frowned before tightening his hold on her and taking a hold of her hands, rubbing the back of them lightly ." no need for that, I do not want any fighting. not with you and her." he reached up to take her chin and get her to look right at him. " understand? no fighting. I understand its territorial. She won't touch me again I promise. ok?" he lightly brushed her cheek with his fingers before looking to Vivian. " what ever it is. it will wait till morning. Yes?" his tone was harsh with Vivian, he wanted her out, so he could salvage the rest of the night.

Vivian narrowed her eyes before pulling out an envelope, walked over, placed it on his desk. " Not really but have it your way. legal papers darling. I want my share of the company. " she smirked before looking to Ryumi." won't have him forever little cat. " with that she ignored the neko and headed out the door, waving off the butler as she got the door herself and left with a slam of the door.

Aiden blinked and frowned, looking down at the envelope. What the hell?... he was confused as he sat down, giving Ryumi's hands a gentle tug to get her to sit on his lap even as he reached for the thing. He didn't remember signing over any part of the company to vivian. " the fates have it out for me I think " he muttered.Ripping the thing open and pulled the papers out to read. Sure enough though his signature was at the bottom of one of them.

She looked over the papers with him complying with what he wanted her to do. He did sign his signature at the bottom of the papers. Although it was a lot messier than his usual signature. She looked over the papers more closely and she can find several loopholes that could help him get out of it. But not all the way. She called one of her own connections and faxed over the paperwork so they would have a copy to look over and get back to her about it. Then she made him get up and have dinner with her to get his mind off it. She would not have this night ruined because of his ex.

Once again Ryumi surprised him, she took control easily , made calls, did the faxing, but even he knew he wasn't fully out of it. though he got the feeling he may have been drunk when he signed those papers. When she had pulled at him and got him to have dinner, he willingly went, following her upstairs and into the room , inhaling the aroma of the spaghetti with garlic bread.

Kicking his shoes off, then his jacket to hang up before going over to the table with her and sitting down. Relaxing as he began to eat. watching her. " Sorry about that Ryumi... didn't want you to witness any of that."

She smiled at him and poured some wine knowing full well that they both needed it. She says, "It's no big deal we all have baggage. Yours just follows you home from time to time." She ate beside him. "I have made a few connections of my own over the years. And we also live in a state that recognizes mate markings as binding as human marriage. So that is on our side as well. I just want my comrades to look it over to make sure I am reading it correctly. After they give a feedback, then we can work something out."

He took a sip of the wine, closing his eyes then got a bit of the bread to dip in the sauce . " I know. thought I was done with her.." He grimaced" didn't think I would see her again. " considering she had hurt him pretty damn good. Shaking his head to shake away the image, he took a few more bites before looking to her. " you are amazing. what would I have done with out you ?"

Ryumi looks at him taking in the data of what he was saying and feeling. "That was the woman who hurt you..." She ate what she wanted of the food and cuddled up to him. She purrs against his neck. She says, "Vivian will not be able to toy with you much longer. You two didn't get married so she doesn't have such a big claim to the company." She kisses him softly. "Don't worry. With me by your side and us working together, we can make it through anything."

He grunted and gave a nod, trying not to remember the night him and vivian broke up. He shifted slightly and placed his arma round her as she curled into him. " Yes.. that was her. " he grumbled, finishing his meal and setting his fork down, done with it as he kissed her back before reaching for his glass of wine and polished it off. " hopefully."

Ryumi looks at him a little confused about what to do for him. She strokes his neck on the marks to cause him pleasure and make him focus on something positive. She says softly, "Come forget about the bad for now. We have not exactly gotten to celebrate. Technically we are married now." She kisses his neck softly.

She continued to touch the marks on his neck knowing they would cause him pleasure. She says to him as she gets close close to him, "Do you know why this causes you such delight? It is because our energy is merged into one energy through the marks. So if you and I were ever apart, we could still feel each other. It is a permanent bond between two people nothing can destroy it."

He was trying his best not to squirm as she continued to touch the marks. He paid close attention to what she was saying though, considering it was something he didn't know about." really ? . that is very interesting. I like that " He mumbled, running his hands over her sides, smiling when he saw the similar marks on her neck and couldn't help himself as he reached up to lightly touch them on her. " so.. if i touch these, is it a similar reaction to what mine are doing?"

Ryumi shivered some as he touched her marks. “Yes it is quite similar to what you are feeling my love. Maybe I feel it a little stronger because of my senses.” She kisses him and strokes his chest. “It’s like a lustful fire is lit in the blood. It spreads throughout the body making every sensitive more noticeable.” She liked being able to share her kind’s ways with him. It was not very often she could be honest with someone like this.

" he looked up at her, paying close attention to what she was saying as he nuzzled and then kissed the mark on her neck. " To feel like that has been a long time. but i think you are bringing it out in me. not as powerful as you feel it, but enough to drive me nuts. "

Ryumi giggles softly holding back moans as he stroked her neck. She says, “Well maybe I can rekindle I can your heart so that this flame stays in your heart to that all broken flames are forgotten.” She lies beside him and slowly removes her dress. “I won’t hurt you in any way Aiden, Do not keep your guard up any more. You no longer need them.”

He leaned up and watched her, half closing his eyes as he shifted a little and worked his shirt off. " i know you won't, its just .. hard to let the guards down. " he murmurred, reaching over to help her with her dress before giving her a soft kiss. " Think you will be the one to get it down though. kinda scares me. "he had to admit it, but he was still willing, he wouldn't let fear beat him down.
