Keath laughed as he cooked. He looked over to her. He wanted to take off his shirt. His cloak and such was already off, but he wanted to be able to feel her skin on his. "Well, I have to learn, I lived on my own for so long, if I didn't know how to fend for myself, I would starve." he said. Soon the meat was heated up, it smelled good. He got out a few dishes and put them on the plate. He then took out a bottle of wine and poured each a glass. "I figure we can have a little reward for tonight." he said sitting down next to her.

Shifting until she was sitting up, she slid over until she was perched on his lap, finally reaching out and taking her glass of wine and her plate. Leaning back into him, she turned her head and pressed her lips to his before taking a brief sip of her wine. "Mmm, red wine. I would say Château Pétrus, aged fifty years," she asked him, an eyebrow raised, "I must add good taste to the list of your good traits." Reaching down into her boot, she pulled out her long bootknife and cutting off a small strip of her meat. Placing the meat into her face, she offered him her knife, hilt-first. It was her favorite and most trusty knife, this would be the first time someone was willingly given the blade.

It was one of the times, he wished that he actually kept some sort of cutlery in this hideout. He took the knife and gut off a piece for him, eating it. He looked at her. "I stole that wine a while ago. From a wine cellar. Easy to find in rich peoples homes, they often don't even realize a bottle is gone until it is way too late. Even so they think nothing of it. Unless it is very rare wine." he said. He handed the knife back to her. "So, think this will work? I'm out of meat besides this." he said.

Smiling, she took her knife back, carefully cutting another piece off. She perched the knife on her thigh, where he could easily reach it. "This will do wonderfully," she said, inwardly, she was skeptical, "And this wine is a very rare, very expensive venue. As I said, good taste." She took another sip of the heady wine, feeling it coursing through her rapidly. She was a lightweight drunk, and she knew it. The contents of her glass was enough to make her do something irrational, or pass out. Grabbing the cut piece of meat, she carefully lifted it to her lips and nibbled on it, quickly chewing and swallowing.

Keath smiled seeing her as she ate and drank with him. He joined her, he could handle drinking fairly well... "I know, this was when I made an exception... I was in a cellar and I couldn't help myself. The area around it was completely dusty, I was wondering if the man even knew about it. But well... it is mine now." he said. He ate the rest of his meat fairly slowly, enjoying it, it wasn't often he got stuff like that. He looked to her and finished his glass. The wine tasted wonderful. A perfect reward for a job well done

She polished off her meat, not even realizing how hungry she had been. Setting her plate off to the side, she held her glass of wine in her hand and stared at it for a few moments. Swirling the red liquid in the glass as she leaned her head on his shoulder, she quickly tossed the liquid back, finishing her glass. She sat there for several moments, holding her empty glass and leaning upon him. She watched disconcernedly as the room spun slightly, recognizing the effects of the alchohol.

As she leaned on him, Keath smiled setting his glass on the ground. He put an arm around her. "How are you feeling?" he asked. She looked like she was a bit buzzed... how? She must not be good at handling alcohol. He looked to her... he knew her mind would still be her own for the most part now... maybe it would help her relax a bit and take her mind off of her wounds.

[Bmare]

When his arm slipped around her, she almost fell asleep, but his inquiry brought her back from the brink. "Truthfully," she said, her eyes drifting shut, as her hand relaxed around her empty wine glass, "Tired. In pain. Safe. Drunk. Take your pick." She snuggled into his neck, one of her arms drifting around his waist as her fought to keep hold of her wine glass as she yawned widely.

He watched as she yawned widely. He got a good view of her fangs. How long they had gotten. He wondered if the meat would satisfy her. But she looked tired. He took the glass from her and set it down. "You look tired... lets get you to sleep." he said. "The sun is raising soon. so we should get some sleep tonight." he said kissing her. He carefully laid her down. He turned out the lights, he was still able to see well enough. He pulled back the covers and helped her under, He climbed under as well. He moved close to her. "Rest..." he said to her. Looking at what he could see of her beautiful face.

Scooting closer to him, she laid her head on his shoulder, placing an arm over his stomach. "There's no rest for the wicked," she quoted, tightening her arms around him, looking up at his face, "You aren't the least bit afraid of me." She stated that as a fact, her eyebrows knitting together, "Even when I am wounded, which is a dangerous thing in itself," she said, wrapping one of her legs around his.

"I couldn't ever be afraid of you..." he said lovingly. "I was maybe a bit when we first met... but that was when I thought you wanted to kill me." he said. He felt her arms tightening around him. "How are you dangerous when you are wounded... I... don't understand." he said. He thought that she wouldn't be a threat like this, hurt.

