He smiled at her and cleaned his plate rather fast as well, he finished his not to long after her and sat back closing his eyes and smiled happily as he enjoyed the meal as much as she did "That chicken hun was amazing! That was some dang good chicken!" He smiled as he looked around and took a big drink of his soda.

“ Heh, same goes for your noodles!” Voatana said to him as she sat up and stretched her arms out a little. “ I guess this ended pretty well, considering that we both thought we couldn’t cook, eh?” she added in with a slight grin as she stood up to put his and her dishes in the sink. She decided to wash the dishes herself, seeing as how he was letting stay in his home. The least she could do was help out. When she finished, she turned around to face him, a slight frown on her face as she tugged at the shirt that she was wearing. Her wings were beginning to feel achy from being tucked in for so long “ Hey, uh….do you think you could cut some holes in the back of this shirt for me…? You know, for my wings?” she asked him as she made her way back over to the table. She wasn't sure if he would mind doing that for her or not, but it couldn't hurt to ask. She already had the shirt on, so having someone else cut the holes in it for her would help with the wing thing.

He smiled and nodded happily "Of course! I love what you are and id be delighted to help you out!" He stood up and got up befor moving to the drawers and pulled out a small but sharp knife, he took out the sharpener to make it really sharp so it would be much easier to cut the shirt for her then looked over at her "Now, if i cut you im very very sorry ok! It would not be on purpose" He moved to the table and sat the knife down as he looked at her with a soft comforting smile "Stand up hun, so i can see what i need to do ok"

Vot smiled gently at his first statement. It wasn’t everyday that someone said that they loved what she was for some reason, so in her mind, she was just as delighted as he was….which was another rare occurrence that didn’t come around too often for her. She nodded slightly when he stated that if he cut her then it wasn’t on purpose. “ Okay, I’ll be sure to stay still to keep that from happening….” she said with a mild wary look on her face at the thought of getting cut by his sharp knife. She had went through things that were much painful both physically and mentally than getting cut by a knife, but she still didn't like the idea of that happening. The look went away when she stood up for him though, and after she pulled her black hair out of the way by pulling it over her shoulders, she straightened out her posture and waited for him to start cutting the holes into the shirt.

He moved up behind her slowly and put his hands gently onto her back, as he did he slowly felt around and after a momment or two he took the knife and gently pulled back on her shirt just enough to make a slit in it, then he made the cut into a small long diamond shape so it would be more comfortable her though on her wings, then he did the same on the other side once he felt were her other wing was. Then he smiled and stepped back alittle then set the knife on the table and smiled "See if that works, hopefully their in the right spots!" He said with a soft laugh befor leaning up against the counter out of her way.

Voatana tried to keep as still as she could while he began to cut the diamond-shaped slits in the back of her shirt and thankfully, she managed to keep very still for him, which was kind of surprising because she was usually fidgety. Her tense body probably kept her still enough though. When he finished, she stepped forward and felt around for the holes that he had just created, smirking slightly when he hoped aloud that they were in the correct spots. “ Well, let’s see….” she replied. She flung her wings out, but they were stretching out slowly once they were out of the shirt. She didn’t stretch out her 14-foot wingspan all the way though. Instead, she glanced over her shoulder to look at him. “ Looks like you did a good job--thanks….” she said to him, smiling a little before she pulled her wings back against her back, but they were still outside of her shirt. “ I think it’s time to test my wings out--I guess I had enough time to heal….” she muttered with a shrug, even though, technically, she barely had an entire day to heal from her wing’s injuries. She healed pretty fast though, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

He smiled at her and walked over to her and gently took her hand befor leading her to the door and then outside, after a few momments of walking they came to a decent sized clearing in the woods that was more then big enough for her to try and fly. "Well if you want to try again this would be the place to do it at Voatana, its big and clear enough, but all i ask is please dont hurt yourself ok! If you dont think you can take off then please wait, i dont wanna risk you getting hurt again" Moving back slowly befor sitting down on a stump and smiling up at her.

