"That's good." she smiled, though not noticing that he still wanted more energy. "We should be good to go, then. If we're this energetic at this time in the morning, we'll make it back in no time." she said, though talking more to herself than him. She needed something to believe that they'd make it back... she needed to trust Jack to setup the ambush. She had a feeling, without them, she'd never get away from Varok. "Maybe we should have taken a couple to go." she said, though figuring it would have been a bad idea. Especially with the two day's time creeping up behind them, it was probably a bad idea to even have given Clause the one cup of coffee.

Clause kept flying... worried... but airborne... he could feel some odd thoughts starting to creep into his head... but nothing too major... just more about stopping for a rest... at least he didn't want to turn around... yet... he knew it would happen eventually. He looks down at Riley... her lips almost taunting him... the energy that she held in that sexy werewolf body...

Riley's hormones suddenly started dancing, giving her butterflies. This usually happened when somebody was thinking about her... She looked up at Clause, "Already?" she raised an eyebrow, "Naaahh, you're still good." she smiled at him, "Have fun only getting so much energy. Never being able to be satisfied.. even after the devil is imprisoned." she said, once again surprising herself. Encouraging him to take more and more energy was the last thing she should be doing... yet... she was curious to see how strong he really was.

He looked down at her. "I could easily satisfy myself... I would hold you closer, press my lips to yours, maybe even slip you my tongue..." he said teasing her. "Taking all the energy you had to offer until you were just asleep comfortably in my arms as we flew..." he said. "Of course... then as you slept, I would start getting those thoughts, those dangerous little thoughts... attempting to brainwash you into being the perfect sweet little pet..." he said. "Would you like that?"

Riley looked at him, actually seeming to be pondering about what he said. She loved french kisses... but at the same time, she didn't really want to be sleeping when and if Varok came out to play. "Well, I don't really want to be anybody's pet... and I can easily just cover my mouth with my hands to stop you from taking energy... Unless you're just looking for a good kiss." she smiled, though moved her hands so she could block him. She could tell that he still had lots of energy, seeing as they just started the journey about half an hour ago...

Clause smiled, "Hmm... a good kiss would be great right now, but unfortunately I might not be able to control myself..." he said flying a bit faster. It wasn't that much of a problem right now... but it was the thought of just taking all her energy right now that appealed to him... he knew it was Varok's doing, trying to get him to take more energy... but still, it sounded so nice right now.

"Alright.." Riley said, watching their path as he started flying faster. "Let's just play it safe and only take energy when you really need to." she took in a deep breath, keeping herself calm as they continued. The last thing she wanted was to completely run out of energy. She forced herself to stay quiet for now, not really wanting to encourage him to take all of her energy right now.

"Don't worry... once I get this devil out of me, I can kiss you all you want." he teased lightly as he flew, only focusing on flying now... it was going to be a long trip today. He needed to make it back within 20 hours... it would be a stretch... but still, with luck, they would make it.

By the time they only had a couple of hours left, Riley was just about ready to fall asleep. She could give him a bit more energy, but she'd fall asleep if she did. "I'm really hoping we're almost there..." she said, speaking just above the sound of the wind. "Are you still doin' good?" she asked, looking up at him. She could tell that Varok was closer to making the stronger influences.. she really hoped they didn't have much longer to go..

"I'm... I'm doing fine pe... Riley..." he said, keeping his mind his own... but just barely... he knew he had a few hours left before he would feel the strong urge to turn around... But would he have the energy to do so... he kept going... he knew they would make it now... but, he needed a bit more energy... he was running low... he held off for now as they made it to the city...

Riley pointed in the direction of the Directorate building, "I have to keep my last bit of energy if you don't want me to fall asleep. I need to stay awake at least until the magi get here." she told him, though frowning when she noticed there was nobody outside of the Directorate, or anywhere near it. Maybe they were just waiting inside. She was getting a little nervous, as she could tell he was fighting to keep his own mind dominant, but she remained focussed on what they were doing. They just had to get inside that building...

Clause landed, it was close to being a crash landing... his legs almost giving out once he landed... he set down Riley... "Alright... lead the way..." he said panting... his mind remaining dominant... he hoped they were ready... he felt Varok's influence starting to come on strong.

Even after they landed, there was no sign of anybody. "Shit.." Riley said, grabbing Clause's arm and pulling him into the building. "Magi!!!" she yelled out, hoping somebody would hear her... hoping Jack had actually set something up... After a moment of silence, Riley looked over at Clause, then let go of his arm and darted toward the empty front desk... she needed to call to Jack's office... there had to be somebody there...

