"Ah, well, you'll need to find your own way to solve your hands' eating habits. Did your dad ever find a way to fix that kind of thing, or does he just let them drool and eat important stuff?" At least her and her dad didn't have any sort of bodily issues like the drooling, eating hands with mouths on them. They were just puppets, well, she was half puppet, but still, no difficulty with thei types of bodies there. "So I guess you just have t be careful of them when you're working on things that aren't your original form of art, right?"

Ryota moved his hands so that they were in his lap and he looked at the mouths on the palms. "My dad's don't really misbehave" he said with a laugh. "I think they have a mind of their own. . . mine will eat anything near them. One of them ate a pain killer once, and I couldn't feel my hand for a few hours". He put his arms behind his head and fell back on the bed, wincing slightly at the pain in his broken bones. It was then that he realized that he had been having a conversation without any arguing between the two of them, and neither of them had been rude or anything. He smirked slightly at thatbefore anyswering. "Pretty much. . . but that's what I do most of the time, so it's not hard to keep them from eating everything else".

"Nice," Nami scoffed, "nice job. Can hands be trained anyways? Just in case you get tired of being careful?" Knowing Ryota, he could eventually get careless and allow his mouths to eat whatever the heck they pleased. But she wouldn't say anything about that, else their peacefully conversation would go haywire and arguing would break out once more. Honesty, she didn't want that to happen. She didn't enjoy the fights they got in, mostly because she wasn't much for shouting or raising her voice. If only Ryota was a little more mature with some cases, then they wouldn't always be screaming at each other.

Ryota thought for a moment about Nami's question. "Hmm, I dunno. It'd be kinda hard. . . how would you punish a hand if it's being stupid?". The only thing that the blonde could really think of as punishment would be hurting the mouths in some way, but he didn't even know if they had brains to know that they were in pain, so it might be just him hurting himself. The mouths didn't even have ears, so it wasn't ike they could hear instructions or anything. "If I can train them somehow, I can be even more careless than normal" he said with a laugh, realizing it for the first time.

"I'm not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing, in your case..." Nami remarked, raising an eyebrow. "The only thing that you'd do if you were less careless would to tripping more, and hurting yourself out of pure clumsyness." HIs thoughts about training his hand mouths were true, and she hadn't thought of it because she didn't have any on her hands, probably. "Do you ever wish you didn't have those on your hands?" If she had those, she would sure find a way to get them off her hands, as soon as possible.

"Probably a bad thing" he said with a grin. "Hurting myself is unavoidable, no matter how careless I am. . . because I'm always careless when I walk" Ryota laughed and grinned again, finding it funny how true it was. He thought about Nami's question for a moment before answering. "Sometimes. . . but only when they eat something they're not supposed to. But they're not too bad most of the time" he replied. The blonde wouldn't have gotten rid of them even if he didn't use them for his art, as he enjoyed being unique in that way other than his dad, and he could scare the crap outta people with them.

"Of course you are, and you could make yourself choke on rice, if you really tried," she snickered, thinking that it was possible, knowing him. "What have they eatten that's actually important to you and something of someone else's that you didn't feed them on purpose to get someone mad?" He'd pulled that on her on several occasions, like when he'd made his hands eat the papers that she had written some formulas for puppets she was making. He even gave them Konan's oragmi paper, and Tobi's candy. Well, no, he ate that himself.... But there was plenty of things he made them eat to get people mad.

"Heh, yeah. . ." Ryota said with a laugh and a slightly akward looking smile. Truth was, he had choked on rice, many times. He smirked at the question and scratched the back of his head as he thought. "Well. . . a whole shitload of drawings, a bunch of food, and once they tried to eat part of a scroll I was supposed to be getting. And uh. . . I was trying to pet Kisame's fish but uhh. . . yeah I'm sure you can tell how well that ended. . . he tried to kill me" the blonde laughed and shook his head. His hands could get him in a whole lot of shit, but they could make life more exciting sometimes.

