"He needs his own amount of energy to do that. If you keep yourself just under your own limit, you'll be fine." she reassured him, though didn't know how it actually worked. She sat back down on the bench on the opposite side from where they were just previously having sex. "If we do, please be gentle." Riley said, jumping when a strand of hair skimmed across the tender part of her neck. She moved her hair back so that none of her hair would touch that side of her neck. "How bout removing that spell now?" she reminded him, now that they were dressed.

Clause nodded, he sat down, saying the counter to the spell that was just put up. It was brought down... he smiled. "There... good as new... I'm sorry though... by linking us I thought it would just be a happy ending for both of us, friends, you find a mate I go on doing... whatever really..." he said thinking... he didn't have many clear goals. "But... I brought us back into the thick of trouble..." he said.

[Lady Lara]

"Well... that's what we get for being nice." Riley said, looking at him curiously. "However, after experiencing what Varok is like... I'm pretty damn happy with you right now." she admitted finally, "I'd rather be your pet than his slave any day." she said, saying it more casual than intending to brighten his thoughts. She looked around the room, wishing that they could get off the train and wait for the next one. Or, even, not being in this room would brighten her thoughts.

Seeming to sense what she was thinking, he nodded. "If you wish, we can get a hotel at the next stop." he said. Though he was thinking, her being his pet... they would have the bond, even if his mind was right... it couldn't be broken... if he could only get Varok out... they would have a chance... but... hes till felt bad about taking her from her home.

[Lady Lara]

"That would be wonderful." she said quietly, moving her legs to hug her knees. This was even worse than just Varok having enslaved her... she had to deal with a gentleman as well... both being the same person. Two people stuck in one body. It was never easy to deal with this. "I know somebody that could extract Varok from you, and bound him to a dead body." she remembered a couple of her coworkers knew magic very well, and had actually done that before her eyes. "If you want to be you again... we would have to go back to Melbourne..." she looked at him again, wondering what his reaction would be like. Now that she thought of it, she was actually pretty tired. She yawned, covering her mouth with one hand as she did so.

Clause nodded. "That... would be great..." he said, looking up at her. "Get him out of me... but... we will still have the bond..." he said looking down. He knew how to get rid of it too... one of them would have to die... but as far as he knew, he was immortal... "Also, I doubt that Varok will be sitting back while we kill him..." he said. "Once he gets control... you are in for a world of hurt..." he said.

[Lady Lara]

"These people I know have done it before. There's enough of them, that if they work together, they'd be able to do it. I know they can. We just need to get back there as soon as possible, so that we don't even give Varok a chance to take control again." Riley said, just as the announcement about the next stop came up.

[i]Attention passengers... We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some passengers, but the next stop has been cancelled due to a fire in the power room. It seems their maintenance staff had neglected to take care of it. Anyway, our next stop now will not be for another nine hours. Please, take the time to relax. We will contact any major companies that may be expecting some of you. Please make your way toward the cafeteria if you have questions or concerns. Thank you."

Clause listens. "Enough time to get a good sleep..." he said. "That... fire might have been me..." he said with a little smile. "Do you want to go put in a call, let them know that you are coming?" he asked curiously. "It... will take a bit for him to regain his power... we should have about two days until he starts to influence me again..." he said.

[Lady Lara]

Riley took a deep breath, letting it out just as quickly as she let it in. "Two days..." she said, thinking about the nine hours they had to wait until the next stop, and plus however many more hours they'd have to wait for the return trip. It had already been about a day. "Yeah, I could definately get some sleep." she yawned again, watching to see what Clause was going to do. She curled up where she was on the bench, and tried to close her eyes. Somehow, she was expecting Varok to make another amazing recovery, but Clause knew how much energy he had, and how much he needed... so she tried to not think about it all... for the time being, she needed sleep.

[Chaosmazer]

Clause moved next to her on the bench... he wanted to be close to her... he didn't know why. "Do... you mind if I sleep with you?" he asked... "I... just feel the urge to be close to you now..." he said. Wondering if she would trust him... if not, he would move... he didn't want to make her feel crowded...

[Lady Lara]

"I don't mind at all." Riley said softly, soon being able to close her eyes without problem. She expected to have very good dreams tonight. She was in such a feel good mood, that she couldn't think of the bad things that might happen. "If I'm not mistaken, I'd have to say that session made us closer than we could imagine. I won't complain so long as it's you that's here. Not Varok." she said, snuggling closely against Clause's body.

Feeling her snuggle closer, Clause places his arms around her, holding her close. His wings going around them keeping them warm in place of a blanket. "I would say so... I've... never felt all that close to anyone, Wolfie... but..." he stopped... happy to have his own mind back... for now at least...

Riley fell asleep shortly after that, finding out that she got to have some rather... interesting... dreams, rather than what she had originally expected. She slept for the majority of the time, waking up only about half an hour before they would get to the train station. When she woke up, she didn't move yet. She was pretty comfortable where she was on the bench, so she wouldn't move unless she absolutely had to. She slept really well, despite her not wanting to get up yet, and so far she was in a good mood. She kept her eyes closed as she listened in to the noises of the train and listened for what Clause was up to.

