As he pulled away slightly, she reached above her head and stretched languidly before smiling at him again, her fangs still elongated. "Yes, they do that," she said softly, blinking slowly as she regained control of her breathing, "You're lucky you didn't get bit." She clacked her teeth together, curling her lips away in a broader smile. Sliding her arms beneath her, she propped herself up on an elbow, while the other slid into his hair, playing with the golden strands as she blinked slowly once again. "Wonderful...yes," she agreed simply, leaning forward slightly to kiss him again, "Utterly fantastic."

Keath watched her smile, how long those teeth were. He kissed her eagerly once more. Enjoying the closeness between them. "I wouldn't have mind." he said with a small laugh. "I probably wouldn't have noticed. I was so lost in pleasure with you." he said kissing her once more, feeling her hand running through his hair.

She gently nibbled on his lower lip, smiling against his mouth as she continued to slide her fingers through his hair. She softly traced her fingers from his hair, to his jawline, then down his neck to his collarbone and over to his shoulder, which she gently massaged with ha circular rubbing motion. Hesitating slightly, she placed her knee between his and draped herself over him, folding her hands atop his chest, she propped her chin on her hands and looked at him, a small smile residing upon her features. She laid her head against his chest and listened to his steady heartbeat, her hand drawing little designs on his chest. Her hand continued its stroking movement on his chest as she closed her eyes, listening to his heartbeat, enjoying the steady thuh, thump it made, the sound she felt his arms brushing the scarring on her back, and was surprised to find she wasn't defensive of them. She was rather relaxed by his contact with them, unlike the killing rage she sometimes went into when they were commented on. She enjoyed it as his hand drifted through her hair, smiling against his chest in contentment.

Caressing her, thankful for her, his heart beat steady, his body relaxed, just enjoying the moment with her. He didn't want to even think of anything bad now... just her, his mind focused only on her at his chest, her listening to his heart as it pumped a constant force. His hand stroked her, feeling around her scars, they didn't worry him, cause him any concern... it was a part of her, like his were. His eyes closed softly.

Her movements lessened and lessened as sleep slowly overcame her. Burying her face into his chest, she relaxed and allowed her eyes to drift closed, only to remain that way as Morpheus slowly descended into her mind. If only she was like her undead bretheren, then she wouldn't need to sleep, she would just remain here, staring at him as he too descended into Morpheus' gentle caress.

Sleeping through the hot days were normal for him, he often only operated at night unless there was special circumstances. With a small sigh, he relinquished his consciousness and faded into sleep. With her near him, it was restful, wonderful, deep. He felt safe with her, like he could finally trust someone... he wanted to keep her safe, though he knew that if it ever came down to it, he was more likely to be hurt than her. Still, he didn't let it bother him, he just slept peacefully.

Sunset

Waking after several hours of restful sleep, easily the longest and best sleep of her life, Kaia yawned and lifted her head from his chest. She was overcome with a feeling of confusion, before their earlier actions came back to her. Smiling softly, she looked down upon his sleeping face, peaceful in his resting state. Reaching a hand up, she stroked the side of his face before sliding up his bare body and pressing a soft, gentle kiss to his lips, her fingers finding their way into his hair, easily her new favorite thing to do. "Keath," she whispered as she drew back, her breath ghosting over his lips, "Keath, wake up."

Keath's eyes slowly started to open, feeling a soft caress on his cheek. He had slept so wonderfully that night... so peacefully. He looked down at her lovingly. Sunset couldn't reach the basement hideout... but Keath knew that the sun was already starting to set. Both of them were creatures of the night in a way it seemed. He smiled warmly. Keath rolled over onto his side to watch her as she stretched. He sighed, taking in her beautiful body. How it curved, how graceful she moved. He wanted to tackle her right then and take her once more... but he calmed himself down. He stood up as well and started to collect his clothes as well. Grabbing her boots, she carefully stepped into them, picking up her bootknife from the floor as she did so. Sliding it into her boot, she turned to look at him, her expression enigmatic. Smiling at his awkwardness, she crossed the room to stand before him, gently grabbing his face between two cool, long-fingered hands. She looked into his eyes before pulling his face down to hers as she kissed him again, her arms wrapping around his neck as she did so. Drawing back, she smiled at the look on his face, "Yes, I do believe we can," she said, her fingers finding his soft hair and knitting into it, the short strands slipping through her fingers smoothly, "I would enjoy it."

"I have never felt this close with anyone," she admitted, resting her forehead against his chest, "And it quite frankly scares me. I have never felt this way before." Her hands slid down his back, stroking the muscles located there.
