Aura looks at him a moment as he pats her ass. She says, “Yes we have…” She looks around the village with a smile. The kids are running around enjoying the bright sun light. She watches the children as she waits for the fruit tarts. The baker gives them their breakfast after a bit. Aura’s was a blueberry tart. Her favorite fruit other than strawberry.

Slith watched as Aura looked at the children soon they would be watching their own children playing around. He was excited to see their children and to watch their children grow up. He thanked the baker again and ate up his breakfast. "Mmmm this is lovely"

Aura ate her tart and watched the kids as they played. She says, “Soon we will be watching our own children play.” Her voice was distant as she noticed a black cloud was coming towards the village at a fast space. Her eyes grew wide with worry as she noticed it was a cloud of demons heading their way. She says, “We have to get everyone inside.” She then runs to put a barrier up around the village.

Slith nodded. "Yes soon my love" He affectionly carassed her shoulders. He suddenly stopped and sniffed the air and then he saw it. The black cloud but before he could usher his wife inside she was gone. He rushed around gathering the children and giving them to their parents. He then raced to his bride. "Aura please go inside, you must hide my love before they see you"

Aura looks at him and says, “But there needs to be a barrier or they will destroy the village.” She places a few charms around the village and a red barrier pops up. But before she got in up all the way, a bat demon clawed her in the back. She turned and out of her hand came a blinding light. The demon was sent flying so the barrier could close.

As Aura was attacked Slith eyes went ice blue with anger but before he could react Aura chased it away. once the demon was gone he picked up Aura and carried her back to her hut. "My sweet Angel are you okay?" He stroked her face softly and gently kissed her lips.

Aura looks at him and nods slowly. She says, “I just was not fast enough to get the barrier up before I got hurt.” Blood soaked her dress. She groans and says, “This was the only dress that was not stained with blood. Damn it…” She lays her head on his shoulder as he carries her away to her hut. The people of the village help take care of the wound on her back. They filled the hut with healing herbs and mists.

Slith thought to himself, after this attack was over she would find someone to sew a new dress for her. Surely there had to be some talented sewers in this village as the people tended to her Slith stroked her head. "I am sorry my sweet angel, I was suppose to protect you and a I failed the first day" He hated himself but the smells were even causeing him to slightly relax. "My sweet angel you are going to be okay" He kissed her softly.

Aura looks at him and says, “You have not failed my love. You got me where I can be healed and relaxed even in my weakest form.” She smiles some, but winces as Nana pours oil on her wound. She gripped the pillow that she lays on as pain goes through her body. Nana then goes to burn the blood stained dresses that could not be worn any longer. She says, “I will make you more dresses Aura. But now you need to rest and let your mortal body heal.”

Slith sadly shook his head but he would allow Aura to belive that he had not failed her. As she winced Slith closed his eyes and knelt down at her side and stroked her hair. "I love you Aura my sweet angel" He watched as her Nana left and slightly smiled and nodded. "See that my Angel you will have a new dress soon" He kissed her hand gently. "I will make sure she rests" He nodded "And I really mean rest"

Aura looks at him with a small groan. She did not want to rest in this hut where she could barely keep her eyes open in. She lays her head on the pillow and starts to close her eyes as the mists relaxed her sore and tender body. The two of them were sealed in the hut again once good food was packed in it. The two of them really seemed to need some deep sleep for a while.

Slith chucked. "Now my love dont look so sad do you not want to spend some quaility time with your husband" He pasued and knelt down and whispered "We didnt get to talk or even cuddle too much last night I say we do some of that" He kissed her cheek softly. As the others left he thanked them gently picked her up and laid down then placed her ontop of them then very gently covered them with a blanket andclosed his eyes/ "I do not want you to do anything just ask me and I will do it"

Aura says, “True we did not get to talk much.” She winced some as he gently put her on top of him. Her body was still sore from her wound. She says, “I am glad you and I got married. But I still think it was a bit of a rush for us.” She stroked his face gently as she looks in his warm eyes.

Slith saw the wince and stroked her face. "I am sorry my love" He smiled "Yes we got married quickly but I am glad we did. For we are binded together now" He grinned and kissed her forhead slightly. "Now get some rest sweetie you need your energy to heal' He nodded and shifted slightly and closed his eyes.

Aura looks at him goes to sleep for a while. In the morning she woke up hungry like crazy. She gets up slowly and goes to the door. The baker smiled as she opened the door and gave her a whole tray of food and sweets for her. Her eyes lit up as she saw the sweets. He says, “I know you will soon be eating for two and I figured you would want some sweets.”

Slith slept soundly with her in his arms, stil feeling guilty that he had not been able to protect her, but he relized that he wuldnt always be able to protect her but he wuld do what he culd. He felt her wake up and opened his eyes slightly and watched he grinned as she took the sweets. "Ummm someone have some cravings?" He teased.

Aura smiled and came to back to the bed. She sat on the floor and ate the sweets. She winces some as her back was still sore from the stupid bat demon. The baker then brought in food for Slith to eat as well. Nana came in with a silk dress for her to wear. Aura stood up slowly and tried on the weird dress. It was a sky blue color and was very light on her skin.

Slith watched his beautiful bride walk back to him. As she sat down he carrassed her face. He took one of the sweets smiling. "You have a talented baker in this town" He stood as Nana entered and bowed his head to her in respect. As his eyes fell upon the dress he gasped. "My that dress is beautiful, and you just make it even more beautiful" He carrassed her face and gently kissed her lips. "You become more and more beautful with each passing day my love"

Aura looks at him with a hint of a blush on her cheeks. She kisses him softly back. Nana says, “I made the dress out of a special material that will grow with you as you get bigger with the baby.” She says, “But it is so dang light like I am not wearing anything at all.” She twirled in the dress a moment. Nana says, “I wanted you to be able to comfortable.”

Slith grinned at her blush "Aww look at that I made my little wife blush" He loved his liitle wife in this dress it would make it easy for him to have acces, once she was healed of course. As she made her coment about wearing nothing he chuckeled "Well that could be arranged my bride"

Aura smiles and looks at Slith. She says to him, “Yeah and then we would not leave our home much.” She looks at Nana a moment and she checks her wounds. Nana says to her, “Your wounds should be healed by tomorrow morning. You will be back in your angel form soon, which means your healing powers will kick in and heal your back quickly.” Aura smiles and says, “I can’t wait to have my wings back.”

Aura looks at him a smile. She looks at her love and says, “I just want my wings back badly.” She kisses him softly. She smiled as Nana left. She looks back at him and says, “I am feeling a bit over whelmed at the moment. I mean I have help raise children for the villagers. I have never really thought about having a child of my own.”

Slith picked up his bride and gently held her in his arms. "Aww my love you will be a great mom" He kissed her gently and then carrassed his face with his own. "I know your feeling over whelemed my love but you will be great trust me" He gently rubbed her stomach and kissed her neck. "I will be here"

Aura looks at him a smile. She kisses him deeply as she thought about them having a baby together. It scared and excited her a little. She was still very unsure about being a mother. Sure she was a natural with the children of the village, but never with children that were close to being anything like her. So this scared her more than anything in the world. She says, "I am not sure I will be a good mom."
