Feeling Angel left her she still felt dead to the world. She had caused to much death. s He kissed her and told her that they had to leave she looked around she had her sword that he made for her, andher bike the only thing she didnt have was her puppy. She whistled and it came running she coxed it up on her bike then took after Angel. She felt as if she was trapped in some bad dream. Angel had said his mom was sick but she seemed fine was he realy being truthful? She had no way to be sure and had no choice but to follow Angel where ever he took her. She just wanted Ange to be safe no matter where they went.

Angel lead Jessica about forty minutes out of town to an old beat up shack. He stopped his bike in front of t he shaq and gets off. He then walks inside but not before checking the house left and right. There was nobody theres so he gave the ID

Once they made it to where she was sticken shaken up by what just happened she got off but stayed near the bike holding the puppy in her arms waiting for him to tell her what was happenng, was this where they would be staying? She looked around. "Angel?" She softly whispered then she went mute. Too tramistzied to talk again.

Angel walks out and says, "Everything is fine you don't have to worry about anything." He walks her inside the house and and the says, "Don't get to comofortable up here." He then presses a button a desk in the room is turned into the other room and a stair case is reveled. He walks over to Jesscia and grabs her and then walks with her under his arm as he walks down the staris with her and leads her down into this amazing home under the house. He left Jessica's side to get them some drinks and come back.

Turning to Angel she nodded but remained silent. Her puppy was sleeping in her arms but she barely felt his weight. She looked around to the room. She didnt need to be told not to get comfortable she was in shock and she was like a ghost moving around, she barely felt herself being led down the stairs.

She turned her head as he left and watched him. Her dog woke and leaped from her arms and sniffed around the new home. Jessica watched as he cam back but made no response. She had gone mute as if she had lost her voice. She knew that Herbert had minions working for him, they could still find her and hurt her or worse Angel.

Angel looked at her and says, "Look I need someone to talk to I don't want to be in this undergound home and just sit in silence all the time." He handed her a drink and then bends over to the play with puppy.

Taking the drink Jessica tightened her jaw and sat down on a chair and looked up at him. "Angel, he had people...they wont rest till I am dead they think I will talk about all the illigal stuff that they were all involed in" She shook her head "I dont know why they would think that though" She looked down at the floor. "I just dont want any one else to get hurt because of me"

Angel looks at her and then reaches his hand out lifting her head up with his fingers and saying, "Jessica you saw how my mother handled Herbert before. He didn't even get close to her. You saw what she did after substaing that wound." He smiles and kisses her forehead and says, "She was sick and tired of being sick and tired. She was a true warrior before my time and she didn't want to die from sickness she wanted to die form the blade." He kisses her head and says, "Don't forget to smile." He kisses her and waks away from the table to check on more stuff.

Feeling his fingers on her chin lifting her head up Jessica wanted to turn away but his fingers held her there. She looked down at the ground though with her eyes but she looked up at him when he began to talk about his mom.

She closed her eyes and swallowed hard as he kissed her forhead. As muc as she wanted to retreat and disapeer se had a feeling that he needed her as much as she needed him. She nodded when he mentioned to smile. "I wont forget Angel" She whispered then she slid on to the floor to play wit the puppy as we went to check on things.

Angel came back with a bowl of food and a plate with two sandwhiches cut in half. He gave the bowl to the dog and placed the plate near Jessica. He smiles and says, "Eat you may need your strength." He kisses her forehead and sits down next to her and lays his head on her lap.

When Angel came back Jessica raised her head. She wanted to remain strong for Angel, he needed her, he had just lost his mom. She smiled as the puppy left her for the food "Typical male" she teased. "All ready to love me until there is food"

She took the food from Angel and softly begain to play with his hair then bent down and kissed him gently then sat up and sighed and with one hand played wit his hair and wit the other she ate the lunch, surprisly hungry.

Then wat he had said struck her "And what would I need my energy for?"

Angel didn't move as she played with his hair. He didn't even say anything at first he just laid there. As she kissed him he still didn't move he then looks up and says, "I don't think I will be sleeping much and I was hoping you could spend this first night with me." He then lays his head back down and then he looks at Jessica eating.

Jessica had a feeling Angel wasnt doing as well as he was acting. Since she had come into her life he had lost so much. His mother, the home where they had left, countless of things of his in the home, all his metal working things all the swords she saw everything all because of her.

So she wasnt shocked when he didnt react to her playing with his hair nor when she kissed him.