Pet Kisame's fish? Was that really his intentions, because no one was stupid enough to try and pet a fish. "Were you really trying to pet his fish? Or were you trying to take it out and put it somewhere it shouldn't be? Like, in someone's drink? Or even the toilet bowl?" They'd even messed up one of his missions? They would definetly be the kind of thing she'd want to get rid of right away, because they sounded annoying, and kind of gross, and Nami was not the type to gross out easily, because she worked with human bodies, what with dissecting them and turning them into puppets and all.

Ryota laughed and grinned. "Yeah, I was trying to pet his fish. . . but your idea's way better! I should try that with his new fish!" he grinned evilly as he said this, a plan already starting to form in his mind. He knew that Namie would have gotten rid of them if she had mouths on her hands, but Ryota found many stupid reasons to keep them for his emtertainment. What's more fun than dropping from a tree in front of a little girl and shoving hands with mouths on them in front of her face? Ryota could find nothing, and he would laugh histerically as the little girls run away screaming.

((I've pet a fish XD Megan trained her fish to swim through hoops and come to the surface of the water to be petted XD its funny ^.^))

"I'm not even going to ask what kind of cruel pranks you pull o small children...." Nami murmered. "He has a new fish? Oh, darn, and I gave you an idea, way to go Nami," she said as she rolled her eyes, not really caring. Kisame was a fish fanatic, so he would always get a new one.

Ryota laughed, the evil grin still in place. "It's so much fun so scare little kids. They're worthless anyways. . . really who would want one of those things running around? You could like. . . step on one. . . " he said with another laugh, completely missing the point that he was little once. "Yeah, way to go Nami" he patted Nami on the head a few times with another laugh for giving him the idea, and knowing that she wouldn't like it.

Nami scowled when he patted her on the head, treating her like some kind of short, little- Wait, she was short, and little, but she wasn't a pet that needed a reward. "Only you could step on them, because you're so tall," she told him, she knew she wouldn't because she was the size of maybe a fourteen or fifteen year old, while Ryota was a little taller than his age called for. But that was in his genes, because both of his parents were on the tall side. Her mother and father had given her short genes, so she was stuck looking like a little kid.

Ryota shook his head in dissagreement. "Naw, Kisame and Kakuzu probably could. . .Zetsu. . . maybe Hidan, Tobi could but he wouldn't want to. . .Itachi, Pein. . . most of us probably could. And those who can't would beat the crap outta them for being annoying. Well, some of the short people" He said with a grin. He loved being tall, beleiving that it made him better than everybody else, though it was far from true. He was the second youngest in the Akatsuki, but one of the tallest members, and he took every opportunity to rub it in.

"Tobi wouldn't want to, because he's too much of a softie. Itachi wouldn't bother, because he only cares about his brother, Pein, KIsame, Kakuzu, and Zetsu I could see torturing them slowly, rather than just stepping on them. And some of us short people could kill them just as effectively as you taller bunch." By short people, she meant her and her dad, being two of the shortest in the base. Nami may have been the youngest, and gotten off her small height more, but that didn't diminish her power and skills any. Just gave her a little disadvantage if Ryota was teasing her though.

Ryota laughed and nodded in agreement. "True. . . thank god we don't have any little kids around though, even if it would be fun. They're evil little bitches, from what I hear about me when I was little" he said, clearly not getting the fact that most little kids weren't insane like him, so he had no real experiances or anything to base his opinion off of, as he was too close in age to Nami to remember what she was like when she was little. "I really don't get why people would want to have kids in the first place. . . they're just a burden".

Nami thought about it herself. "I recall reading that most births are accidental, while others bore children out of love and whatnot. Some want kids because they want a larger family." She thought about if she'd ever want children, or if she could even have any. She only had half of her humanity left, but she still did retain the part of her that could have kids. She could ask her dad later, if she felt like it. Nami did remember how Ryota was when he was younger, since she could remember almost everytime he bugged her doing something quiet and peaceful. He was an annoying brat, and still was, although, as they'd gotten older, he became a little better towards her. Maybe it was just a growing up thing that he had matured slightly.

