Burying her face in his chest, she slowly slid her hands up his back to wrap firmly around his waist, holding him to her. "Good," she said, her face still muffled by his shirt, "Because I wouldn't let you go now. I feel safe here, with you, and dare I say it, like a normal warm-blooded human being." She smiled at him before tightening her grip on his waist.

Feeling her face, her voice against his chest, he smiled, It tickled a bit when she talked. Her ever tightening grip on his waist made him feel warm and wanted. He loved it. "I'm glad to hear that." he said, kissing her lightly. "I wouldn't want you to leave me..." he said. "Be careful tonight... now that I have you... I don't know what I would do with myself if I were ever to lose you." he said.

She leaned back, smiling coyly at him. "I'm always careful," she said with a smirk, "Those other people just get lucky sometimes." She stepped back, her hands sliding around to his hips, her fingers hooking into the lip of his pants. She cocked her head to the side, looking at him, tugging on the waistband of his pants idly. Taking one step forward, she stretched up and kissed him again, fully enjoying that very action.

Feeling the light tug on his pants, her sweet kiss. He deepened the kiss fully, wanting her once more. "Same... but I will make sure that I am not seen... I want him to realize how poor he really is before he dies..." he said. "He has nobody to stand by him... nobody when all his possessions are gone..." he said. "Things that he has stolen from innocent people. I want those who actually deserve these things to have them..." he said. His arms around her, playing with her hair lightly. His hands worked down once more towards her backside, squeezing slightly. "At least though... I have you." he said kissing her again.

She smiled, her hand sliding up his neck, her pale blue eyes shining. "Mmm, Sounds good," she said, closing her eyes as she brushed his lips with hers. She felt his hands slide down her back to her ass, and she sighed pitifully, jutting her lower lip out. "We should go," she whispered against his mouth, "Many important things to do. Which I would much rather skip in favor of staying here. But he would hunt us, and he would find us, even if he had to destroy the city to do so."

"Right..." He said reluctantly letting her go. "I'll go in first once we arrive... I will steal from him, right under his nose." he said suiting up, getting on a jet black robe. "I would rather stay here with you too love... but this all ends tonight... we can be together soon... right after we take care of some ugly business."

She stepped away from him, smiling slightly before turning her back and walking over to her black trenchcoat. Pulling it on, she shrugged her shoulders feeling the heavy material settle around her. She carefully grabbed her belt and slung it around her hips, tightening it down and twisting it so the skull piece rested in the front. Grabbing her katana, she spun the sheathed blade a couple of times in her hand before grabbing the hilt and pulling it out, exposing a good foot of gleaming steel. Satisfied with her inspection, she jammed it back into its sheath before spinning it and slipping it down into the custom holder in the back of her coat. Turning to look at him, she sauntered over, feeling indestructible with her weapons once again on her person. "I will follow you in," she said, her eyes flicking up to meet his, "And I will go straight for Darune. The man is a snake, he wouldn't hestitate to run as soon as an alarm is raised."

Keath laughed. "You underestimate me... there will be no alarm. All they will see is a bunch of items missing and the guards will wake up with headaches." he said taking out his sap. He looked her up and down. She looked great, deadly, reminding him of who he actually was with... what she was capable of. He still thought no less of her. "I might not be as strong, but they never see me coming." he said confidently.

She smiled, appearing feral as she did so. "Of that I have no doubt," she said, "But he has an acute danger sense." She ran her hands up his chest, smoothing out his robe, her face expressionless. Her hands worked their way to his shoulders, where she smoothed out the fabric there. Looking up into his eyes, she reached up and smoothed his hair slightly. "You'll be careful, right," she asked in a momentary instant of what she tended to call weakness, quickly covering it up. Standing on her tiptoes, she pressed her lips to his, her hand sliding behind his head and burying itself into his hair as she arched against him.

Keath kissed her deeply feeling her hand running through his hair. He wanted once more to simply have her to himself. He broke off the kiss reluctantly. "I'll be alright" he said remaining close. "I'll be extra careful. After it is done we can meet back here... if you think you are being followed, tell me, I have another place we can go." he said.