Clause was still holding her, he was asleep, breathing lightly, his heart beating evenly... he was happy... despite all the problems... he was happy... content just holding her in his arms, sleeping. However he started to feel her waking... his eyes started to open lightly. "Mmm... you awake Wolfie?" he asked softly.

[Lady Lara]

Riley moved around so she could face him, being careful not to rip her dress. "Yeah, I'm awake." she said, looking up into his eyes. "Are you awake?" she asked rhetorically as she stretched out her muscles, then moving back under his wing. She was pretty happy now, too. She just hoped she'd get Clause back to her magi-talented friends before Varok took over again. She wasn't sure how strong Clause was mentally, but if Varok was able to gather the energy himself, they'd have no chance of getting back in time.

Clause held her still, seeing she was happy. He looked down at her. His arms around her. "I'm awake..." He kissed her, taking no energy... he was monitoring himself. "See... I'm watching my intake... until I get free of Varok anyways..." he said with a little smile. "Are you comfortable?" he asked her.

[Lady Lara]

She smiled at him, blinking a couple times, then answering, "I am very comfortable, actually." she said, glad that he was watching his energy intake. "How long did we sleep for?" she asked, though looked around at the clock anyway. "Oh! It's almost our stop!" she nearly yelled, "It's been so long since I've slept for that long." she said, standing up to stretch out all of her muscles, taking her time about it. Once she finished stretching, she took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly as she looked back at Clause. She put her long coat back on, combed through her hair with her fingers, and waited. "We should probably make our way to the doors so that we're one of the first passengers off, so that we can check when the return trip will be." she said, putting her hands into her pockets.

Clause stood up and stretched out a bit as well, but he was a bit preoccupied by watching her stretching out her body. He moved up putting a hand on her hips lightly before moving off down the train, his hands trailing along her for a moment. "I know you're right... hopefully it won't be too terribly long... I don't want Varok to try anything... luckily he doesn't know how to use my wings all that well... that much I do know. So he can't just pick you up and fly you... or torture you with your fear of heights." he said.

[Lady Lara]

"Well, that's good, then." she smiled slightly, though knowing there was more ways than just flying to get high into the air. On the side of a roof of any building was just as frightening. Not to mention, if it was a skyscraper... she'd have a heart attack just on the way up toward the roof. In a few more minutes when the doors opened, she walked out onto the platform with Clause, walking toward the boards to look for the next train. The boards were just above the ticket booth, displaying when the trains passed through. There were more trains west bound than east bound... they needed to go back east. "The next train..." she kept looking, finally finding a match to her search. "...is in..." her voice immediately flattened, "Another three hours. We'll never make it back in time if we wait for the train..." she said, watching Clause for his reaction.

[Chaosmazer]

Clause looked up, seeing it as well, slightly frustrated. "I... can fly you... but... if Varok takes over... he... he won't know what to do. "But... it will be quicker than any train... however to get there... I'll need energy every so often... but I'll use it as I take it... never taking more that what I need... if that is ok with you..." he said. It was like he would be using her as a battery... but it would work. "That is... if you are comfortable with flying... but other than that... I don't really know what to say." he said.

[Lady Lara]

"How about we fly somewhat low? Just in case?" she asked, not liking the idea of him taking energy as he needed it, but if it would be faster, and if she wanted to avoid a life of pain... well, she had to be okay with it. "I guess I'm okay with that. If it gets us back faster, then whatever." she shrugged her shoulders, then started in the direction of the stairs which lead down to the street. If Clause only took what energy he needed as they continued on their way back, she should be able to keep her own energy up. However, it was a long flight... the longer he flew, the more energy he needed...

[Chaosmazer]

Clause walked off with her. "We won't make it in one day... in fact, I'm pretty sure we will be starting to go on two... however... after those two days... Varok will start his influence... it won't be full out... but I will be forced to think of you as a pet... and only that... I will most likely take more energy than normal... then fly back the way we came... it is a slippery slope..." he said. "But... if I fly fast... and only take what I need... we should be alright... It might delay the change." he said. "And I will fly low." he said. "We can make it to a town by tonight, get a room, let you rest... I'll also regain some energy. You... might be feeling pretty drained after this." he said.

[Lady Lara]

"Yeah, I have no doubt about that." Riley said, referring to her feeling drained by the end of the day. "I'm sure we'll be fine." she nodded, as if agreeing with herself. "Shall we get going? Do you need a kiss before we go?" she asked, walking toward a nearby baseball field so they wouldn't be so crowded during takeoff. Once in the baseball field, she turned toward him, waiting to see what he would do, just wanting to get going.

"Yeah... I could use one actually..." he said lifting her. Stretching out his wings. He looked down at her, kissing her... but not taking any energy... still limiting himself... this was going to be his hardest flight yet. "I'm not going to take any energy yet... but a kiss for luck is good too..." he said with a little smile. He jumps, flying off.

[Lady Lara]

Riley couldn't help but smile after he kissed her, "Good luck is usually a good thing to have.." she said, fully knowing that it was, considering the extreme lack of it that she had. She braced herself before he jumped into the air, hanging onto him tightly. She didn't dare look down at the ground. She figured she didn't have to know how far they actually were from the ground... She just hoped Varok didn't try to take over while they were in the air.
