Re: Angels Imprisoned
"I know, but it's better than saying 'Hey, we're doomed and never getting out!' don't you think?" he said with a dry laugh. He normally tried his best to stay optimistic, no matter how hopeless he knew it was. "Hmm, you're right. We're probably on earth, which can make it a bit easier to get out once we're free. . . I think" he commented, though he was unsure of what he was saying. It would be easiest if they were in heaven, and could get lost in the immortal beings, but on earth they would be the only immortal beings hiding amongst the mortals for however long it took to get back.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Artemis would have shrugged, we he able to move his shoulders and wasn't in chains at the moment. "I suppose, but it still wouldn't physically help us. It may be a bit easier because we're on Earth, but we'll see if and when the time ever comes," he said. "Time will tell us what our minds can only guess."
Re: Angels Imprisoned
"Physical isn't the only thing we need. Something to keep our spirits up, keep us always hoping, and never giving up" Miles said with a small smile. he wasn't used to talking like this, giving so much thought to things. "Minds can really only guess eveything, really. Just because a bunch of people say something is right, how do you really know it is? That's how this will be, most likely. We may think we've found a way out, but at last minute we could be stopped by some unknown factor" he sighed, not even sure of what he was saying anymore.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
"You sound too.....hopeful on this. Quit, because if you're going to be like this, it's going to get on both of our nerves, garunteed," Artemis commented, slightly annoyed by this time. He didn't need Miles telling him what to think. "I have already considered most of this, as it is always wise to observe to think ahead." He didn't mean to be kind of rude right now, because neither of them needed it right now. Not until they were out of here and safe. "What happens will happen, and there may be unknown factors neither of us can consider."
(OOC- Their personalites clash so nicely. They could be a GREAT couple *shifty eyes* Mwaa haa haa! YAOI PWNS!)

((XD W00T!))
Miles rolled his eyes, getting frustrated. "Well since you seem to have concidered everything, have you figured out that if we fight we're never getting out?" he snapped, jerking at his chains in annoyance. He sighed and looked at the floor, realizing that he was going against what he had just said. They needed to get along, or else they were screwed.

Re: Angels Imprisoned
"Absolutley," Artemis said, trying to keep his posture. Miles was questioning him about what he had already thought about, and then had just now contradicted himself like an idiot about fighting back would never get them out of this place. Here he was the one complaining, making threats, and rebelling, and he was telling Artemis not to fight back? Artemis was the one who had just said not to fight and just take it! "Listen, why don't you stop making yourself look like a hypocrite, and then try and follow what you just said," he snapped.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Miles turned his head to look at him, sighing. "I meant fighting against each other. . . " he said, shaking his head. This was getting them nowhere. They were just going to get mad at each other, and it was harder to think about things lik escaping when you're chained up in a room with someone you're mad at. And they probably wouldn't share anything with one another if they were mad, making each of them only have half the information, so it makes it even more difficult.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Artemis hadn't thought that he had meant fighting amoungst themselves. He hadn't considered Miles to be an actual partner, more like someone who was just there and complaining, and intended to get out at the same time. Just someone. Not anyone of signifigance. "All right," he said, "then we won't fight. So long as we can keep on each others terms and not on each other's nerves, we should be able to cooperate."
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Miles rolled his eyes and snorted. "Yeah, that'll last what? Five minutes?" he asked sarcastically. They had barely known each other for an hour he would guess, and they were already at each others throats. He figured that the only way they would be able to get out would be to work together, combining knowledge (if he had any to share) and finding what the other missed, but with them getting pissed off already, that might prove extremely difficult.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Artemis dismissed his retort with an outward sniff, more like a sigh of exasperation through his nose, rather than his mouth. "If you'd like to put it that way, then how about if I set it rather to something like; stay out of each other's buissiness and stay silent."
Re: Angels Imprisoned
Miles smirked and shook his head. "Still not gonna work. I don't know how to shut up very much. I'll end up talking to myself. . . I do that alot" he said, frowning slightly. This was going to prove painful on both their parts, trying to ignore one another, or trying to get along at all. His gaze flicked over the shadowy area again, wondering how long they would be kept together, and if they would ever be able to tolerate each other.
Re: Angels Imprisoned
"Be my guest," Artemis sighed, not even caring what ever Miles did with his time and on hiw own. As long as he didn't include Artemis, then he didn't really mind. How long were they going to keep themselves from going at each other and keeping things from each other to prevent one from getting out. Did they not work together and cooperate, they would stall their escape.