When Leon gently took her hand, she followed him into the woods, eventually coming to a decent-sized clearing. She let go of his hand and glanced around the area--it definitely looked big enough for her to get a running start, so it was good enough. After he finished speaking to her, she nodded slightly, a smirk coming back to her face. “ It’s okay, I won’t get hurt and I need to start flying again sooner or later and since I’ve already had enough time to heal…” she said to him, trailing off as she shrugged her shoulder and suddenly dashed forward. At the edge of the clearing was a cliff, which was where she was heading. If she couldn’t fly yet, well….she was probably going to break something with her fall. Right when she reached the edge of the cliff, she leaped off and quickly unfurled her wings, smiling when she felt them catching the breeze. She missed that feeling already and thankfully, she didn’t end up falling. Now, she was flying around over the clearing like a bird, swiftly turning every now and then to make sure that her wings were fully healed. After making sure that she was fine with flying again, she suddenly swooped down towards Leon, grabbed his hand and picked him up into mid-air with her, wondering if he would like the view from a higher angle. “ Looks like I’m good now!” she called out to him over the light breeze as she looked down at him, keeping a firm grip on his hand so as not to drop him. " How do you like it up here?" she asked as she made a gentle turn. She knew that some people didn't care for heights, so she would put him down if he didn't like being all the way up here because she was pretty high now.

He freaked out mommentarily as she pulled him up to some prettty up hieghts, he was quiet scared of heights but something about her made him feel quite safe. He looked around nervously for a short time befor smiling and looking at her befor looking around and put his arm slowly and carefully around her waist for more stability in his case. "Thank you Voatana, im glad your healed well now and this is lovely!" He closed his eyes and almost fell asleep within the short time that they was closed, the view was amazing and the feeling was the most awesome thing hes ever felt till that time in his life.

When he freaked out momentarily, Voatana chuckled a little, but tried to reassure him by saying, “ Don’t worry, I won’t drop you….” Even though it was just a little chuckle, it made her realize how long it had been since she had actually laughed. That also made her realize that it had been awhile since she had such a good time. She noticed that he seemed to be getting used to the height thing quite quickly though, but understood that wrapping his arm around her waist would provide more stability and security for him. Still, it felt a bit strange in an unfamiliar way, but her mind went off of that when he suddenly thanked her. “ Thank you? For what?” she asked with a raised eyebrow of curiosity, smiling slightly when he stated that this was lovely. She felt a bit glad that she was healed too, but that probably didn’t need to be said since it was pretty obvious that she was glad her wounds healed off already.

He smiled as he looked around, he was rather overwhelmed with how things looked from such a very high up height. This was all new to him but he couldn`t stop but think how amazing it was to have the ability to fly. As he looked around he looked up at her and noticed she had a slight smile, he hadn`t known her for long at all, but it was the first smile he sense on her sense they met and knew it was a rather happy smile and not one that she wanted to put on for show. After awhile of flying, they finally came to a land which was quite freaky, coming down fast befor slowing down quickly to a stop then landing on his feet, befor falling down to his knees for a second from how fast it they landed. He stood up turned to her and smiled, without thinking he leaned forward and kissed her cheek very softly and said "Thank you for the best time of my life!"

The 16 year-old didn’t really think about how swift she had landed. She was so used to diving down deep and fast, but easily coming to a stop to land softly on the ground--just like a pro, so she didn’t think about going a bit slower than usual since she had someone tagging along with her for once. It obviously came to her when he sunk down to knees though. “ Heh, my bad--I have a habit of not slowing down when I land….” she said with a sweat-drop and a weak smile as she rubbed the back of her head. She felt a bit more relieved when he finally stood up since that meant that he wasn’t too freaked out. Voatana subconsciously tucked her wingspan in close to her back, stretching her arms out over her head before turning back to him. That was when he suddenly gave her a kiss on the cheek, which apparently surprised her according to how wide her eyes had grown. Did he just--yes, he did, but…why? She had no idea how to react to it, so she ended up just saying, “ Uhhh….” until he thanked her for….the best time of his life? Was she really giving him the best time of his life? Even though the kiss was soft and it was on her cheek, there was something about it that made her feel kind of warm on the inside, including what he had said. Usually, she didn’t care for those warm, fuzzy feelings, but she didn’t mind it right now. “ Um, sure….anytime….” she replied to him with a warm smile crossing her lips. " Just let me know when you want the best thrill of your life--I'd always oblige to that...." she joked as a smirk came to her face. Well, it was true--if he wanted a thrill, she could easily give him a thrill ride with her flying.

He smiled at her and then reached out his hand befor softly taking hers and headed inside, he took her to the living room and they sat down befor he moved to the fireplace and started to stack some small pieces of wood. A few momments later he had a small but comforting fire going, he turned to her and said "It gets rather cold out here even in the summer, so i usually have a small fire going and its enough to keep the house from getting to cold. But also, did you have a choice made to were you wish to sleep? My bed if you want, ill take the couch but the choice is yours Voatana!" He looked back at the fire place, he tryed to control himself but something about her just got to him, her looks and her smile, her words and how she reacted to things he did. The more he got to know her the more he wanted her to stay with him. Standing up, he went and sat down by her on the couch befor sitting back and getting comfortable, he turned to her and smiled "So, that flight was amazing, its, well unexplainable as im sure you I hope can understand that!" He said rather excited, it was amazing and the feeling of it was just to hard to explain.