Ryota looked at Nami with a slightly dumbfounded look on his face. "They actually have shit like that in books?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. The idea of 'accidental' births amused him, seeing as it was pretty much people fucking each other and accidentally getting pregnant. He couldn't help but wonder which of those three he was categorized in, thinking it was probably accidental. "Who would want to read about crap like that? Really now. . ." the blonde shook his head and stretched his arms out, succeeding in whacking his broken arm on the wall and letting out a hiss of pain.

Rolling her eyes as Ryota hissed in pain, she answered, "it's in books because it was research for those who desire information and feel compelled to learn." Yeah, compelled to learn, unlike a certain someone who only read books out of the morbidity. "Knowing how your parents were, it must have been out of love, if you're wondering," she said, having seen the look of consideration on his face a little earlier before.

Ryota shook his head in an amazed manner. "I don't get why people would want to learn about that" he said with a laugh. It made no sense to him, but he shrugged it off. He grinned when Nami said that he was probably produced out of love. "Heh yeah, probably, but you never know" he laughed again, a large grin on his face.

"No, I think it's true. I think your dad would be the kind of person, as well as your mom, who would want that kind of thing. Even if you were on accident, they still loved you a lot." She breifly wondered if her parents had had her out of love, or if she was an accident. It could be either, really. Sure, her parents had paid her a lot of attention and a lot of love when she was younger and when her mom was still around. If it were still like that, she'd have no doubts right now that they had her out of love, rather than some sexual kind of accident.

Ryota laughed and nodded. "True" he said with a grin. He didn't remember his mom at all, but from what he had heard about her from various people, he was sure that Nami was right. He laughed as he thought of how bizarre their conversation would sound to people walking by who would just happen to hear, especially since it was between the two of them.

"Hnn," she hummed, thinking. "Yes, perhaps." She sat there, both silently thinking whatever it was that was going throughout their minds. Suddenly, without even knocking, not that he was well known for knocking and being polite...
"Hey! What're you two doing with the door shut?!" Hidan catcalled as he burst into the room loudly, slamming the door and making it hit the wall with a noisy clatter and bang. Startled, Nami saw Ryota jump and fall off his bed, crying out in pain as he hit his broken bones. Nami couldn't help but jumping and reflexively reaching for a scroll or even a sword.
"Soooo, what'cha two doing in here? I saw you two sitting on the bed together, where you gonna kiss, or do stuff? Hmmm?" he joked, putting in sick, suggestive comments that made Nami scowl.
"Why the heck would you think that?" she snapped, putting her hands back in her lap rather than reaching for a weapon.

Ryota's eyes widened as the door smashed open and Hidan barged in. "Uwaaaaa!!" he yelled in surprise as he jumped and fell off of his bed in surprise. He cried out in pain before swearing at the top of his lungs. "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL HIDAN!!!" he yelled, looking up at the albino from where he lay on the ground. He growled at the jashinist's suggestive words and struggled to get off of the floor, not succeeding in more than making himself look like a turtle, lying on his back and flailing. "Yeah, really, what would make you think something like that?" he asked the albino, glancing at Nami as she spoke. He stopped flailing and dropped his limbs back on the floor, giving up in his attempts, settling for glaring at Hidan. "Motherfucker. Ever heard of something called knocking anyways?" he flipped the albino off and looked to Nami. "A little help here?" he asked, waving his un-broken arm in the air.

'Tch-ing', Nami hopped down with some distance from the bed to the ground for her. She reached down and grabbed him as he waved his unbroken arm in the air. "We weren't doing anything, Hidan, nor had we any intentions of doing so." Only knowing she hadn't any intentions, and still having been unsure of Ryota's feelings, she only knew that she hadn't anything planned with the door closed. "Why would you suggest such a stupid idea to us?" she said scoffing, bringing Ryota back onto the bed and helping him adjust.
