Keath watched her pull out her heavy coat and her belt... the assassin gear. It reminded him that no matter how sweet she was, no matter how she treated him with such love... such affection... she could be a killer... she was an assassin who could kill most anyone that she wished to... however he loved her so very much still... smiled at her. "Right... it's always good to be prepared..." he said.

Glancing over at him she allowed herself a small smile. "This is some of my protective gear," she said with a slight eyeroll, "Last time he was there when I was home, he tried to remove my head with his maul. My family puts the 'fun' in 'dysfunctional.'" She shook her head as she removed her sword from the other belt she had worn, and slipped it into the back of her coat before slipping the belt into the bag. "Just don't ride behind me and you should be fine," she said.

He was a bit surprised her family sounded odd... almost killing her once. He nodded. "Right... I'll be at your side..." he said now fully dressed. He looked her over once more. "I'll be careful there too... I don't want to be on the receiving end of... well... anything that might kill me." he said with a little laugh.

Chuckling slightly, she sat on the bed and dragged her boots over before pulling them on and snapping them down tight. "That sounds like a good idea," she said with a smile, "I'd hate for you to get caught in the crossfire." Walking over to him, she stretched up and gently brushed her lips against his.

Her lips gently against his, He smiled down at her. Kissing her lightly. Reveling in that sort of closeness. He sighed lightly. "Well... we should saddle up then..." he said. "I'll watch my back. I'm a thief... I specialize in making myself hard to hit." he said with a little laugh.

Smiling up at him, she kissed him again before stepping away, or they would never leave the room. "I'm glad," she said, looking up at him, "We should leave before I lose all semblance of control." Reaching out, she gently slipped her hand into his and squeezed slightly.

Squeezing her hand lightly back he smiled. "I drive you that crazy huh?" he said with a little smirk. "Hmm... right... and we should get going..." he said leading her out of the room, kissing her one last time. "Saddle up and move out then." he smirked

Nodding, she followed him from the room and into the common of the inn, before slipping out the back and into the stable proper. Leading the black and white pair out of the stalls, she tossed him the reigns of the white before turning to saddle the black. Tightening the saddle, she swung into the leather saddle and gripped the reigns, turning to look at him. "Saddled up, ready to go," she said with a smile at him.

"Same." he said with a little smile, watching her on the horse. He kicked his horse a bit bringing it up to a gallop. "Alright... lead the way love." he said.

Beaming at him, she nudged the big black out of the stable and nudged him to a trot once they reached the road, heading toward the capitol. Looking back at him, she smiled widely, her eyes glittering in amusement. "Enjoying the view," she asked him cheekily as she rose in her stirrups slightly before dropping back down, "Because I'm pretty sure those are your eyes I'm feeling on my back. If not, I have to go kill a stupid innkeeper."

He laughed. "Hehe... I couldn't help myself but to take in the view..." he said. "Your backside just looks... hehe... too alluring..." he said. "You are lucky that we were able to make it out of that inn... I had thoughts to delay us a bit more..." he said.

Smiling back at him, she flipped her hair over her shoulder, licking her lips as she studied him in the dim lighting. "I wonder if they were anything like the thoughts I was having," she said, grinning, the light flashing off her white teeth and elongated fangs, "I had a fair few delay ideas myself. I almost didn't manage to let you get dressed."

Keath laughed. "Well, I guess we know what is on our minds when we make it to the palace..." he said. "I might have a wild vampyre on my hands... any idea what I can do to tame her?" he asked her with a little laugh.

[Bmare]

Smiling at him, she put a mock-thoughtful look on her face, finger tapping her chin idly. "I can't say I have any ideas," she said, "Never had to tame a vampyre before. It sounds as if you will have to make some things up as you go." She tilted her head back and released a throaty laugh.

With a little smile. "Hmm... I might be able to do that." he said. "But if you get any ideas that might help me tame one... be sure to tell me... I could use all the help I get... she might decide to turn the tables on me, and try to tame me..." he said with a little laugh himself.

[Bmare]

Slowing her horse slightly, so she was riding beside him, she looked over at him with a little smirk. "Maybe she's already gotten you tamed," she said, inspecting her fingernails innocently, her knee brushing against his, "Did you ever think of that?"

Keath laughed lightly, feeling her knee against his. He looked up at her. "Hmm... I hadn't... but it would explain why I always have such a desire to please her..." he said. "Hmm... maybe I'm just her little pet... that wouldn't be so bad... we have a lot of fun together..."

[Bmare]

Turning to look at him, she grinned, dropping her hand to his thigh. "Yes, we do, don't we," she said idly, lips curling into a small smirk, "That's always good though, isn't it?" Looking ahead, she kept her smirk in place as they rode down the road.

Keath was tempted to tackle her off of the road like they had before... but he didn't know if they would have time... and they were on a fairly well traveled road... someone might come by. He loved her so much, her hand resting on him like that. He leaned over lightly and kissed her. "Yeah... we do..." he said. "And... it is a wonderful thing."

[Bmare]

She returned his kiss happily, stroking the side of his jaw before he drew away, a contented smile on her face. "Yes it is," she said, "Isn't it?" Relaxing in the saddle, she tilted her face up slightly to allow the moonlight to fall upon it, like anyone else would do in the warm sunlight. She kept her hand upon his warm thigh, though, enjoying the simple contact between the two of them.

Keath looked up at her. "How long until we reach our destination?" he asked her. Seeing the moonlight upon her, how beautiful she looked. A creature most people would fear... he loved. A vampyre... half breed, but still, he didn't think he could ever live without her.

[Bmare]

Looking back over at him, she thought about it for a brief moment. "Soon," she said as they topped a rise and saw the sprawling lights of the capital below, "Sooner than I thought, evidently." She smiled wryly before nudging her horse down the hill.

Looking down the hill at the capital he smiled. "If I would have known we were this close, I might have been able to wait before... well, hehe... attacking you like that at the inn." he said. "Hmm... actually... I don't know..." he teased her.

[Bmare]

Rolling her eyes at him she nudged her mount forward just a bit as they descended the hill. "I like to call that me allowing you to attack me," she said, shooting a smirk at him, "Or maybe it was me attacking you...I don't know."

Once more, Keath had to wonder if he had been playing into her hands this whole time. "Hmm... I might have to go back to that waitress. See what she thinks." he said teasingly. Remembering the fun that they had because he had mentioned her last time. Just teasing her though was fun enough.