[Bmare]

She looked up at him and stared for several minutes before sighing, looking away as she rested her head against his chest. She fought the hold of the wine for a moment, drawing up her courage. He would surely leave once he heard. "Have you ever seen, or heard of a wounded vampyre," she asked quietly, staring at the wall, her head resting against him, "In short, vampyres go into bloodlust, killing anything that moves. It's like that with me, only tempered by my human blood. All it takes for me to become like...that is a slip of a knife. A knick of someone's finger. I smell blood that doesn't belong to me, I lose it. Completely. It scares me." She buried her face into his chest and fought the feeling of sleep, worrying about what he would do.

Keath looked down at her, listening going into a bloodlust... would she? Could she hurt him like that? He felt a bit worried, but she looked somewhat scared as well. He seen her face practically buried in his chest... he put his arms around her, holding her tight. Yes... she could kill him if she wanted to... but... "Listen... is there anyway to prevent this?" he asked. "I'm not going to leave you now. But... maybe I can help." he offered.

[Bmare]

She looked up at him, surprised, her eyes searching his to judge his truthfulness. Swallowing slightly, she laid her head back on his shoulder, drawing strength from him. "I know of no way to prevent it," she said, holding him tight, "Except being careful for the next few days. Don't cut yourself, but if you happen to. Get out. Run as far and fast as you can. I'll be gone to the world, a danger. Sunlight will stop it, it's the only thing." She knew how dangerous she became, it has happened to her before. She was frankly surprised that it didn't happen in the manor, being wounded, and Darune's blood nearby, a question for another day.

Keath held her, looking up. He looked down at her. "What... if you got some blood in you?" he asked. "And... how long does your blood lust last if... if you was to catch it's scent?" he asked. He was worried for her... moreso than for himself.

[Bmare]

She didn't look up at him, continuing to stare at the wall instead. "If I got some blood into me," she repeated calmly, "I would drain that person dry." She slid her hand over his chest, staring, fascinated by the simple touch. "My bloodlust lasts until I am stopped," she said, looking at him, "Which is why you need to run if it ever happens. Get outside, and keep me there until sunrise. The sun will stop me, it always has." As far as she knew, the sun was the only thing that could (save for getting a full-blooded vampire's help), the weakness of her blood.

"Won't... that hurt you?" he asked, feeling her hand on him. "I couldn't... I couldn't do that. I couldn't hurt you." he said. "Even if you went into bloodlust... I couldn't..." he said. He stroked her. He wanted to help her so badly.

[Bmare]

She looked up him sharply, her eyes boring into his. "Promise me, Keath," she said firmly, "Promise me you will get me outside. Yes, it will hurt me a little, and make me sick, but I wouldn't have many needless deaths on my mind. Promise me." She looked at him, her eyes searching his, worried that he wouldn't make the promise.

Keath looked down at her. He... had to promise... if she was sick, maybe he could take care of her that way. "I... I promise, if you go into blood lust, I will bring you outside and... then I will make another promise... when you are sick. I will take care of you." he said. "I... don't want you to be hurt."

[Bmare]

Sighing in relief, she laid her head on his shoulder again. "Thank you," she said with relief, sliding her hand across his chest, "I can handle you taking care of me while I'm sick." She tightened her grip on him once again, sliding her leg up and down the inside of his thigh. She kissed his chest briefly before relaxing once again.

All of her touching made him feel a bit excited, but he knew that she was hurt still. He kissed her head lightly. "Don't mention it... with any luck we won't have to worry about it... hopefully you will recover quickly." he said with a smile. "Just be careful... don't do anything too strenuous." he said. He didn't want her to tear the wound open at all.

[Bmare]

Reaching up, she slid her hand along his chest, looking up at him again. "Strenuous? Me," she asked, smiling slightly, one eyebrow raising, "I would never...okay, maybe I would, but that's not the point." She leaned up, pressing a kiss to his forehead, then his nose, cheek, and finally the corner of his mouth. Drawing back, she smiled again, perching her chin on his shoulder as she watched him.

Keath looked to her and smiled, enjoying her attention. He began to stroke the back of her head before moving his hands down his body, being careful to avoid her wounds. He then smiled a bit as his hands moved to her backside. and rested there. "Well... I know it will be tough, but still, take it easy, we should stay here for a few days, I can go out and get food for us at night... but other than that, we will need to stay low... I am sure we are being looked for right now." He said looking fondly down at her.

Leaning up, she pressed her mouth to his, her hand sliding from his chest to his hair. She felt his hands come to rest on her ass, making her smile against his mouth. "I'll try," she whispered against his lips. Leaning forward, she kissed him again, her other hand sliding down his chest to the front of his pants, sliding down over the smooth leather and rubbing the bulge there.

Feeling an odd rubbing there, he didn't need to guess what was happening. He made a small noise of pleasure as the bulge twitched slightly. He was getting a bit more excited. He gripped her ass slightly, kissing her deeply. "Hmm..." he said looking at her. "I think I am a bit overdressed..." he said coyly.