When he made his comment she smiled "Angel I was hoping I would be with you for more then just one night" She stroked his face as he leaned back and bent down and rested her forhead on his. "I will always be here for you Angel"

Angel smiks some and kisses her and then says, "I was not going to send you away after this night I just know that I am in for countless nigts without sleep and I just wanted you to help me on this first night." He reaches up and strokes her cheek as he turns his head and just stares out into the distance.

Sighing Jessica smiled "I know you werent going to send me away" She didnt mention that if Herberts men found her she wouldnt allow Angel to get hurt defending her she didnt want to up set him though so she wouldnt say anything about it.

She continued to rub his cheek softly as he spoke. Her heart was breaking for him. She held back the tears though wanting to be strong for him. She leaned into his touch and sighed. "I love you Angel and I will be here always"

Angel enjoyed having Jessica rub his cheek. He stopped staring and grabbed her hand sand says, "I love you too but I need to know that if worse comes to worse you will still be here." He kisses her hand and lays his head back down on her lap. He was tired but he just couldn't sleep. He just allowed his body to rest.

Comforting Angel in his time of need Jessica bent down and kissed his nose. "Angel I will never leave you I promise" She clenched her jaw. She hoped that she could keep that promise she didnt want to leave him but she wouldnt put him in any more danger.

As he kissed her hand she smiled and then watched as he laid his head bak in her lap. She watched as he tried to sleep. "My sweet Angel I know you cant sleep, is there anything I can do that can help you?"

Angel just looked ahead and said can we just sit here for a while I need to try and rest. I don't know how much longer I can go if I don't at least get some form of rest." He just stares at the celing his eyes wide open his mucles fully relaxed.

Nodding Jessica started to run her hands through his hair. "Yes we can just sit here my love" She then bent down and lightly kissed his forhead and rested her cheek on his forhead holding him close and just being there for him. She knew his body was relaxed but that wasnt the same as sleeping but there was nothing that she could do but hold him and be there for him.

She kissed his lips softly, gently not demanding then sat up straight again and just stayed ther her arms wrapped around him.

Angel didn't even move he softly kissed her back as she kissed him. But he didn't make too many move ments. He just laid on her lap like a wounded soilder who was unable to move. He finally says, "Thank you Jessica for just sitting her with me." He leans foward and forecs himself. "I need to get a little more mobile." Angel just wonders through out the hideout.

Jessica wasnt excepting him to kiss her back she had just wanted to comfort him. She continued to hold him. Her heart was breaking for him, if she could but she knew it was like when she lost her own father and then her mother ran away from Herberts abuse leaving her to suffer with him it was a process to mourn.

When he finally spoke and forced himself up Jessica stood worridly behind him and walked silently with him ,a little worried. The puppy sensing Angels distress whinned softly at his feat.

Angel just moved around. He finally got to a small well put together room. He opened a few drawers and grabed out a pair of shorts and a sleeveless shirt. He then slowly moved to a bigger room it had multiple punching bags and weights. It also had a clear floor about twenty meters apart. He then pulled out some tape. He tapes his hands and removes his shoes as he wonders into the circle of punching bags. There were eight bags in all they all formed a circle. Angel went into the cricle and gets into an odd stance. He then swiftly and quickly strikes all of the bags like it was nothing. Within sixteen seconds he had struck every bag over ten times. This stance he used was incrediable but he hardly used it but as he moved so fluently in it. It would leave you to believe he practiced this art every day all day.

Not sure what to do Jessica watched him walk around. She was clearly worried about him but she didnt want to push it all she wanted to do was to just be there if and when he decided that he needed her. She knew he loved her and for now that was enough soon he would need her again.

Following him to the room but staying back she watched him work out. Her mouth dropped open watching him he was amazing. She backed up against the wall and watched him amazed she was lost in a trance watching him.

Angel continued to practice in this odd stance. His hands flying out and hitting the bags with stunning punches. His feet kicking the bags with a force not like any other. He was moving so fast that in one ove his movements his shirt came clean off. He didn't stop he just moved and hit. He did this for about an hour.

Leaving the room and Angel he worked out she walked into the kitchen and poured him a glass of water. The puppy whimpered so she filled a bowl of water for him and put it on the floor. She knew that they would eventually have to go shopping , the dog would need food as would they.

Taking the glass of water back to the room she contined to watch Angel work out, it was amazing but it worried her how much longer could he go on like this?