Before she knew it, they were both back in his house, standing in the living room in front of the fireplace. She took a seat on the couch in front of it, admiring the beauty of the small fire when he finally had it going. She never realized how beautiful fire could be--you know, when it wasn’t burning up everything in sight. Slightly, she moved over on the couch so as to give him more room to sit for when he decided and when he did, she relaxed a little herself, but it still felt a bit unfamiliar to relax completely. Voatana brought her long legs up onto the couch with her, tucking her knees against her chest so that she could get some of the warmth circulating around her body. She definitely agreed when he stated that the house grew pretty cold, probably because she was feeling it right now, but thanks to the fire, she was warming up quickly. When he asked her about where she wanted to sleep, she began, “ I’ll just sleep on the couch, in front of the fireplace….” She didn't want to take his bed away and besides, the couch was much more comfortable than sleeping up in a tree like she had done in the past anyway. Her silver irises continued to eye the tamed fire in front of them until he spoke of her flying and how he had found it amazing. “ Yeah….even though I’ve been able to fly all my life, I still find it amazing myself….it’s just that whenever I lift off into the sky, I feel excited and content, but most of all, I feel…free….” she said, closing her eyes momentarily. Feeling free meant a lot more than it sounded since she wasn’t exactly free yet, in reality. “ And to me, that’s the best feeling in the world….many people don’t realize how lucky they are to be able to live their life the way they want to, without being confined and all….” she added in casually as she laid back on the couch as well, placing her folded arms behind her head while she turned her head to him.

He looked over at her and smiled slowly, he leaned back ont he couch befor turning around slightly and grabbed the cover behind them befor he stood up and then slowly wrapped it around her as he went back to the fire befor he put another long. He turned to the couch and smiled at her as he walked back to sit down, as he did he said "Im happy that your enjoying yourself out here, i really am and hope you feel comfortable and free here!" He sat down and leaned back on the armrest as he sat there and closed his eyes slowly and relaxed, he was full of food, enjoying his company greetly, so he was loving this night. He started to say "People are only as free as others allow them to be and nowadays, freedom anit much anymore with people trying to make their rules control us, and it really sucks but for those of us willing to fight for it, well thats worth it id say!"

A small shiver coursed through Voatana after she had spoken, which made her tuck her folded legs even closer to her. The fire was keeping the room warm, but her body was still holding a few chills here and there, so it helped when he suddenly placed an even warmer cover around her shoulders. She smiled over at him, as if to say ‘thanks’ while she pulled the covers closer to her body. “ Yeah, I am…it‘s been awhile since I‘ve felt this comfortable” she replied to him, her smile fading. She knew that, even though she had gotten away, she still wasn’t free from them just yet. Vot blinked softly when he stated that people were only as free as others allow them to be, which caused a slight surprised expression to cross her face. “ Really? I always thought that normal people were able to do whatever they wanted, without any constraints….” she said, still looking a bit surprised. She never thought that there would be tons of rules to abide by in a normal town--she didn’t exactly follow the rules much anyway. “ That does suck….” she muttered in agreement as she looked down with a slight frown, but it eventually disappeared at the mention of those that were willing to fight for that freedom. She knew that she would always fight for her freedom, even if it killed her. She’d rather sleep out in the middle of a cold forest than go back to living in a lab where she would be controlled again, even if it meant that she would be on the run forever. All of this was starting to make her think about her current state now. It reminded her that she couldn’t stay here forever--she probably couldn’t stay for even a few days. That would put him in danger and she didn’t want that.

He looked at her and smiled "By rules I mean the goverment lol" He said with a soft laugh, he didnt like it but he even knew he had to obey their laws, they sucked but oh well, its live. He took off his shirt and pulled a cover around himself slowly as he cuddled back into the couch and closed his eyes very happily.

Voatana slowly brought a hand up to the side of her head to push back some of the black hair that was getting in her face and after his last comment, she gently sat back as well, glancing around the living room for some reason. It was probably just a habit of hers to scan an area once more before settling down a little, even if it was in a seemingly safe place such as this one. She let out a small sigh, her silver eyes staring down at the fireplace once more before her eyelids finally closed up. She continued to hold the covers close to her in the time being. She had never fallen asleep so easily before--well, except for when she was on the car ride here, but before she even knew it, she had drifted off into a silent sleep.