She rolled her eyes slightly, trailing her fingertips down his neck, as she licked her lips. "You're assuming someone will be able to follow me," she said in a purring voice, "Naughty, naughty. You should know better than that. I am not called 'The Shadow' for nothing, Keath. No matter if it is a terrible nickname, far too inelegant for a female." Sliding her hands from his chest, she looked up at him, her features quickly becoming void of all emotion. "We should go," she whispered, her voice going hard as she prepared herself for tonights activities, "Wouldn't want to run out of time."

Keath was happing with the flirtatious version of her, he sighed when she became cold... a noticeable difference. "Don't worry, I trust you." he said with a smile. "And you are right, we need to hurry." he said. He slid a small dagger in his belt... just in case. He started up the stairs. He was getting ready mentally. He went cold as well... he needed to focus on his job for now.

She followed him up the stairs, her own heavy boots making a slight whisper over the wood. As they emerged into the dark street, her eyes immediately darted to the horizon, judging how long it would be until moonrise. Until then, it would be all too easy to sneak through the city. Even if Darune sent out search teams already. It was a large city, and they were small teams.

Keath's soft shoes padded without a sound onto the stairs. Once outside he figured that Darune would be on high alert... finally a challenge. "I would be best if we split up for this." he said. "I don't want to weight you down." he said. "I will see you soon... once this night is over." he said moving away quickly... if he didn't do it then, he wouldn't have ever moved from her side. He didn't want to.

"Good luck," she said to him when he was several steps away. Her eyes gleamed brightly in the almost nonexistent light as she looked at him. She visibly had to hold herself back from going to him, wanting to bury her fingers into his hair and stay in his arms forever. Smiling slightly, she bowed her head before looking back into his eyes.

Keath padded off silently into the night, slipping past all the watches to the manor of Lord Darune. He seen an open window on the second floor. He managed to climb up quickly and silently, nobody had seen him. He looked about, hardly any shadows in the hallway. He was right, Darune had become paranoid. Knowing the most extravagant was found within Darune's room, he made his way through the halls, sneaking upon a guard and bashing him in the back of the head, knocking the man out. Dragging him out of sight he continued on.

Watching him vanish from sight, she quickly darted to Darune's manor, slowing only to pass through crowded streets. Approaching the manor, she spotted an opened second story window, but decided that was too easy. Scaling the side of the manor, she flipped herself onto the roof. Sneaking toward the chimney, she quickly stuck her hand over the top. Feeling no heat, she levered herself up and then lowered herself through the large opening. Sliding down, she came to a stop in the fireplace of his 'throne room,' near her usual shadowed corner. The lights were out, leaving the room shrouded in darkness. Smiling to herself, she slipped from the fireplace and drew her dagger from her belt. Opening one of the large doors, she peered into the well-lit passageway. "At least he got smart," she muttered to herself, slipping from the room. Walking down the corridor, she rounded the corner, and quickly ducked back. Peeking again, she spotted the guard walking away from her, his sword resting upon his shoulder. Creeping up behind him, she grabbed his chin and roughly plunged the dagger into the side of his neck, dragging the corpse into a closet and dumping it there. Turning, she knew Darune was probably 'entertaining' a maid in his private chambers, and she made her way toward the appropriate room.

Keath moved silently, luckily he got smart... this was way too easy so far... minimal guards... an open window... He moved more cautiously. He seen it ahead... behind a doorway two men... waiting for him. Darune must have sent them out, They were watching him, he acted as if he didn't see anything moving closer to the doorway that would have been his doom. Suddenly, he took out a small pellet, throwing it to the floor he covered his eyes as a bright flash went off, blinding the men. He went forward and knocked both of them out. He changed his route... he knew of more secrets in the place... it was littered with hidden tunnels. He bought the blueprints off of a good friend of his... a rough map, but it told of many areas. He moved over to a painting on the wall, moving it slightly to the side he found a small indent in the wall, pressing it in revealed a hidden area. He quickly ducked in before it closed... this should take him further in undiscovered.... he moved quickly and quietly.