Clause felt funny... "Riley... pet... er... Riley... You need to hurry... if you... can't get them to come... lock me away somewhere... then stay out of my sight... if... if I can see you... I can hurt you..." he said.

"Jack was supposed to have them ready! I don't have access to the cells!" she yelled in frustration. Riley couldn't believe Jack would do this to her. It wasn't her fault that she couldn't show up at work... After one more ring of the phone, Riley hung up and told Clause, "Take the elevator down to the third basement level. I'll authorize your entry." she said, pointing at the elevator door until he saw it, then ran off toward the stairs.

Clause did as told... though Riley was looking better and better with every passing second. Just to drain her, to hold his pet... to kiss her... no... he had to keep it together for a bit longer. Clause got on the elevator, going to the third level in the basement. Hoping that they could make it in time.

Riley had made it to the first basement level to tell the liaisons that she needed the magi in the third basement. Of course, none of them seemed to care about her situation, so after punching one of them in the shoulder really hard, they immediately made calls. The earliest to arrive would be in about half an hour. She stole a set of keys from one of them, and rushed down to the third basement level so she could lock Clause away. She held the keys tightly in her hand so that they wouldn't jingle when she ran, and looked around for Clause, not seeing him right away when she got to the same level as him.

Clause had gotten down into the basement... finding a place she could lock him away... he sat down... resting a bit... he felt his thoughts turning... he tried to stop them... but it felt good... he kept wanting to think of Riley as a pet... perhaps she would enjoy it as well... maybe... it was best... yes... it was for the best... he looked up seeing her enter. He could still be locked away, but she would have to act quick. "There you are pet... I need some energy... come here my lovely little pet... just a kiss..." he said starting to move towards her.

The third floor was filled with cells, with one desk near the door to the elevator. As soon as Riley saw him, she darted toward him, trying to get to the cell door before he did. "I'm not giving you anything until I know who I'm talking to." she said, rushing over, "No more kisses, no more hugs or being in sight of each other." trying to pull the door closed before he could stop her...

Clause rushed to the door, in his weakened state, he wasn't as fast or as strong as normal, still pretty fast, but would it be enough to get to her? He didn't know. "It's me pet... your loving master... just a kiss... it will feel good to you too..." he said trying to get to the door before her.

The door seemed to either be jammed, or just too rusty to move. He had the chance to get through, even as Riley continued to push the sliding cell door closed. "Just help me close this door and I'll give you a kiss." she lied, doubting he'd actually go for it. At this point, she gave up trying to lock him in, due to the door not moving any further, and made a run for it. "Or not.." she said, pushing against the door to get some momentum for running. She knew this level pretty well, so she hoped to trick him into one of the holding cells...

Clause chased after her. "Come my pet... think of how peaceful you would be, laying feeble in my arms... holding you, my lips pressed against yours... as you obey your master's every command." he said. She was moving too much for him to put her through pain... besides now, he just wanted to kiss her... and he didn't know if he had the energy to do anything to her... he ran after her, following her.

Riley wasn't moving too quickly either. She had adrenaline to keep her moving, nothing else. All that energy that Clause had taken from her earlier, had not returned to her in any shape or form. She ran around a couple corners, then stood in the doorway of one of the newer cells. It would be tricky to get him locked up now... but she had to at least try. Riley stood carefully, with one hand on the door, and the other hand free to defend herself. As she stood still, her adrenaline started to die down... she thought of those shadows that caused so much pain... her adrenaline rised once again, but it wouldn't last for much longer...

Clause seen her standing in a doorway... he moved quickly, suddenly. Trying to tackle her... if he couldn't be free, he would be trapped with her... at least until her friends arrived... he lunged at her fearlessly... somewhat angry... his mind believing that this was for her own good... that she wanted to be drained and she needed to learn to obey her master.

She hadn't expected him to move that quickly at all. She jumped to the side a moment too late, and was hit full force of Clause's tackle. She groaned in pain from the impact, and soon found herself struggling to get free. Her muscles didn't want to work anymore, and her willpower was dying because she was so tired. "I was so close..." she said just above a whisper, "So close..." The door of the cell had only slid about half way, so they weren't locked away just yet. They still had about fifteen minutes before the magi-folk arrived.