He fell asleep rather quickly without realizing it, he woke up several hours later and as he did, he noticed her over on the other side of the couch befor moving to her and as carefully as he possibly could, picked her up and took her to his room, he slide her slowly under the covers and covered her up befor quickly leaving the room and settling down onto his couch befor again passing out. He fell asleep with little trouble being happy and relaxed again. Hours and hours past befor he woke up at around 9AM, he yawned and stretched, feeling rather revived by the nice sleep he got up and went to his room to wake her up, only to find she was already up and not in his room. "Voatana? Were are you?"

Voatana was still in a very deep sleep mode, so she barely moved when he woke up several hours later to take her to his room. She apparently didn’t even know that he had moved her either….until she woke up in his room, that is. It was about 6:30 in the morning, but she felt like she slept for longer than that. At first, she looked around with a bit of alarm, but after realizing that she was still basically in Leon’s room, she relaxed--well, as much as someone like her could. She quickly freshened up in the room’s bathroom and ran up to the window in the room to open it up. It was time for her morning flying session. She always flew around in the morning to stretch out her wings and whatnot. Plus, it was just for fun too. After opening up the window, she leaped out, her wings immediately catching the light breeze as they unfurled from her back. In less than a minute, she was far away from the house and extremely high in the skies. She would have to keep her height during her little flying session since she wasn’t sure if there were enemies nearby. Well, thanks to her raptor-like vision, she would be able to see any of them on the ground if that was the case. At around 9:00, she was finally coming back to the house--it was about the same time that Leon had begun to look for her. Slowly, she lowered herself in front of the open window in the room, just when he asked where she was aloud. “ I’m right here….” she responded, blinking as she flapped her wings to keep herself in the upside down position that she was in in front of the window. Voatana swiftly spun around so that she was right-side up again, her feet lightly touching the window pane. “ Morning….” she added in as she hopped into the room through the window.

He walked into the room after peaking around the corner and smiled happily over at her "Hey Voatana! Im sorry but i moved you in here, the couch looked uncomfy and i figured you could use a real bed for change" He looked around befor going to the closet were he grabbed some cloths and went into his bathroom, the door only closing half way as he began to strip down and change for the day.

A light smile crossed the elf’s face as he told her that he had moved her to the bed because the couch looked uncomfortable. Well, she wouldn’t know if it wasn’t, but it was still nice of him to move her. Still, it felt kind of strange to have someone actually worry about how comfortable she was since no one ever really considered that for her in the past, but it was strange in a good way. “ Well, thanks….the bed did feel really good….” she said before another thought crossed her mind. “ But I don’t want to take your bed, so I’m fine with sleeping on the couch next time….” she added in as she looked up, watching as he went to the bathroom to change. She was already beginning to feel hungry after her morning flight, so she started to pass by the bathroom door to get to the kitchen, but when she did….well, she didn’t really see anything critical, but she did sort of see some skin since he had only closed the door half-way. Vot looked away quickly before she could see anything else though, eventually coming upon the kitchen.

He got dressed and after a few momments he walked from the bathroom in some light blue shorts that went to his knees, and a muscle shirt as he went and headed into the kitchen befor smiling at her as he sits down at the table "Voatana, Im fine with letting you sleep in my bed, you looked uncomfortable on the couch so i figured you could use it So its no problem at all but if you want ill sleep on my bed but dont feel so bad for it ok!" He said with a smile as he looked around befor hearing her stomach growl and he smiled again as he looked towards her.

When Voatana heard Leon speak, she turned around and shifted her silver optics in his direction. After hearing him out, she smiled a little and nodded her head before responding to him. “ Okay….I guess I’m just not used to so much hospitality, that’s all….thanks Leon....” she said, smirking up at him. Well, that was pretty true, but she eventually stopped thinking about that because that was when she heard her stomach growling quite loudly. She blinked and placed a hand over it before giving out a slight sigh. “ I’m that hungry already….?” she muttered, a little annoyed at her fast metabolism. It was sometimes hard to eat a lot because she couldn’t always obtain such large amounts of food and not too long ago, she was usually too busy being on the run to stop and eat enough, but....perhaps that fact would change.

He smiled as he walked over to her and took her hand, he walked her into the kitchen befor sitting down at the table and looked at her and said "Lets see how good ya cook breakfast! Hehe" He said with a smile as he relaxed and sat back.