Walking fearlessly through the passages, she came upon a pair of unconscious guards. Smiling slightly, she had a feeling there was a good dozen of guards on the other side of the door. Slipping into the next room, she crossed to the window. Swinging out, she scaled the side of the manor, peeking into windows. Bypassing an almost impossible section, she was momentarily thankful for her half-breed heritage, she found a window that was totally dark. Grabbing the window, she carefully pried it open, clinging to the face of the building with her free hand. Looking around the edge, she spotted a cord, most likely attatched to bells, or a tablecloth. Sliding her dagger through the gap, she deftly cut the cord, swinging the window all the way open. Crawling through the window, she peered around the room, instantly recognizing it as Darune's ante-chamber. Walking over to the main door, she quickly checked it for more warning alarms, before moving to the door connecting to his bedchambers. She knew he wouldn't have this one booby-trapped, he was far too arrogant to believe he needed it. Piece of cake.

Keath emerged deeper inside of the home... he slowly opened the door... no guards. He listened, he heard not footsteps. He moved as silent as a ghost, yet there was nobody to hear him. Arrogant fool placed all of his guards near the perimeter. He was deep inside now... he knew a great treasure room was up ahead, where Darune's thieves would stash the treasure until the heat died down... this was his first stop... then his throne room... then outside... that would be where most of the valuables were. The bedroom was far too risky for now. He could take another run of the place later when the home would be cleared out. He found a room with the door locked... he took out some tools and began to pick it... it didn't take him long until the door opened wide to all the treasures inside... it was not trapped... perfect. He walked in and began to shove items into his sack.

Walking up to the door that entered his personal bedchambers, Kaia carefully checked the knob. Locked. Narrowing her eyes, she quickly moved to the hinges, pulling a throwing spike as she did so. Carefully poking the pins out of the hinges, she pulled the door from its frame, setting it silently to the side. Stepping into the shadows of his room, she quickly looked to the bed, where she didn't see the expected lump. "Right here," a voice said from behind the bed before she heard she sound of a crossbow firing. The bolt thudded into the right side of her chest, two ribs up from the bottom. Grunting slightly, she lunged over the bed, quickly grabbing the man around his neck. Bending down to his ear, she hissed. "How does it feel Darune," she asked, her knife pressing to his throat, "To have the knife of an assassin at your neck while you are being robbed blind? Yes, Keath is busy at the moment, but he sends his regards. I say, 'Go to hell.'" She felt him start to struggle, his body thumping into the crossbow bolt embedded into her body, causing a wave of agony. "You won't get away with this," he said, trying to kick a table over, and almost succeeding. "I just did," she said before she slid his throat from ear to ear. She dropped his body and quickly made a circuit of the room, grabbing anything of value. Carrying it out, she dumped it in one of his stuffed armchairs before carefully replacing the door, unlocked of course. Sitting in another armchair, she sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Reaching up, she carefully broke the crossbow bolt close to her flesh, preventing her from jostling it any more. "Damn," she muttered, rising to her feet, "That was unexpected."

Keath had finished looting everything of value. He searched for another secret way. Making his way to the throne room was easy, yet it held surprisingly little loot. He found a secret way to the bedroom... he opened the door silently and moved quickly. Once there a painting slid open and he dropped down, looking around. He seen Kaia who looked hurt, and a dead Darune. He moved to her quickly looking at her. "Are... you alright?" he asked.

At Keath's entrance, she had drawn a throwing dart, but upon seeing who it was, quickly slid it back into her belt holder. Looking down at the remaining bolt, she shrugged it off. "I'll be fine," she said, looking at him, "All the valuables are right there." She pointed to the chair holding anything she thought was worth anything. She smiled sheepishly, looking at the pile of stuff. "Unfortunately, you may have to check through everything," she said, inhaling and feeling the bolt tugging, "I wouldn't trust my eye. Never been one for theiving."

Hoping that she was really alright, he went to the chair and stuffed the goods in his sack. "Alright... This is about it." he said. "We gotta get going... but still, we should get that looked at. Do you want to keep it in as we run? Or do you want me to try to get it out. I'm good with delicate stuff like this." he said. Keath was worried about her, hoping that she would be alright.
